I am very please with the work Jeremy Williams and his coworkers from Smith and Son Plumbing did for us. It was our first time using this company, which I decided to use based on the good reviews I read and their BBB rating. So please that they live up to their word. They give a free estimate and their pricing is reasonable. They changed out my hot water heater and fixed a leak in one of our bathrooms. They replaced the two handle faucet with a new one handle and am so happy with it. From the start they were polite and friendly and even wore masks at my request because of my illness. These guys even clean up after themselves. Will definitely use them in the future if needed and will highly recommend to everyone.

He was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions and concerns!Kurt came out for our install and was extremely proffessional, polite, and timely with his work. Kurt walked us through everything that had been done and made sure that we knew if there were any issues they would be there to help!In this economy things can be rough. If your in a position where you need the work done and a company to stand by their work, this company seems to be IT!

Fast response time, did a great job fixing my gas line, pricing was fair. They had to relight my water heater and because I had just moved into the home, I wasn’t aware we had 2 water heaters until 20 minutes after they left. I called and the sent someone right back super fast. Also - they have a great scheduling system with reminders that is helpful. I’ll definitely use them again

Recently we called Smith and Son Plumbing for our bathroom’s plumbing related issues, and they offered us the best quality solution with an affordable price. We experienced a very pleasant and friendly business interaction right from making the first service call to Jessica and then to the follow up visits by Technicians Jeremy and Chris. They thoroughly inspected all aspects of the damages and gave their skillful and professional opinion. Based on our consultation, we found that both of them have not only phenomenal professional experience and knowledge but also demonstrated an incredible understanding towards our request for tailoring and customizing the project. I am SO upset!!! Paid in Full for multiple work done in new house, including new gas water heater. We had few problems pop up during the weekend. We needed a technician but company had no emergency services available . Although upsetting Rick called my husband on Monday and the issues were immediately addressed. Gage came over and resolved the problems. Great company, good people! Just please try to get a plumber on weekends, since plumbing problems don’t limit themselves to only weekdays. We are happy with the work, resolution and attention we received. Thank you, Rick and young, Hanson’s, new dad, son, Gage!! lol. We will be using you in the future .

The technician they sent to fix a complicated bathroom sink drain problem was very professional, friendly and attentive. He skillfully figured out that both sinks drains were connected with a 90 degree connector instead of a Y connector and was able to clear the plugged drains.

I was really impressed with the timing of SMITH & SON PLUMBING. I submitted a request online for an appointment the night before and selected an appointment two days later; however, they called me first thing in the morning, the next day just to let me know they had appointments available that morning if I needed them quicker. They were on time, they were professional, they were patient, they were kind of, and flexible. Even later on that day when we noticed there was a leak still occurring after the install they came right back out to fix the problem. I had a question about the invoice and called the next day and it was cleared up quickly Rick, Daniel and John are definitely top-tier! I would definitely use SMITH & SON PLUMBING again in the future! And would recommend them to friends and family!

