Great experience with Plano Plumbing & Leak Detection. Noticed a warm spot on the tile in our kitchen and hot water coming out of the kitchen sink for a few seconds with the faucet turned to cold. Called and spoke to Jack who was great and got me on the schedule later that day. Mario arrived promptly and quickly determined that we had a slab leak and proposed a reroute of the hot water line instead of breaking up the kitchen floor and slab. Mario provided a quote for the reroute as well as installation of a new water heater (at my request) which I thought was very reasonable considering the work to be performed. Mario and his crew showed up the next morning and completed the reroute and water heater installation in just a few hours and thoroughly cleaned up and got everything back in place after the work was done. Even though the reroute proved to be a bit more difficult than planned, I wasnt charged extra. Would highly recommend Jack and Mario and their team.

Jack was able to diagnose the problem over the phone which was a slab leak. He then arranged to have a crew report to my residence on Monday. The crew arrived and I worked directly with Mario. Mario was very professional and took the time to explain the repair process. His team conducted a thorough leak detection test to identify the leak which was a busted hot water line. These 5 star reviews are for real!I sent in a request for a leak detection online. Jack reached out very promptly afterwards and we were able to set up an appointment. Mario came out very quickly and located the leak. He explained different options and pros and cons for each. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I wanted to get with my insurance company to see what they would cover and would let them know what I decide. Jack helped me communicate with my insurance to make this process very smooth and easy. After, Jack was able to schedule me in quickly for the repiping. On the day of the repiping, everything was great. Jack and his team did a tremendous job keeping me updated with the progress. After the job was done, they did an amazing job cleaning up. I thought there were going to be holes in the walls and my responsibility to hire someone to redo the drywall. Nope! They screwed back in the drywall which would make it easy for me to patch up. The flooring was clear of debris and trash. I was very impressed.In all honesty, I hired a plumbing company right before I hired Plano Plumbing & Leak Detection for the leak detection. Plano Plumbing/Leak Detection responded promptly two days ago when we discovered our water and gas bills shot up recently indicating a slab leak under the house. Mario, the tech sent on our job, quickly located the hot water line leak under the slab in our garage.We decided to go with Plano Plumbing and the plumbing reroute option because who needs the noise and mess and repouring ofconcrete after drilling into the slab to find and repair the leak? Mario and crew just left after rerouting the line through our attic to the water outlets in the back of the house. They were prompt, courteous, professional, and fast. We are very glad we chose Plano Plumbing and the reroute option. Cant enough about Mario and his crew. Weve finally found a plumber we can rely on.

There was an angel on my shoulder when I was referred to Plano Plumbing & Leak Detection. I woke up New Years Eve Saturday to step into flooded carpeting. I called Jack and he came right out and immediately diagnosed the problem. Since it was a holiday, his team wasnt available until Monday, but he turned off the hot water to avoid additional damage. The flood was the result of broken pipes under my slab. Jack, Mario and his team rerouted the hot water lines through the attic and walls. This avoided digging up the slab and additional expense. Jack took the time to explain every step and he and his team were very professional and really took care to complete the job perfectly. I would highly recommend this company. Even my insurance agent commented what an outstanding job Jack did writing up the estimate for my claim.

We have had water leak in one of the water lines in our master restroom for several months. Two other plumbing companies came to check but could not find the leak location. Mario and Gerold came to our house on Monday and detected the leak within 30 minutes. Two days later they fixed the problem in few hours. They explained clearly what they will do and did minimum damage to the room/floor. Their repair charges is very reasonable as well. Very strongly recommend their services!

Plano Plumber was excellent. They were on time and did the service ahead of schedule. It was quick and efficient. They cleaned up and left our place immaculate. But the best thing was their creativity: The leak was under the slab but they came up with a solution to bypass that pipe and not break into the slab. My parents had previously used Plano Plumbing for their water heater and a slab leak and were very satisfied, so when my water heater broke it was a no brainer to call them. Even though they were very busy, because my parents were previous customers he got me in the next day (I called after 6pm so next day would be the absolute best I’d expect from anyone). He had me take pictures of my unit and text them to him so he knew what he was working with and would have the right parts with him when he came. Came, installed and left within an hour. Easy to work with and very pleased with my experience.

