We have had nothing but positive experiences with Aram for his plumbing expertise. Had unclogged drains and even was responsible for re-routing our sewer line because of the location where it was broken under our porch. It helped avoid any additional concrete work or issues with my porch and the excavation was done quickly and professionally. Would definitely recommend.

This morning I came downstairs to a wet floor mat in my kitchen. I called and the very nice woman on the phone (his wife) said she would give him a call and send him over. When Mr. Ecker arrived he was very professional and courteous, and remained so throughout the time he was there, not to mention very understanding and patient of me taking time out of our conversations to chase after my toddler. The issue turned out to be our old leaky faucet, which he highly recommended a new one he had just installed at another customers. I was hesitant because I didnt want to spend too much on a new one, but the price for the new faucet and expert installation by him was reasonable, so I asked him to go forward with the one he recommended. He went and got it right away and installed it, and it looks great! Its very sharp looking and he cleaned everything up nicely. Super nice guy and family owned business, cant speak highly enough of him. And thank you for coming so quickly!

I would highly recommend this company. Our hot water heater failed right before the Thanksgiving holiday. With three kids in the house and plans to have family for Thanksgiving dinner, we were in a pinch. Ecker came through for us, installing a new hot water heater the same day and working late after coming from another job. The materials and the work were quality, and the price was still fair despite the timing right before a holiday.

Amazing locally owned family business. I will always use this company! Its the owner and his son, his wife answers the phone. They have been in business for over 100 years serving the Pottstown area. Mr Ecker is honest, he cares about his customers and takes pride in his business. He was recommended to me by word of mouth in town. Anything plumbing related give this guy a call. I will be recommending home to everyone I can. Its not often you come across a company like this anymore. Trust is a huge thing and this company has mine.

Our first experience with A Jackson Ecker Plumbing was on Thanksgiving Day when one of our tenants called us to tell us that their toilet was not working. We were out of state at the time. Our regular plumber was unavailable. I called one other plumber from the area who was also unavailable. I called Mr. Ecker and explained my situation. Despite the fact that I never used his business before and he didnt know me, he was sympathetic to my problem and the needs of our tenants. He made a service call for us an hour later and fixed the problem for our tenants. When he called us back after fixing the problem, he thoroughly explained to us what the problem was and what he needed to do to fix it. His genuine concern for our tenants was touching. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. My husband and I trust his judgement and expertise and are always happy to recommend his services. It is refreshing to have contact with someone you trust to do work for you and not rip you off. We have deleted our other service contacts and have Mr. Ecker on speed dial.

Let me start by saying that Mr. Ecker exceeded all of my hopes and expectations in diagnosing and fixing our plumbing problem. We have a very old house with very old plumbing. The issue that we were experiencing was both unusual and complicated. Mr. Ecker was easy to get ahold of and returned my call promptly. He talked to me at length without rushing me off the phone and began diagnosing my issue during that first conversation. He was able to work around my work schedule. And I was able to schedule him to come out in a timely fashion. He was prompt and professional. Needless to say, my problem is fixed. He and his wife were careful in my home and courteous not to make a mess. Once he was finished with the work, he provided education and tips to prevent future issues. His pricing is more than fair. And I would trust him to tackle any plumbing issue in the future, no matter how challenging. I will never contact another company, should I ever run into these kind of problems again. I highly recommend the Ecker family to anyone in need of these services. He is very honest. And his expertise in this field shines through! Please hire him for all of your plumbing needs. First, I have high standards when it comes to contractors, I research thoroughly before hiring, and rarely leave reviews. That said, I was very impressed with Aram of A.Jackson Ecker. Not only was he knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and efficient, we called on Super Bowl Sunday and he arrived quickly and managed to assess and solve our basement flooding issue within 15-20 minutes. That alone, would have been enough for me to HIGHLY recommend him but on top of that, he was very reasonably-priced. If you are looking for an ethical and reliable plumber, from a family-owned business, you need to call these guys, you wont be disappointed!

I recently took occupancy of a business that had no utilities turned on for 2 years. Electric or gas. I called Mr. Ecker to setup a pressurization test for PECO. Mr. Ecker performed the test, was on time and then lit all 3 pilots in my space and sent the water through the building. He checked all the fixtures and also fixed a bathroom that ended up being clogged by debris that gathered in the pipes from being depressurized.All in all Mr. Ecker and his son were professional, knowledgeable, polite, hilarious and generally a real pleasure to work with. I trusted them enough to give them a key to my business without even thinking twice.I believe Mr. Ecker values his reputation which means he conducts his business with integrity and follows a strong moral code. I know that Mr. Ecker and his family have been servicing the Potts area for more than 100 years and hes worked in just about every building around.Their services are in VERY high demand so waiting for him to come and look at what ever job or project you have is worth it. You know it will be done right and done right the first time and you arent going to be sold something you dont need.I hope that I can find more businesses like this in our area. They are a dying breed and are extremely valuable.

