New Life replaced my roof four years ago and did an excellent job. They completed the job in one day.Because of the dry weather the roof has not been tested for leaks until this year. At thanksgiving I sat in a different chair than normal and spotted marks on our dining room ceiling.Called them and they sent a crew out the next day to check out the roof. They found a vent that the shingles had not sealed. They repaired.They came and repaired my ceiling. They were not totally satisfied with the ceiling repair so they repainted it again.BEST COMPANY EVER!

Carl B. with New Life Contracting exceeded all of our expectations and is absolutely the best in the business. If we ever need to deal with storm damage claims again, New Life Contracting will be our go to. In April 2021 we noticed the dormer on our home was falling apart. Being first time homeowners we were shocked and at a loss for what to do next. After posting on a neighborhood Facebook page asking for neighbors advice, Carl was at our door step within an hour on a Sunday afternoon. He diligently examined the damage and walked us through our next steps. Carl immediately and correctly identified asbestos siding on our 1923 home and advised that fixing the roof would require replacing the siding as it cannot be mismatched according to city code. That very day, I filed a claim with my insurance which began a very long and tedious process. After Carl’s initial visit, I contacted six other roofing contractors to get other opinions as per the advice of my insurance. I received different bids and recommendations but none of the others came close to being as knowledgeable and patient as Carl. No other company realized I had asbestos siding and some could not even identify the hail damage. When the insurance adjuster arrived to inspect the damages, Carl was also on site to assist and answer any questions about the roof which he had already inspected. New Life Contracting continued to work with me throughout the insurance process and assisted with getting the adjustments necessary to complete the work on my roof, gutters and siding. When construction began, Carl was consistently on site directing the crews. His attention to detail and urgency in addressing any of my concerns made it obvious that we made the right choice in roofing contractors. For example, he added a chimney cap on our tall chimney where a squirrel had entered the previous year. Carl with New Life Contracting set a new standard for going above and beyond. Now that the work on my home is complete, the house looks brand new and we consistently get compliments from neighbors and friends. We could not have asked for a better, more knowledgable and thorough contractor who truly cared about our home as though it was his own. Thanks again Carl and New Life Contracting!

Our contractor Tyler worked tenaciously to make sure our house was restored from hail damage that occurred in the August 2021 hail storm - he kept on the case for OVER a year, continuing to send inspection info and other supporting documentation so that the roof was fully replaced instead of spot repaired. He also noticed potential damage on our new Pella windows, and was able to get those covered as well with Pella replacement. Tyler went above and beyond to protect our investment like his own. In the end, we have a beautiful new roof, new picture windows and new gutters to protect our family home. The owners are a local Minnesota family whom we met and are genuine people with little children (who attend our kids’ public school!) so we’re really appreciative to do work with them while also supporting their business.

