Update 2/15/23 — Just had Dave out to install an outdoor floodlight on a dark side of our home and he did a great job. Dave is very professional and does the job right & he gives you all the info you need. He is always punctual and keeps you fully informed! Highest recommendation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Previous job - 8/7/2018 — Just had an excellent electrician (Dave & his helper) replace the electric main service box in our older Dormont home! What a GREAT job he did and at a really great price!Total professional all the way! I will tell anyone out there that EVER needs a GREAT electrician to look no further than Dave Simon (Simon Electric) from Greentree!

Fantastic,i found Simon electric by stroke of luck.I had power outage in 50% of house.He came withing 20 minutes...assessed the issue, helped with connecting extensions to run refrigerator and tv...Returnd 730 next morning with his employee and did repairI feel like hit jackpot with this contractorDave is great guy, explains in detail, and is fair reasonably priced.I need several other jobs I. The next 8 weeks and plan to call him....he is a pro and a rare find...LOVE THIS GUY!!..

I’ve called Simon Electric for two jobs now. Once to fix some issues found while selling my old house (install gfci outlets, fix unsafe connections in attic) and also recently to wire up a new electric water heater and car charging station in my new house.Dave replied to my voicemail within a day and scheduled to come to my house within a week to resolve my issues. He arrived a few minutes earlier than our scheduled time and he and his partner quickly got me fixed up. He’s a straight shooter as well which I appreciate when dealing with contractors. I now have a safely installed water heater and a 240 volt installed to charge an electric car.Will definitely call Simon Electric if I need electrical work done in the future.

Great customer service. I called about an issue we were having and they called right back and was able to get me scheduled so quickly. However the issue we had got resolved but have to say best customer service and definitely keeping them in my contacts for future projects or issues that come around.

Don’t think twice — call Dave and have him service your home. Absolute class, no gimmicks, and an expert electrician. I have used him multiple times, and he can do any type of electrical work under the sun that you may need. He is quick to respond, as well, which is great to have if you find yourself in a pinch.

Dave was very prompt with appointments I had with him -- first to review the work I needed, and then when he did the work. He evaluated the situation and offer his suggestions for how to adress my issues. He explained everything thoroughly and did a great job.

Smelled burning plastic coming from a kitchen outlet and feared a fire risk. Dave came right away despite the COVID-19 pandemic. He had an N95 mask and was careful to keep his distance and only touch what he had to. He was very polite and efficient. I plan to hire him again to install a light.
