Sean worked with our schedule to complete the work we needed done. He also kept me informed of any changes and offered plenty of options. When he arrived, I enjoyed how he thoroughly explained what he was doing and why.Also, I didn’t realize we were out of code, he addressed it right away and now we are good to go. Aside from having a great name, he is very professional and I am glad that I found a dependable electrician. The previous reviews are accurate and I am happy to add my positive experience as well.

Short review: I cannot recommend Veterans Electric enough! Nothing but professionals who helped us restore power in some upstairs rooms, all within a few hours after calling.Longer review: Ironically, the smoke detector in our girls’ bedroom started smoking overnight. I shut off our power and called 911. The fire department came, and found that the wiring from the smoke detector had started burning. They removed it, and made sure there was no further fire. After turning the power back on, the electricity in our upstairs bath and bedrooms no longer worked.I gave Veterans Electric a call the next morning, and spoke with Emma. She was very helpful, straightforward, and let me know that she could send someone out that very morning.Sean arrived later that morning, and was nothing but professional. After doing some investigating, he determined that all the original hardwired smoke detectors were starting to burn at the wiring, and caused a backfeed of power. He uninstalled the wiring on the old detectors, and was honest with me and said I could save a lot of money by installing new detectors myself, as opposed to having him install each one. He explained exactly what I would need to purchase to be safe and code compliant.Through his work, Sean explained everything and answered all our questions, and only charged the original troubleshooting amount. While another company had a less expensive “dispatch fee,” I am confident that I would have paid much more going through another company at the end of the day. Sean also explained that if he needed to come back for the issue that he would not charge another fee for returning, and that he would just pick up from where he left off.I had never hired an electrician before, but I know who I’ll be calling in the future! Again, I highly recommend Veterans Electric!

Amazing service! We had 3 light fixtures replaced with 3 complex ceiling fan light fixtures (to include ceiling fan box installs) and the service was both time and cost effective. They take care of military families too as they are a veteran-owned business. They are very kind and upfront about the costs and they have affordable set prices and don’t try to run up prices like a lot of bigger electric companies and electricians. I highly recommend them if you have electrical needs and are looking to support a local business.

I have a ceiling fan now! I purchased new home and my living room had exposed electrical wire. It was ugly.. so I called Veterans Electric to install a new fan and put the electrical wire behind the wall. They are very professional and great customer service! 10% military discount is really nice.. We ran into problems with the fan that I ordered from Amazon. It was fan problem. They worked so hard with that fan. Manufacture problems i had to reschedule but its done! I have a great working ceiling fan now. I definitely call them again with my next project. The owner Sean came out as our electrician. It’s been a long time since I’ve met such an understanding, informative, respectful, and kind human being! He had no problem having me watch and ask questions… yes I had a million. From veteran to veteran he saw that something was unsafe and corrected it free of charge. Yes, it was only an addition 10-15 min. but that could save my dad house from buring down! The employees’ communication with us was amazing! On time and efficient!Highly recommend!!!

Sean came out the same afternoon I called and did a thorough assessment of our blown fuse issue and in a short time identified and fixed the problem in multiple outlets. Sean is the most professional contractor I have dealt with to date. I made a call on a Tuesday morning, and they responded that afternoon and were able to squeeze me at the time I wanted the very next day. He helped solve my breaker problem, fixed my outdoor Christmas lights, and fairly quoted me for living room and garage light upgrades. To top it off, he is a veteran, which explains his attention to detail and work ethic. I would highly recommend it!

These guys know their stuff. I was having issues with 2 blown circuit breakers after a big storm the other day. I called around and most electricians charge some to come out, more for diagnosis, more for parts and labor, with an unknown total. These guys do their pricing differently, and tbh I prefer it.Before coming to my house, Sean called me to see if I had done any troubleshooting myself and to generally talk about what the problem was and to narrow down on what the best course of action. He said to save time and money (!!) he talked me through how to troubleshoot on my own. He was very thorough in explaining their pricing and why doing troubleshooting on my own is best for myself and my pocketbook. How awesome is that?! When he got here, he knew exactly what to do in like 5 minutes, and saved me about half of what I would have paid. I’m not gonna lie, electricians are 💵💰🤑, HOWEVER they do a very important skilled labor that I don’t feel like I can do beyond replacing light fixtures and outlets (if it’s straightforward). Sean was very nice and clear about his price, did a wonderful job, kept us in the loop, and there were no surprises. Thank you Sean! We’ll keep you in mind for future needs!!

