JG did a great job rebuilding my deck from beginning to end! Steve H. and I worked on the quote back and forth until we got exactly what we needed. Then the construction came out and redid my deck to exactly what I wanted quickly and very professionally. Its not to often you find service like this!!! Steve and his crew helped us with a porch remodel that turned out just beautiful! They patiently helped us with the design phase and worked through some thorny issues with the lack of a permit for the original structure and footings. Our new, almost four season porch is beautiful. When the windows took up more wall space than expected, Steve guided us through choosing the best exterior siding as well as interior work so all four walls would match. As expected, there were some delays, but we stayed on top of communication. We appreciated the friendly attitude of all the people who worked on the project despite the less than friendly weather conditions. The finished porch exceeds our expectations and I am already using it as my home office. We highly recommend using JG Hause Construction for a project of this scale.

JG Hause exceeded our expectations on completing a 3-season porch addition to our home! From our very first meeting with Steve, we had a good feeling about choosing JG as our contractor. When the bid came back, we were very happy with how detailed and narrow the bid was, so chose JG out of the three contractors we met with initially. The process was very smooth the entire way through, with open & prompt communication. The crews were friendly, efficient, clean and communicative. JGs in-house guys did great with all of the odds and ends as well. We would absolutely use them again and would recommend them to friends/family. Thank you for the beautiful porch!

Had JG Hause build a new deck and remove existing deck in Eagan. Steve was great and easy to work with from the initial consultation through completion of the project. He was helpful with planning and design, very knowledgeable, and gave honest advice. Pricing was very fair based on other quotes I received, and the quality of work exceeded our expectations. I have nothing negative to say about my experience and will be using them for future exterior projects.

JG Hause came out right away, inspected my leaky roof, patched everywhere leaks could be occurring to keep us safe till the scheduled work would be done, Worked with me to keep it within my budget. They kept in touch regarding the schedule changes due to weather. 5/2023: Our project with JG Hause included a screen porch and deck area. We were pleased with the product that was delivered, the workmanship, and the customer service experience that we had with them. Also, our Project Manager, Steve Hammerschmidt, worked with us to come up with a design that complemented the new house that we had purchased as well as a price point that was within our budget. He kept us informed throughout the process from beginning to end. We highly recommend the company and the professional people that are working for JG Hause.

Just finished my second project with JG Hause and just starting my third. I wanted to thank Steve ,John, T.J and Bill for all their efforts in completing this project on time, within budget and with great customer service. This project entailed a remodeling all three bathrooms with one of them being a total tear down and rebuild. I totally underestimated all the details that went into planning and executing this project. Steve H. did a great job of communicating and guiding us through it. I was very please pleased with every one of the subcontractors used on this project. All of them were very customer oriented and did quality work and took pride in their craftsmanship. I cant wait for to see the results of the third project but I have great comfort in knowing how one and two ended up so I know I will be in great hands. Excellent company. The team of workers built our deck with such quiet efficiency. They were so considerate of our presence and not being intrusive. Always smiling and willing to answer any questions. My husband who speaks fluent Spanish happily found an opportunity to practice that language with them, though the team was English fluent as well. Altogether a pleasant experience with the team and the supervisors and we got a great deck at the end of it all.FIVE STARS!!!

We had a screen porch redone by J.G. Hause due to tornado damage. They were great to work with! Helped plan out how to reconstruct the porch and in the end it was perfect! They had great workers on the job; very particular about their work and had the work area cleaned up every evening before they left (good work ethic.). After the job is complete they return to make sure everything was done correctly. We would contact them again if we had another construction job to do.

Steve was the Project Manager and from the first estimate and evaluation of roof all went smoothly. Very willing to work with insurance company and patient with time line of insurance company. Roofing day went well , Foremen and Crew timely, courteous, and hard working and it was an extremely hot day and still finished the same day. Clean up excellent as well as follow up with satisfaction.I am happy to recommend J.G. House and would certainly use this business again.

