    So HIlls Electric has been handling all of my electrical and HVAC needs from a whole house unit, 5-7-10 ton roof top units on commercial bldgs, maintenance contracts on boilers, HVAC and scheduled maintenance contracts. These guys are awesome, courteous and never EVER a butt crack. Have not had any issues and often when I do have an issue and I call, they give me a solution over the phone....mainly because they are familiar with my systems. I cant say enough for them and I refer them to other s often.

    Was very responsive when I called for service on our furnace. The furnace was acting up and not running correctly so called to see if they could come out the same day. Originally was suppose to come between 3pm and 5 pm but when Sven found out that I had turned the furnace off and that my mom was home by herself since I was at work, he called and said that he would be there shortly. So after 10 am he and a apprentice showed up and spent a hour trying to find the problem and finally fixed it but said that the heat exchanger might need to be replaced eventually. Thank you for such great service and was very nervous leaving my mom home with a furnace that wasnt working correctly.

    The service tech was very friendly, called me with a time frame of when he was going to arrive. I explained the problem, he quickly diagnosed the issue with the AC unit. Showed me the problem as well. He then checked to see if my unit was in warranty still, which it was, and then did the routine tune up. He said was fast, efficient and friendly. Would highly recommend.

    I’ve been using South Hills Electric since we moved into our house in 2013. They are professional and responsive: they show up in the window promised, they do their work quickly without leaving a mess, and they communicate clearly about the work they are doing. Over the years they’ve installed a new furnace, air conditioner, and water heater for me, and I’ve always been happy with the work and had no problems with anything they’ve installed. They aren’t cheap but they aren’t the most expensive out there, either, and I’m willing to pay a little more for reliability. Definitely recommend!

    When I called to book the gentleman who answered was so informative and upfront about cost. Then when Jake came out today he was so nice and knew quickly that it was Duquesne light who needed to replace our electrical box outside. He got them out to my house quickly and all our power was restored!I was a nervous wreck my house was going to catch on fire they reassured me to not use any appliances until they came the next morning. The man on the phone said “I would love to send someone out and take your money, but it is an easy fix and I will just help you over the phone”.     South Hills Electric LLC replaced my furnace in 2017. Today they checked out my AC system which is from 1994. He removed the delay switch, and the AC started working again. I have had to replace the capacitor a couple of times. It looks like for the moment that the AC system will keep working without a complete replacement. I found the service guy helpful and straightforward. I liked the service so much that I will make a service call in October for checking my furnace.

    We hired this company to fix a few things around the home we purchased recently. We were very pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of both of the employees that arrived. Not only did they complete the work they were hired to do, but they also went the extra mile and made sure we were able to utilize all of the space wed asked for and needed, making suggestions and using their expertise to adjust things just perfectly. In addition to all of that, when there was a bit of damage found, they purchased the items needed to fix it and did amazing work. They also left the space clean as a whistle!     My AC died. Sh Showed up and quoted for patch or replace outside compressor unit. I Went with replace of AC system. Old unit lasted 12 years so went with another 3 ton seer2 Goodman unit with a 10 year warranty. Took all day to install in a tight space. Price was reasonable and timing was within a day. Will use them again since it is hard to find good, responsive, and timely folks that get stuff done.

    Technician Stephane called to let us know he was 20 minutes away. He was friendly and professional. He put on shoe booties upon entering.I do have to add that a couple years ago I had a new furnace installed by ANOTHER company. When South Hills Electric came to do a clean and check the technician noticed the furnace was installed wrong. We called the company and they sent the owner to correct the installation. I am not sure I thanked South Hills Electric for catching that major error.

    Ive been using South Hills Electric for approximately 5 years now. My home in Brookline is now 60+ years old and has required major updates to electric system (new service), replacement of both furnace and ac system and smaller updates. Ive also added small things like deck ceiling fans. Each time, the service techs have showed up as promised, explained the issues to my satisfaction and performed their work quickly, quietly and professionally. After last weeks replacement of a 23 year old AC unit, I had a question about the new unit. I emailed the company and got a personal answer and thank you from owner Pat Cray within 5 minutes at 7pM at night! Have recommended to many of my friends. Unfortunately, this work ethic in not common anymore in this country. Great job, Pat.