A big hail storm last year left a lot of damage and Tyler worked with the insurance inspector to get not only our roof but also all our siding covered. Our project manager was Andy Philipps and he managed the process from start to finish handling all interaction with our insurance company and the crew.Andy met with the inspector to make sure the inspection covered all the damage he observed and he was quick to respond to any questions we had. The crew did an excellent job and completed the work in one day! The clean up was fantastic and the dumpster picked up the next day! Andy stopped by frequently to observe the progress and came by the next day to review the work with us and make sure we were satisfied.We had ice dam tape on the roof previously and Andy had arranged with a subcontractor to replace the tape and again followed up to make sure the work was completed. Andy handled all communication between our claims representative and New Life Contracting to ensure everything was covered and processed correctly.We werent surprised at the quality of his work because Andy led the roof replacement for two of our neighbors. My home was hit in a storm. It was a challenging time. Our roof needed replacement however the contractor we starting working with was unable to get our insurance company to approve our claim. They came out, Tyler went on the roof with them and the insurance company said I needed a new roof which has since been put on. Good work Tyler!! New Lifes crew was amazing to watch due this work. So many people working so hard and as a team. My very complicated roof, with many different roof lines, was stripped bare and replaced in a day. As a side note, I had solar installed last year. This was not damaged in the storm, but needed to come off for the new roof to go on. New Life identified a very professional solar contractor to remove the panels for the new roof to go on and then re-install the panels when the roof was finished. Our neighbors recommended Zach Hinton after he worked on their roof, and he didn’t disappoint. He was available and on site to ensure things were accurate and went according to schedule. Our New Life contractor, Zach, was very responsive and dedicated to, not just getting the job done, but getting it done right and getting the right coverage from our insurance company. When the insurance company kept delaying, requesting more pictures and even initially denying there was proof of damage, Zach jumped in and worked closely with a variety of adjusters to ensure the full coverage cost was provided. Zach even went back to the original lifetime shingles we had and convinced the insurance company that they needed to base the estimate on 50 year shingles rather that the 30 year shingles they had in their original estimate ... for which the insurance company provided additional funds.We also had a potential storm on the day of the installation so New Life brought in 2 crews who worked steadily to put down the 45 squares of roofing along with improved ice dam considerations and a complete clean well in advance of the storm.We are extremely impressed with the efforts of Zach and New Life. We heartily recommend New Life Contracting to anyone considering replacing their roofs.

Just for reference my wife and I had an insurance claim due to a hail storm that came through. During this claim we were able to get our roof, window wraps, and siding replaced. So they did a good amount of work with multiple site visits. Having that said, I want to highlight some key items that Zach and New Life Contracting did that made our housing improvement process such a wonderful experience.1. Zach was available from the beginning of the project. He even offered to help talk to the claim representative. During our claim inspection, Zach showed up to point some key damage areas to our adjuster. He then worked directly with our adjuster to process the approval.2. New Life Contracting took care of the entire clam process by talking directly with my insurance. They told me what was covered, what was not, and how much it may cost. They are very transparent in this and I later verify this with my insurance agent.3. Zach was patient and helpful during our material selection process. He made great recommendations based on his experience and made multiple trips back and forth in order to get us our desire samples.4. New Life Contracting always keep my wife and I updated on what was going on. They informed us of delays, who was coming to do the work, and how long it would take.So all in all I felt they did an excellent job. New Life installed new roofing, siding and gutters on my house. They not only did an excellent job but it was in a timely fashion. I didnt have to meet with the insurance company or their adjusters. 5 STARS!!!My wife posted a question regarding our roof on Facebook on the neighborhood page and got a PM from Steve almost instantly. Steve and Carl came the next morning to get up on our roof and do an inspection. It didn’t take long for them to find storm/hail damage on our roof and window sashes. They walked us through the process and quickly earned our trust in taking care of everything. They are very good communicators and talk to you like people. They were also very friendly to our two children. On the day our insurance adjuster came, Steve and Carl came an hour earlier to have everything chalked to make sure the adjuster didn’t miss anything. Carl also went on the roof with the adjuster to assess the damages. About a week later we received our claim and were very pleased. Carl told me I should be doing a “Happy dance”. Sorry , not much of a dancer. After seeing the claim Carl put us on the schedule to get our roof done. We actually got it done on a week we were on vacation. Neighbors were sending us pictures left and right because they were so impressed with the work that was done. WE LOVE our new roof. Steve and Carl made the whole process smooth and easy. I purchased a home back in September of 2022 which received hail damage to the roof a month later in October. This was brought to my attention through my lovely neighbor who had a full roof replacement. I had my insurance company send out a field adjustor who released his evaluation to my insurance company. After reviewing the damage, my insurance company declined my claim stating it was prior damage and they had no evidence of a storm in October. A special thank you to Ricky Peterson who took matters into his own hands and pulled multiple weather reports to back my case. After submitting the reports along with some other documentation of proof, my insurance company reopened my claim. After a long battle with my insurance company I am please to say that Ricky and his team will be replacing my entire roof before snowfall of this year, 2023.
