    An overdue review but I had a new Heat Pump Water Heater with Drain Town in February 2024. Overall great experience with this company. They do thorough clean work and eager to earn your business.Consultation: Dakota came within 2-3 days of me submitting an inquiry for a new Heat Pump Water Heater. Told him my preferences and plans to reroute water lines and actual unit into my garage. I had a lot of inquiries regarding models, efficiency, and what needed to be done on my end. Dakota and his team definitely have their recommendations but I did a significant amount of research in what specific models I wanted installed. I was sitting on a few quotes and Dakota had reached out and his receptiveness to my inquiries, concerns, and timing won me over.Installation: I would like to preface there ended up being some complications(to no ones fault) during my install so instead of having my work done within 2 days it ended up being 2.5 days. Dakota was unable to start installation however he was able to finish up on the final day. Work was clean, to my preferences, and to spec with Santa Ana permit code. I was very impressed with the work.Would definitely have this team come out for any Drain/Water Heater needs.

    I had a very positive experience with Jerod, Gabriel, Aaron and Eric. We have an older hillside home that had collapsing cast iron pipes. They need to cut into the downstairs foundation, dig 4 feet down to expose all the old pipes with multiple connections. They replaced all the cast iron and had it all back together by the end of the 4th day. It was s very messy job but they kept the mess confined and left the house very neat. They had a wonderful referral for a tile guy to replace the bathroom tiles that had to be removed. Everyone of them was courteous, considerate and communicated every step of the way. It wasn’t cheap, but I am happy to pay when the experience was excellent.

    Overall, I’d definitely recommend Drain Town Rooter! They moved my appt up due to an opening coming available sooner. The tech recommended everything I needed and provided details about the problem I had. Replaced my water heater up to code in a short period of time the following day. Didn’t even need to be home for them to get the job done. Great service, highly recommend!

    Dakota installed a tankless water heater at my residence. He was very communicative and explain everything thoroughly so I could understand what he was doing and why. He was very clear and explaining all the options to me and answering all my questions when I called him several times prior to the installation. He did a clean and professional job and the water heater works great. The pricing was extremely competitive and lower than the other bids I received.

    Great experience with Drain Town Rooter. Ryan, the owner, was very friendly and had excellent communication during my over night plumbing emergency. He walked me through how to slow down the issue until him and his team could arrive in the morning. Ryan and Jugo were very friendly and efficient, they talked me through the issue the whole way. They made sure they brought towels to avoid any messes and cleaned up after they fixed the issue.My faucet works better than it ever has!The price was reasonable as well.I will be calling Ryan for any future plumbing needs!

    Drain Town Rooter is by far the best plumbing service I have ever used. Cannon came out, was very compassionate, diagnosed my problem, gave me the different options, no pressure by the way, and then got to work. He even had those shoe covers, nice touch. Very professional, super nice guy and very knowledgeable. I so recommend these guys. I have had a different plumbing company come out each time over the years, but I will be sticking to these guys from now on! I will also be asking for Cannon by name.

    One of our pipes on the side of our house, bursted with water. After we shut the water. I contacted Drain Town Rooter. I was able to get a plumber late in the day. Dakota came to our house and was very friendly and explained everything that he needed to do to fix our problem. To be honest, the price he gave us was really high and I know I should have gotten other estimates before we decided. With that being said, we ended up hiring him because he seem so knowledgeable and experienced and we needed it done. He ended up ordering the parts and had to do the job the following morning. He was on time and actually did an awesome job on it. Even though we paid an outrageous amount of money, we were still happy with his excellent service and attention to detail. I just referred him to my sister for her plumbing issue and I will definitely refer this plumbing company and Dakota to family and friends. Please commend Dakota for providing us us with outstanding service. Thank you.

    This is my second experience with this company, and it was as good as my first one. My guy showed up on time, explained the problem clearly, and did the replacement. We now have a brand new toilet, he had to measure and compare, as the door to our bathroom comes within a millimeter of the side of the toilet. He checked, and rechecked to be sure it would fit correctly. He was competent and efficient, and overall a nice person. Would absolutely recommend them again, and if I need anything more, these are the folks I will call.