So impressed, we got an estimate for a new thermostat, furnace and air conditioner, we decided to have the job started 2 days later. Matt, Stephan, and Jacob showed up discovering a bad hot water tank which they included into an already big job. They worked continuously, pleasant and informative, very professional.     Me and my fiancé bought a house and needed 3 sockets in our new home grounded and also we wanted to get a light installed at the top of the basement steps. Our electrician was Natalie and she was excellent. Donna handles the coordination of appointments and payment. Natalie was fast and cleaned up after herself, you couldnt even tell any work was done! Donna was always friendly on the phone and prompt to respond to my calls if she missed them.     Great experience with South Hills Electric for an air vent cleaning! The technicians called before they arrived and were right on time.     I recently purchased a home and had to get a home inspection done, they said everything was fine. I then had to get a Boro inspection done and they flagged numerous things with my electrical AFTER closing on the house. At this point I was in complete panic mode trying to figure out how I was going to afford to get this done. I reached out to South Hills Electric and I will never use another company! Jacob, Stephon and Dalton came out in the RAIN AND COLD on a Saturday and were still able to get done everything so that my panel would pass the inspection. They said they would be there at 8am, and pulled in my driveway at 7:59am. Very professional and explained everything to me throughly. I couldnt recommend South Hills Electric, more!!!

    I scheduled an appointment for South Hills Electric to troubleshoot why one of our breakers continued to be tripped. This had been an ongoing issue. Natalie (technician) was extremely knowledgeable and professional. She wore a mask (for COVID protection) and shoe covers while in the house. She asked several questions, considered a variety of factors, and then took action. She quickly fixed the issue (the solution was easier than I expected) and she also repaired one of our external outlets. It has been about a month and thankfully the issue has not returned. Highly recommend for professional service!

My elderly mother was at her home and developed an electrical issue that I could not figure out. Within two hours of my call, South Hills Electric sent an electrician who spent at least another 2 hours (and called in another electrician) trying to diagnose what appeared to be a simple fix but wasnt.Both electricians were courteous and professional and the charge was reasonable for the time spent diagnosing and repairing the problem that I had neither the time or tools to fix.     Purchased a Living Social deal for a furnace inspection and was blown away by the professionalism, friendliness, and honestly of our technician, Justin! He encouraged me to go through the inspection with him; before he checked anything he told me what would be a good finding and what would be a bad finding; he gave me several options for repair/replacement (we purchased the inspection deal because the unit was sometimes noisy so it does require work).     Been customer 6 years when South Hills Electric installed heating, ac unit. Started blowing fuses when tried using ac first time this summer. Made appointment for serve and tech Anthony came out and diagnosed problem after some testing parts on condenser. Turned out problem was wiring original installers took short cut splicing in old cloth sheathing wire from old unit with new wire during install. We were able to run new wire to condenser which took care of problem. Anthony was tremendous

    Had a furnace and air conditioner inspection on Monday June 25, 2018. I had an excellent experience from start to finish. My technician happened to be the service manager, Eric W. Very professional and clean-cut, he donned shoe covers after introducing himself and shaking hands. He demeanor was pleasant. He was polite but efficient. He explained His actions and observations and provided instructions for a variety of do-it-yourself maintenence including instructing me how to change the humidifier filter and where to find the model numbers in order to buy the the correct air and humidifier filters. He was very kind to my three year old daughter who pestered him relentlessly with questions. In my opinion he was very straightforward and I didn’t suspect that he made any attempts to upswell me, therefore I made arrangements for a follow up appointment for some minor, but necessary, work. I highly recommmend this company based on this experience and I hope everyone has the same good experience I enjoyed when you schedule with Southhills Electric.

    South Hills came out to sort the wiring in a 4 switch wall receptacle. From the previous house owners the wiring in there was a rats nest of wires, some of which didnt seems to work. The technician was able to test and logically identify each wire and make them functional and safe. He also troubleshot and fixed a faulty outside light. This is the second time we have used South Hills and they do a great job.

    Replaced a faulty outdoor GFI plug/weather cover and diagnosed a low voltage landscaping light.Jake was humble, good listener, and knew his work.
