YSG did a stellar job on my solar project. A neighbor of ours had a system installed by them and we were curious so we called them up. Our salesperson was very non pushy, informative and to the point. 6 months later and our bill is 1/4 of what it was before having solar installed. Just finished claiming our last solar tax credits and couldn’t be happier. Definitely recommend.

My Tesla is now being charged from the sun! thank you YSG Solar. In September we started searching for a solar panel company. My neighbor used another company that we met previously who came to our home to provide us an estimate. We started the process and after months nothing occurred, my husband ended up cancelling. We called YSG and within one day of calling we received the estimate. From the day the paperwork was signed until the panel system had been installed was just weeks. This was a big relief. It was not an easy decision for us to go electric with our car. YSG even installed our Tesla charger, they delivered on all of their promises and are a true professional company. There is nothing better than getting a $20 power bill.

If solar panel construction was a baseball team, YSG would be the Yankees. I have never been this biggest baseball person but these guys are good. Our installation took place almost three years ago and the process was amazing. At first we had looked into solar and received so many calls. I had to put off the project for several months we just had been very turned off at first. YSG was the only company still followed up with us and took the time to explain how it works. We received conflicting information from two of the other companies and it just gave us a bad feeling. My house is heated with electric so going solar seemed like a natural next step. The installer stayed at my house late until the job was done and came early the next day, the entire team was hard working and are passionate about solar panels. My electric bill after solar has been $20 each month. Hard to believe more people are not going solar. If your thinking about it take the time and research the equipment. Make sure you get quick mount flashing this is an item we did a lot of research about when we went solar. The roof was new and we had been concerned about water damage. YSG offers the longest warranty we found but we also had our roofer inspect the job after they finished. Everything is working just like they promised., thank you YSG!

You Save Green installed my equipment in my home in Babylon, Long Island 6 months ago and I have not had any problem to date. Everyone should really consider doing the same with YSG. It has been extremely financially affordable. Hands down no regrets at all!!!

Ive been very happy with YSG. When I researched getting a ground mount system, their price was comparable to a competitor, but they had a much better financing option. The installation was in winter, so they dug the 125+ trench to tie where the system would be to the house ahead of the main install. Once they started the main construction, it was done in about 3 days. Our utility company had to put in a new meter to track production and usage, as well. The monitoring software is very easy to use and helpful to track production, comparing month-to-month and year-to-year.The only issue we had was probably unlikely to hit most people. The Federal Tax Refund that helped with half the financing was non-refundable, meaning, you must owe the taxes to get it back as a refund. So 2 1/2 years in, were still waiting on about $6k in tax credits. This isnt a YSG Solar issue, but it would have been better to know ahead of time. If you itemize your tax deductions and have more than the standard deduction, this might affect you. But overall, it was a great experience.

I did a lot of research and interviews with Solar installers, then I decided to go with YSG. I am very happy with the service they have provided. I never felt pressured to go solar unlike the other companies. YSG answered all my question and concerns. The whole process was smooth. They communicated with me through every step to make sure I was informed. The panels and inverter they use are highly rated and very efficient. Installation was done professionally. Their customer service is great. If you are thinking of going solar, I would definitely recommend YSG.

One of the best things that I have done is get Solar System for my House, and I’m very happy that I’ve chosen YSG Solar company! The team is very knowledgeable and professional, from start to finish, and relationship continues even long after the install has been done. The system looks beautiful and performs better than expected and estimated. I’m glad that I did not have to cut any trees. When I do something, I research the subject in depth and need to understand everything, and the team at YSG was very patient with me and provided many different options for install and equipment. We went with 36 Panasonic 325W panels, and SolarEdge, which shows me consumption and production. The system has been installed for about 2+ years, and we have a positive surplus of about 6,000kWh.

The team to install led by James and Eric were awesome. They accommodated the ideas I had about the system install and even accommodated some semi last minute equipment changes my husband wanted to make regarding different looking panels. The work looks great and they cleaned up very well. Really nice guys, they even took the time to go over the system with my son so he can keep an eye on it when were out of town for half the year. We had our system installed in June 2020 and have already banked a good amount of power with Coned above what we used, which used to be around $250/month. Couldnt be more satisfied.

We have been receiving letters in the mail for the last 5 years. At one point my wife and I even signed a contract with Cypress Creek only to waste over a year and to get nothing accomplished. YSG really stood out to us being a company that was actually based in New York state instead of most of the other companies who contacted us to lease our land who are in California. The process took over 2 years from the point we signed the lease until the lease payments started. YSG took care of the entire process and it didnt cost us anything. Thank you YSG, the lease payments go towards our retirement and we could not be happier leasing our land to YSG Solar farms. The only regrets we have is not finding YSG sooner

Before I installed my solar system I got estimates from every solar company I could find on the web. I decided to choose YSG solar for the following reasons, theyre a local company, their price was the most reasonable, they were courteous and knowledgeable and more importantly they were very patient with me. Its been more than one year since I installed my solar system and I couldnt be happier. I got all my tax credits back and currently my system is producing much more electricity than expected because of the long and hot summer days. thanks YSG!

I have to start by saying I am very demanding customer I’m not easy to satisfy We start looking into solar in 2014 we met with few companies and we had different offers and different options. but I wasn’t excited about any of them. We keep searching until I find YSG [you save green] on the Internet I give them a call and I spoke with David. and I have to tell you throughout the whole process he never let me down he was available each time I try to reach him and always giving me accurate information’s. he was great and reasonable and any promise he had made definitely he had met. The installation team was great they did their job in 1 1/2 day. The worksite was clean organized. very friendly people. system had been working perfectly sense October 2016. based on my experience they are great people great equipment And very honest. never tried to cut corners and I’m so happy to deal with them and whenever I have the opportunity to recommend them I do so.

