With temperatures in the high 90s, Ryan and Justin installed both a new furnace and ac unit at my new listing. OH, did I mention the condo is on the third floor and the ac unit is on the roof. A crane had to bring the ac to the roof....these two started at 8 am and finished just short of 4:30 in a sweltering afternoon, working tirelessly to get both units installed. They did an amazing job. New carpets were tarped and the condo left spotless and cool.Bring on the showings.You cant go wrong with Barlows Service Experts!

First of all, it was exceptionally easy to book a service appointment with Barlow. I received a text message right after booking and another one day prior to the scheduled service, confirming the scheduled appointment. Glen Christensen, my scheduled service specialist called saying his prior appointment completed earlier than planned and wanted to confirm it was acceptable to arrive earlier than the scheduled appointment time. On arrival, he was super friendly and got to business. He completed a service and health check. He also recommended some preventative maintenance, that could wait but would eventually become an issue, as my system is over 12 years old and yet to have had any real repairs. I scheduled to have him return and replace the items. I can highly recommend Glen and Barlow services for your HVAC needs. Thank you for your professional services.

I had a wonderful experience getting my furnace looked at by Harry. I am a new homeowner, and I’m not knowledgeable in HVAC at all. Harry took the time to walk me through everything he was doing so that I could understand what I was being charged for and how I could mitigate things on my own. He even called ahead to see if he could help me over the phone if it were something as simple as a filter change. It was an evening call, and he arrived with a great attitude and taught me a lot. It was a simple fix, my breaker flipped and there was some circulation issues— all fixed super quickly. It’s rare to find such good service, and I’m happy to be a costumer now.

We were looking to replace our furnace and add a humidifier and air purifier. The sales consultant, Mike Lariviere worked diligently to figure out the best options for our needs and communicated those options very clearly. Since our water heater was near its end of life and it needed to be moved to get the new equipment in, we ended up replacing it too. Mike went above and beyond in helping me with a small duct repair that needed to be done before the install. The HVAC install crew (Randy and Jordan) did a terrific job and worked really well along side the plumbing crew (Calob and Conor) who were also great. Looking forward to the same great service for the maintenance visits.

Taylor Wanderwest from Barlow came to our home today to provide regular maintenance on our furnace and AC. He was on time and promptly got to work. He finished sooner than I expected and he provided a full report of his actions and explained how well our appliances performed compared to accepted tolerance values, supporting his narrative with ~20 photos and videos. Taylor was thorough, professional, and pleasant. Taylor definitely earned my trust in his work and his visit was a very positive experience. I will be asking for him again when I call Barlow for my next service need!

They came to our home in a timely manner and fixed the air conditioner at a low cost and did not try to up sale us on products and parts we did not need. Glen and Chris showed up on time and finished earlier than expected. They respected our home and left it as they found it, albeit with a new furnace heat exchanger, inducer fan and humidifier. This was an unwelcome major expense at the holidays but could have been worse had the furnace gone out in the middle of winter or just after the warranty expired (instead of just before, as it was). Good job!

He found some very serious problems with my recent install and pointed them out to me, took photos and documented everything which gave me enough information to contact the installer of the AC and get them to come back out and replace my whole coil unit, this company is amazing. My furnace quit and Barlow was very responsive. Two guys showed up, Roberto and another guy (?). Roberto was obviously a true master. Id agreed to a $99 system diagnostic which was expertly conducted by Roberto. The igniter was fried and one fan capacitor was weak but not in need of replacement. So, I asked what will be the cost to replace the igniter...part and labor?. I was told that company policy was not to inform the customer of that. Why? I later found out the truth: Igniter cost = $30 + Labor = $500...one screw and an electrical connector! The other guys job was to upsell an entire new furnace...awesome deal...easy payments...etc. Sorry, Im an old man. If this review was just for Roberto (actual technician), I would have rated 5 stars +++.

We had another company come and give us an estimate. Our fan and compressor were out and needed to be replaced. The other company quoted us $3300 for replacement part and labor. We decided to get a second opinion and thank goodness we called Barlow! They also diagnosed that the fan and compressor needed to be replaced and quoted me $2500. Almost a THOUSAND dollars cheaper! Adam and Tyler came for a routine furnace check. We were surprised to learn that our heat exchanger was extremely corrosive and about to die! They insured us that it could be replaced but our system was so old that it would be better to get a new one! They quoted us a price and said if we could install tomorrow that they would ask their manager for an additional discount. The next day we had Ryan and Lucas come and they were on time! They were both extremely kind and put up with my kid’s running around! I was shocked at how fast they worked and their clean up was extremely impressive! I have recommended Barlow to all of my neighbors! I will only use this company in the future!

