Flooding issue in our basement caused by soft clog in the main sewer pipe line. Long story short. JUST trust what Wes does and go with him. If you are skeptical like me and also concerns about getting over charged for services, have dealt with dishonest businesses, making tons of searches before you make any decisions. I can tell you for sure, to save your time, dont hesitate it.My husband and I were so LUCKY that we found Monkey Wrench Plumbing. What other plumbers failed to do and make it into a bigger project and tries to over charge us, but Wes was able to find the problem and SAVED us from the big flooding chaos in our basement and he happened to be one of the owner!He really knows what he does. I have a zero knowledge of the plumbing system, but I can tell he is very experienced expert. He was very patience throughout the process and willing to explain over and over again at my eye level to clarify everything until I understand. I felt so comfortable and educated about the plumbing system in our house and that helped me understand why we had a flood issue in our basement.We are super satisfied with the overall experience with Wes. Just by knowing a plumbing company who I can trust to go with, really gives me some sort of confident and good peace of mind. If you are a home owner you know what it means!

Jerry was wonderful. He was patient and very knowledgeable. He took the time to address all our concerns and asked if there were any other issues we wanted to look at while he was there. And that was on Christmas Eve. Jerry had to come back the day after Christmas because the job was complicated and he brought Carlos with him. Carlos has done work at our house before and was the reason we called Monkey Wrench first when we needed a plumber. He is every bit as amazing as Jerry! Short story - I will always use Monkey Wrench for my plumbing needs!

Monkey Wrench came highly recommended for my plumbing issue (from another plumbing company who was too busy to handle my request).  They quickly responded to my inquiry and scheduled a technician to come out first thing the next morning between 8am and 10am. Carlos, my technician, called to let me know he was on his way AND I received a text from the company to let me know he was on his way and gave me a link to track his arrival. Wow! In all the service companies I have used, I have never had a single technician show up on time. UNTIL MONKEY WRENCH!! :)  Carlos was very personable and knowledgeable. He gave me different quoting options without any pressure or hassling and explained each option in great detail. He was able to fix my plumbing issue quickly and efficiently. He was on time. He was super friendly. He really represented his company well. Thanks, Carlos!  I am a renter and my landlord has used another company in the past but I am sure he will be using Monkey Wrench from now on. I cant recommend Carlos and Monkey Wrench enough! Very quick service! IMPRESSIVE! We were a little frantic, as there had been a gas/home explosion less than a mile from our home just recently. We had a gas line, which protruded up through our floor, needing to be cut below the floor and capped off, after removing our gas fireplace. We did not feel comfortable doing it ourselves. It was already Tuesday, and our wood floors were to be installed on Thursday morning. We called 3-4 companies that either were not qualified to do such work, or could not come for 4-5 days. We were referred to Wes at Monkey Wrench, and were SO pleased! Not only did he come out Tuesday afternoon to assess the job, but drove back for necessary parts to complete the job same day! Lifesaver! Weve already passed along their name to a neighbor. Thanks again for your awesome service & expertise! Ready for built in cabinets!

We had some issues with our dishwasher and called a company to come out. They fixed the dishwasher, but didnt fix the leak or look at the problems it had caused. We saw Monkey Wrench on google and called because of the reviews. Were so glad we did! Wes came out the same day, took a look and told us exactly what was wrong. He looked at the leak, contacted the restoration team that would need to deal with the mold, and let us know exactly what to expect.After the restoration came in and opened up the wall, the team came back to look at the pipe. Gentry and (I forgot the other guy) found that our pipe had cracked, which caused the leak. They replaced it and looked at another leak we were worried about. They were so friendly and asked if they could help with anything else.We loved that they were honest, friendly and punctual. Easy to trust and all-around great service! Well definitely call them again, when we need help!

