We bought our house a few years ago and the other night experienced a loss of pressure and surges in temperature in our showers. I called Rick’s plumbing the next morning since they were the ones that installed the hot water tank for our previous owners. They had Danny (the service manager) out that day to take a look at the issue. Danny figured out the issue quickly while fielding questions from our 6 and 4 year old. We figured out the replacement unit needed and how we were going to pay with honestly the best pricing in the area (Madison). I received a call the next night that the team was available to install the water heater 7am the next morning. Zach, Dante and Caleb showed right at 7am ready to install the unit. They were professional and polite the entire time.It’s sadly rare to encounter good customer service, outside of great customer service. Between direct communication with Rick and Dara over text to get the right unit ordered and payment processed, to the service from Danny, Zach, Dante and Caleb you honestly couldn’t ask for more. Everyone was straight forward and provided the best information that you needed. I won’t hesitate to recommend to anyone else that needs their services. Thank you again Rick and team!

I contacted Ricks plumbing to fix my kitchen sink and advice/estimate an another issue. They sent out Mr. Lee Bradshaw who was very professional and had a wealth of knowledge. He fixed my sink with out needing to replace the faucet with parts from his truck in a matter of minutes, saving me big time. Then went on to give me some great advice about a few other issues. They where able to get him out to me quickly even though it technically wasnt am emergency. Overall it was great experience and I highly recommend Lee. He will be my go to plumber from now.

We had reached out on Friday, sent pictures and had an estimate within an hour. Paid a deposit on Friday for materials and the new water heater was installed by noon on Monday. Old water heater lasted 22 years hoping for similar performance from the new one.

My experience with Joe and Brandon was phenomenal! We had a burst in our garage and Joe and Brandon came out as soon as they could to help. They were extremely polite, even took their shoes off to come up into the house! They explained everything to me in easy to understand terms so I really felt like I knew what the problem was and how they were recommending to fix it. They gave me the cost breakdown without being pushy and were able to fix it on the same day! Jonathan was right on time. We had a valve on a gas line for a stove that needed to be changed. He looked at it and gave us an estimate right there. We ok’d the estimate and he went right to work. He shut off the gas outside and he finished the job in what seemed like no time at all. He cleaned up the area where the stove was and then hooked up the new stove and then relit the furnace. Jonathan was very friendly and easy to talk to. I will not hesitate to call Ricks Plumbing the next time I need some work done.

Would like to share our experience with Dan from Ricks plumbing.We have used Ricks for installation and repair work for about 5 years and Dan has been the technician for all of the work. Dan has installed a garbage disposal , a new water line and hose bib and replace all plumbing fittings in a pedestal sink. Dan takes care to protect the work area and is very through in completing the job. I would not use any plumbing company other than Ricks from Milford. (you get peace of mind for a very reasonable price)

Ricks Plumbing Service SAVED us!!! Cant say enough good about Rick and his team of outstanding professionals (Billy and Jimmy). We searched long and hard for a plumber and even after interviewing several, we simply could not settle on any of the guys who bid for the job. Our gut told us that these other guys were simply not up to the task. Anybody knows that if your project involves plumbing, the right plumber is the key to a successful project. It is extremely hard to find a plumbing service that is reputable, highly proficient, trustworthy and fair all rolled up into one. Well, after a long hard search, we found Ricks Plumbing Service and could not be happier. It started with a major bathroom reno that needed all of our plumbing moved to new locations, INCLUDING a toilet stack (this is when you decide, its not worth it). What a nightmare. Well, we almost gave up after some of the other plumbers said it couldnt be done, then quoted us ridiculous prices even after they hemmed and hawed about the task. Then Ricks guys came in. We thank our lucky stars! These pros reviewed the task at hand, explained in detail what needed to be done, how it would be done, and when it would be done. Price was extremely fair. We signed them on and like we said previously, are wildly happy with the job. Took Ricks team an entire day. These pros werent messing around; they aimed to please. They worked long and hard and cleaned up well at the end of the day. Not to mention, they also noticed a leak in my wet bar area from a previous poor plumbing job and they fixed that too. We also felt safe the entire time these guys were there. We were so happy with the bathroom plumbing job, we re-engaged Ricks Plumbing Service for an even bigger and more complicated emergency radiant floor heat fix issue. Who knew they were radiant heat pros too??? Radiant heat is in a whole other league of its own. Could they fix our issue we wondered? Our previous plumbing for our radiant floor heat (appx 1500 sq. ft) was never installed correctly and our family was at risk for having no heat during the entire month of December. Temperatures were dropping rapidly; it was freezing cold. You cant even begin to imagine the stress and worry. Ricks guys came in (Daniel Paul), and at first literally triaged the situation and then presented us in detail with the plan of attack to get us up and running as quickly, efficiently and cost effectively as possible. They created a systems design solution that worked for our needs and within our budget. We trusted them implicitly because weve already experienced first-hand their capabilities. Ricks team spent the 4 days leading up to Christmas relentlessly correcting our issue and getting us up and running with heat again. Not to mention, the job passed inspection with flying colors. They even remained on-call at a moments notice, to tweak things here and there, even DURING Christmas. Sorry, but you simply cannot ask for better service than that. Once again Ricks Plumbing Service legit saved us and our Christmas and we are extremely thankful for their services. We are thrilled to have found a life-long professional and honest plumbing service that we can count on, and trust us, you will too if you engage Ricks Plumbing Service.

