Katie was super nice and easy to work with. We had to reschedule our first appointment due to a last minute illness. The process was super easy and no cancellation fee 🙂. The gentleman that came to service our house (I think ones name was Mike) were super nice and worked efficiently. Their rates are great and dont make you feel like youre being ripped off. I will definitely recommend to anyone who needs an electrician.

Will was very knowledgeable, approachable & friendly. The job of replacing a 1980s 50 cfm broken existing bathroom exhaust fan wasnt as straight forward as one would think. Install space was small (8 or 9 I think). The bathrm required a stronger exhaust fan to clear moisture due to the shower. Will explained the old fan was installed right up against a joyce on one side & approx 1 from a joyce on the other side. Not much room to fit the required larger powered exhaust fan. Will did the research and was able to find and install a 90 cfm Panasonic exhaust fan.I am very grateful to Will for his professionalism, level of expertise, his relateabilty to me, and his willingness to go that extra mile and not just install another 50 cfm fan (which wasnt preventing moisture build up) to finish the job and move on to another customer. It took awhile to find & finish my job but, I totally understand that.Im VERY pleased with the new fan! Its so much quieter than the old one. I havent used it yet but, Im hoping & sure Ill be able to see the difference with the new exhaust fan.The pricing is what I expected and may have been a little lower.I highly recommend King Electric if you are in need of honest, professional, and reliable products & electrical Service.I was also VERY impressed & pleased with Katie who was my customer service representative point of contact for scheduling & any questions I had. She too was very easy to speak with and understand. She took care of any concerns and questions I had. She took my calls and returned calls promptly when required.Note: Josh & Brendon also helped with the installation and they mastered my 30 plus steps (carrying equipment) to my house on a cold winters morning! King did our whole house electric and we couldnt be happier. They stand behind their work. Were new homeowners and have had them back out to help us understand a few things several times. They have never billed us for these house calls and are happy to talk through things with us. Recently we had them install a few ceiling fans and they did 3 fans in about 4 hours. We have lathe and plaster ceilings. Some of the people who have done work for us have been better at clean up than others (being kind here lol). King is very thorough, including when cleaning up. It might sound like a small thing but cleaning plaster dust is no joke, it gets everywhere. All that is to say that King is through from start to finish. Weve never had to clean up after them and really appreciate it.

King Electric was absolutely phenomenal, specifically Joe and Katie, and I will never use any other electrician other than them. I had an emergency electrical situation and King Electric was the only company that answered their phone and sent someone out to assess the damage same day (within 30 minutes). They were extremely responsive with phone calls/emails and discussed all the damages to me during the assessment. They made it feel like they truly cared about the situation and I felt comfortable with them throughout my time working with them. I highly recommend King Electric for any electrical work that is needed!

Original review:Positives: The electrician came when he said he would, was professional, and fixed the problem which turned out to be a very simple one of me using non-dimmable bulbs in a fixture with a dimmer switch. Negative: When I called to make the appointment, I asked if there was a service fee to come out and take a look. The person on the phone told me there was no service fee and that the electrician would give me a price once they get here, before they fix the problem. What actually happened was they put in the new bulbs and then told me that the minimum fee was $195.00, which honestly is waaaay overpriced for simply putting in a couple new bulbs. If they had told me on the phone that there was a minimum fee no matter what they fix and that the fee is $195.00, I would have shopped around for a more reasonable price. I feel I was misled by the person who made the appointment. So just bear in mind that if they do anything at all besides just give you an estimate, the fee will be $195.00 minimum no matter what.Update (two days later). Justin from King Electric called me after seeing my Google review and let me know that the electrician did not follow the proper procedure because he did the work first and then told me the fee after the fact. He was happy to refund a substantial amount of what I paid, and he shared that the electrician has been retrained on the proper procedure. So I updated my review to four stars. I appreciate that King was willing to work with me, and I will now consider using them again for future electricity needs. (They didnt ask me to update the review. I just thought it was the right thing to do).

After storms knocked out the power to a good portion of the area, it was very hard to find someone who could come out to repair the damaged line outside our home so that we could get hooked back up to power. Most people werent able to come for days. King came out that evening, repaired the damage, updated our breaker panel and hooked us back up. They explained the process throughout and were very helpful.

We hired King Electric to install recessed lights and a fan light in our new house. They were great! Someone came out to our house and gave us a quote for the work we wanted to get done. After we approved the work, we scheduled a day to start. They were very good about communication and called, sent emails, and text reminders throughout. Will and Josh came out and they were very efficient and able to finish all the work in one day. They were also really great about cleaning up after, which I appreciated. Overall, I had a really excellent experience and will definitely use them again for other electrician needs!

Compared to other companies they offered the best price and the quickest time from quote to actual appointment for installation. They were also the most thorough company during their inspection for the quote - they were the only ones to check certain areas of the house for issues as well as take multiple pictures. King performed a partial re-wire of my house. This was a big job with several challenging components. The house is from the mid-1800s and had lots of decorative plaster work that had to be cared for. The house was built before electricity and is difficult to work in. King handled the basic plaster repairs as well which most electricians wont do. This saved me a good bit of time and money. Im happy to hire them again for future jobs.

The electricians then spent seven total days at our home doing alllll of the work while doing as little damage to our walls as possible. They were kind, they were prompt, they were thorough, and they taught me so much! My not yet two year old was excited to see them every day because they were so sweet to her, and even several days after they left, she continued to talk about “Mister Mike & Miss Anna fixing our lights. Soooo pretty!” This is not only my new forever electric service, but this was truly the most wonderful home improvement experience we’ve ever had (and we’ve had a a lot!).

Contacted King Electric for an estimate on a project. The roofer did not properly install an attic fan, so I needed the fan to be re-wired. I also wanted some outdoor outlets updated. The owner of King Electric was quick to respond with an estimate. They were one of several locations I contacted for this project. They were knowledgeable, professional and their prices could not be beat (well, from the list I contacted). They even came back out to the house for an issue I was having with a problem switch- the technicians diagnosed the problem immediately, and had the repair done in no time. They arrived promptly, were extremely courteous and explained the process along with some options on another project we inquired about.