    Our bathrooms suffered a complete blockage shortly after Christmas, and having had two great prior experiences working with Drain Town Rooter, we decided to give them a call and request their services. They showed up extremely quickly, assessed the situation, and were very knowledgable about the potential approaches towards resolving the blockage. Later, we were informed that our house due to its age was missing some crucial access points required to access the bathroom plumbing. This point would have to be installed after digging up some earth around the house and locating the line connecting the bathrooms to the main sewage. Although the process required lots of labor, the drain town rooter team remained professional throughout, and managed to resolve some tricky situations due to the age of the property. Would definitely recommend to any other homeowners seeking to resolve some tough problems!

    I had a backed up kitchen sink drain line. My wife called Drain Town Rooter and David Zamorano came out. He was professional , knowledgeable and extremely polite. David spent time assessing what needed to be done and went to work. He cleared the drain after a short time and our emergency fix was handled.He advised me that a good way to help clean out the line with a more long term fix is having them use a hydro jet on the line. I will definitely take his advice in the near future.Congratulations to Drain Town Rooter for having such a good employee as David.     This company is the best for your plumbing needs, and please dont confuse them with Roto Rooter, no affiliation at all. They are family owned and Ryan, the owner is a genuine humanitarian with very reasonable prices and will work with you. His crew is stellar and very personable. Ryan also does emergency services 24/7. If you dont try this company at least once, you will truly regret it. You can find them on the web and they are listed on Yelp. If you look them up on Yelp, you will be amazed at all of the wonderful reviews they have been given, trust me!

    July 23, 2024Drain Town Rooter replaced an old leaky outdoor faucet that was welded on with an outdoor faucet that is threaded on. The outdoor faucet no longer leaks and can now be easily replaced in the future with two pliers!March 27, 2024Drain Town Rooter replaced the failed pressure regulator and old piping by the front of the house, added expansion tank and sediment trap, reset the toilet in share bathroom, and replaced a hot water supply line. The work was done well and cleanly. There was a slight issue where the cold water valve could not be shut off because it was blocked by the scale inhibition system. Drain Town Rooter sent out the same plumber to fix the issue the next morning. I am happy with their work and plan to use them for other plumbing upgrades.

    This company is AMAZING! This is the second time we have used them. Connor was the person that repaired the pipes this time and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about him!!!!     I just had a toilet leak and called Ryan at Drain Town Rooter, they were able to schedule a tech right away. They replaced toilet Felage and wax ring and reset the toilet.Really happy with the work and quick service.I had recently used their services for water heater leak. First tech that came out couldn’t diagnose the issue properly. I was bit unhappy as the leak continued. I was frustrated and unhappy. Few days later called back and requested them to come out again, I received a call back from Ryan their owner and what a pleasant and knowledgeable person he is and cares to resolve the issues. He listed to my complaint and went above and beyond to reschedule during holidays and replaced my water heater.     Lets start by saying Cannon saved our weekend! We were experiencing some major issues with our main drain line. It was backing up which is made it so we couldnt use our plumbing. This is a problem that we have from time to time since we have older pipes, and it always seems to happen on a weekend. Usually we tough it out until the weekday assuming that having a plumber come out on the weekend would be extremely expensive. This time we decided to see what the rates are for a plumber to come on a Sunday, so we called Drain Town. April answered the phone and was fantastic. She was very patient with me and my disbelief that it was SO reasonable for a tech from Drain Town to come to my house on a Sunday afternoon. I was sure there was a catch this was too good to be true...but she assured me there wasnt. Cannon was at our home approximately 30 minutes after I spoke with April at the office. Our drain issue was fixed within about 20 minutes. Cant say enough how grateful we are to Drain Town, Cannon and April. Would definitely recommend this wonderful company!

    Buddy came out when we were in a major bind. House was middle of a reno when we had a sewage leak just before Thanksgiving. And he did it for $2k less than the other bid. He took care of us. Then on Black Friday we found a brand new leak. He took care of that too. Plumbings not cheap but a fair price and great service are hard to find.

