They are superior in quality, timing, and customer care - and have competitive costs. Nathan patiently worked with us on site and over the phone as we made decisions about the electrical power and lighting work in our home’s kitchen. They worked with us on the details and the best options to heighten design appeal. And when we did give them the go ahead they were out shortly thereafter! They delivered on their promises in a timely and professional manner and treated us and our home with respect. We really appreciate the products they supplied, the installation, and final detailing. From first contact to final inspection, the experience with ABR was excellent.They were professional, knowledgeable, friendly throughout the process, and communicated well (including being straightforward when there was a small hiccup). We appreciated that they fully managed the plumbing sub-contractor.Cost was approximately $15K for a system that will support everything we need for our 2-storey home in an emergency.Highly Recommended!

When does that ever happen?! I got a quote from another highly reputable electrical company local to the DFW area and they were over $1300 more expensive for the same work!! I will be using ABR Electric for any future electrical needs, no doubt!

I called ABR to install two outdoor ceiling fans as well as check a bad breaker. They were very responsive in scheduling me in and upfront on the costs. On the day of the job Jason called ahead to advise time of arrival. He and his apprentice arrived on time and were very professional and friendly. Jason kept me informed of any issues with the projects and offered his recommendations. Jason was very thorough and after completion went over the jobs to ensure they were up to my satisfaction. Overall, Jason did an excellent job providing a high level of service and quality of work. I would certainly give a high recommendation if you are looking for a good electrician.

James, Frank, and Andy are the best electricians ever. They work extremely hard. They are very polite and professional. They are punctual. They show appreciation for their customers and respect for their homes. Everyone including the office is great with communications over text, phone, and email.They are true experts. I have used them for several years now at multiple houses. I have hired them for panel hookups, ground wires, wiring in a large shop, several large circuits, rewiring, generator and ATS hookups, shutoff switches, lighting, and many other very large jobs. Ive never had any problem. They always find and correct safety hazards that previous homeowners left. One job the inspector even told me to tell my electrician he does excellent work which was amount the best he had ever seen. The prices are so fair that I dont even bother getting other quotes anymore. I cant say enough good things about ABR Electric.But the number one thing that I value the most about ABR Electric is their honesty and integrity. They are so trustworthy. I know they will always advise me to take the most economical option that makes sense and they will find ways for me to save money. This is true even if it means less profit for them.I honestly feel like they are true friends since thats the way they treat their customers. Its rare to find a business like this nowadays.

I called ABR to have an electrical outlet installed on an outdoor patio to connect a motorized shade. I requested a quote on their website and Wendii quickly contacted me to schedule the appointment at a time convenient for me. She let me know that Jason would be coming out. Wendii also confirmed the appointment via email.Jason texted me about 20 minutes before the appointment letting me know he was on the way. Jason introduced himself and was very friendly. I showed him what I was wanting and we talked about potential options to best meet my needs. Jason went to work and within 30 minutes came to get me and showed me his final work. The outlet was exactly where I requested it When the shade company came to do the install they said the outlet was perfect.Jason cleaned up his work and left everything as he found it.All around great service and a fair price.

I have used ABR Electric a couple times throughout the years. The first time to install an outdoor ceiling fan on my patio -- they did a great job. I had them come out again very recently to install over a dozen recessed lights, swap out light switches, install a power outlet and Ring camera and install a whole house surge protector. They knocked all this list out for me in a few days and were fairly priced. Nathan was great with his consultation and recommendations when it came to the recessed lighting and the team was fantastic with completing the work in just a couple of days. Very pleased with ABR and intend to use them for any electrical work I have in the future. Thank you!