Gentry and Jason worked tirelessly to finish replacing two sewage ejector pumps in one day, not leaving until 8pm, so we could use our plumbing again. They did a great job at a reasonable price, and in only a few days from when we called. Jerry bid the job, and within minutes of talking to him, I could tell he had far more experience than our prior plumbers, who incidentally bid the job much higher. We had another company come give us an outrageous bid for replumbing our house and replacing all water lines, so we decided to get other bids. Jerry from Monkey Wrench came out and assessed the issues, spent a considerable amount of time in our crawl space, took photos and documented everything, and then walked us through the issues he saw and what our options were. He was kind, punctual, and thorough in his assessment.They started work (a 2-day job) and they were detailed and honestly went above and beyond for us! They were our 2nd highest bid (cheapest is not always best!) and we felt like Jerry’s thoroughness with his walkthrough and his estimate were honest and fair. Gentry was part of our crew and he was so awesome to work with! He was friendly and super helpful. We actually had a new shower head and tub spout to install and realized we were missing the hardware to install it. Gentry went above and beyond for us and went to pick up the right hardware and he installed everything for us. We are so glad we decided to hire Monkey Wrench for the job! They were amazing.

Im terrible at leaving reviews, but I have to take a minute and thank these guys for everything that they did. In October, we had a leak behind our bathtub and I called Monkey Wrench. Our house is one of those 1940s Sears catalog type of homes. Long story short, all of our plumbing was needing to be replaced and our water heater was not up to code and leaking carbon monoxide into our house. Super scary! The wonderful receptionist, owner, Gentry, and Patrick went above and beyond for us. They were so kind, they took the time to explain everything that they were doing, didnt mind answering questions, and made my mom and grandmother feel like they were in good and reliable hands. The cost for the job was not anything that we could afford at the moment, but these guys helped us find a company to take a small loan out with to have everything taken care of. Now, there are no leaks, our drinking water is super clean, and for the first time in over a decade, we have water pressure! The guys did unfortunately break the toilet tank lid in our bathroom, but the owner came out and replaced the entire thing, no questions asked. I would recommend these guys to anyone. They are honest, hard working, and are in it to help out, and not for a fat check. Thanks guys!

We had a pipe burst in a Sunday afternoon and Monkey Wrench plumbing not only answered, but they got here within the hour and were able to get everything fixed.We were in a sticky situation where the line that was leaking fed three different units, and the owner of the unit with the main shut off to all three of those units was unreachable. Jerry, the plumber they sent out, helped us to find alternative ways of getting the water shut off and got everything fixed quickly.I would absolutely use them again!

Carlos Luna was fantastic! First of all when i contacted Monkey Wrench i spoke to a friendly person not a voice mailbox, they scheduled my appointment for the next day as my issue wasnt urgent. Wes and his team are great - professional and courteous. We used Monkey Wrench to repair our Sewer Main (12 feet deep!) and install a liner. They also replaced our Water Main and PRV. I was worried about digging 12 feet down but they handled it well. Overall, impressed with their work. They finished the job in three (3) days and left the front yard in a better condition than I was expecting (although I was expecting the worse after having an excavator on the yard for 2-3 days).Gentry also installed two vanities for us. He stayed late on the final day and helped scout out the sprinkler system and turn on the stop and waste for us.On a later date, we had Carlos flush our tankless water heater and bring the gas line up to code.Thank again and would recommend Monkey Wrench for your plumbing needs. We had an emergency situation with a leak in our basement bathroom and I contacted multiple plumbers via Google message. Monkey Wrench answered quickly and had someone scheduled within a couple outs. Gentry informed us when he discovered a problem that would require more extensive work and helped us weigh our options. At one point a new toilet gasket turned out to be necessary. Without charging extra he and his assistant made a special trip to the plumbing store to get the needed part and installed it cheerfully. The repairs were successful and completed on time. This was the second time we have worked with Monkey Wrench Plumbing and we will definitely call them next time we need plumbing services.

