    Great company, competitive pricing, and went ABOVE and beyond. We had a property for sale that needed a roof due to the age and insurance and we were on a very short time schedule in order to sell the home. They fit us in even around the unpredictable weather and got the job done. They did extra trips, worked weekends, and hand delivered things to the county to ensure we can close on the sale of our home on time. The roof looks great and comes with a warranty which not all companies offer. They do, because they can trust they are doing their job right and feel confident to back it up. Shawn & Josh exceeded our expectations and if we need a roof again in Florida we will be sure to give them a call and be sure to recommend them to others. We owe these guys dinner and drinks one day. Great company overall.

    Gold Key Roofing was absolutely amazing! They were friendly and thorough. They kept me up to date with all the steps and made the process so easy. I had other companies come out to give a quote prior to calling Gold Key and they were so pushy, that is something I cannot stand. I love that Eric with Gold Key was straight forward and not pushy at all (honestly that is what sold me). Will use them again in my future and recommend them to anyone!

    Decided to replace 15 yo roof before insurance mandate. I got several quotes but went with Gold Key because of their professionalism. Tyler answered all my questions usually in under 2 hr or the next day at the latest. He touched base with me as I needed a few weeks to complete my quotes. Their price was good and their crews wonderful. The job was completed in two days and site was clean. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Too bad only 5 stars because I’d have given them a 10!

    I did a lot of research with Roofing Companies , one thing I noticed was their place of business. This is not an overnite company , they have been around since 1975. The quality of their workmanship was over the top. It was a pleasure to work with my salesman Tyler. The house looks like a new house. Also I got to meet their quality control guy JOE who came to check the work one more time and ask me if there where any problems. Great follow up very satisfied with Gold Roofing.

    GoldKey did an excellent job replacing our roof. They stayed on schedule, there were no surprise costs, their team was professional at every phase of the project, and they really cared about the finished result. GoldKey took the time to review their work and make adjustments where necessary. They also did some out of scope painting of some trim that was a real bonus saving us money.

    Gold Key roofing rocks! Not only do they put on the Best roof in Orlando they also do remodeling! We’ve been working with Shawn Hewitt and Jeff Hewitt for over 15 years and could not recommend them more highly! They totally remodeled our kitchen and enclosed our utility room – both rooms are amazing. Even though it’s been a few years since they’ve done work for us, when there is a hurricane that is heading to Orlando, Shawn always calls us up to ask if we need help moving our outdoor furniture inside. Being “permanently seated“ as my wife likes to describe me because I’m in a wheelchair, we aren’t able to move things around. He was always punctual & politely answered all of my questions. The day after my roof was replaced, Joe went to my house to remove the debris that fell into my kitchen vent during the re-roof.     The crew from Gold Key did an outstanding job installing our new roof. The estimated was completed timely and I felt most comfortable using this company and the fact they had the lowest estimated was a bonus. Once the HOA approval and the permit were secured the actual roofing was scheduled just a few days later. The roofing supplies and dumpster were delivered on Monday and the work was completed on Wednesday. The crew was efficient and careful to protect our property. The clean up was comprehensive and the dumpster removed the same day the work was complete. Thanks to Ashley and Joe + the whole Gold Key Crew.

    I hired Gold Key Roofing in 2021 to do a complete reroof of my home in Altamonte Springs, Fl. by the sales rep Eric Altman. They did the whole job in three days and that was with having an extra layer of shingles on the existing roof that I did not know about. I was told by the Florida Energy Co. that came back to put my solar hot water heater panel back on my roof that it was one of the best reroofs that they had ever seen.We just experienced Hurricane Ian here in 2022 which is one of the worst storms I have ever been through living here since 1986. After I got on the roof after the storm I did not see a single shingle loose or missing.     Gold Key did a great job replacing our roof after it was damaged by hurricane Ian. Ashley was the most knowledgeable person who came out. We had 3 other roofers give estimates. He was also helpful with the insurance. Everyone was very professional at Gold Key. We had 6 skylights installed. We have a pretty complicated roof with may different shingled pitched sections and a flat section. It looks great and was brought up to code. Mario, Nicholas and Shawn we also terrific along with everyone we encountered with Gold Key. They worked incredibly hard, were organized and clean, polite, professional and highly skilled. I highly recommend them.

