Joe came out at 5pm on a Friday, 2 days after Christmas, in the rain to pump our septic (that was full)! Not only was he quick, he did a great job and was super nice. Great work, great communication and a great price for the work. Definitely recommend!! We’ll be using Watkins Septic again for sure, and will recommend to family and friends! I would give more than 5 stars if I could! Thanks Joe!

Our alarm on our septic tank was going off due to a faulty pump in the pump chamber. Originally had called over 10 other companies and not a single one called me back except Watkins. Came out told me exactly what was needed, removed the old pump, installed a brand new one and took care of the problem in a very timely manor. They are very knowledgeable, very respectful and always put their customers first. I will never call another company again for my septic tank needs. If I could give them more than a 5 star rating, I 1000% would!!!! Highly recommended!!!!

Had them come out for septic clean out and riser install.They were fast and communicative.Jared was the technician that pumped our septic he was great and personable and a very happy guy. The riser install was the next day and was performed by the owner of the company he was great and personable as well. The riser was installed quickly.

Thankful they were able to squeeze me in for emergency service when my toilet stopped wanting to flush. Sucked out my septic. Grateful I decided to call them since they were able to jet out my pipes that were clogged also. A bit pricey, but Ill take it after an 80% sludge filled septic.

I called Watkins to have my septic tanks emptied. I explained to Carly how I needed my tanks located and it was no issue for them. Every time I talked to her, she was friendly and was great to converse with.When her and Joe came out today, the tanks were able to be found quickly through prodding. To save on cost, I dug up one cover while Joe dug up the other one (which I greatly appreciated).The job was done within 1 hour, and was done with the utmost care and quality. Carly took pictures to go with the measurements that Joe took for my records.Overall, I highly recommend this company for septic services, and am one happy customer that will definitely be using Watkins in the future.

The BEST experience I have had with a business in a very long time! Joe is amazingly knowledgeable and a gets the job done THE RIGHT WAY! He is professional and determined to help! I went through 1 no show, 6 unanswered phone calls and 1 others that couldn’t make it until later in the week. We moved into a new home and I called Watkins to check out our Septic Tank and empty it. Watkins did a great job for a fair price. My initial call to the office talking to Carly was great as she scheduled the appointment right away and educated me a little on what they will do. Her husband Joe came out to the house to do the work right on time and did a great job and also talked to me through the job telling me what he was doing and letting me know how the system worked. We will for sure have Watkins service our septic again when needed. Great work from them!

Getting off a job onto the next one by 2pm Joe managed to squeeze us in. Had a clogged drain to the septic, a pregnant wife, water a such backing up into the house on the basement drain. I explained it to Joes wife on the phone, she called Joe a Joe came in clutch in less than 30mins. Was well worth the money spent. Everything cleaned up an a happy wife. We got ahold of Watkins Septic after having our septic tank pumped 9 days earlier from another company and we needed a riser installed. Come to find out Watkins uncovered the fact that the previous company left a foot of Sludge in our tank. Joe and his wife were kind enough to educate us on the details, clean our filter for us, come back out within a couple days and repump our tank (correctly) and install a riser for us. In the meantime, the other company (Brendel’s, continued to add insult to injury with dragging out an in person visit, then act like the Mrs. was in the wrong and claimed they would refund the pumping (all with more attitude than I’ve ever seen in customer service in my life, and weeks have gone by all with no refund. I attempted to call and leave voicemails but with no return) Watkins saved the day!

Joe and his wife are both great. I spoke with her initially regarding the appointment, pricing, and so on. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. And of note, price wise - they are incredibly fair. As this was our first experience with having a septic, I did some research on pricing, reviews, and so on. There was only one company that offered a lower quote, however, based on poor reviews regarding inaccuracy of price quotes, quality, punctuality, and professionalism, we werent willing to risk it. And Im so glad we didnt. On the day of the appointment, Joe was great as well. He called prior to arriving, was friendly, efficient, and offered recommendations for future care. Overall, very happy and planning to use their services going forward.

