    I would highly recommend this company for all your heating and air conditioning needs. Brian the repair technician was beyond amazing. Super knowledgeable and polite. He didn’t stop till he figured everything out and got all heating units up and running. The word quit is not part of his vocabulary. Also the office from the first call to assess what I needed and to letting me know Brian’s arrival was as professional as one can be. Do not hesitate to call D Rhode Heating & AC. They are second to none.

    I have been a customer for years now. The yearly charge includes a cleaning of your heating and AC. Priority scheduling and discount on repairs. They have a great team of employees that show up and get the job done. Whether your issue is heating or air conditioning they will send a friendly team member promptly with constant updates along the way. You will receive full explanation with photos and options that include transparent pricing. No bait and switch here! I just had them install a new on demand boiler. You can see the quality installation and have peace of mind they stand by their work. Don’t hesitate, give them a call. Next time i will have them show me how to get rid of the Bopeep name on google. Oh and pet friendly too.

    We had Jordan clear a plumbing blockage in our house drain pipes. He did an amazing, professional job. He kept me up to date on when he would arrive, he was courteous, professional and extremely knowledgable. He performed the work without any mess and was very focused on cleanliness.     We had a great experience today during our furnace maintenance with Brian, from D. Rhode. He was personable, professional, knowledgeable and did a thorough job cleaning our furnace. He also answered all of our questions. He worked very methodically and left his work area clean. I would recommend them for furnace service!

    We had our heating unit stop working. So no heat or hot water on new years eve. With my elderly parents visiting from Florida. Bryan went out of his way to find us a replacement part and was able to get our unit working again. Awesome service and a total life saver.     An emergency situation happened during Thanksgiving weekend. The wonderful technician Brian arrived within 2 hours after we called. Brian did not just fix the problem, but he also explained all the details related to the problem. The heat came back to the house after Brian worked a short time. What a wonderful and amazing experience to have during this special time. We signed an annual maintenance contract afterwards. Strongly recommend this company!!

    Christmas is almost here and my boiler was not working, Called D. Rohdes and Dan was simply awesome, he was very understanding and professional. he got me an appointment right away. Ryan came and fixed a very old boiler. Ryan could not have been any nicer. he understood the situation we were in and fixed the boiler. He was very friendly and professional. I would use them again in an instant and will be calling them in a couple of months to replace the entire boiler. its almost 40 years old.

    Kevin came out to look at our oil furnace after hours, which had stopped working mysteriously. He worked hard and fast and through tinkering was able to find the tiny culprit.     Great job replacing my house well supply piping. The guys took care with my plants and damage was totally avoided. They also found the electrical supply wiring to the well was poorly installed / protected and replaced the wire protection piping as part of the job. The price was very reasonable and slightly cheap than the other bids. Will use again!!

    We had a leak that our local plumber could not locate. But John from Rotor Rooter found it right away and immediately replaced a broken pipe with a PVC pipe. It turned out that there was also a clog somewhere in the pipe. He got that out too. He was persistent and worked really hard to fix the problem. Ill admit it was not cheap. It was more expensive than I hoped. But it was obvious that he had a lot of experience and the tools he had were heavy duty. He explained each step before he did it and was completely transparent about the costs. There were no surprises. It costed a lot more than the regular plumber but the problem got fixed quickly which meant we could get back to our lives sooner.

    Brian provided fantastic service! I had a different company come out to look at my A/C unit two days earlier and the technician told me he couldn’t access my air handler in the attic, and then left without fixing the problem or offering me a solution. Not only was Brian able to access the handler, he diagnosed the problem and got my AC running properly again. All while letting me tag along and explain the work he was doing as he was doing it. It was a night and day experience compared to the other technician and I greatly appreciate Brian’s efforts and his professionalism.

    Jordan was fantastic. Quality job. Very professional. My only issue was after speaking with Jordan on a Tuesday and scheduling the work for Friday, the call center never called to confirm. When I called on Thursday to double check, again no one called back. I am glad we had everything ready when Jordan arrived. Again Jordan was great, always have good service with the technicians.

