Jesse was impressively prompt, did a great job explaining everything, and solved my problem. I noticed water dripping from the ceiling in my garage at 6:30am. By 8:45am he contacted me to let me know he was on his way. It turned out my shower drain gasket had failed so he replaced it. He also set up the call with Power Dry for me so I didn’t have try to figure out that part of it. My morning started out rough but Tried and True made it much better in a hurry.

Jesse kept me informed of the options I had with getting my clogged main line sewer problem resolved. He spent a couple of hours repeatedly running an auger through my sewer line trying to remove wads and wads of tree roots that had accumulated over the years. He continued working until the sewer line was cleared enough that the drain was functioning for now. He provided other options to attempt to get the historical sewer drain problem more permanently resolved. In my opinion, Jesse achieved a 5 star ⭐️ rating from me.

Great experience from start to finish. My sump pump failed this morning leaving me with 2 inches of water in the basement. I called in to describe my problem and was immediately called back was told that the plumber, Kyle Colucci, would be calling me to make an appointment. Kyle called me immediately and said he could come right away. Kyle showed up on time as promised and quickly identified the problems and gave me several options to proceed and started working right away once I gave approval. All together they came out, gave me a proposal and started working all within an hour of my first call! I called around ten this morning and a professional was at my door by two. Even though the call was his last for the day and the job was more difficult than it was initially thought to be Jesse Wimsett sprang into action to get the line repaired and he did it in even less time than he originally quoted me with a smile on his face. Kyle was very professional and determined the issue with my forced air Hot Water Heater not heating was due to a lack of ventilation. The 3 1/2 year old motor was no longer capable of pushing the air through the 35 ft +/- length plus several turns of 2 in PVC pipe and needed to be replaced with a 3 in PVC pipe. The quote to replace the 2 inch PVC pipe with 3 inch PVC pipe was just over $2,000. We are DIYers so I purchased the needed supplies from Lowes for under $170.00 and my sons installed it in just a few hours. I rated a 4 star due to the crazy high price.

Shortly after moving into my house, I unearthed 6 gas leaks missed by the home inspector. It was a disaster. I called Tried & True and I couldnt have been happier with the work. Jesse was my plumber and he went ABOVE and BEYOND to help get me out of this mess. These arent run-of-the-mill average Joe plumbers. These guys know their stuff when dealing with gas, water heating and boiler systems.After assessing things, Jesse helped troubleshoot ways to make a bad situation a lot better. Of course he would fix the gas leak...but I floated the idea of replacing one of the culprit appliances (a 17 year old gas hot water heater that was short for this world). He took that idea and found ways to approach it to shrink the total job cost: that is, when compared to doing gas line repairs and the hot-water heater replacement, separately. He got me a much better set-up in the end at a very reasonable price for what was a major residential plumbing job. Jesse turned lemons into lemonade and I am very thankful for that.Heres what mattered most to me: Jesse took the time to explain everything and he took the time to explain shortcuts that he wouldnt take. When dealing with gas lines, its reassuring to know your technician has safety on his/her mind and takes every detail seriously. Jesse gave me his cell phone number and was very communicative over what would be a multiple-day job. I never felt in the dark. He even worked with my schedule as all of this happened on my first day at a new job.This isnt my first old home and, believe me, Ive had some bad plumbers in the past. Jesse & the folks at Tried+True are a welcome change. You can trust their work. You should hire them without reservation. Ill be calling Jesse for all of my plumbing needs.