    I got three quotes for replacing my roof. Adam was my representative for Gold Key roofing and I can’t say enough good things about him. He took the time to explain the value of what I was having done. Also everyone one involved were very trustworthy and had no issues at all. I had 3 estimates and Gold Key was the most expensive because Adam took the time to explain things I chose to have done like the peel and stick and a new skylight. One of the other companies that gave me a quote has been back out 4 times to fix a leaking problem my neighbors house to save a little money. It Just goes to show you get what you pay for. Save your self a lot of time and call Gold Key Roofing. You will definitely not be disappointed and no pressure to get started asap. It was six months before I decided to get this done. They are the only company that returns calls within approximately 15 minutes. And the workmen ship was incredible!!

    After the a big storm last year, noticed the roof was leaking. Gold key came out right away and were a pleasure to work with. Eric was honest and upfront during the sales process, Mario was super responsive and communicative through the roofing process, and Josh was great when he came back after the roof was completed to help fix the water stains caused by the leak.

    After a tree fell on roof, Gold Key was quick to add a tarp to limit additional water damage. They scheduled the roof replacement quickly and installed to our satisfaction. They did a great job with site cleanup… you would never know they were here. Recommend them for roof replacement.

    My name is Mark Taliento, I live on Lake Conway, and I want to share with you my experiences with Gold Key Roofing in Orlando, Florida.My first experience was after hurricane Irma in 2017, I got referred by a neighbor and they came out to my home immediately within days. They fixed the issues I had, and everything was great.Several years later, hurricane Ian hit in 2022. More damages to my home occurred and Gold Key was there, responding quickly and professionally. They repaired all the damages caused by the 2nd storm and again I was very satisfied. I had other contractors doing other construction projects at my residence and accidentally they broke several of my slate clay tiles and Gold Key came out and changed them all.If you have any issues with your roof, I highly recommend Gold Key Roofing to take care of them. Their internal staff is always pleasant to deal with, to their outside roofing crew are great.     🌟Highly Recommend🌟 Had a hurricane come and blow shingles off the top of my roof. Called GoldKey and they were out the next day. Josh Newman was extremely knowledgeable and helpful though the whole process. Gold key was on time with every meeting (adjusters, engineers, install, etc.), answered all questions same day, and overall just made the process easy to navigate through. Even after the roof replacement was complete, they came back and inspected and fine-tuned all the details around the house. Very happy with the end result.

    Gold Key reroofed our home after the 2022 hurricanes and Eric was our sales rep. He did all of the communication with our insurance and I didn’t have to do a whole lot. On top of that, Gold Key did it without an Assignment of Benefits.Were there issues during the roofing process? Yes. Was I happy? No, as many of them were preventable. But it’s a major construction project, so I get it. Here’s where it gets good. Instead of blasting them on social media I spoke to Eric and the Jeff Hewitt offline. Novel concept, right? They went above and beyond to fix everything on the punch list and never asked to be paid in full until things were 100% done. When the project was nearing completion Joe got involved to ensure they delivered everything they said they would.In the end, we received a great product that looks and performs amazing! I would fully endorse Gold Key for any roofing needs.

    Following a massive hailstorm that totally destroyed my roof, I hired Gold Key based on their BBB rating and the fact that the company had been in business since 1975. Longevity matters in a market where roofers pop up overnight. Their original estimate exceeded what the insurance company was willing to pay, but Gold Key did the job for the insurance estimate plus my $1,000 deductible. The roofing work passed the county inspection with flying colors. Separately, Gold Key paid for a wind mitigation inspection by an independent company, and that report could potentially save me money on my homeowners insurance. I understand that this is not a common practice among roofers, and it would have cost me $105 had I commissioned the wind mitigation inspection myself. All in all, a good experience.