Joe came out to pump my septic. He was very polite, friendly, prompt, and quick at his work. Our septic has been omitting a stinky odor for the last 5 years that a previous company wasnt able to pin point. I asked Joe about it and he found that we had a bad deal on our cover. The first time we used them was an emergency situation and a Saturday and I was pretty hopeless that we would get assistance beimg that it was Saturday but surprisingly Watkins came out Saturday afternoon and fixed our issue(s) promptly and very affordable as well. We use them for regular service now and scheduling service is fast, unlike a lot of other companies that tell you it will be weeks before they can service you.We were new to a septic system when we bought our home and we are so happy to have found Watkins, a reliable, trust worthy company. Joe Came over on a Saturday afternoon and went down into our crawl space and cleaned out a drain that was plugged. He got there right on time and saved me a huge amount of money. Roto Rooter had quoted us $7500 the get into the crawl and make the fix. Joe quickly diagnosed the problem and made the fix quickly and permanently. I cant thank him enough for the job he did for us. His rates are totally reasonable and he knows exactly what he is doing. If you have a drain problem definitely call Joe Watkins!

Best ever! Had a clog in drain pipe leading to septic. First called Bills Plumbing & Sewer in Waterford, had to wait 2 days with septic backup in basement and unable to use water. Charged 128.00 for service call for them to tell us to have septic pumped, which we do every spring, and if still a problem they would come back out {and charge another service call} Brendells came same day, said septic was fine. Called Watkins drain cleaning, came an hour later cleared drain and charged less than Bills service call to do nothing. Thank You Joe for great service. 5 star all the way

Joe is a life saver! I recently bought a house and I was told during the inspection that I wouldnt need to worry about having the septic emptied for a while. Flash forward to January when my drains started moving very slowly, if at all. I first called a different plumbing company (cant remember the name now, it was just the first one I could find on HomeAdvisor). They came out, attempted to run a snake and charged me over $400 to tell me it was a septic problem and that I needed to call a company to empty my tank. Of course, at this point I started getting backup in my shower and I was unable to flush my toilet. Being new to the area and having never dealt with a septic tank before, I first tried calling another company which never bothered to return my call. Two week of having to borrow family members bathrooms later, I was finally referred to Brendels. Joe came out and pumped the tank, but the sludge had gotten up into the pipes so he came back out that same night, took the toilet off (which thr other guy didnt even bother with) and worked on clearing the drains for hours until my bathroom was running again! I dont know what I would have done without him, would HIGHLY recommend

I had Watkins come out and clean my septic. It was a last minute thing for me and they were able to come out that day and empty my tank. We didnt realize how much a 3 year old adds lol it was so bad that my line had to be jetted out. Joe was great and explained the whole process to me. Their prices are better than most of the other companies around me. He even quoted me for a raised access lid for my old septic so I dont have to dig it up every year. I will be calling them from now on.

Update, they responded very quickly to my concern, and fixed everything! They added more dirt where it had sunk, and reseated a lid that had a rock under to prevent odor.I will use them for septic needs in future.They pointed out the invoice does say they do not remove dirt. My tank was deep, so there was more left over dirt than usual.Very unsatisfied with the work and approach.Had them out to pump my septic tank.They talked me into installing risers.I had uncovered holes for a week, because they dont move the sprinkler lines or gutter drain.Since the sprinkler company was delayed, and wouldnt move the gutter line, they came back and moved them, for an additional fee.However they left me with mounds of dirt, a torn up landscape bed, and broken off tree limbs.I will not use them ever again.I guess doing the complete job, and doing it well is a thing of the past.

Watkins is a family owned business that was very professional and knowledgeable! We’ve lived in our house 18 years and have used other septic companies but Watkins will be our go to from now on! Joe at Watkins came to the rescue after 1 plumber called and said they couldn’t make it when we already confirmed and a second plumber came to my house and couldn’t finish the job! After not having such good luck I found Watkins Drain cleaning on google. Joe immediately retuned my call and confirmed to me he would be able to do the job and he was really confident, which I was excited because my kitchen sink had already been clogged for 2.5 days at this point. I told Joe I lived in Hartland and he said no big deal I can be their tonight between 6:30-7:30 I agreed, thanked him and went on with my day. Joe actually showed up at 6 he was early which was awesome, he came prepared and with that confidence I heard over the phone. Poor Joe was at my house for 2.5 hours my pipes put up a great fight but Joe never stopped never showed that he was struggling never once acted like he was going to throw in the towel like the plumber before hand he definitely pushed until my pipes were clear. Watkins will and does the job right is very reasonable in price you definitely will not regret your choice when you go through Watkins!!!