Smith and Son saved the day (and the long holiday weekend)! I could not be more appreciative. Yesterday evening, I had very low water pressure and I had leaking from what appeared to be the front of the house (it was the pressure relief valve). I had to turn off the water supply since it was drenching the yard. Momma aint happy when water was not on demand. I called one company I had used in the past and they had no availability...I got concerned (again, momma aint happy when she aint got water/toilet/shower...and if momma aint happy, well, you know...). Having the water turned off for the long weekend would have been a miserable endeavor. In addition, I wouldnt have a spot in my schedule next week to meet someone to have a repair done. I began to quickly read reviews for plumbers in the area and came across Smith & Son. When I called, they were super nice. They mentioned they had a full day scheduled for the crew, but the desperation in my voice must have been evident and they generously rearranged the schedule and made a spot for me.Rick came to my house on time, listened to my problem, automatically knew the solution, instantly gave me a quote, and level-set my expectations on what could pop-up once he got into it. I really appreciated his professionalism and straightforwardness. Great communication and answered all of my questions. The quote was in-line with what I expected (after trying to self-diagnose via google and research how much each scenario would be). The pressure relief valve is an outside repair requiring a lot of dirt to be dug up...and its July in Texas...needless to say, probably not the funnest repair for him before a long weekend when we all just want kick off early and have a little family leisure time. I am so ecstatic that it got done today. While my budget wasnt expecting a plumbing job, I knew the price was fair. Rick even put the flower bed back together as good as it was before the required digging. And the final price was no more than what Rick had level-set. No gotchas or sneaky added in fees or charges...just paid what I had expected.I would highly recommend Smith & Son Plumbing. Not only are they now my go to for plumbing issues...I now have a great business to recommend to my friends when they ask me if I know of any good plumbers. Needed a shower faucet replaced, actually ended up needing the whole valve replaced, as the old one was damaged. Their quote was in-line with another place I had look at it. To be completely fair to them, their final project price was substantially cheaper, as they took time to explain that if I did some of the demo work myself, the final tab would be far less. I appreciated that extra dose of honesty and communication. Very punctual as well. All aspects of the interactions were greatly positive. Hoping I dont need a plumber again anytime soon, but if I do, this will be the first place I call - and recommend to others.

Excellent service! Rick was very nice on the phone. I called on Sat am expecting to get on the schedule in the coming week. Nope, they came out 2.5 hours later!! Another showed up completely unprepared for a basic job after days of delay. Smith and Son kept their appointment with us and were very professional. By far the best service and nicest guys ever. Long story short. After the city replaced a faulty water meter, water pressure was about 0. No appliances or irrigation worked. Smith and Sons worked directly with me and city (over several days) to diagnose, repair, and have city pay for repair. Above and beyond any expectations. I highly and without reservation suggest Smith and Sons be your go to plumbers. To have water again, is a huge blessing. I could not have navigated this dilemma without Smith and Sons. We called Smith and Son Plumbing for the first time to replace a failed hot water heater. We have been dealing with two traditional tank heaters that never seem to last to their warranty. We have dealt with home warranty companies for years, but with horrible experience.Now that we can choose our own company, we are so glad to have found Smith and Son. They replaced the tanks with a tankless hot water heater and are incredibly professional. The day after the install we called back with two small concerns/questions and they came right away to address and resolve both! I always try to hire local and am glad I tried Smith and Son Plumbing. They gave text message notification when they were on their way, arrived near the beginning of their two-hour time window, gave a very reasonable estimate on an exterior fost-free hose faucet, and finished quickly leaving no mess. I have used Smith and Son Plumbing on 3 different occasions in 2019 at our home and at my moms house. Everyone Ive encountered from John in the office, to Chris and most recently Mario have been extremely professional, down to earth and with a genuine interest to help. Chris did a great job of helping my mom feel comfortable during his visits, and patiently answered all her questions. They dont gouge you on pricing and will work with you to find a a reasonable and cost effective solution to the problem. The only down side is that if you call the office and you dont get John, leaving a message is like an act of congress. This seems to be a corporate process that needs to simplified to minimize customer frustration. I will continue to use Smith and Son Plumbing for future needs and recommend their services.

The technician Chris gave us rockstar service. I had a different plumber on site first who cut several large holes in our ceiling to find the source of the leak. In order to cut a third hole on a vertical wall, they wanted to charge me an unreasonable, additional sum for a second tech to hold a ladder.Because the leak was randomly occurring and then stopping Chris came out on-call three times to witness the leak rather guess and cut more holes I have to fix. He used minimally invasive camera technology to identify the leak, that left (1) small round hole I can patch myself. He accessed the leaking elbow through my upstairs vanity rather than cut a large hole in my living room wall. Their bill was 1/3 of what the original plumber tried to charge us! I will use Smith & Son for any plumbing services I need and will gladly recommend them to anyone.