    We had a sewer back up. Garrett from Draintown Rooter was able to come out, and was able to open up a backstop that ceased the immediate emergency. His price for the service and call was very reasonable and he stayed longer to make sure we got connected to another plumber who worked on the HoA property regularly. Apparently the sewer pipe had a buried valve over a foot underground. The common line was also blocked by some kind of construction material that even a jet hose couldn’t resolve. They had to unearth the pipe in multiple locations and shoot the jet through and filter out the debris. Very much appreciate Garrett’s assistance in getting us going on a solution!

They removed the toilet and ran a camera to see what was causing our long term problem and removed an old broken builder’s sewer valve. A long term mess dating back 30 years, finally solved.     Hi, we were very impressed with the professionalism that our plumber Garrett and his knowledge to our plumbing issues. He was very informative and direct about what was to be done and for what reasons they were needed without the sales pitch. Garrett let us view what was going on in our main drainage pipes with their camera and explained the issues in depth and what he thought was to be done with lots of consideration to our long and short term fixes and timing with the problem. We also had them replace our water heater to a tankless water heater and they did an amazing job on that too. Garrett and the crew were very easy to talk with and very respectful. The owner Ryan was very considerate of our issue also and helped in everyway he could with financing and pricing.To say the least we had a very good experience with Garrett, the crew and Ryan the owner, they did an amazing job and would recommend them highly!     I called Drain Town Rooter at 3pm for a problem with my water heater. Garrett was at my house within an hour and determined what the issue was (unfortunately had to order a new water heater).     Drain Town was really helpful, even if they were unable to solve my problem. I called them out to hydrojet my exterior drain which seemed to have slow water flow. Organizing and scheduling the meeting was easy, and the plumber was perfectly on time within the window we scheduled. We went over the paperwork and agreed that even if they hydrojet couldnt solve the problem, I would still have to pay. Well, the plumber was able to only get about 6 inches into the drain before encountering a solid root block and was unable to continue. Instead of charging the full amount, they offered to only charge me the fee for setting up and taking down the hydro jet machine, as well as set me up to get scheduled for a further quote to replace the entire pipe.

My downstairs toilet was draining slowly after 1 flush and refusing to go down after a 2nd flush - fortunately no overflow. Jared was a man of service and provided top-notch plumbing expertise. Everyone there communicated clearly and walked me through the process of what to expect. They explained that they would de-scale the pipe and then do a pressure jetting cleaning for a packaged price. When the de-scaling process was executed to perfection and the jetting was not necessary, instead of doing it anyways and upcharging me, they simply explained that it wasnt necessary, they resolved the underlying issue, and then they removed the extra charge.     Drain Town Rooter plumbers are amazing. We had a leak in an old upstairs bathroom shower. Gabrielle, the plumber, replaced the 3-valve shower to a single valve, modernizing the shower. He very carefully cut through the porcelain and lathe and plaster. He cleverly extended the valve away from the copper tubing so that the shower handle could properly seat. He was thoughtful and methodical. We are very satisfied with his work. Thank you, Gabrielle. Good to know that Drain Town does a 5-year warranty on their work.

    Derick did a $100 job for us, but he worked as if he was doing a $1,000 job. He was able to clear a blockage that another company was unable to. That other company wanted to do extensive.analysis and possibly bringing in the heavy machinery. But Derick got it done in about thirty minutes.     I chose this company randomly from the internet. I thought I just had a clogged drain that needed to be snaked out. They came out within a couple of hours, rooted then scoped the drains and showed me that my cast iron drains had been invaded by roots. Well, it took a week to replace the old drains in my slab. I had them replace the water pipes that were in the slab as well. They had a huge cadre of skilled plumbers. They were very respectful with my house and furnishings. They cleaned up after themselves. They had all of the personnel and equipment and executed the job with great skill and organization. There were some unexpected findings which they addressed at a reasonable price. I was very very happy with their work. I feel very fortunate to have happened upon them. I would use them again and again and would recommend them to anyone!!

