I have been fighting (both physically and financially) a leak in my large swimming pool. I had to put water into my pool at least once a week because the water level would go below the skimmer. I thought that I needed a whole new pool floor because of a crack developing at the bottom. However, i found Rob at Certified Leak Detection. He came out and found several leaks and sealed all of them. All my leaks are gone! No more putting water into my pool and it has been five months. I am saving a lot of money each month. I developed leaks in our 30 yr old pool which has been refinished only 4 years ago. A friend recommended I call Rob which I did one afternoon. Rob was at my house at. 8:30 the next morning and immediately went to work locating my possible leaks. He put on his wetsuit and went to work sealing up the leaks. He.was here about two hours and he was finished. My pool has never held water as well as it does now. I would definitely recommend Rob if you have a leak in your pool. I also feel he charged a very fair price.

He spent time to explain to me his process and within 30 minutes he found the leak and was able to repair the issue on the spot. This guy schedules next Monday with you, but then calls you 3-4 days prior to check if he can come take a look at your pool the same day (I know it wont happen every time - I was lucky) If it works for you he shows up all ready and gets to work immediately, identifies the issue, consults you, answers all your questions, informs you about potential future issues and pricing, fixes the issue and leaves you as a very happy pool owner... Worth every penny he charges and he is not more expensive than others...I am not kidding... I was really nervous about the leak and the service / pricing Id receive from any leak detection company that I kept postponing it for months and ended up spending more money on the water than on the fix...You have a leak you call Rob... This guy is one of the very few honest guys I dealt with lately when it comes to such services...

His inspection was very thorough and most importantly, HE IS HONEST!! While he couldve told me the broken pipe needed immediate repair, INSTEAD...he capped off some of the jets to bypass the pipe, so that the leak was stopped and I could save for future costs. Only cost $390 and has 90 day warranty. Better than the others!! I highly recommend this company!!

I have been using the same company for the past 2 years to clean my pool and every week the perform service not once did they notice that the pool was leaking. When I did notice the leak I check around with a few company, but Certified Leak Detection stood out with 5 star reviews. The ver day I called, Robert assured me that he would be at my home later or the next day. By 3 pm that very afternoon he was at my home unfortunately I was at work but before he started he explained what he would do and after he was finished he called me again to let me know what he found and what he did to repair the leak. I had spent the last several months filling my pool almost daily. Being new to pool ownership, I wasnt sure if that was just normal with evaporation during the dry months, until I bought a pool blanket and continued to lose water. I found Certified Leak Detection in my research online and found their website to be very helpful, so I decided to give them a call. Robert gave me an estimate over the phone and described what he would be able to do. Shortly after, he scheduled a service visit. He was on time, very professional and went to work immediately. He worked diligently, inspecting all of the fittings and the pool finish itself (including under water) and all of the pool equipment. When he finished, he let me know that all of the needed repairs would be included in his overall fee, with the exception of one which required more extensive work. His price was very reasonable and he was finished in short order. I havent had to fill the pool since! All-in-all, I couldnt be more pleased and wont hesitate to call again should I suspect a leak anywhere on my property.

I had a leak in my pool, which i knew for some time, but was not able to find the right guy. I had some local pool maintenance companies come and look for the leak for months. Could not find a spot and instead ended up patching my entire pool with white under water putty. After trying with mom-pop companies I came across certified leak detection company through google search and decided to give it a shot. Trust me folks I wasnt disappointed. I talked to Robert, who is the owner and operator and he promised me to show up at my house at 8AM. And also provided me with an estimated charges over the phone. 8AM door bell rang and he was right in front of me. Came equipped with all the needed gears and roughly one hour inside my pool he came out and told me the problem. Gave me the price to fix it and also gave me written warranty for a year. He did the work. Took the payment and left. I was not too sure and wanted to wait before submitting any review for him. Almost 2 months and I have filled water twice instead of adding every other day. Money well spent and very pleased with overall professionalism. If you have a leak in your pool..give Robert a try...you wont be disappointed.

