Several years ago we purchased a home generator from Dion Generator Solutions including annual maintenance coverage and it has proven to be one of the best decisions ever made. Their service has always been stellar. Recently during hurricane Milton in the middle of the night we required service. We contacted Dion an within minutes Dion showed up and immediately restarted the generator. I was not at home when the maintenance was performed, but, it must have been very good. The next two days the electricity from FP&L was not available for about 36 of the next 48 hours. Our generator functioned perfectly. Our house continued to operate as normal without interruption. It provided for our needs in exactly the manner in which we had hoped for when we had it installed. We are very pleased.

Our installation was not easy because the best locations for the generator and the propane tanks were some distance from the transfer box. The staff from Dion worked diligently to trench through many feet of oolitic limestone to get everything connected. Since installation, the generator has been working fine and automatically provided electricity to our house, just like it is supposed to do, during a recent power outage of 8 hours. We are very pleased with Dion Generator Solutions.

It has been 9 years since Dion Generator installed my propane fueled generator. A couple years ago, it worked non stop for 10 days. FPL power is terrible in my neighborhood and the generator has to work often. The only problem is the battery that has to be replaced every couple years. Service is good.

Dion has maintained our 16 year old Kohler generator in tip top condition for the past two years. They are talented and skilled professionals and work hard to resolve issues quickly. I had an overall excellent experience with Dion despite their facing great obstacles with the City of Coral Gables, whose rules regarding generators appear to be in continual revision. Dion had to devote many unpaid hours dealing with different inspectors requirements. The end product is excellent. My only criticism is that communication regarding the location of the unit was not clear and required some back and forth until I was apprised of the actual location. No doubt some of this was due the vagaries of the city process (which is looking out for resident safety). I would recommend Dion including members of the Dion family and the office staff.

The office was very friendly and scheduled a technician to come to my house and find out why my generator hasnt worked in a several months. The technician who came to my house was very through in diagnosing my generator and within one hour determined the starter was defective. The office was quick to find the correct part and I received an email of the quote to repair the unit the next day which was very affordable. Once the part came in the office scheduled the technician to return and replace my starter. Afterwards my generator was up and running again and I have had no issues since. The process of having a house generator installed took 4 months from the time the deposit was made to start-up day. The permitting process moved a bit slow but once Mike said we are starting your project it was like a fast forward button had been pressed. Everything moved quick, delivery of the generator, the transfer switch, the hole for the tank, the trenches, etc. The electrical and gas crew were phenomenal and worked very conscientiously. I was with them the entire process and they were pleasing and explained what they were doing along the way. A friend is having a generator installed and he’s going on 5 months, it will be 6 months before he gets his start-up. Mile knows his business well, sometimes the communication could have been better - let him and his staff do what you hired them to do and don’t get anxious. They’ll get it done!

The process to get the permit took longer then anticipated, not sure it was Dion Generator fault or The City of Pinecrest. Once we got the permit everything went smoothly and on time. The workers were great and worked hard. At each step the inspections were passed, and the permit was closed at the end. Good job! I would recommend them.