I could not be more satisfied with YSG Solar. From start to finish they were professional. From the initial consultation, without knowing what to expect, they explained everything in details. It was truly a no-brainer decision to get solar based on how much it will cost me and how much I will recoup that and how much Ill save beyond that. They took care of ALL the paperwork, explain the loan options, tax benefits, etc. They came, they installed and clean up after themselves. My main concern was what kind of damage is done to my roof. 3 years later, no issue. My electric bill is now about $20, the cost of hooking up to the grid. I even bought a Nissan LEAF. My intention was just to save myself some $$$, but Im so happy that Im doing my part to save the planet and feel really good about it. All thanks to YSG Solar. And yes, they have helped me get the paper work needed to file my taxes and claimed my refund.

We have been looking into solar power for a while and after comparing few companies we decided on YSG! From the moment we signed the contract theyve been very quick and professional on every step. We got our panels installed just a few weeks after the contract. The inspection took two visits to get done. Pseg would not change my meter since I have a small dog in the yard. We have had solar for few years now, and we reduced our electric bill significantly. He set up the monitoring system and we track our power every day since the activation. Amazing how easy it was to produce clean electricity, Thanks to the entire team!

UPDATED: Feb. 22.. Ive kept up with my end of giving this company a 5 Star rating when it actually deserves a 1/2 Star. Thank you for the $150 even though I spent $30 on fuses. So Ive asked for months for the mapping of my system and Im still waiting. I purchased these altered equipment on 8/19. Im tired of dealing with this company. My first company Momentum should of been my first choice. I had a guy feeling about this company and Ive been right. I need help!!! Feb.9, thank you for the $150.00 Amazon Gift card to boost review yo 5 stars. As promised to Ken, I kept up my bargin. I write to report status update of ongoing completion regarding the mapping of panels. Enphase repeat state no mapping by YSG has been executed. I just wait to say the panels are complete after 2years. Jan. 2021 was and is a blessing. The countless hours and extreme professionalism from YSG Solar through this pandemic theyve completed all installation and I received inspection approval. Thank you for always being persistent with this project. 12/2/2020, Im still waiting for the mapping of my panels. Recently had NYC Building Inspector and now made request to see if they had the info. available to complete installation. Also, detected 21 panels of 22 and waiting to.confirm if 22nd is installed. 11/19 Ive waited a week to update my progress. So, I come to find out during the installation Jemal never inserted the fuses. I had to do it myself . Nadia Jagdat a new rep. Handling this case sends me serial numbers like it was old newspaper. Enphase excellent can not complete installation due to YSG incompetence. 11/12/2020. After a year the electrician never connected the panels. Credit score destroyed by Greensky. Making payments to a product that sucks. Paying ConEd monthly. 11/6/2020... After contacting Enphase Envoys to complete installation it was determined that the equipment was not connected to power. After asking to inspect the equipment numerous times and a year has past I can say I have a product that doesnt work. cont. August 2019 I went into contract with YSG Solar. As to date all they provided me with was consistent aggravation. I dealt with 8 representative which each one is incompetent than the other. False hope is what they should be known for. I would not recommend them to anyone as well as Greensky. Anyone has any questions regarding solar panels since Ive become knowledgeable of the company may reach out to me. Still making payments and have a delinquent credit report from this entire process. I feel anyone reporting 5 Stars and it being the only single reporting ever made is to boost business. Beware of their false advertising.

My husband and I had 4 other companies come out to do the presentation on the solar panels. We were very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism before and after the installation. Once the job was done it took about 4-5 weeks to turn the system on since we have to wait for Conedison. This is was the one item I wish we could avoid but thats the electric company for you. YSG Solar has installed solar for several of my co workers and this is how we met them, Thanks again we really appreciate your help!

We had solar installed back in 2015 by YouSaveGreen. The solar works great and our bill has not been above $50. We used to pay over $200! They energy audited our home during the first meeting. We had been impressed with all of the recommendations. He found out our air condition vents had been using more energy since they did not have a seal. This made sense since all of the vents are in our attic.Thanks for the wonderful job!

I would give them 5/5 in workmanship and my satisfaction after all the issues were resolved. (Please see my initial review below.) Since the last review, the system has been connected and working fine. My first solar production started on June 26th and I have a full month of satisfaction since then.One note for anyone trying to finance their system, please make sure you ask about the system base cost and dealer fees separately. Dealer fees is huge 15-20% that bank charges to your solar company and they pass on to you. So if you are financing, you are paying upfront 15-20% extra which is rolled into what you are borrowing. I learned it quite late.======= Initially reviewed on June 25th ========My system was installed over 3 months ago now. Its still not activated yet. First I had to go after them to finish electrical inspection and now for last month Ive been emailing and calling them to activate the system and show me how to monitor, but no concrete response yet.My frustration led me to write my first negative review of the lifetime. After 3rd loan installment and sunny days and no solar power.

Electric bills have been reduced by 90% even when the A/C is at 68. We expect some months with credits when it cools off. System operates hands free and monitoring app is very cool. The information from the monitoring app can lag, we had to change the connection twice times. YSG took care of all the paperwork for us and we just had to sign!

It was a very good installation and overall, my savings each month exceed my loan payment, so the transaction was a success.Update: In July 2019, I banked $74 worth of power in addition to what I used. My electric bill was $17- the monthly minimum charge from Con Ed. Including my loan payment I was still only around ~$100 all-in for the month that has historically been my most expensive summer month- last year (no solar) the bill was $450.Great performance.

As soon as I mentioned an issue, they were on it. The converter box has a plug so when we have sun we can keep our fridge and a fan running. That is a very nice bonus feature.
