The best kind of service call - fixing and learning!! Was recommended to Federal Mechanical Contractors as good licensed techs who could work in city of Wilmington. Appointment was easy to setup, and they actually called me back when they had an earlier spot - yes and thank you! Tech arrived on time and really was professional with both his respect of my house and his review of my old boiler system.I got a quick lesson on home maintenance and some pointers for keeping my system top notch - then he solved my problem, and was out the door for under $300. It was a great experience and I highly recommend them for both treatment and service.

Having bought an older house, I was in desperate need of a new air conditioner (the old one would only work when it felt like it). I called up Federal Mechanical to get an estimate, along with several other local guys, and they were by far the cheapest and most amenable to my schedule. The installer was friendly, answered all my questions, and get the job done in less time than estimated. We have been enjoying our finely cooled house ever since!

Needed 2 HVACs. Quote was competitive. The guys who did the work were awesome. Job done in June. When turning the heat on this week, a small glitch. They were here within the hour to fix a small wiring issue. No questions asked. If you use another company, good luck. Cochran and Federal are the best!
