Louis, Andres, and Jay from Dexter & Sons Plumbing & HVAC are exactly the professionals you need. They arrived bright and early, and worked diligently until the afternoon, meticulously excavating my yard in Plymouth. They replaced my entire main sewer pipe, which was approximately 70ft in length, and managed to level out my yard better than I had anticipated. They are not just skilled plumbers, but also great conversationalists. After they finished with the main pipe, I noticed that my bathroom wasnt draining properly, probably due to inactivity. Without a moments hesitation, they grabbed their plumbing snake, climbed onto the roof, and cleared out the secondary pipe too. I highly recommend hiring them for any plumbing job, no matter how big or small. They definitely deserve more than a 5-star rating.

Ive previously hired Dexter & Sons Plumbing & HVAC for renovation jobs, and theyve never disappointed. Recently, we had a plumbing crisis that left us without access to water until a repair was made. The lady at the front desk was really nice (was it Evan? or maybe it was Andres?), and jay was speedy, affable, and proficient. With this company, they always present cost estimates beforehand, so ive never been hit with an unexpected bill. Ive encountered 4-5 different plumbers from the company handling our varied projects, and theyve all maintained a high level of professionalism, in both looks and conduct. No foul language and such. Highly suggested if youre in Plymouth.

I was incredibly satisfied with my experience with this particular plumbing service. I had an outdated accordion gas line for my oven that had sprung a leak. The team, including Jay and Louis, responded quickly, resolving my problem and installing a dedicated shut off valve, as I had asked. They also made sure that the pilot light on my water heater was reignited. They replaced the damaged gas line with a longer flex line, which now allows me to easily slide out my oven for cleaning. As soon as the gas was shut off and before any repairs were made, I was presented with various options and their corresponding costs. I wholeheartedly endorse this Plymouth-based plumbing service.

Their pricing was very competitive, and their customer service was first-rate. I had the pleasure of working with Jay, who was able to answer all my questions prior to and during the heater repair. The communication was top-notch, and the installation team, including Todd and Andres, was efficient. Since the installation, Ive experienced no problems with the system. I appreciated working with a local business. Overall, I feel I received exceptional value for my investment in their services. I cant recommend them highly enough.

Following a dishwasher fire, the firefighters disconnected the electrical connections for me, but they didnt disconnect the water. I thought, how hard could this be? and decided to give it a try, as I needed to clear the toxic fumes from the house. But, I ended up with water everywhere! The valves under the sink were broken, so I couldnt just shut off the water to the dishwasher. Thats when I reached out to Dexter & Sons Plumbing & HVAC. evan showed up within an hour and quickly capped off the water. The next morning, he was back to replace the faulty valves, rebuild the faucet and also replace the spray hose. He was extremely helpful, assisting me in shutting off and turning on the water at the external valve. To top it off, he even took the smelly dishwasher away for disposal. I was highly impressed with the service provided by evan and would definitely recommend Dexter & Sons Plumbing & HVAC to anyone in need of plumbing services.

Excellent work! We had a plumbing issue with our system - the toilet was backing up into the tub, which was quite a mess. Dexter & Sons Plumbing & HVAC responded promptly, sending out their technician, Evan, within just a few hours. Evan quickly identified the issue, a blockage deep within the pipes. Despite the cleanout being buried and facing the wrong direction, he was able to overcome the challenge by creating an access point in the pipe to reach the clog. Voila, problem solved! Evan didnt stop there, he went around to all the drains inside the house and poured a drain cleaner into them. The job was thoroughly and efficiently done. We are very pleased with the service provided in Plymouth. Great job indeed!

I experienced a significant water leak at my rental property in Plymouth. My water bill skyrocketed from $50 to $180 monthly, so I contacted a renowned plumbing service who advised me to hire a leak detection expert, to whom they referred me. The leak detection specialist charged me $250 to locate the leak. The plumbing service then came out and reportedly fixed the problem, costing me over $300. Despite their assurances that the leak was repaired, the subsequent months water bill was still $180. The plumbing service suggested I contact the leak detection company again, suspecting another leak. The leak detection service, in turn, insisted that the plumbing service should have checked the meter after their repair to confirm the leak was fixed. This blame game continued until they finally recommended a complete re-plumbing of the property, citing the age of the pipes. They estimated this would cost $2k. Deciding to seek a second opinion, I contacted Dexter & Sons Plumbing & HVAC, a company recommended by a friend. Andres arrived the same day, listened patiently to my ordeal, and after inspecting the previous repair and my pipes, he began to excavate a 10-foot area between the meter and the house. He discovered a severely cracked pipe leaking substantial amounts of water underground. Andres replaced the faulty pipe and also inspected all the other pipes, assuring me they were in good condition and didnt need replacement. Although he offered to provide an estimate for re-plumbing the entire house, he emphasized it wasnt necessary. Andres final charge was $268 for the entire job. He confirmed that the meter had stopped spinning, indicating the leak was fixed. Dexter & Sons Plumbing & HVAC has earned my lifetime loyalty. I deeply value Andres honesty and integrity, as well as his effective and knowledgeable problem-solving skills. I would highly recommend them if you need a reliable, honest, and competent plumber.

