We had can lights installed and drywall repair from the old light. The electricians were professional and did the job with very little mess. they finished in about 2 hours, so I called Austin to see if he could get someone out to do the drywall repair. He mentioned that all of the technicians were scheduled on other jobs, but I had one for the next day scheduled. He called back a little later and said one of the guys was free and could come by to do the repair. Our project was finished by the afternoon and it looks fabulous. We are very pleased with the work and will definitely call them for future projects.

We just finished a major bathroom remodel with TWD and we couldnt be more pleased. First, they do great work. From design to installation, they delivered on every level. Second, they did everything they said they would. I hear so many people complain about contractors who dont show up or live up to their word. TWD constantly kept us updated on when their craftsmen would be on site. If there was a delay, they let us know; even if it was just an hour or two. Finally, they made sure we were happy with everything. We had a complicated demolition and they made sure it all went smoothly. At the end of the job there are always a few details that need touching up. They didnt flinch at when it came to making sure everything was just right. Since our bathroom was right next to master bedroom, they worked hard to keep the mess to a minimum (realizing theres always a mess!). I wouldnt hestitate to recommend them to my friends or family so Im absolutely recommending them to you!

We had 3 large missing areas of drywall in our home & garage after restoration work due to a leaking AC unit. This was our first time using TWD & we picked them because of the rave reviews here. From the estimation process through the actual work, they were by far one of the best contractors we have ever dealt with. Beto & Miguel did an amazing job!The texture matches perfectly & they were super friendly & courteous when it same to house prep & clean up, leaving no trace behind! All too often contractor miss the courteous & cleanup part, so this was a breath of fresh air. And often times contractors will slack in areas less traveled (like our garage, which TWD did not disappoint).Their cost was also reasonable (not the cheapest but not the most expensive) & they accept credit cards with no additional fees through an accredited construction platform. 5 stars here from homeowners & landlords of 8 other properties. I have worked with lots of other drywall contractors, & this was by far our best experience!

Absolutely the best experience Ive ever had dealing with a contractor. Todd came out asked many appropriate questions to help with my wants to create a doorway for a barn door. His crew called before the job started, were quiet and just worked. They kept me informed of the progress and roughly when they would be arriving each day. They cleaned up the work area when they were complete and called after the job to validate everything was completed as expected. The workmanship was impeccable, we have flat untextured walls and you cannot tell any work was ever done (absolutely amazing). In one room they had to cut a custom baseboard and matched the existing baseboard exactly. Truly craftsman work. Will call them again, should I ever need any drywall work!

First off, I have to apologize for this review being so late in coming, but you know ... life. We first contacted TWD in the Summer of 22. We had combed reviews and asked around for months on end before contacting them. We were disappointed to find out they were booked, but they took our information for a later contact. They contacted us in January of 23 asking if we still needed assistance with our remodel. Thankfully we waited ... this was a huge project requiring not just a total kitchen redo, but demolishing an Arizona room and adding it on as an addition to be used as an office. Their resident designer Audra Lamb walked in shortly after and we were on our way. I am someone who has questions, a LOT of them, but she had answers before I could even ask. She knew exactly what needed to be done, and after a couple of trips to the design center we were on our way. We knew it would be messy, but we were dealing with a late 1970s kitchen so we were prepared. Long story short we ended up with with an absolutely gorgeous kitchen with a beautiful addition to the house. The staff was all respectful and went out of their way to make it as least inconvenient as possible. We only ran into a couple of hitches along the way, but didnt have anything to do with TWD. Project Mgrs. stop by almost daily to check progress and see if there are any issues. If you need to deal with highly reputable individuals and know theyll be there tomorrow, then these are your guys and gals !!

From the start of the design phase with Tiffany to the final results, they again showed how it is to work with a top notch company. Dmitriy was very thorough, listened to us and designed our niche wall exactly as we wanted it. He also was extremely helpful when it came time to pick out our cabinets, hardware, and stone. The construction phase went very well. Our project manager, Tony, was amazing. He communicated with us daily, providing updates on every steps of the project. This put us at ease. We loved the construction project application that they use to track progress and to share updates and pictures. The contractors that completed the work arrived on time and completed a quality job. We would highly recommend TWD and plan to use them for future renovations.