I detected a leak on my 15-year-old Navien tankless water heater. Tried to find a plumber and found such great reviews for Ricks that I called them. The response was quick and I had somebody here the next day. Bill and Evan were amazing! They told me my options and were very careful to let me see all of the parts of the water heater that were failing. I felt respected and heard Since they kindly answered all of my questions. They were very knowledgeable. And we decided to install a new water heater. They came back almost immediately and within three or four hours. The whole job was done and I am now happy with my new water heater. Excellent service from Bill and Evan. They were extremely knowledgeable and courteous. I wanted a very specific model, top of the line, Rheem Professional Proterra model PROP t2 375 SO, hybrid water heater, which was not in stock anywhere and needed to be manufactured. I worked with several plumbers to get estimates but Jay, from Ricks Plumbing, was the only one who could identify the exact model and order it. Once it arrived, Jay scheduled an installation date and was installed within days of the order arriving. He has team install it very quickly and at a great price. Jay and his team were very professional and friendly. Jay was extremely helpful throughout the entire process, provided excellent input into my research and was the only plumber in the area who came through. Scott explained everything he was going to do before he did it and resolved the issue at a reasonable cost and in a reasonable timeframe (he had to run to White’s Plumbing to get a replacement part). Very neat, cleaned up after work was done. I’ve used Rick’s before and found them to be honest and reliable so I called on them again for this latest repair work. Was not disappointed in the least!

Lee came and cleared out a badly clogged toilet. The clog was so far down into drain he had to use an extension on his unclogging device. He was neat - not a drop of anything anywhere, and got things working promptly. Friendly and professional as well.Also would like to thank Megan in the office for her help in recognizing the urgency of the problem and expediting a solution. Lee B from Ricks Plumbing did a great job of going above and beyond. He quickly attached are new faucets and drains in our guest bathroom, fixed a leaking toilet (nut needed to be tightened) and added some decorative trim to our new cabinets where the holes for the plumbing were. Also, Ricks had a great turn around time for appts, 24 hrs! Wahoo! Thanks so much to Ricks plumbing and to Lee for fast and efficient service!

Bobby was so great, he was punctual and finished our job quickly. Although we did not have a complicated job this time - we have used Rick’s Plumbing before to help us rough in new water lines for a master bath remodel where we went from a single sink vanity to a double. This is my second review - and very positive again. My last review was for Ricks installing a battery backup sump pump and then months later replacing a broken shower head and faucet. A couple of months ago Ricks fixed an outside leak I had due to a problem with my irrigation system access control. This past weekend Ricks came to my rescue again after an installer was putting in a special window solar shade and drilled into a water line in the wall. This required my to turn off the water to stop the leak which was an issue since we had a bunch of company staying over. Fortunately Ricks was there at 7am the next day to fix it and give us back our water (and happy visitors). Thanks Ricks! Always professional, high quality and responsive.

My kitchen was just remolded, and my new sink wasnt draining. Jonathan adjusted his schedule, and came to my house, even though it wasnt a previously scheduled appointment. Jonathan was very professional, and was able to snake the drain to get my sink working. He also changed the handle on my kitchen faucet. He was very friendly and informative, and was patient with my dog who kept barking at him! I would highly recommend him, and will call him again if I need a plumber.

The most recent call was for an assessment of moving a washer/dryer. Their technician, Jonathan, offered creative solutions, and alternatives. He was also able to provide reliable references. On previous occasions, Bill and Joe, brothers, addressed a leak, and still on another call, Ricks Plumbing fixed a leaking ice maker. Each time, Ricks Plumbing is the best! Im a first-time home owner and didnt realize i had an almost 80 year old furance. I contacted Ricks almost a year ago for a boiler replacement. Jay came over when he said he would and explained everything to me and got me in the right direction. Fast forward l, the gas company ends up taking so much longer than expected, and my tank started to leak really badly. The guys from Ricks came over without hesitation and were nice enough to give me a temporary water heater. It was such a great experience so far. They were smart, quick, and extremely professional. All of the work he and the team (on demand water heater, etc) have done has added value to my home but also made it more comfortable for me. This company does everything right.