    1/9/2024Ive done business with Gold Key Roofing in the past withoutany problems. My home roof was complely replaced by them a few months ago. Included was replacement of all gutters and downspouts.The roof replacement went fine but the gutter replacement, done by another company, which Gold Key ordered, has been problematic.Most recently, I noted that a gutter downspout had been removed leaving two holes in the wall,associated cracks and a vertica rectangular strip in need of repainting. No replacement downspout was placed and the replacemment gutter was sealed without a downspoout attachnement site. I called Gold Key and spoke with Darren Switzer with whom Ive spoken before. Hes always been very helpful and told me that hed have their Quality rep check it out. Within a day or two, The rep, Joe Conville, came out and after discussion, evaluated the site.He said that hed repair the trauma including fillling the holes, traating the cracks and repainting the area. He walked arounf the house and he found at least one other area where the new downspout had been relocated leaving a vertical discolored rectangle and screw holes on the wall. He said that hed takecare of everything.Joe was very personable, knowledgeable, capable and took care of all of the above very efficiently. Gold Key should be very proud of him.     The Team at Gold Key Roofing was very professional and helpful from start to finish of my re-roofing project. I had a lot of issues with American Integrity Insurance. At first, American Integrity denied my claim, Gold Key got involved & American Integrity approved the claim. They made sure I was involved throughout the process from allowing me to pick what style roof I wanted to applying for the permit until everything was finalized.     Had a leak in my chimney flashing during the recent hurricanes while I was in the hospital. My wife contacted Jeff and Trevor and they sent out a crew to tarp my chimney to get us through the storm and made sure no water got in. They then had their repair crew come out and rework the flashing to fix the leaks. I had the repair professionally inspected to make sure I was ready for an upcoming insurance inspection and the inspector raved about the quality of work and attention to detail.     After a hail storm I was worried about my roof. The following days had horrible thunderstorms and I noticed what appeared to be a water damage spot in a closet ceiling. I called Gold Key and asked for an inspection. They not only verified my roof had hail damage, but came back out when my insurance company inspected the roof to show them their findings. When it came time for the actual roof work, they were professional and very fast. They put tarps down in my backyard to catch any debris from their work, and then went over it with their magnet and nail grabber after the were done and removed the tarps. The workers all had Gold Key Roofing shirts and were actual employees, not contracted out help.I am very satisfied with the work and would highly recommend.

    Gold Key Roofing did an amazing job with my roof re-shingle. After all the shingles were removed from the roof, they took pictures of the boards underneath and shared the photos with me at the end of the project. Surprisingly, I did not require a single replacement board, so the quoted price was the final price that I payed. Gold Key roofing not only was professional about all the work that they did, but they were also very quick to respond to phone calls and emails. In fact, out of the 8 or so calls I made to Gold Key throughout the process, the phone was always answered within the first few rings, and never went to voicemail. The post-installation inspection was a breeze as well and the job was completed in the time frame that they estimated for me (2-days). Lastly, I had a small issue with some of the old roofing material damaging a board in a fence I shared with a neighbor; and with just an email to Gold Key roofing, they came by the house within 24 hours to completely replace the damaged fence board (and adjacent board) with two brand new ones. I would definitely recommend Gold Key Roofing for anyone looking for a roof re-shingle or roof-repair.

    I called Gold Key Roofing about a leak that had started in my Florida Room. They were able to come out the very next day to take a look. Darren was fantastic. He was on time, very professional, wore a mask when to come into my house.     We inherited a roof leak when we bought our home four years ago. Water was working its way into our living room from under the roof tiles/flashing around a chimney, though the exact point of entry was difficult to pinpoint. The problem was particularly troublesome whenever we had heavy downpours. Over the course of three years, wed had two other companies attempt to fix the problem. One of the companies is a highly rated (GAF certified, etc.) roofing company, yet after three attempts of essentially just gluing down heck out of everything under the flashing, they still failed to repair the leak. We are so thankful we found Gold Key Roofing. They did what neither of the other two companies even suggested (probably because it required more work), which was actually remove all of the tiles in the affected area so that they could then accurately locate the source of the problem and repair it correctly. We have had numerous heavy rainfalls since the repair and Im happy to report we havent seen a drop of water in the house! On top of that, it should be noted that Gold Key Roofing charged considerably less than the thousands wed wasted previously on earlier repair attempts involving less invasive work.     We heard a drip, drip, drip above the ceiling in our bedroom one evening after a heavy storm, which is never a good sign. We called two companies with good reviews to give us a quote for a repair, as well as a quote for replacement. Gold Key still had our measurements from our prior call in 2017 (we are holding out on a new roof as long as we can!), so they were able to send a reroof quote right away (within 24 hours). For the repair quote, Darren came out the following week (there has been a lot of rain lately here). Not only did he check the area from the attic access panel, he went into the attic to the exact location of the leak, and then got on the roof, found the area, and actually did a quick repair right on the spot. He took pictures so we could see what was going on, and explained the condition of our roof (good news - we still can wait on that new roof!). He acknowledged the repair was only a band-aid, but as our roof is older and the shingles are getting brittle, he did not want to do anything more to disturb the area since the shingles, overall, are still doing their job. The charge? Nothing!The other company that came out didnt even go on the roof, and only viewed the leak area based on a quick peak through the attic access panel (without actually going into the attic).Which company do you think we will call when we need a new roof?