We hired TWD to remodel an entertainment center wall. From the very beginning, the experience was great. The communication was excellent, the design process was easy and a design was created that fit our needs and style. The quote was quite reasonable, and they gave us a calendar and schedule for construction, and stuck to it! They did every task on the day they scheduled, kept the rest of the house clean and neat and did a great jog of cleaning up when they were done. The finished product is fantastic, matched the design, and they were even able to incorporate mid-construction changes with no hassle. Everything was done right, from the first contact, constant communication, construction, cleanup, attention to detail and finished remodel. Highly recommended.

From the moment we contacted them the office staff stayed in communication with me throughout the entire process, I was never wondering what the next step was. Once he was done you couldnt tell he was even there or that we had any work done. TWD did an awesome job from the design, budget and construction of my remodel. My home was built in 1980 and was in need of updating which meant a few walls had to be removed and both bathrooms and kitchen needed to be torn out and replaced. Ron was my designer and he was spot on from the first time I had spoken with him. Other contractors I had interviewed were not as forthcoming in the beginning to help me calculate the basic costs of what I wanted to do but Ron gave me estimated costs as we went through the house on his first visit which helped me greatly. Ron also came up with 2 ideas that solved issues with my house layout. The planning phase was an in depth review of every piece of everything that had to be worked on and the scope of work was detailed in writing for us both to agree on the work that was to be done. I appreciated the detailed description that I was working with and it also made sure that they completed all aspects of the job. My job took about 12 weeks and through out I was kept informed and was able to see progress through their web site system which included photographs of the tear down and reconstruction. We did make a couple of changes which were handled effectively and when the work was done, they made sure every small detail was made satisfactory to me. Good job TWD....I have gotten so many compliments from the neighbors who watched and heard the construction over a 12 week period.....My house is now up to date and I love it.

I cant say enough good things about our experience with TWD. We hired them as our contractor for two guest bathroom remodels and a few other things that needed to be fixed in the house as well. I have had some terrible experiences with contractors before so even though I wanted to get the work done, I was extremely nervous about dealing with yet another general contractor. I had some personal recommendations, however, from friends and family who’d had great work done by TWD so I went ahead and scheduled an appointment with them to discuss the jobs.My first contact was with Ron LaBrie, who is the Design Manager at TWD. Ron came to my home to look at the spaces and to get a feeling for what I wanted in terms of design so that he could prepare an estimate. From the very beginning, I felt extremely comfortable with Ron. He was personable and obviously very knowledgeable about products as well as a design expert. Unlike one of the other companies that I received an estimate from where they gave me a price on the spot, Ron did tell me he would need about a week, and that was fine with me because that showed that he was actually putting effort into the estimate and not just giving me a “blanket quote.” When I got the estimate back, I thought it was very fair, however there were a few places where I wanted to see if we could trim costs a bit. Everything was itemized and Ron was AMAZING at helping me find fantastic alternatives that would still look great while keeping us within our budget.Once work started on my jobs, Eric Miller was in regular contact with me to let me know exactly what the schedule was and what I could expect at each stage of the project. TWD even has an online portal where you can log in and see the calendar as well as approve any work orders. Speaking of which, the only changes from the original estimate were extra things that I added on after work started. There were no surprises in terms of extra costs. What I was quoted was exactly what it cost. There were a few small delays due to materials issues but that was beyond TWD’s control and Eric went out of his way to make sure everything arrived as quickly as possible and even had some new tile ordered at no additional cost to me because he didn’t think the quality of what the manufacturer sent was up to the high standards you can expect from TWD.We had drywall, plumbing, tile work, painting, electrical and granite work done and every one of TWD’s guys did beautiful work. The team was here every day on time and cleaned up each day before they left. Again, Eric was fantastic in that he stopped by to personally inspect the work on a regular basis as it was progressing and then again at the end of the job to make sure I was 100% satisfied with all the work that had been completed.We can’t praise TWD enough. They not only did a beautiful job on our remodeling projects, but they made us feel like we could trust them completely. And we never heard “no.” It was only, “We’ll take care of it!” And they did. We will never need to look any further than TWD for any projects we may need done in the future. They do everything from minor drywall repairs to complete home remodels. No matter how big or small the job, you can be assured that TWD will do it beautifully, on time, and at a very competitive price. We would highly recommend TWD to anyone!