Updated! after being extremely pleased with their work on my toilets (as detailed in my previous review), i reached out to the same team again for new bathtub fittings. not only did i get the new fixtures, but i also received a quote for a brand new hot water heater as my existing one was quite outdated. their pricing is incredibly reasonable and the quality of their work is top-notch. the plumbers whove visited, including louis and evan, have been exceptionally friendly and proficient. i have nothing but praise for them and highly recommend their services. my old toilet had a major malfunction, it was like a scene straight out of a comedy show but in reality. they quickly came over to plymouth and replaced my ancient, malfunctioning toilet with a brand new one. they even replaced another slightly less old toilet with a new one as well. i will definitely be reaching out to them for any future plumbing requirements.

We had a real problem with a bunch of toilet paper and wet wipes causing a major block in all our drains, including the main sewage line. this resulted in our toilets not flushing properly. it didnt stop there, all the drains from our sink, washing machine, dishwasher, and garbage disposal were impacted. they started backing up into our master bath shower and we even had water leaking from the base of the toilet. it was a stinky mess for sure! luckily, a very helpful guy named andres came to our rescue. he knew exactly how to handle the situation and managed to get everything running smoothly again. in Plymouth, i would definitely recommend these plumbing services.

Jay from this plumbing service has come to my rescue in numerous projects and emergencies. Recently, Jay assisted me in resolving a persistent drain blockage issue. This solution means that Jay wont have to visit my restaurant as frequently to clear drains, even though this reduces his service calls and in turn, his earnings! However, Jay was content because my problem was fixed! I also rely on this plumbing service for all my home pool plumbing and gas line needs. The gentlemen from dexter & sons hvac were efficient, on time, and a breeze to deal with. They were polite and took great care of my home. They were even amazingly kind to my dog. I had a heater and cooling system replaced, an air purifier integrated to the heater, and a brand-new thermostat put in. They had to reroute some pipes due to shifting the cooling system from one part of my home to another, and they performed an outstanding job. Their work is clean and organized. The task was completed in two days. They tidied up after themselves and left no clutter behind when they left. They handled the warranty paperwork and registration as well. They also offered payment plans. I would, without a doubt, vouch for them to family and friends. Its a locally managed business with honest and skilled technicians doing the work. Make a call to this company for all of your hvac needs!!

Andres is simply the best! im a tenant, and the property owners have a home warranty service. My furnace gave up on me at the end of the work week. The home warranty service couldnt get any technician to come. i tried reaching out to different services, but it was a no go. There was one company that could, but they were swamped and could only make it by the next tuesday. come saturday night, i was at my wits end, chilled to the bone, and got in touch with andres. He explained his reasons for not working with home warranty services (fingers crossed you get your payment from them soon but dont hold your breath after a couple of years), and said hed come over, assess the situation but wouldnt contact the home warranty service. That was perfectly fine with us! Jay showed up on a snowy and icy sunday, and while he couldnt fix it until the next day, he gave me some tips on using space heaters. My landlords ended up footing the bill, but it was totally worth it as one of my kids had fallen ill from not having any heat for a few days. Come monday night, the furnace went out again. Jay came over while the other company from the home warranty service was trying to pencil in a visit for the next wednesday or thursday. It turned out to be a disconnected wire in an area he hadnt even touched! They didnt ask for a dime!! i cant recommend these guys enough and if you have a home warranty, i suggest you stop wasting your hard-earned money and put it in an account that earns interest. Home warranty services want substantial discounts from the contractors they hire but will only allow temporary fixes to be done!! This furnace should have been replaced half a decade ago but the home warranty service would rather take your cash, keep it, and leave homeowners high and dry. And just for the record, from here on out, Jay will be known as the deity of heat & warmth!!

I rang up on monday and managed to get a meeting for the following day for ac repair! the technician, andres, was very skilled and an excellent person. he kept us updated about every aspect of what he was checking and fixing, and gave us detailed explanations. andres answered all our questions with full clarity, which i truly appreciate! im still looking at different alternatives, but i can confidently say that theyve won my trust for all ac repair needs in plymouth!

Ive had an AC system installed for about a month now. The effectiveness of this unit is simply astounding. The installation process, from the initial sales discussion with Todd to project oversight by Jay, was fantastic. Evan was quick and professional in answering all of my numerous inquiries. They came all the way to my location and provided an exceptional system at a competitive price, fulfilling all their promises. They also installed a desuperheater, which reduces the expense of heating water, and connected it to a brand new 120v 66 gallon Heat Pump Water Heater. Everything has been running smoothly so far! Even on the most energy-intensive day for cooling my home, the cost has been just $2.50 based on current electricity rates.

Louis, one of the owners, picked up and after discussing our issue, he provided some advice and gave us an estimate. Fortunately, his team, Jay and Andres, were working nearby and arrived within an hour. They inspected the issue, providing clear and professional communication throughout. Jay and Andres were not just professional and informative, they were also two of the most pleasant individuals weve interacted with. They not only fixed the leaking seal, but also identified and rectified the root cause of the problem. We couldnt have hoped for a better service.