    We have used Rhode for our AC, heating and plumbing. They are excellent in each of these departments. Couldnt ask for a better company to take care of our house. We had a new toilet bowl installed. Jordan, the technician, did a fabulous job. He was efficient, informative about the product we purchased.     First time using D. Rhodes to service my boiler.Receptionist Jennifer called yesterday expressed there may be a conflict with my appt. for today. I explained my boiler wasnt kicking on. Jennifer was very understanding, assured the technician would be here.Technician Brian came, he text me when on his way. He is professional, took his time to look at each part of the boiler. He detected and fixed the problem. Brian took a look at my oil tank as well, making sure he wasnt missing anything.He showed me the cracked filter.(I missed a yearly cleaning or 2). Spent a good amount of time making sure everything was clean and running smoothly.Brian explained step by step what he was replacing, how everything works.     Fabulous! We had a what we thought was a clogged pipe in our newly purchased house. Well, it turned out to be a HUGE project to correct the problems. Jordan and Scott were the first plumbers to come out. Both were excellent, knowledgeable and patient as they assessed our weird problems. They called in Pat and the excavation team. Pat explained exactly what was wrong and how to fix it correctly, while letting us know what was optional and what was necessary. I am confident he was advising us as if it was his own house. The work began quickly, with Alex and Tyler on site for over a week. They were on time every day, worked long hours and were professional and perfectly competent. Everyone went above and beyond to get us through a stressful project. So here is the review we wrote last year. This company continues to supply fantastic service and both our reviews reflect our satisfaction in D. Rohdes service!This was the first time we used D. Rohde Heating and Ac and we had them come out to clean our boiler; this company had been highly recommended by a few of our neighbors. Matthew Griffin came for the service call and was extremely polite and informative as he did the work. I mentioned a small issue we were having with one of our heating zones and he diagnosed the problem, explained the situation and was able to fix it on the spot. We appreciated his expertise and thoroughness for the job. We certainly will use this company again in the future, and will probably specifically ask for Matthew for any future service calls.

    We had D. Rhode service our furnace for the first time. The technician, Brian, was exceptional! He thoroughly explained everything to me. The pricing was fair and reasonable. The scheduler, Jen, was also fantastic! I sent a DM on Facebook on New Year’s Eve, and someone responded back that day! And Jen called on New Year’s Day morning, and set up the service call for just 2 days later. It was just for maintenance and not an urgent matter. Impressively responsive! I am so happy that I found D. Rhode, and I will be using them moving forward. They are professional, fair, reasonable, and a pleasure to do business with.

    We had a new electric heat pump and water heater installed, along with 5 Mitsubishi units. These guys were incredible. Professional, friendly, and very fast! I work from home and they went above and beyond to make sure they didnt disrupt my work at all.     I would give them 10 stars, however the platform only allows for 5. We had a heat pump installed in our home after living here 35 years with electric base board heaters and window AC units. Now we essentially have central air from a unit that will be way more efficient and quiet. The installers were professional, polite, cleaned up each day after themselves and when finished walked us through the functionality of the system and how to maintain it.     I contacted D Rhode Plumbing Heating and AC with a wee bit anxiety because I had a previous encounter with a well known plumbing business in Poughkeepsie and didn’t go so well. Well D Rhode pluming sent a technician by the name BRIAN KORCEK who acted like a true gentleman and professional from the second he stepped in my house. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained the whole problem with my AC split, conducted a test and fixed it ! Besides being excellent at his job, he was courteous, and very respectful.     Jordan came to our house to diagnose the issue we were having with our kitchen sink. He was on time, courteous, professional, and a pleasure. They are usually able to send someone over the next day, and they keep me informed throughout as to exactly when the tech will arrive. John came to clear the drain line in my kitchen sink and made sure to test that the line was clear before leaving (good thing, because this was a pesky clog and took several attempts at snaking the line before it was finally fully cleared).On another call, the whole crew- Kevin, Davian, Dan, and Brian did an outstanding job installing my new boiler. They gave me an update through each step of the process, let me know when gas or water would be shut off, and left the area exactly as it was when they started. Somehow Tech Brian was able to channel his inner Radar OReilly and track down a difficult, but needed part and was enroute to finish the job. At 9:15am got a message from Brian that the job was complete and my tenant had hot water again. I have many NYC units but only a couple in the HV.     Brian & Cole 2 of Mr Rooter’s techs came to my house to do a good size job for me with two Older gas heating systems in my 1954 home in Poughkeepsie. I had used them before a few years ago for some basic plumbing issues & a bad drain clog in main waste line inThey ran a new gas line & hook up for a alternative gas heat fire place installation. They also did a pressure test on my house house gas line due to bad house fire almost 18 months ago and we smelled gas lingering off & on in our boiler room. They did an amazing job job from start to finish with a good cleaning of both furnaces as well as our pipes and chimney clean out. They were prompt the 4 times they came. They were Very courteous, professional and worked very clean. never leaving any garbage behind always answering any questions I may have had and we’re very thorough in their work.they also always fulfilled all the work I asked each time they showed up on time.with no issues or anything of mine broken or dirty.Job well done!! and Brian never left my house without making me laugh and putting a huge smile on my face every day ….he’s a very genuine person and always tries to help in anyway he can and a pleasant man to work in your house.