February 2020As my girlfriend and I were planning to move in together, we decided on a full remodel of my 25-year-old home. We researched contractors throughout the greater Phoenix area. Initial factors which led to our decision to hire TWD included being a Certified Partner of Rosie on the House, the overall independent reviews and the preliminary information on their website outlining their process including their on-line project management tool.Working with Ron Labrie through the design phase was a pleasure. He ensured all details were addressed. From his extensive experience, he quickly assessed our preferences and overall style and provided suggestions which helped us narrow the multitude of decisions to be made. He is also familiar with the newest products and design trends but balances that with timeless recommendations that will stand the test of time. Ron also recommended design features that we would never have thought to include. His detailed plans provided an assurance that all the details were addressed and provided the needed information for HOA-related changes. His humor and “tell it like it is” approach was greatly appreciated and resulted in a fabulous finished project.The project began with a job meeting at our home. Expecting to meet with the project manager and designer, I was pleasantly surprised when each of those responsible for major parts (electrical, plumbing, flooring, cabinets, etc.) of the remodeling also attended and reviewed each of the steps of the project which allowed us to catch any last-minute changes. This reduced the need for change orders during the project. An online job calendar which was updated daily with photos of each step completed was available throughout the process.Our project manager, Austin, was in constant communication checking in on each step to ensure any major decision points during the process were correct. He was responsive to our questions and any change inquiries had. And, Austin was excellent in spotting and changing any work that was not up to their standard.Despite moving out during the complete remodeling, we never felt out of the loop and we can say that the overall experience was not only exciting but also a pleasure. TWD helps take the complexity out of a remodeling project. The work was completed right on schedule. Without a doubt, we would recommend TWD for any of your remodeling needs. I would like to take this opportunity to thank TWD (Todd Whittaker Drywall, Inc) for another great job completed. They updated two bathrooms for me right before Christmas. Another job completed on time with the best craftsmanship, by the best craftsman and woman around.The job was started by tearing everything out and betting everything ready for all of the new things. Isidro Ramirez and crew arrived on time and got right to work, laying down several layers of protective material on the floors. Usually this is the most dreaded part of any major rehab job. They were quick, quiet and clean. When they left after every day’s work, the work areas were all cleaned up. This was true throughout the whole job. Then it was time to frame out what was needed to be framed and install new fans, etc. Felix Farias was there. Got all of the work done early and went on to take the time to show me what he had done and how things were going to go back together. Then came the dry wall work, painting, tile and trim work.Maria Garcia can get the dry wall up, finished and painted faster than anyone I have ever seen. Jaime Reyes and Salvador Celiz were great, paying attention to detail all the way through.Again, great craftsmen.Cohaco Building Specialties provided and installed all the glass and mirrors for the job. They arrived on time and got all of their work done on time and left the work sites just as clean as when they arrived.The tub/shower walls were supplied by Patrician Marble Co. A couple adjustments had to be made to the shower walls which were taken care of quickly and with the highest level of attention to detail.The counter tops and cabinets were installed by USP Granite LLC and Oak Tree Cabinets. Both companies did great work and are highly recommended.All of the plumbing work was done by Bebee Plumbing. They came in and did all of the plumbing install in one day. While they were there, my water heater went out. Someone was sent out to check and see if it could be fixed. The unit had to be replaced. Bebee Plumbing sent someone out with a new unit that evening and changed out everything and I had hot water. You can’t ask for better service than that.I would also like to give a special shout out to Donn Milton who through all of his hard work and perseverance, always keeping an eye on the schedule, kept things going. Like a well-oiled machine!He knew how long each phase was going to take and had the next crew prepped and ready to go. All material was staged and ready to go, and there were no hold ups at all waiting on things that were needed to complete the project to arrive. He kept in constant contact with me via phone, text and email making sure everything was going well and letting me know what was going on and any updates to the schedule. A job well done!I can not say enough about how grateful I am to TWD for the great work they have done at my house over the many years and many projects they have completed for me. They have worked in my home both when I was there and when I was gone. I trust them completely! All of their workers are of the highest standards and trust worthiness.

