    We love Prefered! Been using them for 6 years.They come to us at the drop of a hat. Always professional, well informed and reliable.We had an issue recently with a toilet in our rental. The guest was due to arrive within hours and Preferred technician came right away and saved the day!We would never call anyone else.

    Called Preferred Home Services on a Saturday evening because my elderly parents lost power to quite a few electrical outlets in their home and they had a wonderful electrician by the name of John out there by noon on Sunday. John was courteous, professional, and competent. He fixed the issue within one hour and this company could easily have charged a ton of money for a Sunday repair but they did not. They were very fair and reasonable in what they charged. This son is very grateful for Preferred Home Services and John their electrician for taking care of my elderly parents. Will recommend them going forward for my Summerville friends.

    Ryan was a polite, professional, and competent technician. Honest and upfront about prices and options. A little inconvenienced when first appointment was canceled but they got out to me first thing the next morning. Pulled up the toilet, cleared the drain, and put the toilet back in place in just over an hour.

    Josh, Sam and Steven were very professional, courteous and technically very qualified to install 50 gallon hot water heater in my daughterā€™s attic. Josh was my initial contact and actually made the sale and Sam and Steven were the technicians. I was impressed with their work ethic and knowledge. They were punctual answered all of my questions. They had all necessary tools. The tank was installed within a few hours and they were on their way. I would recommend, these three individuals as well as preferred home services for your plumbing or Air Conditioning installation/repairs. Compared to the other three quotes that I received for the water heater installation, their price was very fair considering cost today versus four years ago.

    Last night, our garbage disposal, decided that it would like to share the water in it system with the bottom of our kitchen cabinet. We try hard to keep them separated.In order to succeed, we contacted Preferred Home Services and they sent someone this morning, Christmas Eve. The service was great.     Technician Herelle was absolutely phenomenal. Dispatch team not so much. I made an appointment for 10:30 am and they do not tell you if you are not glued to your phone expecting to answer their call when they are on the way they skip your appointment without stopping by even if youā€™re at home waiting. 20 minutes later I called inquiring when to expect them since they were late and met with nothing but rudeness. And could not even been given a ballpark time as to when I was pushed back to.

    I used Preferred Home Services for a couple of electrical issues that I just needed someone who had experience and could troubleshoot for me. Joey was the experience that I needed to find my problem and he actually fixed one of my issues. Preferred Home Services also kept in touch with me through text and actually sent a text with Joeys picture allowing my wife and I a heads up of who was coming. I would 100% recommend them for electrical issues you may have. Though they tried to up sale me on stuff I didnt want the technician was not pushy which I appreciated. I will definitely use them again.

He professionally installed the new system which could have been done the same day. Heā€™s kind, knowledgeable and professional. My technician, Stephen Ross thoroughly checked and adjusted everything until he got it up and running again. He left no stone unturned.     Iā€™m very happy that I chose Preferred Home Services to make repairs to my electrical system. The outlets that needed to be repaired were done quickly and efficiently. I was asked if I needed services or not for things that didnā€™t need emergent repair and was given the options. I have to replace a ceiling and walls from a water leak that my insurance wonā€™t cover so money is a little tight. It seems that there were a lot of things I wasnā€™t aware of when I bought the house. I will definitely use PHS again. Joey was very knowledgeable, polite and explained everything as he made repairs. I even bought the service agreement for $16.50 per month. I hope I never have to use it but itā€™s better to be safe than sorry!

    7/25 - Brooks performed my annual ac cleaning perfectly. He was courteous, professional, and thorough. He took many pictures of the services performed, and explained everything in detail. He has very strong work ethic, and is dedicated to his craft. Thank you Brooks!7/26 - Last night our compressor began to fail. Mike arrived promptly to assess the situation. Mike ascertained that it was a failed component within the compressor. The a/c is under warranty, so Mike handled all the logistics and installation free-of-charge. So far, I have yet to meet anyone at Preferred that wasnt dedicated and professional in handling our a/c service needs. Preferred is like the one honest car mechanic you know...you just dont want to work with anyone else. Thank you Preferred!

    The scheduler on the phone was wonderful and efficient. Loy fixed a broken piece on my toilet and didnā€™t try to upsell anything or offer more expensive ways to fix the problem. He chose the most correct and concise way to fix my problem. They were out here with in an hour when I called in the evening so that is another plus!

The tech showed up on time and completed very thoroughly services on all units , he also took very detailed photos for my records .     Outstanding service! My 4-year old unit was damaged by the electrical outages of the last hurricane. Rome came out to assess the damage, ordered the parts under warranty, and worked diligently to repair the unit. Additional new parts had to be ordered and Rome returned until my HVAC unit was working 100%. He tested both the heat and the AC to be sure the unit was fully functional. Rome was very professional and an excellent representative of this company. Thanks.

    I had an initial frustration with the price of service compared to the work done. The company went out of their way to contact me and clear up the confusion. I was billed as a repair visit for a non-functional unit which wasnt the case. Moving forward scheduling as an inspection for a working unit would be better. The company did a great job clearing up the situation and negotiating a fair price for the services provided. They are willing to adjust the price and reperform the maintenance which is great. Great customer service so my opinion is updated. Thanks for listening and working with me.Original Post:((Ive had an issue with my AC drain line for a while so I called them out to fix it. Quoted over $700 to clean the line and remove water from drip pan. I mentioned that it seemed high and found I could remove the water myself and save $300. Technician spent 5 min clearing the clogged drain line from outside and stayed with the $400 price. I agreed to the upsell of BOGO overall inspection for $100. Once agreed technician didnt look at indoor unit again and spent 5 min at outside unit before spending 25 min in their vehicle. Overall the problem was fixed but massive price for very little work. Wouldnt recommend.))