They replaced the roof on my lake home and it looks fantastic! While we faced difficulty getting exactly what I wanted due to manufacturing problems, we did settle on a good alternative. The owner reached out to offer help when the project stalled which demonstrated a concern for their customers. My project manager, Mac, worked diligently with me to find a reasonable solution and was responsive to my questions along the whole process. Their crew was efficient and clean and when they inadvertently damaged some gutters, the company was willing to help with the cost of replacement. I have a deck project coming up next and will definitely consider using them again.

From the initial contact that we had with JG Hause, they were Great to work with. As a General Contractor, we hired JG Hause to complete work from Rough Framing, to windows, doors, siding, roofing, soffit, fascia and gutters on 2 different multifamily sites. Kelly was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with to organize these projects. Any questions or concerns we had were quickly addressed. J.G. Hause Construction did a fantastic job replacing my roof after hail damage. They were fast, efficient, and very clean. It is a 100 year old house and there were areas where the roof boards were cracked or weakened. They were thorough and did a lot of repair and fix-up prior to shingling.

JG Hause was SO helpful to suit our needs when we were looking for our remodel work. I checked many others and they just didnt come up with the right solution for us. When we talked to Kelly Meyer she was so helpful and very nice about setting up an estimate. Then we got together with Jeff, Kelly and Jon at our house to discuss our plan and how much it was going to cost. Jeff came up with a nice solution to save some costs for our addition and Jon drew up some nice plans we were happy with. We also had them do a new roof and siding that we are so pleased with and get many compliments about, neighbors all the time. The siding was SO professionally and expertly installed with a touch of perfection. SO Pretty! We did manage to live in the house during whole proces but that was not a issue really. It was fun to work with sub-contractors they selected and all were very nice. Kelly really helped us thru some issues especially with the kitchen. When the it was all done JG Hause sent out a photographer to take pictures of it all and I must say even we were impressed with how it all looked.Keep JG Hause at the top of your list when it comes your remodel work, they WILL impress you!

J.G. House turned my covered deck into a three-season screened-in porch last month. Im extremely pleased with the outcome and the quality of the workmanship. Theres a surprising amount that goes into this process, not least of which is ordering and actually getting the materials that are needed for the project, but there are other trades involved and city building inspections that are required between steps. I was always kept informed of what was going on and didnt feel that any delays were unreasonable. (To be honest, I expected them.) The end result is beautiful and a great addition to my house.

JG Hause-Steve Hammerschmidt-coordinated and completed install of sunscape windows and insulation of our screen porch, structural change to external staircase and concrete slab install for hotub. All the subs were thoughtful and did a great job. Steve did a really great job at communicating and coordinating so it could be completed as timely as possible given supply chain challenges. There were a couple things I had requested be done that seemed to be overlooked but we are still very happy with the outcome and I would highly recommend.

JGH helped me out with a small roof issue that I had last fall and while he was there I asked for a rough estimate on a new vinyl siding project that I was thinking about. Tommy and team fixed my roof within a matter of days and this spring I got the ball rolling on residing my house. The team did a great job and cleaned up all debris, were courteous, and answered all questions that I had. Would definitely recommend and hire again. My wife and I built our current home with Jeff Hause in 2004. It was a crazy time for us with a one-year old daughter and our second daughter being born only a couple of weeks after we broke ground. We almost didn’t build after hearing from our friends many of their home building horror stories (with other builders). We didn’t have that experience at all. Jeff was awesome to work with throughout the entire process. We weren’t extremely involved in the build process given our young children and work schedules. Jeff managed the entire process and was extremely detail oriented – he was more picky than we were with the quality of work that went into our house. Jeff was also a lot of fun to work with – definitely not the experience many of our friends had with other builders. After nearly 16 years, we couldn’t be happier with our home and the quality of work that we got from Jeff. We would definitely build with him again!

Ultra committed to the job. Rain/Snow (?) threatened the work, the crew stayed well into the evening to complete our roof job. We had special requests for the ground on one side of our house, they covered the plants with inverted garbage cans, then tarped. We never knew that they had been there. Cleaned then check the yard once done. Then another, different person rechecked. Many touch base communications, and validations from them on what success meant to us. I could not be happier with their work. This is the second project they have done for us, will not be the last.