I noticed that my pool water level seemed to be going down at the rate of about a 1/4 inch a day.I went on line in a panic and found several companies including Certified leak detection. After reading the review I took a chance with Certified. I called Rob Douglas in the morning and he came right out that afternoon. Though I have a relatively small pool I had 2 leaks,one of which was very hard to find.Unfortunately it took 2 trips to find that very small almost imperceptible second leak. However he did find the leaks and my pool seems to be back to normal. Rob did make me feel secure by informing me that if there were any other problems he would come right out to address the issue which he did.Rob was honest, courteous,very informative, and his pricing was very fair and substantially less than some of the other companiesI contacted.I am very with the service I received from Certified Leak Detection and would recommend his company to others.

Called yesterday afternoon. He was here in 30 mins. Did a visual check of the pool. Found a leak in the filter. Lightning rolled in. He left promising to come back in next couple of weeks. Came back this afternoon. Brought out his equipment. Spent a half hour underwater (part of the service). Found 2 leaks. Both needed expensive work to excavate and replace fittings. He epoxied them and said they should hold this way a long time. His explanation made sense and I happily paid him the original quoted price to check and fix leaks. Guy is amazing. Really knows his stuff. Id recommend him to anyone with a pool, deck or spa problem.

Above and beyond customer service! Amidst a complete pool renovation, I awakened one night concerned about checking the pool plumbing before the finishing began in just a few days. Each leak detection company I called was scheduled weeks out. But Rob, with Certified Leak Detection, recognized the (self-inflicted) urgency of my situation, and came SAME DAY! He pressure tested my plumbing and immediately identified the EXACT LOCATION of a broken pipe. The break was under the concrete deck, and I was concerned that the repair would interrupt the renovation schedule. But Rob pointed out that there was a guy working on the pool with a jackhammer about 10 away from me who could have the hole opened up in minutes. From there it was just a matter of some PVC fittings and glue. Problem solved! Thanks Rob for great service and solution!

I had a bad experience with a company who resurfaced our pool, did new tile around the top, & put in a new pool light in March. They didnt seal well enough around many areas & the pool had been losing water ever since. The pool resurface company couldnt find the leaks/figure out the problem so they ended up telling me I needed a leak dedection specialist to look at it & basically that they give up, not offering to pay either. I found out it was areas they should have sealed better (around the back of the new pool light they installed, around the main drain, and around a jet) after Robert came out & fixed our leaks. As you can imagine, I was upset at first about having to pay for someone else to fix it but none of that is really related to Robert and the great work he did. My pool is no longer losing water about a week later. Will keep an eye on it but he said he has a guarantee & I feel like our problem might finally be fixed! So grateful to Robert!

Rob found the leak in my irrigation system between the back flow and the irrigation meter at the street.Rob was great, he came out on the 17th, but then the irrigation meter stopped after he spent 1.5 hours trying to find the leak. He said if my irrigation meter came back on he would come back. So he did the very next day! After much effort on his part and putting pressure in the line to find my mystery leak he was able to uncover it! Wow, unbelievable as I was about to give up. Rob went above and beyond and I highly recommend his company to find a water leak!

I highly recommend Certified Leak Detection. I called them yesterday and received a quick call back. Robert (the owner) made an appointment for 10:30 the next morning. He showed up early for the appointment, took a look at my pool and quickly found the problem without going though a full-blown leak detection process. He said he could charge me to do a full leak detection and do a temporary repair but he said that was not going to fix my problem because I have a bigger issue. Not knowing any better, he could have easily charged me and I would have paid, and the problem would have occurred again in the near future. Rather than charge me and me be unhappy when the pool leaked again soon, he did a quick temporary repair and provided a referral to a company that can fix the larger issue. I appreciate his honesty and straightforward way of dealing with his customers. He was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information with me. Very honest and knowledgeable.
