I could not recommend Jay and his team more. They are not just a fantastic company that does high-quality work, but they are also great and honest people.Baystate installed a new Mitsubishi mini-split system in our 1930 two story home. The process from start to finish was exceptional, starting with Jay coming out and looking at the home helping us decide the best route based on what we were trying to achieve. He did not try and oversell us at any part of the process, and it was obvious he had our best interests and goals in mind.We ended up deciding on a multi-zone system with 5x ceiling mounted cassettes. What stood out the most about the installation process was the teams attention to detail, and treating the installations as if it was their own home. Most installers would be looking to get everything installed as quickly as possible, and would not spend the extra time making sure it was both technically sound and also taking aesthetics into consideration. It is remarkable how he was able to hide all of the lines for 5x units. They were all very respectful of our home, as we had a 3 month baby during the time of installation. They were willing to work in rooms around her unpredictable sleep schedule, keep the dust and dirt to a minimum and always cleaned up afterwards.Jay was ALWAYS available for questions, and would give you honest feedback. When any issues came up, he would always make sure we fully understood and agreed with the direction before proceeding. This level of care is hard to find.Two other things that also stood out were Jays knowledge of the Mass Save program and helping us navigate this. His help made this process seamless. Additionally, we had asked Jay if the new Mini-Split system was able to integrate with a Google Nest. Online all of the articles suggested it wasnt possible, but he spent his free-time researching and actually came up with a solution via the Google Home app, where we are able to connect our new mini-split units with the Google Nest.Overall - Jay and his team were amazing, and highly recommend them for anyone!

Jason laid out all the options clearly, didnt try to sell us anything we didnt want and showed up when he said he would everytime.Since he works directly with MassSave, we didnt have to pay anything out of pocket and he took care of all the BS paperwork that comes with that stuff as well as helped guide us through what we needed to do on our end.Hes highly recommended 👍

I at first wondered if it was worth getting the mini split, as I always like fresh air and window fans.First, the unit looks nice and the work done by Jason and the electrician was excellent, so its nice to look at.Second, I would imagine my property value went up, by having one.Most importantly, when the oppressive muggy weather finally came, having the unit proved its worth. It was impressive how dry and comfortable the air was, and it felt naturally processed, not like the garbage your breathing from a window unit. It really cleaned out the main room, and made sleeping far more enjoyable on stuffy nights. My long haired German Shepherd really loved it as well. There were days without it on hot stretches where I was wondering if he was going to overheat and have a medical issue. Not to hear him panting on oppressive days was what made me feel as though I did the right thing, and I have no regrets.Regarding Baystate, Jason was a clear choice. I shop around for everything and am picky and Very cheap. I have dealt with many construction and contractors for decades and can read people very well. I had about 8 companies come and give me quotes and all of them were trying to hustle me. I randomly called Baystate, 45 miles from my house, trying to avoid the scammers on Cape Cod, and it was fate. He was happy to do the ride. I trusted and got a good vibe right away, he was a straight shooter. Jason was as as honest as you will find, and knowledgable. He reminds me of a younger version of me (once a bundle of helpful energy and a little OCD). If asked a question, he will research, and find it his duty to get you the best options and answers. He takes pride in his work, the other companies were just looking for money.He handled all the Mass Rebate paperwork as well, saving me time and saving me from frustration.I would use Baystate again in a heartbeat and recommend them to everyone.

They came out assessed the situation found that my mixing valve and zone valve were faulty and not working correctly. They explained everything and gave me a price . I agreed to the price and I had them take care of it. Very happy with the service and even happier I have my hot water! I would use them again and would recommend them to anyone!!!

Jay and his crew were the best. I Spoke to probably 5 or 6 different companies getting quotes to convert my old oil heating system to heat pumps and a new water heater. Jay came out twice before I even signed the contract to give me quotes, show the plans he drew up, explain the differences in ducted vs ductless, etc.He and his crew worked their tails off, getting here early in the morning and leaving late at night to get the job done ahead of schedule. They were all super respectful of our house and time, and kept the entire place nice and tidy.With how well things went on the heat pumps and water heater, I also had his team convert a newly purchased oven from natural gas to liquid propane, and install in a new gas line.I would absolutely recommend them for any work, they did a great job, at a great and transparent price, and finished ahead of schedule!

Hard to find honest businesses out there!