Review update: Furnace Install 10/25/24Our previous Lennox furnace was installed 11yrs ago by Barlow and the semi-annual tuneup revealed that it has reached its limit, with the heat exchanger rusted out and the fan shroud leaking. Im not surprised having run the humidifier continuously to protect the piano. I was presented with photos of the status and am not good at breathing carbon monoxide, so it was time for a new furnace. The latest Lennox has a lifetime warranty on the exchanger; a good thing.This morning first thing Ryan and Justin began disassembling the old model and finished the replacement by 11. They were very good about explaining the process, installing the new unit and answered all my questions. I was in charge of my companys physical plant and I know when people are blowing smoke. These guys are real pros and consummate professionals. I have never found any of Barlows service techs to be lacking. They are well trained and have always treated me with respect and a smile. I highly recommend this company for your heating and air conditioning needs.Nick and Danielle visited our home this morning to service our HVAC system. They were very thorough and explained their evaluation in a very understandable manner. They were very polite and considerate of property and house during their work. I heartily recommend them and their company.

Love it when a Google review rating jives with the companies delivered value! Im leaving 5 starts for both Harry and Chris who helped diagnose issues with my thermostat and add-a-wire module. They both came later at night to service my urgent call since my AC unit was throwing a tantrum in the heat of July. Even though the initial diagnostic was partially correct, the root cause of my issue was found when my furnace didnt respond to my old thermostat.Instead of selling me a manufacturer-specific part, they pointed me in the right direction on how to complete the repair myself. Im an electrical technician myself but no, the green wire is not the ground. I was thoroughly stumped on the thermostat installation but Chris helped me get the house crisp and cold before the gf got home. Barlow FTW!

Update (1/3/2025): I have used Barlow for the last few years, ever since the incident below. Quick courteous service and the techs are always knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend Harry, he takes his time and explains any issues in detail and so you can understand.7/9/2023: My AC broke late on a Friday, and I didn’t really notice until Saturday afternoon. Of course it happened right as the weather really started heating up. After noticing their rating on Google I called Barlow Sunday morning to see if there was anyway they could come out that day, and they were able to make it happen. Harry and Cameron came out and were quick, knowledgeable, and professional. My unit was frozen so they had to come and finish the next day to finish up and make sure everything was working correctly. By the next day my house was back to normal and Harry helped me understand how to prevent this from happening again.

This morning, Harry and Tyler came and serviced my furnace. They called and let me know when they would be arriving. When they got here, they were extremely professional, courteous, and friendly. They completed their tasks and gave me a detailed, rundown of how my furnace was working.3/27/2024- Mr. Harry came by again today. I love it when you have the same technician so you have someone you can rely on. He took his time explaining things to me and showed me the photos of everything. Harry was respectful and kind. He is a wonderful asset to this company.

Service Experts are professionals!Harry today 12/20/2025 and Christian and Philip 5 years ago were prompt, efficient and provided excellent tuning for the furnace. They wore booties over their shoes and cleaned up after themselves. Not a trace was left behind. I highly recommend Service Experts.

We have two houses and Barlow Service Experts help us take care of both. When our hot water suddenly went out a couple weeks ago, we were super grateful that our water heater was on their advantage plan. They sent over a plumber right way. I wish I could remember his name, but he was fantastic. He was able to fix the problem quickly, kept us in the loop while he was working and costs were covered by our advantage plan member. It was such a relief. We also participate in their maintenance program. This last month Jill, Dan, and Roberto came over both our homes to make sure our furnace and air condtioning were running well, and that the filters were changed. They are friendly, on time, and break down what is going on in a way that is easy to understand. Jill helped our air-conditioning run more effectively at one house and Roberto and Dan helped us get on an Advantage plan for the furnace at the other house. We are super happy with Barlow Service Experts. We recommend them to everyone!

Amazing. Had my ac replaced after it broke. While waiting for the install they brought me a portable Ac unit so the house wasnt unbearably hot. Super responsive, Luca was amazingly helpful and fast to respond. Riley in the office is always super friendly and helpful. Tj was also super fast and responsive. And Danielle got us a great price on our new AC. Thank you.