Recently I have noticed a hot water leak under the slab, and I submitted an online request to Plano Plumbing and Leak Detection based upon my research on local plumbers. Jack responded the next day as well as contacted me in the morning for scheduling an inspection. The initial detection and water leak repair estimate went well and quick. His crew came out after two days and the leak is fixed in the morning (reroute). I was quite impressed by Jacks knowledge, thoughtfulness, and effectiveness. My hose bib copper pipe split leaking water in the front of my house and called four different plumbing companies to try and schedule a repair so I could get my water turned back on, all four said it would be Wednesday or Thursday before they could get me on the schedule. This company was wonderful. I needed a pipe repaired that was underground. The guys came out the day after I called and had the pipe fixed very quickly. Called them to check out a potential leak on main feed line to home. They were very prompt in arriving and determined that the house water line was NOT leaking. Jack and his team came out to diagnose a house I was looking to purchase and found that the entire system was essentially failing. They worked with the sellers to resolve a solution and were able to effectively replace all of the existing cast iron plumbing with new schedule 40 PVC.The plumbing has actually been working so well, that it has caused the city main to clog from the great flow! Jack not only has offered to come and run a camera for free, but also said he will deal with the City directly to get the problem fixed at my new home.Service thus far has been immaculate, and I will post an update as soon as the outcome of the City negotiating takes place! On a Tuesday evening I heard a hissing noise in my wall near the floor. A few hours later we started to notice water seeping onto the floor. The dreaded water leak under the foundation. I shut the water off at the main valve and called Plano Plumbing early the next morning. They had another job that morning but got to me by noon and began to search for the leak with their special leak detection tools. The owner of the company and his crew seemed very experienced and knew exactly what to do. It was obvious they had many years of experience doing this type of work. I was also impressed on how their equipment could locate the leak, trace the entire pipe section under the slab and then know where the pipe is actually leaking below the slab. In a couple of hours they had rerouted the new pipe, above ground, through the walls and had the problem fixed. I prefered them rerouting the entire pipe section versus jackhammering the slab and replacing only a small section of pipe. If you do the repair under the slab you leave an big section of otherwise bad pipe that may soon begin to leak again. I couldnt sleep very well knowing there was a new patch in an old string of pipe that could spring a leak at anytime. Rerouting the entire section makes more sense in the long run and is also less expensive. Will not hesitate to call Plano Plumbing & Leak Detection in the future.

Jack and his guys were a true savior!!! I had water coming from under my baseboard in the dining room (luckily was home and caught it in time to shut the water off). Austin and Matthew came the following day and were able to locate the leak in my foundation within an hour. Two days later they came back along with Jack and were able to re-route my water pipes with 4 little holes in the wall (I was thinking that they were going to have to cut sheetrock like crazy). Along the way, they discovered another issue and stayed until the problem was completely taken care of. I had a gas leak and another Atoms Energy Authorized Gas Dealer claimed the whole line needed to be dug up and replaced. I had a water leak at my home in Plano recently. So I figured I would call a plumber and they would fix the problem for me. After the plumber investigated, I was told I had a leak under my foundation. I figured OK what do we do next? To my surprise, I was told I need a slab leak specialist that can detect the leak and then come up with a repair plan. So after talking to the plumber and getting more information, I called Plano Plumbing & Leak Detection. They seemed very knowledgeable and confident in their diagnosis and were pretty quick to identify the problem. They came out the next morning and repaired my leak. If you are unlucky enough to have this problem, I would call these guys to fix a slab leak.

We had a slab leak on Friday night, our first house and we didnt know what to make out of the water leaking from the foundation. We had the city switch the water line to our house for the night. I called Plano Plumbing on Saturday morning and Jack was at our house in 30 mins to do the leak detection. He came as a savior when needed and as an experienced leak detector, found the type of leak and provided suggestions on what will be needed. He offered us an estimate but also asked us to check around to compare. We were lucky that he had a slot available for Monday morning and we blocked that to fix our problem.The crew was at our house right at the time and setting up everything required. Jack suggested rerouting the hot water line, which was leaking, through the attic and walls. They were spot on with their work, rechecked the leak, verified that there are no other leaks, fixed the leak by rerouting the hot water line in few hours and voila, we finally had water to our house within 2 days.We are grateful for the excellent service and knowledge of the Plano Plumbing.
