Pete gave us a great cost effective option where he put a sheath in the pipe and it saved us THOUSANDS of dollars.He is efficient, cost effective, and always comes out on time. My water heater pilot would not stay lit, so I called my insurance who sent out Emergency Plumbing Service. They sent three different technicians out to my property and could still not resolve the issue. I called my insurance company back and they told me to call the manufacturer. The manufacturer had no clue what they were talking about, so I called my insurance once again. This time they sent out Pete from Downs Plumbing and when he came he instantly found the problem and came up with a resolution. Within three days I had a new water heater installed and the problem was fixed. It is miraculous how fast Pete found the problem when three other technicians could not. Me and my family went about a month dealing with cold showers, Pete understood that this was not ideal and did not make us wait any longer to get a warm shower. Unlike our insurance company and Emergency Plumbing Service who did not care. Pete is friendly, punctual, knowledgeable, and listens to the customers needs. I will definitely call him in the future for assistance and refer him to friends/family.

I am very happy I called Downs plumbing. I tried a few other companies, but they all refused to come and take a look at our clogged sink, or the prices was so outrageous that did not even make sense. The excuse was it is Saturday afternoon and it will be an emergency call. I called Downs plumbing. Right away they told me there is no problem, they will be here first thing in the morning and the price was very very reasonable. He was at my house on Sunday at 8 am, did an excellent job, very professional, very quick, right to the root of the problem and it was done. The price was exactly what he told me on the phone, no fuss, no extra, no excuses. I am very happy with the service we got. Our water heater started leaking and went out. The first company we called wanted $3700 to replace a 40 gallon water heater. When I asked about a tankless, they told me it would be almost $8,000.