I called to have a light installed under our home. We received an immediate callback to schedule a bid within 3 days. Sean came and gave a fair estimate and identified an unsafe electrical wiring problem in other areas. These areas were in an area that is off grid and out of sight. Sean and associate arrived on time and did a thorough, comprehensive job. He was open and complete in all costs associated with the job. It feels good to have a potential problem fixed, fire safety ensured and wiring up to code.Today, Sean returned to replace my 6 smoke detectors to our home. He has a quiet, thoughtful demeanor that works well with someone with lots of questions. He was very concise in his answers and reasons why certain considerations were available. Sean found a quirk in one of the wiring sites of a detector and repaired it for installation of new detector.I give a strong recommendation to Veterans Electric LLC.

Veterans Electric did a great job replacing our pole barn electrical panel and all the outlets and switches in our home, which was not a simple task as the previous owner did his own amateur wiring. They were able to deal with some really funky installations and get us up to code! We had a minor miscommunication about the work we wanted done and they quickly and happily came back to our home and made sure we were 100% satisfied. Sean and Juan were amazing from the first phone call in professionalism and kindness. They reassured my husband and I that a previous negative experience we had with a different company, was not how they choose to do business. They explained cost needed to assess the issue. They had to travel a little further to get to us so there was a small travel fee as well (which was completely worth it). We were nervous as to what the diagnosis would be. There had been a couple of companies that suggested our issue could be an expensive fix (poss $1,000-$2200).Sean and Juan arrived on time, happy, and ready to help us figure out the diagnosis. We had lost the ability to use some of our outlets, our heat, our stove and our dryer.In the end, diagnosis and fixing the issue came to $289 total! I could not have asked for better, service. They treated us like family the whole time and helped us to understand what they were doing and why. I highly recommend them and will gladly use them again in the future, should the need arise.

Everyone, from their scheduler to their technicians, was super friendly and helpful. The scheduler helped me troubleshoot the electrical problems I had over the phone and when that didn’t work she promptly scheduled an appointment to have a technician come out and troubleshoot.I have a toddler and a dog and the technicians were super friendly and understanding to my toddler being loud and needed. They also did a step by step explanation for everything they were doing and why. They were super informative and helpful.My experience was a 10/10 and I will recommend them to everyone under the sun. Shawn and Emma were both so professional and helpful when we had a light switch issue and needed help. When he came out to do our repair and give us an estimate for adding some lighting he provided money and time saving advice. In this day and age we were so thankful for that knowledge and not just trying to make a buck. If we had went with our original idea we’d have to repair it later once our home renovations started. Then he fixed our issue very quickly and explained how and what the wires meant incase we come across this again. We will definitely use them again in the future and would recommend to others.

Great Experience! Our dining room light fixture stopped working. Veteran electric was able to trace the problem back to a junction box that was dry walled over! They opened the ceiling, fixed the connection, and put a nice cover on so the junction box was accessible. They were one time, very professional and personable, and did a very thorough job. I am pleased to have hired Veterans Electric after going over bids I received to install a new 20 amp dedicated circuit. Every interaction was very professional between Sean and when calling the office and speaking to Emma. Received a phone call before they would show up and was not late to the appointments for the bid and to complete the work. I found the quality of work was great and the electrical inspector signed off on the work with no issues. Sean cleaned up the work area when finished and I didn’t need to do any additional cleaning. Also took the time to answer questions that I had and never appeared bothered to answer them. There was a hiccup with my appointment time since my appointment was at 12 noon but for some reason they had me down for 8 AM. In the end, I went ahead and took the 8am appointment slot since nothing else was open that day and I didn’t want to have to wait. The appointment lady was very polite though. The electricians that came to may house were very old school professional and to the point. They wore shoe guards to protect my floors, which was thoughtful since I had little children. I had issues with the refrigerator outlet tripping the circuit breaker. So after introducing themselves, they went down to assess the circuit and outlets then explained what was wrong with my circuit in detail. At first, his recommendation of switching my appliances didn’t work and they had already left when my refrigerator tripped the circuit again. So I called them back and they came right back to troubleshoot some more. They then made changes to the circuit, which finally worked. Overall, I was satisfied with their services and would recommend to others. They will be our go-to electricians in the future..

He gave me the name of a mobile home specialist and told me to call the power company, because it could be them. They came out the same week I called and evaluated the situation and gave me an honest assessment. I respect and value their candor that they could not get the job done because they dont have a large crew, but they gave me important information on where to look and a direction to follow. If I have smaller electrical issues in the future I will not hesitate to call Veterans Electric to resolve them.

