Marc is awesome! We had a problem with our electric and he managed to replace our service entrance wiring and electric panel all within the same day. It took him the entire day to do, but the craftsmanship and result was great. He is an extremely knowledgeable guy, and I would definitely call him up again if there’s any electrical problem. Marc and his team, principally Brian (19 year employee) willingly go the extra mile toefficiently, competently, neatly and politely complete our residential electrical jobs including stateof the art LED lighting and projects that involve technology advances. Marc and his team have done the electrical work for several projects in our home. First, they roughed in all components of our basement project, which started as an unfinished concrete slab. That included fluorescent, sconce and step lights. A couple of years later they returned to participate in the project to renovate our third floor, including removing old romex wiring, installing new recessed lighting, new receptacles and, as part of a bathroom renovation, a heated floor, vented fan and lighting. I also got their help wiring electrical for flat screen televisions. I was impressed with their workmanship and appreciated their sensitivity to our project schedule each time. I recommend Mendelson Electric without hesitation for jobs done right -- the first time.

We have worked with Mendelson Electric for nearly 20 years through the substantial remodeling of 4 older houses. These houses ranged from a 4 bedroom home near Schenley Park to a 6 bedroom home, with barn/kennel and guest house on 30 acres. What I love about these guys is that they treat the safety of my home the same as they would their own homes. When there is an issue in which I must make a decision (and there invariably is in remodels of older homes), we talk it over to arrive at the correct decision for me and my family. We recently replaced a 2nd very large electrical panel in a house built 25 years ago. The original contractor incorrectly wired the panel with multiple wires of different sizes on the same connection which is an obvious safety hazard. We were pleased with the project. Similarly, to control electric costs, I have installed/converted/upgraded all my lighting/wiring in the house and guest house and barn/kennel, including a 1/4 mile driveway. The barn lighting was 30 feet in the air, all exterior and barn lighting is timer controlled with a commercial back-up generator --- so we are not talking about small, simple projects like installing a new light fixture, which they can also do. Most recently they helped me with the wiring of a recreation room in my basement, an office over my garage, and two bathroom remodels. I have found their work ethic and quality over the two decades to be superior to other electricians I have hired for similar projects in other areas of the country. In my 20 year experience, Mendelson Electric is an excellent value.

Ive been using Mendelson Electric for the part nine years, and have always found them both skilled and friendly. Tasks they have done for us include rewiring three rooms and installing recessed lighting, plus smaller tasks such as installing a power outlet on our deck.

Total rewire of our house. Clean, professional work. Sometimes hard to get a hold of, but went out of his way many times to come by late or on the weekend to catch up. Called me often during the work to confirm specifics of how we wanted switches wired and located.