Mr. Ecker is one of the most responsive and personable business owners Ive met. I called him on a Sunday afternoon on his personal cell phone and he made a trip out to my house that very evening, despite having just returned home from a weekend getaway with his family. Moreover, he promptly cleared my blocked sewer line to the street, capped the pipe, and relieved my worry before the weekend was out. On top of it all, his prices were more than reasonable, especially when compared to the bigger firms. I would absolutely use his services again, and would highly recommend him to others.

Mr. Ecker saved my day and quite frankly my basement by coming out the same day that he was called to take a look at my water heater. If I did not call I would have probably had a basement full of water. Top notch service, very professional and very friendly gentleman. Not only did he replace my water heater for me, he also threw in another part for free that I needed. It is good to know that honest people are still in the business and not just out to take your money! I will be calling him very soon to service my A/C unit as well. You know those large companies you call, only to wait forever to get a call back, and than when they do show up, you get quoted an outrageous price for the repair? Well, that is NOT A. Jackson Ecker. When our second floor toilet overflowed and drained through the ceiling in the kitchen below, he responded promptly, and diagnosed and resolved the problem quickly. Ill definitely keep him in mind for all future heating, cooling, and plumbing needs. Best service Ive found in the Pottstown area so far.

I woke up this morning to find my toilet not working properly. I called the office number and spoke with Mrs. Ecker. She could not have been nicer regarding my emergency. She called Mr. Ecker and he called me in about 15 minutes. He was able to squeeze me in before his 10 am job and was on time and fixed the problem as quickly as he could. I will definitely be calling A Jackson Ecker again for my plumbing, cooling and heating needs. Highly recommended!

Mr. Ecker saved me thousands of dollars and gave me back my peace of mind. I cant believe how lucky I was to find him. Heres the story: the sewer pipe under my house backed up. I contacted my home warranty company and they sent one of their contracted plumbers. That plumber told me that I would need to replace all of the piping under my house at of cost of 10,000 dollars. I was totally freaked out because the warranty company covered none of the expense.I did a search on the web and came across Mr. Eckers website. I called him for advice. He was extremely busy but listened to my long story of woe. He took a personal interest in my situation because he thought that I was being ripped off and deceived by the other plumbing company. Despite the fact that he was overwhelmed with work, he found time to come out and spend several hours working on my problem. He quickly cleared the clogged pipe under the house and then ran a camera through all of the piping. It turned out that the pipes were in perfect shape and a huge burden has been lifted off of my shoulders.Mr Ecker is not only a master plumber but hes a man of character. He is not looking to deceive you or rip you off. He just wants to fix your problem. I cant recommend him enough.

On a Tuesday evening i called A Jackson Ecker plumbing because i has what i thought was a plugged sewer pipe. Hoping the get the best price they came back at me with a number i couldnt get from 3 other plumbers! He also said he could be there at 9 am the next day! Keep in mind that i had called him at 8pm the previous evening. He called me when he had gotten to the home and fixed the plugged line which only took him about 30 minutes.. Unfortunately for me he had also discovered that my sewer trap had collapsed and it was causing the pipes to backup through my outside grate. To take the customer service 1 step further him and his son were willing to not only fix it then and there.... But it was in the worst spot to fix. They couldnt get a backhoe in the area needed! What a headache this must of been!.... So they then dug it up by hand and worked all day on it in the snow/rain and got it fixed by the night time so that my tenant could then get back into the house and have a properly working toilet. This was all also handled by me over the phone because i live in NYC and couldnt be at the property.. If you ever have a problem these guys are your men! More than reasonable, extremely friendly and willing to do what they have to in order for you to have the plumbing that you need! Less than 24hrs and my sewer is now better than it ever has been and it looks great almost as if nothing had ever even happened!! I have used Mr. Ecker in the past for street drains that were clogged and also an oil tank issue. This time, there was a clog in the washer drain. I received quotes as high as $1800, $1100 and $450. Some of those quotes involved cutting the cast iron drain and running vents that I felt were unnecessary. I called him first thing this morning and despite being busy, he took the time to check it out and even remembered the lay out of my basement as hes been there before.He was able to clear the drain using tools and methods that are unique to his company and level of experience. Not only did he do it for 1/9th of the cost, but he provided me much needed mental relief as I live over an hour from the property and cant get there during the week.Thank you again Mr. Ecker and also your son

I have used A Jackson Ecker Plumbing services for many years. In a commercial building and in two subsequent homes. He is very responsive to emergencies & has true concern for the elderly in our community. I have an old home (1895), and he re-plumbed my home. He services my aging oil burner, and he is the only one who knows how to service that model & keeps it humming. He does plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems. His wife is also great on the phone. Many kudos!