Scheduling was easy with this company, and day of service communication was also very good. On the day of service, Sean was actually running a little bit ahead of schedule, but called to let me know and find out if it was okay for him to come early. He arrived, introduced himself and his apprentice, and they both put booties on their shoes before they came in. Sean already had a good idea what my issue was, based on what I had told his scheduler, so it didnt take much conversation for him to get busy diagnosing the actual problem. That didnt take long either, and he quickly gave me his recommended solution, with a thorough yet understandable explanation, to which I agreed. In no time at all, the work was done. He charged me a fair rate and payment was easy and convenient. I have some other projects coming up and I will definitely be calling Veterans Electric again!

Excellent service! Cant speak highly enough. Needed to get my furnace repaired after a faulty breaker box almost caught fire. I called Veterans Electric (VE) with a non-emergency repair that I was hoping to get an estimate for from a few vendors. The representative I spoke with patiently listened to my electrical issue and after letting him know the diagnostics I had already tried (check circuit breaker box, replace faulty outlets, resetting GFCI outlet, etc), he helped diagnose the problem over the phone and did not charge me for the advice. Turned out I had a faulty GFCI outlet that provided power at the outlet, but because of its defect would not provide power to downstream outlets. I did not know that could be the problem, but VE accurately diagnosed the problem over the phone. I tried to diagnose this issue before calling VE with Youtube and the internet like plenty of other folks do. But sometimes you need an expert. If anyone needs expert electrical work done, I highly recommend VE. Also, I did not mention Im a veteran as well in my phone call and he still provided top notch help. I think anyone should call VE first for fair treatment and professional expertise. Thanks VE!

First, I was able to schedule an appointment within a couple of days of calling in which is amazing. Veterans Electric evaluated my current wall-heaters because I wanted to replace them with something that was potentially more efficient (short of a mini-split). They actually recommended that I keep what I have as theyre a higher end type of wall heater. They suggested I only replace them if they fail. Ultimately, they just provided me with honest, practical advice and I didnt provide them with any business. However, if I do need electrical service in the future I will definitely be using Veterans Electric!

We had a snafu while switching out light plates and outlets in our nursery that also caused the power to go out in our guest bathroom. Did I mention this was a few days before company coming at Christmas and a few weeks before my due date? I called several electricians who all said they could see me in 5-8 weeks. The team at Veteran’s Electric were our saviors and were able to come out within a few days, diagnose the problem and easily fix it for us. Their communication was also excellent throughout the process. I will use them again for all our electrical needs.

I live in an older house and was updating light design and the electricians were patient and helpful as we tackled some design complications due to the age of the home. The 6 lights they installed look great and took my kitchen from a cave to a well-lit modern kitchen. So grateful for this company and the work they do :)

The two electricians were very friendly and professional. After a wrong diagnostic made by a tech at Mr Appliance for my dryer, they troubleshooted the probable cause by thoroughly checking every possibility for the malfunction. Then made sure there were no other issues that they could help me with while they were there. They back their service promise up with a guarantee that if I need another troubleshoot for some other electrical problem, they would come back and start from where they left off at no additional service charge fee. Very impressed!

I highly recommend this business! I needed an electrician to install the proper outlet and underground electrical work for my new landscaping and water feature. After receiving bids from two other companies, I called Veterans Electric after seeing their van on my street. Emma was extremely pleasant on the phone and scheduled an appointment for Sean to come the following day for an estimate. Sean was on time, very knowledgeable and also gave me an estimate to install two floor outlets in my great room. His estimate was very fair for the work to be done and I hired him immediately. Sean was at my house this morning and took care of everything he promised. So pleased I went with this company!

My new go-to electrician for sure. Emma goes through a few steps to find and fix issues over the phone before she dispatches the guys. Very upfront about prices, too.Sean and Juan came by to troubleshoot a few outlets in the kitchen that had quit working. They found a few different issues with wiring done by a handyman that didnt meet code done during a previous kitchen remodel before we bought the house. Seans theory that a junction box or two were covered over makes sense as there is no GFCI in the kitchen. When the kitchen remodel is planned in the near future, Veterans Electric will be here to rewire the whole thing.

I can not gush about this company enough! From their knowledgeable receptionist to the friendly electrician, I enjoyed my interaction with this company. Being a first time homeowner, there is a lot I do not know and like a normal consumer I worried about that being used against me. The receptionist treated me kindly and answered all of my question professionally. She helped me with a simple repair over the phone (I now know what a GFCI is for the next brownout). It made me feel that they were trustworthy, so I asked them for a price quote on some electric work and their help to fix my four way switch in my kitchen. They were very quick and efficient. I am really grateful and look forward to working with them on other projects.
