When my laminate floor started swelling out of nowhere, I had no idea what was the cause. I had 2 other companies come to my house and neither of them were able to tell me where the leak was from. I was quoted thousands of dollars by a restoration company without them even knowing what was the problem. The other company wanted to cut into my bathroom shower tiles to see if they could find a leak. I decided to reach out to Above and Beyond Leak Detection. It was difficult to get a response and I did have to reach out again. I was desperate for help. Trent arrived on time and spent hours trying to identify the problem. At first he didnt think there was a leak but he didnt give up. Eventually he identified the exact issue and gave me advice on how to get it resolved. Trent saved me thousands of dollars. I cant thank him enough for his help.

I had a leak during one of Florida’s famous rain storms Trent came out and fixed the leak in the window frame. So we thought. Next rain storm it was leaking again. Trent came out again and found tiny cracks in my outside wall and caulked a lot!!!! Almost my entire wall. Next hurricane Milton came and NOT 1 DROP of WATER leaked inside. I highly recommend this company

We were concerned because our water bill was higher than normal for a month when we weren’t even home. Trent arrived and explained what he would be looking for and methodically checked for leaks. Fortunately, with his expertise, he quickly discovered that our problem was a faulty County meter. He could have charged us the agreed upon fee for his work, but he reduced his fee because he didn’t need to use his high tech equipment to find the problem. We sincerely appreciate his knowledge, honesty and kindness and highly recommend his service.

Trent was phenomenal! We received a dramatically high water bill and needed a professional to examine our house for water leaks. He was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He confirmed there was no major leak under the house or in the walls and identified the culprit as a running toilet. He charged us less than his original quote since he didnt have to use his more involved equipment to identify the problem. He went above and beyond by doing some work on our toilet and replacing some parts to ensure the problem was solved. Highly recommended!

Above & Beyond Leak Detection was recommended by Emerald Plumbing. Trent arrived on time and went above & beyond to diagnose our problem. It wasn’t a water leak but a missing dryer vent exhaust which was causing moisture build up in our wall cavity of the laundry closet. This issue caused the opposite side of the wall in our front entryway to show visible signs of damage along with the our wide plank hardwood flooring to warp. The continuous moisture has also impacted the frame of our exterior front door. Trent uncovered mold in the wall behind our stacked washer /dryer which was caused by a non-connected exhaust dryer vent pipe. This pipe should have exited through the roof. We’re fortunate that a fire didn’t occur or an explosion due to sewer gases igniting due to the non venting of the water supply drain for the washing machine. We had 2 major problems that he uncovered in our master bathroom laundry closet. This all should have been done by our contractor who was responsible for our whole house renovation that was completed 3 years ago. Trent was very professional, thorough & explained everything and was meticulous with his report. Our family is forever grateful for his services. I wish Above & Beyond Leak Detection could receive 10 stars for this Google review.

Due to my local city informing me that my water line from the meter to the house had a leak, I took action. After trying a number of remedies and asking the city for additional assistance, the ongoing diagnosis was that my water line was leaking somewhere after the water left the meter for my house. I called my plumbing company and they immediately referred me to Trents Above & Beyond Leak Detection. Trent arrived on time and explained what tests he would conduct. After finding no leak, Trent didnt stop considering options. As I was about to pay for his services, Trent showed me a side-by-side picture of my water meter and my neighbors meter. He pointed out the difference in the dials and surmised that my meter was being incorrectly read due to the different formatting. After phone calls and a couple additional meter readings from the citys utility dept., the head of the service dept. and I spoke on the phone one last time where she confirmed that my meter was the only one in the entire city (if I heard correctly) with a different meter numbering format. Consequently, the city is now refunding my overpayment for the previous months charges. I am very grateful for Trents experience and service and recommend him wholeheartedly.

We came back from vacation with a small section of our carpet being damp. Thinking the worst, I couldn’t find the source of the water, so after googling companies and reaching out to a few, Trent was the first person to get come out that same morning. He quickly found the source. Throughout he explained what was happening and how he could fix and also help clean up the water that had accumulated from our water heater. Instead of temporarily fixing it and telling us we needed a whole new heater, he took the time to fix the broken pipe and the cost was incredibly reasonable, where other companies would have charged a lot more. He even cleaned up the water, and set up our heavy shop fan to start drying the wet area to prevent mold growth. I highly recommend this company, honest, hard working and incredibly helpful. Amazing service. Trent arrived less than an hour after calling. Called for a second quote after roto-rooter gave me an $750+ quote to find a bathroom leak. Leak was detected very quickly, and even performed some additional handy man service with no additional charge. Significantly less expensive than the commercial companies. 11/10 would highly recommend.