    Central Air Conditioner stopped working. Called for service. Was told it wouldnt be til after 4:00pm, so it would be considered an emergency call. However we got a call back before 4:00pm saying g Kevin was on his way. Great! We avoided the extra emergency fee.Kevin showed up promptly. He quickly diagnosed the problem and thoroughly explained exactly what needed to be done and the cost of the job. We agreed to have the work done.Our unit is 13 years old. It needed a new capacitor and a thorough cleaning, along with clearing the coil and checking the air handler.Kevin was great.     Brian came to perform the yearly maintenance on my Navien boiler. He explained to me how the boiler works by noting its many parts. His explanations were professorial. He really knew his stuff. He advised me about the pressures in the system, how the heating water is separated from the household water, how the thermostats communicate with the boiler. He checked the various parts thoroughly.     Wow! Thats all I can say about D. Rohde. As a seasoned construction and building management professional, Ive had to work with dozens of contractors. D. Rohde ranks among the best, if not the best. When the coil on my indoor unit started leaking, I called D. Rohde and got the boss on the line. He explained options and costs and came out to see the job. From there, he quickly ordered the replacement equipment and parts and got them installed quickly and efficiently. No mess either. Id recommend D. Rohde to anyone with HVAC or plumbing needs. Hes at the absolute apex of the HVAC game.

    Fantastic company. The office staff was fantastic, the technician was able to diagnose the issue and perform the work that day. I was nervous Id have to miss multiple days of work to fix the problem but they had the parts on the truck and got it done.     I used Mr. Rooter / D Rohde Heating and Plumbing recently for two projects. One was a simple annual inspection/service of the home heating system. The second was a large drain/waste/vent project in a basement bathroom. Both services we satisfactory and met my expectations. When working with Tom on the quoting process, he was very open to working with me as a homeowner who is doing the bulk of the work on our basement project. He listened to what my plans were, and where I needed his help. He didnt try to upsell, and simply offered a fair price for what I needed to accomplish. The job had some schedule setbacks, but they were out of the control of Mr. Rooter / D Rohde. They were patient and a partner as we worked with the city water department, and building inspector. The technicians were all very friendly, flexible when plans changed, and seemed to have the customers interest in mind. While they worked some long days in a dusty basement, they never once complained, and kept a positive professional attitude. The office staff was always very friendly on the phone, and worked with me and my schedule to get the technicians on site. They provided plenty of updates on who was coming and when. When I called, they knew who I was. Overall it was a good experience, and I will continue to use them in the future.

    I am a Town Councilman for the Town of Washington and at our park and pool the bathrooms backed up and we cannot operate with them not working we called D. Rohde and said 24 hrs but 4 hours later received a call that Jamie Bushee was on his way. I met him at the park and he explained the process and cost and fixed the backup in good time. Jamie was very professional and got the job done quickly . I do not know much about the company but Jamie Bushee was excellent, knowledgeable and efficient.     I was having trouble with one of my furnaces and called for the first time after hearing goof things. Brian showed up on time and was very friendly. My mom recently passed away, I dont live in NY and dont have a lot of contacts. I made an appt for a plumber from a friends recommendation because I needed a faucet replaced. Didnt realize that the appt was with DRohde until the truck/technician showed up.The technician (Cole) was super friendly and kind to my moms dogs. Didnt make me feel clueless because I couldnt remove the old faucet. He also gave me the name of someone who can help me with other issues in the house.In addition he talked me through the options for AC/Heat services, which is $3500 cheaper than Petro (my moms current provider). Your staff is incredible and you got a new customer for AC/Heat & Plumbing as of today!

    On may 28 2019, I called D Rohde Heating and Plumbing they answered right away,I asked if they could come out that day, she said not sure, will call you back and see if we have a technician available, within minutes I got a callback she said yes we have someone for you his name is Matt. He can come out right away. Matt arrived about 30 minutes after I called the company, matt was friendly polite and knowledgeable, he listened to what my problem was, he figured it out right away, he asked to check my condenser and found a capacitor not working, replaced it after telling me the cost which was not very high. I felt the price was fair, he fixed it immediately I had cold air running right away the whole system was working good, Matt stayed for a bit afterwards to make sure it was working good and it was and its been ever since they fixed it.thank u Matt and D Rohde Heating and Plumbing

    Had Matt over today for the fall boiler cleaning special. Not only did he clean my boiler, but he gave me details every step of the way. Told me efficiency rating of the boiler, explained to me how he knew the condition of my oil tank and chimney, an update of my burn chamber and every other thing he tuned and touched. Kept my house clean, walking around the whole house just to avoid tracking dirt through my living room and diagnosed a problem in my thermostat. As always, the guys at D Rhode are well and above in customer service and knowledge!

    We have been using Rohde for about 6 years now. We bought our first house and wanted to get on a schedule for AC and Radiator/Boiler tune-ups in the Spring and Fall respectively. They always offer a discount for those services - which is great and then when weve had some things break down they always fix it and come in at a price that is reasonable.They are always able to get us on schedule and are on time.They even went above and beyond one year by finding a discontinued replacement part for our A/C unit while we were at the hospital dealing with our child in the ICU for asthma, allowing us to come home to a cool and allergy-free environment (due to the air filters working correctly). We will always be grateful for that!A+ business and we will only work with them in the future!