We were having an unusual problem with our toilet and as it turned colder, it got weirder. The toilet had gotten to the point where it would run by itself, filling and letting some water go, and then refill itself. As the weather got colder it began flushing but when the water got to the stopping point, the pipe downstairs with the water usage meter got to bouncing, jumping up and down going Apoomp! over and over. Thought we may need an exorcist. We called Mr. Ecker and his wife explained he was at a major installation, but afterward we got a call and Mr. Ecker helped us with this strange problem. The toilet needed a new Fluidmaster, and apparently dirt in it was causing some strange behavior. Mr. Ecker answered our questions and gave us a very reasonable price for his services. No exorcist needed!

This mans expertise saved me hundreds as his knowledge and skill allowed him to remove a broken portion of a pipe without needing to cut into the wall of my shower and he removed a broken threaded piece of pipe without damaging the threads. He then undercharged me so I paid him a little extra, which is a fraction of what he deserved. Rare to find such skill and reasonably priced professional. I am a former contractor and understand a little of the mechanical skill involved in what he did and I have performed open heart surgery and was impressed with his talent. This is the second small job he has helped me keep small and saved me greatly. Lucky to have him in the area.

I called A Jackson Ecker based on a recommendation from a friend. We had no hot water in our bathroom shower. It was his first time to our home, so he needed to see the water heater and gauge. I didnt know much about where these things were, but he helped me to find them. When checking out the water heater, he discovered that a main pipe was disconnected and has likely been leaking carbon monoxide into my basement. As a pregnant woman, this scared me quite a bit. He was very upset for me and suggested I get bloodwork done at the doctor, and even asked me to call him to let him know what I find out from the doctor because of his own concern.He and his son fixed the pipe, the shower water, plus adjusted our water pressure and fixed a runny toilet all within an hour at a very fair price.I will be recommending them to anyone who asks and they will definitely be my plumber on file. Its possible that, I called to have a small issue fixed and they might have saved my life. Seriously.

Mr. Ecker is a true master of his craft. My husband and I are relatively new home owners and new to the Pottstown area. We have had problems with our gas boiler heating system practically since we moved in. We had multiple other HVAC people out over the course of a year and half and they would fix one thing it would work for a short period and be broke again weeks later. Mr. Ecker came in and clearly diagnosed our problem. He showed genuine concern for our well being (since we were completely without heat and had a significant amount of carbon built up in our system putting carbon monoxide in our home) and doing the right thing for us, not just the right thing to make some money. He is a trustworthy expert with the ability to solve the hardest and most unique situations. I would highly recommend him for any heating cooler or plumbing issues or maintenance. It is hard to find someone who puts the customers interest before his own & has the knowledge to provide the highest quality work in the area and this guy can do both and then some.

I called about my hot water tank not working.I got the answering machine, on the message it said if you need someone to come out today please call cellphone number otherwise leave a message. Called the cellphone # he came out at 4:30 drained out the tank because it needed to be replaced. Next morning he was there and within a few hours new water tank was installed. Excellent service and workmanship. Highly recommend!

I called up about my sewer backing up into my basement. Ecker plumbing came out the next day and he was able too unclog my sewer line. It been four weeks now and i have no problem with my sewer system work better then ever. Ecker plumbing is honest and will not rip you off. I had rotorooter and horizon and another local plumber tell me i needed a new sewer line and i was getting estimates from 4 to 7k too fix this problem. I wish i would of called ecker plumbing first. These other company are out too rip people off. I was so happy too find a honest plumber and fix my problem and save me and my wife alot of money that we didnt have since we just brought are house 9 months ago and this is are first home. My husband found this family owned company through google. , 3 floods in our home and one other plumber and we could not figure out where or what pipe was broken. Mr. Ecker himself came out within the hour. 4 long hours later he figured out we had a broken sewer line under our front patio. Within hours he had Buckwalter Excavating lined up and the permits to fix our issue. We know that he had other appointments both days he was here and made us a priority as we had sewage coming in our house. Mr. Ecker went totally above and beyond for us this week! In the middle of quarantine I had my main sewer line back into my basement on a Friday night. We are new to the area and so I looked for good reviews. Aram was the 2nd plumber I called (1st guy was too busy) and Im so glad. Adam made it a point to make time for me despite having personal issues to attend to that day. He kept in touch on his eta and was honest about timing. He fixed my problem quickly, wore a mask when I asked, and even gave an estimate for another issue. He was reasonable (way cheaper than corporate plumbing groups for the same service), was honest about the work, and did a great job! We would highly recommend.

We had a clogged line inside the house, with water back g up into the first floor bathroom. We called A Jackson Ecker and he told us he was on his way. With this being an after hours call with a nor easter brewing we braced ourselves for a big bill. At least thats what happened in the past with other plumbers.But not this time. Mr Ecker did a great job taking care of the clog, along with a plan to prevent future backups. We couldnt be happier with our decision to call Mr Ecker. It is good to finally have an honest and reasonably priced plumber we can call whenever the need arises.