They did a great job with the work, matched paint very close to the other (not easy to do) and cleaned up after their work. They went above and beyond and actually did a little more repair/patch job than originally talked about and did not increase the agreed upon price. Even without that, I am very pleased with their work.

We had an AAAAA++++ experience with Todd Whittaker Drywall (TWD)!! It was a pleasure working with them.Our project consisted of installing some additional built-in cabinets along the exterior wall of our dining room, which is located adjacent to our kitchen. The new cabinets and granite countertop were a perfect match to the existing (adjacent) kitchen cabinets/countertop and look as though they have been there forever.There was a seamless coordination with the various tradesmen that it took to complete our project. The workers showed up right at the scheduled appointment time; paid close attention to detail; were very polite and pleasant; and left the project area as clean or cleaner than when they arrived.We would highly recommend TWD to anyone needing and/or looking for a GREAT company to work on their project. If we ever decide to remodel any portion of our home again, we would not hesitate to call TWD.

Ron LaBrie, who was our designer for our kitchen, stepped up again and did a beautiful bathtub area design with tile and special niches for soaps and hair needs. All of their people from demo to clean up were great. We were totally pleased with the job done.

TWD really got me out of a jam when an inspector discovered a damaged attic truss in my condo attic. Facing a short turnaround time to sell my condo, I searched the Internet to find an available repair company licensed to do residential structural repairs. TWD responded to my request and understood my short timeframe. Within a few days they had inspected all of the trusses, taken several photos, and given me a plan for repair. They set me up with their online project site where I could track their progress and download photos. All contacts by phone and in person were friendly and professional.A few days later the repairman came over. He covered the floor and walls surrounding the attic entrance. While making the repairs, he photographed each step, and was done and gone within an hour.I forwarded the photos and the project contract and receipt to my realtor, putting to rest any concerns the buyer might have.In summary, this was a simple job costing me less than $400. Yet TWD treated me as if I was a long-time customer. I will certainly call them for remodeling work on my new home. I highly recommend their services.

We have a beautiful kitchen! We had very friendly and competent administrative staff and contractors. It became evident early on that their desire to have a satisfied customer was not only verbal but in action. As in most construction there are hitchups along the way, but big or small they were quick to make it right.The renovation was a little above our budget, but we are really happy! You get what you pay for. The peace of mind of having responsible and trustworthy workers throughout the project made it all worth it!Our remodel consisted of tearing out all existent (35 year old) cabinetry and “ceiling of lights” in the kitchen, installing new cabinetry, granite countertops and sink, tile backsplash, new dishwasher, disposal, and sink fixtures and recessed lighting and drywall repair. Scheduling for workers was done in an organized manner and an online calendar assessable to all interested parties was maintained with new updates when necessary. Everything was done in a timely manner, with an open line of communication from start to finish. We love the staff and all the contractors associated with TWD. Keep up the great work!

