I would give 10 stars if I could. The guys came out a month ago as I needed a new outlet installed for a new dryer hookup. That job was pretty simple and straight forward and they did it with ease. During that, it was noticed that the electrical panel showed some aging and burning. The guys suggested a full replacement. They said it does not have to be done now, but keep an eye on it. There was NO pressure to do the work. I called a week or so later and scheduled the work to be done. They came out AS SCHEDULED, did the work to replace the panel and explained EVERYTHING they did. They asked if I had any questions, which I did and they answered. They reset the timers and sensors for the outdoor lighting, they cleaned up and were on their way. These guys are timely, kind, efficient, and do FANTASTIC work. They respond to emails and calls and keep you in the loop each step of the way. Its a pleasure to find someone in this day and age that has those traits in business. I will never call another electrician for ANY work that needs done other than these guys. Incredibly friendly staff from the office to the electricians. Communication was great and the electricians were prompt and respectful of the fact that I was working from home while the work was being done. I had to have a minor adjustment done to one of my new pendant lights because the wire stretched-out after install and was lower than the others. That was done quickly and at no additional charge.I feel the price was fair and reasonable and will certainly use Baby Bird in the future. I highly recommend.

We hired Baby Bird electric to switch out a few standard builder grade light fixtures with several new ones purchased, install 2 nest thermostats and install 3 smart switches. DJ arrived on time and worked very quickly. He answered all my questions and was ver courteous. Baby Bird will be our regular electrician.Update: we had a 4ft x 4ft orb chandelier installed by Rick and team and they did an amazing job. They set up scaffolding for this project since the chandelier was to be hung in the second story great room. We were thrilled with the work and finished product. Thanks again!!!

Baby Bird Electric is terrific family owned business! They have done everything for us from minor repairs and installations all the way up to full panel and subpanel replacements. Rick and his crew replaced our panels in about a half a day while coordinating efforts with both our service provider and code inspector. During the code inspection, the inspector advised me unsolicited that your electrician did an excellent job. We have an older home and Rick and his team have always been there to provide excellent service at very fair pricing. You never have to worry if you are getting great service or more importantly getting ripped off- not with Baby Bird. Rick and his crew are efficient, friendly and will be respectful of your time (and wallet). I will never call another company for electric service and i recommend them to anyone who asks.

This is not the first time I have used Baby Bird and I will be calling them again when we move to our new house in a few weeks! When the inspection report came back for our current house indicating that we needed to have an outlet fixed, I didn’t even need to think about which electrician I would call. They came out the next day and fixed the issue immediately. And while I was talking about moving out I mentioned that we needed to get our sump pump fixed. Rick didn’t miss a beat offering to take a look at it for us. I had no idea that the problem was as simple as it just needing to be plugged in. Baby bird saved us so much time and money because now we don’t need to hire a plumber. Baby Bird is the most honest and reliable company I have ever worked with and I look forward to using them again for our new house. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

I had a great experience with Baby Bird electric last fall. We have a small, older house that has had small renovations over the decades. We wanted to replace some old light fixtures with new ones that would add to the efficiency and comfort of our home.Rick, the electrician, had an immediate appreciation for our house and made preserving its old-fashioned workmanship a top priority. I received pricing from multiple contractors to upgrade my electrical panel. All were competitive but I chose baby bird on cost and because they included their certificate of insurance with their bid. Very friendly and easy to work with. They were concise on what they were going to do and I never got the impression that there were hidden costs anywhere. (that i got the impression from other contractors).They showed up as expected and were thoughtful and entertaining, Paul was a really great and knowledgeable electrician. They cleaned up after themselves and I couldn’t be happier with their work. When I have additional needs for an electrician there is no doubt I will return to baby bird!Thank you for the hard work, honest pricing and being general good human beings. It’s a shame that seems rare nowadays.

We had a fire and didnt have a choice of the electrician used for that. We wanted to upgrade a panel, Babybird answered me same day and was able to come out the next day for an estimate. Rick explained everything. Very happily they were able to come out within days for the job. I ran into an issue the next day and called Babybird, again they responded within 20 minutes and had someone out within 2 hours. The issue was NOT on them, they found an issue from previous elctrician. Rick and DJ were so nice, they explained everything multiple times. I finally feel confident in our electric service, and I will definitely recommend them and call them for my electric needs in the future. Very very pleased with professionalism and quality of work.

