He listened to my concerns and explained why the underlying issue was different from what I’d initially thought. After fixing the problem, he took photos and videos to educate me and point out potential future issues and solutions. As someone who typically tackles all my own repairs and builds (except plumbing), I was very pleased with his work and professionalism.

Creedence Clearwater Repipe! What started as a slab leak turned into a whole house repipe and in the beginning it was overwhelming to even think about what we had in front of us. I poked around online for local plumbing sources and contacted several of them. Garett was one of the first to call me back and was able to come out to the house in short order for a walk-through and estimate. It was clear he had all the answers to all the questions I had, including the ones I didnt know to ask. Garett certainly has the expertise to do the work and the reps to back it up but what I noticed too was his wisdom to understand what a homeowner is going through when they are facing a once-in-a-lifetime plumbing project with a lot of unknowns. In other words we felt like we were in good hands. The night before the repipe I had a dream where I was standing in a house with drywall dust in the air, holes in the walls, no water running, children crying, and wife with finger pointing. Yes, I was also naked in the dream but thats beside the point. The day of the repipe Garett and CWP crew showed up ready to go. I noticed right away that the way they prepped the house and the method of cutting they used really minimized the mess. This was a big deal to me because it addressed one of my fears around what I thought would be a big clean up after they were done. My fears melted and the whole project went just like he said it would. We even added a water filtration system, tankless water heater, and outdoor shower which meant the whole project took about two days. With Garett and Clear Water Plumbing you get a local company that has made a name for themselves the right way - doing great work while delivering on a product and process that is memorable for all the right reasons. We had our shower drain snake drained. It kept filling up with water. I contacted a few companies but Clear water plumbing was fast efficient in getting back to me with a quote that was reasonable and were able to come out and do the job immediately.I was in conversation with Garret who was quick to respond and Austin was the contractor who came out and did the work. This is an update to a previous review. Garrett saved the day again. After helping with the much-needed plumber’s report and diagnosis for an insurance claim he fortunately did an inspection around the house and ended up catching a very slow leak from our Tankless water heater that had been installed incorrectly. And he noticed that the settings werent right and fixed it so that we get instant hot water - which the system should have been providing all along.While leak damages were being addressed, we decided it was a good idea to Repipe and Clear Water took care of everything and worked well with the mitigation crew. If I could give Clear Water Plumbing 10 stars, I would! The water heater at one of our rentals started leaking at 7pm on Labor Day! I called several plumbers off yelp, only to get their voicemails. I then called Clear Water Plumbing, and Garret (the owner) answered! He couldn’t have been nicer! I told him the issue and he said that he could be there in 15 minutes! He took care of the issue at hand immediately and scheduled a replacement of the water heater for 7am the next morning. Garett from Clear Water Plumbing came out on the same day that I contacted him to diagnose a problem with my old tankless water heater. Instead of just guessing or writing it off, he focused in, called the water heater company to confirm his suspicions, and then explained in clear detail, why the unit needs to be replaced. The new one goes in the day after tomorrow! And his fee to diagnose the problem gets deducted from the new installation. Old fashioned high quality service, for sure. Our toilet was leaking around the base. We put in a Yelp request and heard from Clear Water Plumbing in 20 minutes. We decided to call them because of their great reviews. Garett (the owner) and his assistant, Austin, showed up within 2 hours. They quickly removed the toilet and replaced the toilet wax O ring. Issue resolved! Garett is a licensed plumber and really knows his stuff. He is extremely pleasant, communicative and a problem solver. He clearly explains what needs to be done and works fast and effectively. Garett enjoys educating the homeowner, answering all plumbing questions and offering solutions. He took time to accompany me through my house to address all my plumbing concerns. Hes a walking YouTube instructional video. Garett is no pressure and never tries to sell you anything. He and Austin are super nice guys to work with and believe in doing the job right the first time. Theyre the real deal. Best of all, Clear Waters rates are very fair. Austin Stahl arrived for assessment and estimate the same day, May 23, 2023.The house re-pipe team led by Esequeil arrived the next day on time and determined the scope of work to be done. They promptly began work, each member attacking the various areas. Dropcloths and plastic drapes were installed to protect the house from dust, etc. The new piping was inserted to all areas. Appropriate new fittings and fixtures were installed.The finishing team arrived to patch the drywall, including texturing. The house was completely re-piped in one day. Faster than expected.All cleaned up, and everything worked. Very professional and efficient. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Many aspects of our dealings with Clear Water Plumbing make it a 5 star company. Communication is great, from the email confirmation of our appointment time to the text message alerting us to the plumber’s status enroute to our home. Garrett is also very upfront about any issues that we should know about.As for the actual work, Garrett again merits 5 stars. He was on time, did a great job replacing our faucet, and he left the area neat. He also installed a water conditioner made by Halo, and that work was done very well, too. In fact, Garrett improved upon the existing plumbing configuration of our House Pure filter.Finally, his advice about how to handle issues that arose was thorough and clear, and his efforts to insure this customer’s satisfaction were spot on.

Clear Water Plumbing replaced the underground pipes from the sidewalk/water meter to the main water shutoff to the house.Water was running down the driveway from an underground leak. Austin explained options for repair. One option was to find the leak and repair each as they were found or replace the whole pipe system from the water meter to the main entering the house. Based on the age of the home/pipe, almost 40 years, it was determined to replace the whole pipe system. The replacement would cost less in the long term. After 4 bids and site visits from experienced plumbers, we decided on Clear Water. Explanation of process from Austin and owner was very informative and settled my concerns on picking the right company. All my questions were answered. Work done in 1 day, used a boring technique under the driveway so no cement was damaged. Two holes in the garden were covered back up with very little notice. All in all we were very happy with the work and professionalism by their team. I would definitely use them again.

We had a last minute rush job (i guess all plumbing jobs are potentially rush)... and they came through. A slow slab leak was accidently found during the planned replacement of flooring. We had someone onsite in 2 hours to investigate, and 2 days later, all our plumbing was replaced with new PEX, eliminating the slab issue all together. They were very good at keeping the mess to a minimum, and the result was better than expected.

UPDATE April 29, 2024We had a leak in the copper pipe leading away from our hot water re-circulator that we needed repairing. The appointment was really easy to make and fit easily into my schedule. Tony answered the phone right away and was very professional.On the day of the repair Austin showed up on time and ready to fix the problem. Neatly dressed, very professional and courteous, he diagnosed the problem, explained it to me in a way I understand and made sense, and gave me all of my options. I approved the work and he got to it right away. Plumbers aren’t cheap and I felt I was getting quality work for the fee I was paying. When he was finished, Austin showed me the work he did and cleaned up all of his workspace. Pretty common in south OC since the water is so hard. I looked on Yelp to find the best plumbers in the area and Clear Water Plumbing was one of the three we called for estimates. When I talked to Garett he was very genuine and down to earth. It was clear he wanted to earn my business; he arranged to come out the same day and even beat the arrival time he gave us. When he arrived he took a look at the water heater and saw there was a pinhole leak in one of the hoses. He could have very easily tried to push a new water heater but, instead, Garett confirmed it was only a small leak and he fixed it right then with parts that wouldnt spring any leaks in the future. Outstanding!Garett is the real deal.