Very, very impressed by TWDs commitment to customer service!TWD was hired in 2011 by Pulte Homes to paint the exterior & touch up the interior of many homes in my neighborhood (WestWing Mountain in far N. Peoria) after some issues with water seepage were found around windows and a major re-stuccoing was required. They did excellent work and were always friendly, prompt and respectful. But that is not what led me to post this review.In September of 2014, almost 3 years after their work was finished, I found myself in a bit of a jam. I needed to do some minor touch ups to my interior walls, and unfortunately the paint can theyd originally left me for this purpose upon completing their work in 2011 had been accidentally discarded. I remembered TWD had left me a note with some specifics about the paint they used, but unfortunately HD, Lowes & Sherwin-Williams werent able to make sense of it. So I called Pulte directly, and they looked up my address and gave me the specs for the paint color they had listed as the standard paint color for my home. After having Home Depot mix up a batch, it was clear that my home had a custom paint job, as the shade Pulte gave me was very noticeably lighter.On a whim, I called TWD and was put in touch with Kevin, who could not have been kinder or more helpful. After doing some research, he told me of a infrequently used color choice Pulte may have used on my house, and told me he would call back and let me know if he could get me some details on it. When he called back, not only did he give me the paint name & information (which Pulte themselves could not provide), to my surprise he insisted that he would have a quart of it mixed up for me and have someone drop it off at my door the very next day, free of charge. Needless to say, he followed through with this, and the paint matched perfectly. When I told him how impressed I was that he went so above and beyond (I had really just wanted the paint info so I could go buy it myself), he told me thats just the way they like to do business and he sounded genuinely happy that he was able to help.Without hesitation, I recommend TWD for your drywall & painting needs. Not only do they do great work, where else are you going to find a company that would go out of their way to proactively deliver a free can of paint to a house out on the far edge of town 3 years after a job is done, just to make a boneheaded homeowner like me happy?

Having observed TWD during their painting operation of the Sun City Grand Administration buildings, I requested a bid from them to repair and paint the exterior of a local church sanctuary building including several other amenities on the premises. They not only were they low bid but were available to meet our schedule and work around the church services. They cleaned up the premises daily before leaving at the end of their work day. The daily workers and superintendent were very professional and were eager to provide extra touch up work in order to try and blend in areas of poor stucco work previously done by others. this was done at no extra cost. They insisted that we do multiple walk throughs so that they could address any concerns we might have missed. I will recommend them again for any future repair and painting work.

TWD once again did a fantastic with our room remodel. Back in February they did a wonderful job remodeling our kitchen. This time it was our master bath. It was transformed from a shower/tub side by side to a beautiful walk in shower along with new floor and wall tile and new vanity top with two mirrored wall cabinets. Our designer, Ron LaBrie did a wonderful job again in picking all the items. We had the same oversight manager, Ralph Campa and he was available when needed which was rare as their people did a great job. I wish I could remember the names of those involved. I just want them all to know that we love how well they did their work. Everyone was professional and courteous. They even didn’t mind being supervised by our two boxers - Jake and Bailey. TWD provided a couple of solutions for cracked ceilings in our house. One was a less expensive repair but might not solve the problem of preventing further cracks. We choose the more expensive approach that would prevent future cracks. The work was very high quality and the workers did an excellent job of protecting floors and large furniture from dust. I was very impressed with their approach from the initial review and picture taking to the on line posting of the work so I could review the job. I found the entire organization to be very professional. I would recommend anyone looking for a drywall repair or remodeling work to visit their show room and obtain a quote from TWD.

I contacted Todd Whittaker Drywall, Inc. (TWD) regarding an estimate on the removal of 7 rooms of acoustic (popcorn) ceilings and the repair, retexturing and painting of them in addition to the remodeling of a bathroom. The proposal was reasonable and was returned in a timely manner.The whole process was organized and well planned. I was informed of what to expect to be done each day. The supervisor of my project kept me apprised of everything, and there was also an App available to me to refer to regarding the schedule. My supervisor, Juan, was so impressive. He guided and advised me courteously, respectfully and patiently throughout the process and was instrumental in solving any unforeseen issue that would arise. He was promptly responsive to any question or concern.The TWD staff and their subcontractors were considerate and professional, friendly and polite, and provided great customer service. All workers were reliable, skilled, hardworking and friendly. As you can imagine, it was a dusty, messy project. Everything was draped and covered, and the cleanup was remarkable both daily and at the completion of the project. All ceiling fans were either reinstalled or replaced with new ones. Francisco handled that chore with remarkable patience given problems he encountered with wrong size or missing screws (totally the fault of the manufacturers) not to mention vaulted ceilings.TWD proved to be a very professional and reliable company. They made the whole process painless. I would highly recommend them to others and would definitely use them again myself. I was extremely pleased with the outcome of my project.
