Ive worked with Prime Renovations three times in the past 10 years, first with a small job and the last one was a complete renovation of a large co-op in Chelsea. This was a total gut renovation. Jeff interfaced well with both the super in the building (who is extremely difficult to work with) and the architect (whom I fired and Jeff had to take over for). Jeff was with me all the way, helping me pick out materials and he actually stopped me from making a few mistakes that looking back I would not have been happy with. He is fair and communicative. If things are going to be late he lets you know up front, not at the last minute. Also, if additional requests are going to change timing or costs he also lets me know that upfront, not with a surprise change order at the end. And best he stands behind his work, even after the job has been done and hes been completely paid. Ive recommended him to other friends who have also been satisfied with his work, and some of them are difficult to please.

I highly recommend Jeff Streich and Prime Renovations. We got quotes from 3 contractors and we are so thankful we went with Prime Renovations.Our apartment had a lot of work needed to be done, and our timeframe to move in was short. We needed a contractor who was responsive, efficient, and reliable. Jeff ticked all the boxes and was able to get everything done in time.

As an architect, Ive worked with countless contractors, and can speak to how different Jeff and his team are from the others out there. Jeff and his team worked masterfully on the renovation of my condo project in the UWS. From the initial walkthrough, I knew that I could count on him to work creatively with me throughout the construction process. We ran into several hitches along the way (picky client who wanted things done a certain way, a pipe that we had to work around, strict building management rules, and product delivery issues), but Prime Renovations made sure that none of the issues would compromise the integrity of the project or the timeline. Although the change orders were not cheap, our project came in at less than 20% above their initial quote, which was very reasonable to begin with, and was finished weeks ahead of schedule! Highly recommend Prime Renovations to anyone looking for a team that will deliver a quality project.

Jeff and his firm deserve 10 stars and I wish there was a way to rate them that way.Jeff, Dorothy and every team member and sub assigned to both jobs were professional, responsible, ethical, creative, talented and ALWAYS exhibited a can-do attitude every step of the way.Everyone really had my satisfaction and delivering quality work as their goal. When issues arose, as they always do in construction, they informed me immediately, and offered brilliant suggestions, work arounds and SOLUTIONS... vs just saying ‘we have a problem’ or blaming someone else.I have probably worked with over 15 contractors in my time with VERY mixed reviews, but after two consistently delivered projects, completed on time and UNDER budget with PRIME it’s my honor to say all of the above, plus add that it was a pleasure to work with Jeff and his teams.... my designer who originally only wanted to work with his go to firm was similarly blown away and is now using Prime as his go to contractor.Thanks again Jeff! Jeff and his team were a pleasure to work with on our apartment renovation. They provided some great design ideas that are some of the favorite parts of the renovation. Jeff was responsive to issues and he made sure that some fixes and retouches were taken care of in a timely way after the work was finished. Ian is particularly great to work with. Thank you!