Corey did a great job diagnosing the blockage in my basements sewage drain. It unfortunately ended up being a tree root that penetrated the pipe, and he was able to come back the next day and clear the blockage via hydro-jet. Most other companies did not return my call same day, but Monkey Wrench responded immediately and was able to send someone out right away.

Jason repiped our entire home for us and did an excellent job. We had several plumbers come and give us bids and Monkey Wrench had the best deal as well as the most detailed information.Because our home is very old and has lots of problems, they ran into some trouble getting around weird ducts and walls- but despite the extra work, they kept the price at their original bid and figured out the best way to get everything in well.We have had a great experience and will call them for all our plumbing needs. (But we haven’t had any more yet- since they fixed all our problems!)

These people, Corey, Gentry, Parker deserve the 5 STAR rating. As well as Mike , Supervisor and Owners. Get them youll be glad you did. That was a lot of great quality work. Yes reasonable and affordable. Way too much work, and great quality needed, for those who think they can buy or put it in themselves. I had high pressure of 90 and now its 65, which is plenty at the faucets. High pressure caused my Expansion Tank to fill. The work I had done was 3/4 pressure relief valve easy access. A valve that will last a long time. $385 Water repiping includes moving the water heater. $445 Repiping needed to accommodate New PRV and easy access to Hot water shut off. New Expansion Tank and Anode Rod. Gas valve sediment trap, Earth quake Strap. $378 Thankfully, Corey was the one who came and gave me the estimate and told me they can replace the Anode Rod. I asked to have that replaced. My 10yr Bradford water heaterhas 6yrs on it. Now with the new Anode Rod I might get 4 more yrs of use. Call Monkey Wrench Plumbing, Heating and Air and state of the art drain cleaning. Be glad and happy.

January 2024.The first time I used Wes I had a rental with a busted pipe and had some late night ... Company rip me off to repair a small pipe. They wanted $1200 just to replace a pressure valve I said no, I called 2 other companies before I found Monkey Wrench and Wes. He replaced the valve for a very reasonable price and then repaired the broken fixed pipe.When I decided to remodel my home a few months ago I called Wes. He and Chris have walked me through the process with such ease and help at all times. I have all new plumbing pipes, new hot water on demand, showers, toilets, sinks, new upgraded gas service and now finally waiting to get the new kitchen installed. They have held my hand with my local city authorities and been a pleasure to work with. Then at the last minute we realized my 60 year old home had bad sewer issues, argh!!! Lol that was just one more thing but they were right there they had a solution and we had the sewer lined in 3 days! I will use them always and recommend to my family and friends. Original: I called them due to their add saying call for a quote. The representative just started asking for all my information and not what I wanted to get an estimate on. Did not appreciate that approach.Update: The owner called me to find out what happened. He explained to me that they use a call center during off hours. The questions they ask is mainly for contact information and their estimate. He did ask how the call center could have done better and listened. I expressed my opinion of companies that gain that information and just start spamming. He informed me that they do not use that information for any marketing purposes.He was very professional and direct which I appreciate. He openly asked me to remove or update this review since his company did not provide any service to me and it was not applicable to them.This shows an honest company with an owner that cares about the reputation and workmanship they provide.

Monkey Wrench Plumbing is beyond great and this review is from 3 months ago. I had them replace my water main and they were great to work with. Jason came out and gave me an estimate that was better than the others I received. He and his guys were able to redo my entire water line and replace some of the old connections in my house. They also made sure that everything was filled back in on my lawn and that I approved of everything.Update: When I went to turn off my sprinklers for the winter I did not turn off the stop and waste fully and water flooded my lawn and I thought it was a leak on the main and called Monkey Wrench. Jason came out and let me know that the main was fine and that the stop and waste was not completely closed and explained that this caused the water to leak out and flood my lawn.Jason was great both times he came out to my property and made sure that I was comfortable and he wanted to make sure his work was not the reason for the 2nd flood on my lawn. I could not recommend these guys any more.