He was very personable and gave us excellent recommendations on some of the lighting we were having done. We had two electricians come out and do the work. I wanted to share a review of our project that ABR Electric completed at our home in mid-September 2022. We had a 14-50 NEMA outlet installed in our garage to charge a EV.To start, scheduling & the project estimate was seamless. I contacted them via email and they followed up & confirmed about 2 weeks prior. Next their office called called me several days BEFORE the install to confirm the time & place which I appreciate.Mr. Spencer was our electrician on-site and he was really great & helpful. He truly deserves a 5 stars review! He was on time, he was very friendly and even answered my many questions that I asked while he did all the steps of the install.We only had a slight hiccup that he had brought the wrong actual 14-50 breaker hardware. It was a quick fix however, as he retrieved it from the main shop & came back first thing the next morning and finished the project in about 10 minutes. He was really great and I want to make sure yall pass along my thanks & praise for the excellent service. The project site was clean & tidy and (as silly as this sounds) I felt important & valued as a customer.Spencer & ABR Electric did a great job and had great service and I recommend for any home electric projects. You are my first choice for our next electrical project or repair or upgrade. Thank you so much!

He helped diagnose issue with my other appliance after he finished with the installation. Dont forget to check your other appliances after he finishes so that he can fix the issue for you right there.Everything still works great with no problem.

Wow! Absolutely excellent service from start to finish. Had James out to assess and give an estimate on upgrading my electrical panel. He arrived promptly, and after talking, told me I only needed to upgrade my main breaker and wiring. He could have easily sold me a much more expensive new panel, but instead was honest and forthright. On the day we scheduled the work to be done, the electric company was delayed in turning off the power. James returned to his office, but quickly returned an hour later when I texted that the power was finally off. He finished the work quickly, and everything looks great. Lastly, he made sure I was comfortable with everything and had all questions answered before leaving. Fast, friendly, honest service. What a great way to run a business.

What do you say to your son and daughter-in-law when they bring over a chandelier to replace your 1980’s style lighting with a new one not realizing what it will cost to lengthen and rewire it ? Not to mention the existing one was not located over the dining table and people have been hitting their heads on it every Thanksgiving and Christmas for 27 years. A call to several companies made me realize this gift was going to cost more than I had ever planned. Ive had ABR do a number of jobs for me, and Ive always had a generally positive experience with them.Id like to keep things up to date with a new review, and I hope this will be beneficial for their team.Recently I had a new sub panel and circuit added.A few positives:1. James is great to work with as always. Hes very thorough in his explanations and he helps provide solutions that are cost effective and competitive.2. Jason kept me informed of the work progress and he made an effort to ensure the work met my needs. He also was detailed in his explanations.A few things I think that could be improved:1. Shoe coverings-- I had to mop my floor a few times just due to the amount of dust and dirt that got tracked in as the electricians came in and out.2. Parts and tools readiness-- I felt that they were inadequately stocked with parts or tools as they came to the job.One of the requirements were interconnecting nipples between the main and sub panel, but it appeared there were attempts to use an assortment of parts to try interconnecting the panels. The holes in the stud between the panels were completely wallowed out to nearly the whole depth of the stud, seemingly in an effort to accommodate the assortment of parts, and the electricians left a few times for the store, which suggested to me that the parts inventory wasnt adequately considered prior to arriving onsite. I believe this parts issue contributed to the electricians having to work longer than necessary.I also observed one of my screwdrivers being used as a chisel at one point.4. Workmanship-- The new circuit run does not appear to be adequately stapled due to some amount of slack that I observed where the wire comes out through the top plate.5. Cleanliness of work--For the ceiling penetration for the new circuit, the apprentice was instructed to create a hole. However, it seemed he was not adequately instructed on how to capture the drywall debris when creating the hole, which resulted in drywall dust falling down onto the counter.For the subpanel in the garage, although its the garage, I think more effort could be taken to control dust when cutting open the wall. One option would be having a vacuum hose held up near the cutting saw when opening the wall. I found every surface in my garage covered in a fine layer of drywall and wood dust after completion of the work.6. Termination Torque checks-- I found multiple terminals not completely tightened when I checked the panel later on.

Ive used ABR for a couple of projects (installation of a 200V charger in the garage and an additional bathroom outlet). These guys are professional, courteous, and accurate with their estimates. I recently had an issue that they were able to resolve over email without even a site visit or a charge! I would call these guys first with your electrical needs.
