We had a great experience hiring Bolt Electric to run a circuit for a new hot tub. This was a big job including going into the attic to run the length of the home to digging a trench around the lanai. Everything was done properly at the price quoted and the install made sure to vacuum and cleanup after they were done. Great communication with the front office with text message reminders. We would highly recommend Bolt for your electrical needs.

Joel was amazing, could not have asked for more effort or honesty.Saved us from spending almost 4000 for a solution that would not even have helped our issue.Had 2 other electricians try to insist replacing everything outside from the ground up was the only option. And while it does need updating, we could have been straighten out in no time if wed called bolt first.The ultimate problem was just a blown breaker. One 40 amp 2 pole breaker. SmhHad we trusted the others, waited longer and paid. Wed have still been in the same boat.We will DEFINITLY be using bolt when we DO update our grounding system and the rest.THANK YOU JOEL!

Hard working meticulous knowledgeable electrician and apprentice electrician worked from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm building complete main control panel and then turned control panel and it worked right a way then checked out all lights fans kitchen appliances pool heat pump ac unit office with desktop pc printer modem in all rooms lanai washer dryer flood light illuminating boat lift and dock, labeled all circuits so I could see what needed to be turned off for repair in future. I am very pleased with their work and recommend them to anyone they used high quality Eaton parts and did so with fare prices

Bolt electric called before coming. The person that came, Joel ,was the field representative who surveyed the problem. He was very knowledgeable and obviously very experienced. I had a problem with the whip wire on my water heater. It took him a few minutes, gave me an estimate and told me the person that would fix the problem would be here with the proper equipment as soon as possible. I figured it would be in a few days. Then I found out, that he didnt want us to be without hot water. They re-routed someone who went back to Bolt, picked up a new whip wire, and came to our house within about the next two hours and had the problem fixed within the next hour which includes having to go up into the attic to fix the problem. These guys were great. I knew them from last year when I bought a new circuit panel and I spent time speaking with the owner of the company at that time. They are organized, intelligent, personable, and eager to get the job done correctly and on time. I recommend Bolt Electric to anyone in the area or even outside this local area. Their fees are reasonable, and the people with whom I spoke to on the phone were knowledgeable as well. It is with ease that I write this recommendation, and am glad they are there to handle my electrical needs, whatever they may be.

This is the first time i used Bolt do i didnt know what to expect. Pleasantly surprised when Zack showed up. We had small talk then went into what i thought i needed. Zack walked me through an alternative solution ( He could have sold me something different ) that was a better choice. He was very knowledgable all things electric. He was easy to talk to which then i explained other issues that i had. He went over and again gave a solution that worked better for me. This company seems to have the right approach for there customers. Je is back this week coming up and Im sure they will take care of the repairs like an expert. This was my first experience with Bolt. I do not live in Florida year-round, so picking contractors is a nerve-racking process. I heard of Bolt in the Herald-Tribune, they were a finalist in the Community Business Awards. They were responsive and showed up when they said they would. Jeremy and Preston are two rising stars in the business. Jeremy was the lead and was very thorough in his estimating and explaining.

A couple weeks ago the electrical service to my boat dock and lift was lost. The suspected cause was a short somewhere in the supply wiring. I contacted Bolt Electric based mainly on their positive reviews and they determined the problem was severely corroded and broken wiring. Their project Mgr., Joel Hauck, put together a plan to remove damaged wiring, replace old junction boxes and receptacles as well as replace old utility service post. Bolt electricians Jeremy and Hudson then completed the plan to perfection (See photo for finished view). Called Mr.sparky because only half my house had power.they came by checked The fuse panel and some outlets and gave me a quote for five thousand dollars.so I called bolts electric.they sent out Jon caster.he was very professional.he checked out the fuse panel and then went up to a junction block and found the issue.he quickly repaired the problem and said the items listed by Mr sparky wouldnt have fixed the problem. I Will never use anyone other than bolts electric.they saved me five thousand dollars.

We suffered significant flood damage from both hurricanes including our electrical systems. Fortunately my realtor was able to recommend Bolt. We met Joel Hauck who responded to our call and from the minute I met him I knew he was not only entirely skilled and capable but also professional and empathetic to our situation. We had a new service panel installed and exactly as Joel explained how it would go it did. Also anytime I have a concern I text him and he always gets right back to me. I cannot recommend and Bolt enough you will be thoroughly impressed.

Called Katie at BOLT, about a light switch that was not working. Jeremy arrived within 2 hours of my call. He quickly diagnosed the problem and everything was working within 20 minutes after he arrived. He reassembled the gang box. He also checked to be certain that ALL my circuit breakers were adequate and even finished installing a new outdoor fixture that was powered by the repaired switch. He cleaned up after himself and was very careful about not dirtying my floors. The price was fair. He was very kind and extremely professional. I have his card from BOLT Electric and would not hesitate having him return if I have future electrical problems. I should note that Katie called when he was 10 minutes away. Very helpful.