    My home had a mainline block and thats a real pain. I called 2 rooter services and Drain Tower was able to get someone over later in the day. That was great. Then, even better, they called back when an earlier spot opened up. Great service. They used sms and email to keep me updated on booking and timing of visit. Right on time, Buddy showed up at my door. Very personable guy. Easy to talk with and has a good sense of humor. He got to work quickly and had the pipe cleared in like 15 minutes. He provided very helpful info about possible causes and how to avoid them in the future. Ran his pipe camera and showed me the likely causes. As a courtesy, he tightened a leaky hose bib. Also, he noticed the rusting gas meter pipes on side of house and recommended rust removal and repaint to avoid future issues. Overall, seems concerned about customer experience and quality work. I should note that I was given a quote over the phone, pending Buddys analysis. When he arrived, he assessed immediately and was able to stick with the quote. Thanks! Ill likely call again.

    EDIT - I had a good conversation with the owner after posting my review. He politely pointed out my review was based on false information. Additional research showed he was correct. Local competitors actually charged more for the fix than Drain Town Router.     I am very impressed with this company. David arrived promptly and gave us different options to fix our old 1960s pipes. The insides of the pipes had shrank in diameter which caused frequent calls to a plumber. We had used a big company for many, many, years but in the past 5 years, they have been aggressively trying to upcharge their services. Funnily enough, no matter what drain needs to be cleared, some dire random problem had to be fixed as well. Every time, we had a minimum $2K to $7K quote to fix various problems. When we declined, we had to battle the aggressive sales tactics. In fact, the last time they came, they said they would not clear the drains anymore unless we paid $2000 plus for him to change a pipe because it takes him more than 20 minutes to clear it. The best thing we liked about David, other than the fact that he is a genuinely nice guy, was that he gave us our options, and never pressured or threatened us to a fix. He absolutely understood that finances are tight for everyone. He even ran into some issues and never once did we hear a complaint. He will be our go to plumber from now on. THANKS David!

Before this, I had not written a review for any company because I had always felt that contractors should not be complimented for just doing their job. However, I am making an exception because the DRAIN TOWN ROOTER exceeded all my expectations.First, Alan came out and provided an estimate for replacing a cracked drain pipe. The price was reasonable, and the next day, Derrick came and replaced the pipe (Excellent job).Next, since we have experienced several slab leaks, Allen suggested repiping the entire house. Again, the price was reasonable, and they completed the repiping in one day, except for a complication associated with replacing the under-slap piping to the kitchen island. Drain Towns approach is where our expectations were exceeded. To resolve the issue, Ryan, the owner, Dakota, and Derrick spent the entire day testing and analyzing various options; they did not try to make excuses or increase the price. Their concern was to solve the situation. The solution went smoothly and was non-disruptive.     It was Saturday afternoon when I received a call from my elderly parents. Their sewer pipes in their Mobilehome were clogged and the water was backing up through the drains. I called several high profile “Diamond” and “Roto” level plumbers and they assured me they’d be there in 2 days! He than went outside and tried another clean out access, but that one wasnt tied to the sink. He then found a 3rd clean out hidden behind some bushes.     Thank you so much David and staff at draintown Rooter!!!... Five stars all the way. David was able to come out for a free estimate same day, came back in the morning got the job done in about an hour and a half or less. Very difficult job he pretty much could only get one arm in the area to do the whole job which was unbelievable 😱😇. I first had to get a quote from my Association plumbers to see if it was my responsibility or Association?.. Turns out it was our responsibility they wanted $800 to only do half of the cast pipe whereas David said I really think you need to do the whole pipe as it is wearing out also. Close to half the price of our association as well as doing a full and complete job whereas my Association would not have even gone that extra mile. So many compliments I can really hardly write them all but we are customers for life. When you have a good plumber tip a good plumber because we have had some pretty bad experiences. I must say this is one of the best experiences Ive ever had with any Contracting type situation!!! God bless you all and thank you so very very much. I will be referring to all of my other neighbors and the association in regards to this matter that David showed me. As these cast pipes are wearing out after all these years so hoping to get you a lot more business in my neighborhood once I go to the board with this situation.
