Zachary Tripp did such a great job with my plumbing job. This was a rather large job of replacing my daughter’s old cast iron tub totally sealed in tile and replacing it with a new tub . Even when he did not have everything he needed he went above and beyond to get it and worked through the night!He is professional and communication is excellent. Raul S. came to us today as a service tech for the plumbing dept. He was very helpful in the process. I am a new homeowner and he was able to help me with basic knowledge of the plumbing that I don’t know in case of an emergency. He really helped educate me on important matters that could happen in the future. He definitely knows what he is doing and is very skilled! He truly is an exceptional employee!! Mr. Courtney was our maintenance technician today. He was cordial and professional. Immediately began to work upon arrival. He found the unit coil frozen up, and promptly advised me to these findings. Courtney proceeded to assess and communicated the process and intent to getting it resolved. Courtney spent approximately 1.5 hours assessing and was finally advised by direct manager a TXV replacement might be needed. He advised a warranty service tech will be requested to handle this matter and Courtney will call me to confirm once this is completed. In the meant time Courtney suggested to keep only the fan on, to avoid coils from freezing up again. *fingers crossed* Will update review once job is completed.

Keith was absolutely amazing! Super friendly and professional. I felt bad that he had to climb on my roof at night and bring out all of his own lights, but he seemed genuinely excited to help us out. Walked us through the process of everything he was doing, showed us video and pics of everything he did, and even cleaned up in the house a small mess that jetting our drained caused. Overall an amazing experience and would definitely recommend!

I had a plumbing inspection scheduled on November 13, 2024. Right on time, Amber Boram showed up to perform the inspection. Amber was very pleasant, bright and friendly, and ready to do her inspection. I showed her where all the the plumbing was in the house and outside. I watched her perform her inspection and I was impressed with her knowledge and her performance. She explained what she was doing, what she was looking for, and the results. I had some questions and she readily explained what she was doing, and she definitely knew what she was doing! She was very professional, and I felt confident that she did an excellent inspection! I have an Advantage account with Service Experts, but their idea of quick service is to schedule a technician to solve an air conditioning issue the next day . . . late afternoon. A call to Frank Gay Services for my air conditioning issue got me a visit from their technician Dennis Soto in about an hours time.Soto fixed my issue (a clogged drain line) and did an extremely thorough job. His communications skills are outstanding. He was efficient. He made sure my air conditioning system was cleaner when he left than when he arrived. He has to be one of the gems at Frank Gay Services.I could have waited 24-30 hours for Service Experts to do the job for free (but, unfortunately, not as thorough or diligently) through my Advantage membership. I am happy to have paid Frank Gay Services for the same job in light of the high level of work & professionalism I saw from Dennis Soto.Very impressive!!

These three gentlemen were knowledgeable, skilled in their craft, and worked together as a great team. The attic was over 110° F and they pulled together to handle this job. The technician Angel Bonilla was professional. He explained all of the options that I had to fix the problem with my plumbing. He was able to fix my plumbing issue. I found his work excellent. He was courteous and helpful. He also explained other issues that might occur in the future. I found this very helpful. I couldn’t make a decision on those issues because I have to confer with my wife first. Overall the work was done well and I am very happy with the outcome. I would most definitely recommend him.

Gabriel was amazing—kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. His expertise and approach were truly appreciated. However, my experience was marred by some initial scheduling issues. The first technician sent to my unit went to the wrong address and left the complex without returning, despite being instructed to do so. I had to call to get an update and eventually, a third technician was assigned to my appointment. This caused some delays and added confusion to the process. I would have given a full 5 stars if not for these issues, but Gabriels excellent service is definitely worth recognizing.

Part 1 of 3 - ConsultationDwayne Dotson arrived on time and was most professional. He thoroughly investigated the issue at hand (water backing up into my kitchen sink whenever the washing machine runs through its drain cycle). He first gave me a variety of estimates based on levels of service. The levels were based on approving just an examination to worst case scenario (short of replacing the entire cast iron drain/sewage line). After showing me a video of my drain/sewage system, he offered his professional suggestion to fix the issue. The cost was reasonable, so I agreed to the fix.Dwayne was professional throughout the entire process and was most patient in explaining and re-explaining certain procedures. (I needed to see what repairs were needed.)This next comment has nothing to do with Dwaynes consultation. Rather it speaks to his personal skills. Dwayne was also excellent with my dogs. They tend to be territorial, so I kennel them when people come over, which makes the dogs reactive and noisy. I was lucky that Dwayne is comfortable with dogs and helped make my dogs feel comfortable with his presence so much so that I didnt have to kennel them. This was a completely unexpected bonus along with the quality service he provided. It meant a lot to me which is why I even bother mentioning it.This review is 1 of 3 because I believe providing another review after services are rendered and then a final one a few weeks afterward to gauge the fix are only fair to Frank Gay and readers of this review. (Hopefully Ill be able to add to this review.)

Mr. Ruiz did an excellent job. I called a different company before frank gay, had an appointment with them for a certain window of time and they kept pushing it back. We were boiling in our house. It was 90 degrees and humid. Roy came within minutes, fixed the a/c and was gone just as quick (but did quality work). He was very amiable and kind. Whomever works in HR did a good job hiring him.