Bolt Electric did a fantastic job for us. It all started with making the service appointment. The scheduler was very friendly and helpful. They called to confirm the appointment which is nice. They also called approximately 30 minutes before the electricians arrival. They even send an email with a picture of the electrician so you know who to expect. Then they called after the service call to see if the service met our expectations. These folks really care that the job is done to your satisfaction. Now to the electrician. Jeremy did a great job. He kept my wife and I appraised as to the situation. He asked for feedback before it was too late on how high our chandelier would be hung and if it was aligned with the wall as we would like. He was extremely professional and knew was he was doing. Cant say enough good things about the service I received. I had a roofing contractor scheduled to come this same day for a quote. They were a now. I had to call them and the guy told me he had already been to my property for the estimate. He then said hed call me when he got finished with the project he was on. I called him toward the end of the day and got a voicemail followed by a text saying hed call me when he was finished. He never did. Bolt Electric is the exact opposite of those clowns. They are a professionally ran organization. Id easily use them again. Which by the way, this is the 2nd time Ive used them and the first experience was great as well.

Katie was very quick to respond to concerns and get things scheduled to clean up the job. Blake came out today to fix everything and did a fantastic job. We called Bolt Electric for a bad electrical outlet in the kitchen and another outlet which just went dead. Dean from Bolt arrived and was very friendly and explained everything that he was doing. He also opened the electrical panel in the garage and showed me where the panel was overloaded and had been getting very hot, resulting in several of the breaker contacts scortching and one contact actually melted. Needless to say it was very unnerving to see this. Dean suggested a new breaker box since the current one was not safe and we totally agreed with him. A few days later Blake from Bolt Electric arrived and repaired the outlets and installed a new larger breaker box. Blake is without a doubt one of the most personable people I have ever met. He has a vast working knowledge of electrical components and explained everything as well as answered all questions that my wife and I had. We are 100% satisfied with the service that we received and enjoyed meeting two of what I consider to be fine representatives of an outstanding company. We will call no one but Bolt Electric for any future problems.

We had several electricians look at the electrical work that needs to be accomplished in our 1980 built ranch. Circuits in our kitchen constantly tripping the breakers, we need additional lines added in the home and outside, and an upgraded ground installed. We knew it is a large job to upgrade, and it seemed to us that none of the companies we called wantedto handle it. Bolt contacted us when we put the job on home adviser and so far we are thrilled. Dean came to asses the job, last week and he has us scheduled to start the upgrade on February 12th. He has a plethora of knowledge and had no problem explaining what he needs to do to accomplish the job. We feel confident we have the right company and man for the job. First of all I am TOTALLY SHOCKED & SURPRISED about some of the comments left about JEREMY! Yes, it takes all kinds to make up the world, but to ever say Jeremy is rude and nasty..............I am in protection mode right now as Jeremy is a TRUE GENTLEMAN, courteous, considerate, knowledgeable and one of the nicest tradesmen I have met in my 42 years of living in Florida. YES, I will say back in 1977 up until the time I left Broward County (Fort Lauderdale) in 1998, if you called a tradesman, (electrical, plumbing, interior changes to bathrooms, kitchen etc), you had to be VERY specific that when they said for instance be there on Monday at 10am, you had to ask them what week and month and year. But so far, Bolt Electric, the plumber I had, garage door installer all have been top notch and on time.To the people who purchased those coupons on Angies List, I feel for you. Have heard many many negatives about how Angies List has run their business in the past. If you remember it was also a paid membership only entity and now that it is so called free, they want to make money anyhow they can and selling coupons is their way to go.As for pricing, if you take the cheapest estimate you are going to get the cheapest work and if you pay top dollar, well you are sending the owner or technician on a nice family trip. Go with a happy medium and you will end up with quality work, especially when you use companies like Bolt and a local garage door company. I feel VERY fortunate as I have not gotten ripped off once yet on this coast of Florida. The East Coast especially after Hurricane David and Andrew really cleaned out many back accounts of people and I hope I never go through that again!I have only spoken to KATIE on the phone from BOLT and she is such a sweet and understanding person and if you ever have a problem like I have when I had to cancel a few times for medical reasons, she was most understanding. But as soon as things were ok on my part and I called to re-schedule, she happily accommodated whatever day and time I needed so as to work around my medical care.I feel we all have our right to our own view, but I just cannot in a million years believe that JEREMY was rude!!!!!For ALL FUTURE prospects looking for an electrician, If you do read the comments, please read them ALL and see how much praise Jeremy & Bolt have received compared to the two or three negatives. Right there the percentages will tell you the True Story!!!!For me and others I know, BOLT ELECTRIC and JEREMY will ALWAYS be our go tos for help.Thank you for allowing me to comment on such a fine entity!OOPS, failed to mention that JEREMY installed a new electrical fixture for me as I am getting a new garage door and what was up there was dangerous and insufficient. The prices quoted were very competitive compared to others and for the time he spent in my freezing garage the other day to install the new outlet, he should have received hazard pay.....ha ha! But Jeremy was a good trooper and just kept smiling.Still shaking my head of someone not liking Jeremy. You will pay more than a cheap handyman but if you want Tesla quality customer service, professionalism, punctuality and guarantees I hight reccomend Jeremy from Bolt electric!