Baby Bird fully rewired our home, removing and replacing all the knob and tube here, and they got everything inspected and approved by the municipality, so were all up to code. Not only did this increase the market value of our home, but more importantly, we feel so much safer. That peace of mind is hard to put a price tag on. We no longer wonder if weve got our kids living in a death trap! In fact, the guys uncovered some singed wires in our kitchen ceiling below our bathtub from who knows when, so I feel pretty grateful that there were no fires or accidents prior to their replacing all the old stuff. Everyone there was friendly, communicative, and responsive from our initial inquiry through to the end of the project. There were daily check-ins confirming that we were all on the same page and making sure all our questions were answered. In addition to feeling safer we also have noted how convenient its been to have more outlets, lights, and fans, both inside and outside the house. They moved our internet hookup to a more central location in the house for us. They were on time or a little early every morning. In our case, they had availability for our project pretty soon after our initial inquiry. The owner prioritizes thorough daily clean up of the spaces they work on and a professionalism in his crew that you dont find everywhere. As such, we have since called them again for a small project, and we will likely always call them for our future electric work down the road. We had a tree fall just short of our front door but it pulled the weatherhead off the house. Duquesne light came and turned out power off due to the downed line- they told us we needed an electrician to hang it and get it inspected prior to turning service back on.Baby Bird came within the hour and the repair was done swift and efficiently. They gave us a reasonable price and there was no charge for the estimate. Thanks to them, we have power now, less than 6 hrs later- much better than having to wait a couple days like the other electricians we had called said- we learned that emergency service/ same day service does NOT necessarily mean same day.Thanks for your help Baby Bird Electric!!!

Had an unusual problem with a cable ground wire. DJ wouldnt give up until he figured it out. Gave us 2 scenarios on fixing the issue. One being the low end and one being the high end. Its an old house, but Baby Bird quickly found the most efficient and attractive way to get the job done. Baby Bird also completely overhauled the lighting, outlets and conduit in our utility room. I had some home renovations underway when we discovered some old Knob and Tube that was never removed from the home. since the floor was exposed, now was the time to take care of it. I contacted several electricians but they were unable to come out with in the next week or so. Baby Bird was the only one that could help me in a reasonable amount of time such that our contractor did not fall behind on the renovations. Rick was extremely pleasant to work with. You can tell he cares about his reputation and making sure he does quality work.While Rick was working he incidentally discovered an issue with our main service line and brought it to my attention. It was not causing any issues now, but it could have in the future. He quoted me for the repairs and we scheduled that for a later date. Rick was able to replace the service line quickly with minimal downtime to the home.My only issue was after the Knob and Tube was removed, I noticed that some outlets that were supposed to be working were not... My background is electrical technology so I was able to quickly diagnose that they made a mistake while doing the work. I contacted them on Sunday and explained the situation. I was somewhat agitated because this was a really really basic error (this is the reason I cannot give 5 stars). To my surprise Rick was back at my house within 2 hours to correct the problem. This could have easily waited until Monday, but Rick felt very strongly this error should be corrected ASAP because it should have never happened. I really appreciate that dedication and for that reason alone I would absolutely recommend these guys for any of your electrical needs.

We used Baby Bird Electric to do all of the electrical work associated with installing a new swimming pool. This included trenching wire, installing a circuit panel, wiring a pump and heater, and wiring switches for pool lighting and for an automatic cover.We could not be more pleased with their work. Each member of the team, including the office personnel, are professional, friendly, responsive, and prompt. The crew was on time and was where they said they were going to be. The office staff responded to inquiries quickly and accurately.The work itself was impeccable. All of the wiring is clean and professional, and tied up nicely. The guys stopped their work and answered as many questions as I had. They worked in the heat and the rain just to get the job done when they said it would be done.They also went the extra mile at every opportunity. For instance, they made special trips to the house to be there when the building inspector was there, just to facilitate the inspection and to be there if the inspector had any questions. Babybird completed a full rewire of our home, switching from aluminum to all new copper. It was a difficult and invasive job, but I was extremely impressed at both the quality of the work and the respect with which they treated our home. Rick walked us through exactly what his crew would do, and was happy to work with us if we expressed any discomfort or needed to make changes. We were living in the home at the time, so they took extra care to keep the place as clean as possible and make sure that we were comfortable. Ive already called them back to install some new kitchen can lights, and would certainly use them in the future.

I had an issue with my wired Ring doorbell. The transformer was old and only 5v so it wouldn’t work. Saw that Baby Bird Electric was highly recommended on Nextdoor with great reviews. Two technicians came, they were early, very polite, very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and the price was fair. They had the job done within a half hour! I highly recommend them!