Esteban Vazquez was very professional and answered all questions and concerns we had. He made us feel ok in the situation to keep the unit on even though the fan doesnt turn off as currently cold weather and need heat overnight. We were sad the warranted part had to be ordered and had a window of time in order to obtain but has nothing to do with him, just worried to leave running non stop before motor part comes in. I called Frank Gay for what I thought was a bad light switch because my fan wouldnt turn on after a storm. The person I spoke with on the phone was very helpful and professional. The person that came to the house, Garrett, was also very professional. He checked the switch and determined it was working properly. He said it was most likely the fans remote control receiver and he could change it out. I decided to do it myself and the fan worked again. I appreciate the honesty and will definitely call Frank Gay again for any problems at my home.

After our emergency call on Wednesday, Marcos and Yusniel came on Thursday to install our new system. They were awesome! Friendly and respectful of our home and very knowledgeable. Because of some peculiarities in how our home was built originally, they had to do a lot more work to install the system then expected and fixed a problem we didnt even know existed. All was included in the agreed-upon installation cost. The system would have functioned okay without the extra work, but Marcos wanted to make sure everything was done right, not just okay. It was cool enough to sleep by bedtime.

I had a 7 year old ac. Kept having problems with it. Called Frank gay and they came out with in the hour to service. Tech said there were too many issues to fix since the old unit was installed incorrectly. So they sold me a new unit $11000. It is a rental property so I was present during installation. When I went in thr evening to check in the unit. I found a huge whole left next to the New AC unit and the ac pad was crooked and not level. I called frank Gay to scheduled someone to come out and no one showed up. I called to follow up and they said someone would come out to cover the hole and fix the crooked ac pad and no one called or came out. Then 10 days later I get a message a tech is on the way. They came out put a level on the unit and yes it was crooked. Question why was it left like that in the first place. And why did it take 10 days for someone to come to my home to fix something that should have been done right from the start. The unit makes a very loud noise. The tech said it was the compressor. I know how Ac should sound and this does not sound like a new unit should. I will need to call to set up another service appointment. Cause this tech could not address the loud compressor. So let’s see how long it takes for them to show up to look at this concern. Botttom line quick to show up to sell a unit $$ sub par job of installation and now I have a $11,000 loud unit !!!! Let’s see how long it lasts thank god I bought the plan with labor included. I called the company because my AC wasnt cooling. The technician, Joseph Bahadur, arrived and told me he couldnt service the AC because it was raining outside. He also mentioned that, according to Florida law, he couldnt fill the Freon in my AC until the condenser was fixed. This was surprising, as a month ago, another technician had serviced my AC and assured me everything was in working condition.Joseph said they would return the next day to fix it. When they came back, it was sprinkling outside, so he didnt work on the AC again. A few days later, they were supposed to arrive between 3:00 and 4:30 PM, but they didnt show up until 8:30 PM. At that time, they called me to say it was too late and they wouldnt be able to service my AC until the next day. I called the office, and they assured me they would fix the AC that night.Finally, Joseph called back, saying he was on his way. He diagnosed the AC and concluded that it just needed a Freon top-off. I was without AC for five days, even though I initially suspected that it was a Freon issue. Please hold your technicians accountable for their job assignments.Second Post:I spoke with Rachel and she addressed all the issues. She sent out a new technician. The technician explained all the problems and recommendations. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly.

I want to start off by saying, if the installer/technician Jonathan didn’t contact my wife and I the very next morning after our new AC install — knowing there were issues with the install and the new unit— to rectify and replace the new unit as it turned out it was a lemon (I get these things happen)— my rating would probably have been 2-3 stars. He definitely saved the day and was professional and communicated in detail what was going on and how he was going to take care of it and resolve the issue for us. Overall, Frank Gay Services has been a decent company to work with since our move to the Sunshine state. We have AC again and they even offer 0% financing, upon approval of course- but that’s a big plus— as a lot of bigger companies have done away with this as an option to their clients.

Julio Guzman and Louis were our technicians working on an extensive project for a completely new ductLESS AC. A truly great experience from Frank Gay Services. My A/C had an issue with the blower motor not functioning properly. I performed my due diligence. I knew what the issue was but did not want to take days or longer attempting to get the right parts, install them and get back to my retirement lifestyle. I decided to let the professionals take care of the issue. Carlos N. was the tech assigned to my project. He arrived the same day of my service call, on time. Carlos was attentive, very approachable and definitely knowledgeable. He explained every step and procedure in laymans terms as the inspection continued. Once completed we discussed the next steps including a firm price. Parts were ordered and the very next day Carlos returned ready to make the necessary repairs to my unit. The next thing I know Carlos told me I could close my windows the unit is up and running. About an hour or so later my home was to a cool 78 degrees. FRANK GAY waived the iniatial cost of $39. Gave a $40 coupon but was not up front about an extra charge due to 14 ceiling which I was asked upon setting appointment. It was extremelt expensive to use Frank Gay.

Carlos was great! He was very thorough with his assessment, checking multiple potential causes for the issue with our AC. Afterwards, he took the time to explain what he found and how it impacts the system as a whole - going over what problems needed to be fixed immediately and which ones could be addressed later. In short, our unit was on its last legs. Carlos took the time to explain potential “band-aid” fixes as well as options for a new unit. I never felt pressured to purchase a certain unit/service, instead being given honest advice when asking about our current situation. Thank you, Carlos!
