    We came across Bond Construction after a number of interactions with other contractors left us feeling frustrated.Ed showed up the day I reached out and came to the site to answer questions and prepare a quote. It was clear from the start that Bond Construction would be a perfect fit for this project. Ed was able to quickly navigate the arduous co-op approval process and provided guidance along the way.The project consisted of a fairly extensive renovation of a 2 bedroom co-op apartment in lower Manhattan. Bond Construction completed the following: new flooring throughout the entire apartment, patch/paint plaster walls and ceilings, skim coat where necessary, updated electrical work (fuse box to circuit breaker), open up a pass through between living room and kitchen, a complete kitchen gut and renovation, install all appliances, install cabinetry, install new baseboard and crown moldings, build two large decorative beams with recessed LED lighting in living room, remove pedestal sink and install new bathroom vanity.There are lots of other details I have left out but needless to say Ed and his team did an incredible job with this project. Ed was communicative throughout the renovation and his team was extremely resourceful, as they were able to come up with creative and effective solutions to any issues or unforeseen challenges that arose during the renovation. Everyone that worked on site was friendly, respectful of our buildings rules, and our neighbors.Most importantly, the project was done ON TIME and ON BUDGET! We would highly recommend Ed and his team at Bond Construction and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

    A friend of mine recommended Bond Construction since she had a positive experience using them. When I moved from my place in Manhattan I was in a hurry and do not really like painting so I knew I needed some assistance. I found the whole experience very positive. Their staff was professional and helpful and made my move very much less stressful! I wanted the walls in my apartment to be all painted the same color and to look nice and clean just the way they were when I first rented my place. They did a really great job and I was very satisfied! I highly recommend Bond Construction for all your apartment painting needs.

    In my search for a general contractor, I hired Bond Construction to gut renovate my kitchen and bathroom as well as patch/paint walls throughout my apartment. Bond Construction did a terrific with the remodeling of my kitchen and bathroom. I am really pleased with their quality of work and the efficiency they offered throughout an enthusiastic working process. These guys are really good at what they do, and Ed is extremely easy to communicate with.

    I hired Bond Construction to gut renovate my apartment. Everything from the walkthrough to the finishing touches was great. The rates were fairly priced and honest. Every crew member is professional and Ed who I was manager always kept me updated on their progress either via phone or email. He was also always available for questions that I had. He always answered or got in contact with me in a Timely matter. The project was completed within the timeframe. These guys are hard workers and they under-promise and over-deliver.My project turned out amazing! I would recommend Bond Construction to anyone!

    Absolutely excellent work from Ed and his team. The work (complete renovation of my bathroom and basement) was done to an extremely high standard, very quickly, and he was always responsive, at short notice. I completely recommend Bond. As other reviewers have said, I only wish there was more for them to do! You will not regret choosing Bond Construction for your home construction work. Thanks!

    My wife and I recently purchased an apartment in a pre-war co-op on the Upper West Side that needed a bit of updating. After scouring the internet for reviews, I came across Bond Construction on Yelp. I placed a call to the main line and reached Ed, who is the most on-the-ball general contractor Ive ever dealt with, and he arranged for a visit to the new apartment with his right-hand-man Beni. Ed had great advice on how to do our job in the most cost-efficient and time-efficient manner - he could have made more work for himself and charged more by approaching our renovations differently, but he chose the most efficient plan/scope of work. My wife and I decided to re-tile the kitchen and bathrooms and install new hardwood floors throughout the entire apartment. Given that the kitchen was going to be torn up due to the flooring, we decided to have Ed install the appliances and skim-coat and paint the walls and ceiling to freshen things up. Initially, Ed said that such a project would take 3-4 weeks. But to our delight, the entire renovations were done in 2 weeks and a day. Ed kept me posted of things that came up along the way and reached out to us whenever any part of the job required input (e.g., he sent us pictures of tiles in different positions to ask which way to install them before laying them down). Even though there were a few unforeseen hiccups (e.g., doors had to be shaved down to fit over new floor, old radiator pipe had to be removed, etc.), Ed never once tried to charge us for additional work, which is rare for general contractors who are notorious for nickle-and-diming clients. Overall, I would highly recommend Ed for any renovation job in the city. I met a number of his team-members who were all very professional and clearly took pride in their work. The details were perfect and my wife and I couldnt be more happy.

    I have a small portfolio of investment properties within New York City boundaries and use Bond Construction to enhance the properties. For example, two loft conversions in one of my townhouses, three basement conversions and condo gut renovation. Excellent company and come highly recommended. Communication, fair price and work results are best I have seen from working with many general contractors in NYC.

    My wife and I hired these guys to do a few things around our apartment: new floor, painting, and resizing a closet (and a minor repair, installing a new window above our bedroom door). Overall, we are very pleased with the work, and would probably hire again.Pros: SUPER fast (seriously, much faster than competition), extremely responsive, cheaper than a lot of the competition, overall good quality work.Cons: Minor glitches with some aspects of projects.Project Summary:Floor: High quality wood used, chose to lay it on top of existing floor. Fast and pretty, although slight creak in one spot (unsure if from previous floor). 4.5 starCloset Resize: Done to our specifications, new walls look great. 5 star.Window: Looks much prettier. 5 star.Painting: Paint done to our specifications, overall good color scheme. Minor cracking seen in a couple areas, suspect priming was not quite all there. Very minor fix, though. 4 star.

    Great experience! Got right to work, friendly and timely and easily accessible. Renovated a previously rent controlled apartment within six weeks and I had it rented out within a week - looks great. Would absolutely recommend.

    Bond did a wonderful job on my home renovation. Eds team replaced my carpets, repainted the walls white (they needed a fresh coat) and did one wall in blue. I also had built in shelves that I wanted redone so I do could use some for books and some for decoration. Bond did everything to my specifications and I am very pleased with the results and work ethic.

    Ed and the team did an amazing job on our bathroom renovation. We couldnt be happier with both the working relationship during the process, as well as the end result. First off, they had a fair and transparent estimation process, and were very affordable. They also went out of their way to make sure that everything got done, even went above and beyond, while sticking to the original estimate. We were also surprised with how fast they worked, and Ed was in constant contact with us throughout the process making sure that we felt in control. Finally, they were very friendly and professional, and were a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend them!
