    I want to start off by saying that when I call any kind of home service company, I already expect to have to turn down lots of added extras that I’m told are necessary when I receive the quote for repairs. Mr. Electric came to my house within 2 minutes of the time we had scheduled earlier that day and before I could even answer the door, the tech who had just arrived was busy tightening the loose door handle to our front door. Without being asked he removed his shoes and was very respectful and very attentive when I was describing the issue I was having. After I explained what was going on he invited me to come along as he searched out the issue and as we went along he explained everything to me as he was doing it. I stopped him to say, aren’t you going to quote me a price for repairs before you start working? To which he responded and said, yessir I will let you know before I do anything that I will have to charge you for. After about 30 minutes of walking around my house discussing the power issues and learning about his family and telling him about mine, he looked at me and said, “well that shouldTake care of your issue I’m pretty sure.” And to my surprise, he had made the repair without me even noticing and he said since it only took 30 minutes and no parts or additional men were required that he was just going to charge me for the service call. I insisted that he at least charge me for the half hour of me annoying him and he said it was not necessary. When he left I offered him $20 cash as a tip to which he politely declined and asked for a good review instead. These guys are great and the lady I spoke to on the phone was so kind and they made me feel like family. I won’t be calling anyone else from now on when it comes to any and all electrical needs.

    Alex from Mr Electric installed an 100 amp EV charger in my garage. He did an exceptional job. He went out of his way to finish the job in the right way instead of cutting corners. He actually purchased a new hydraulic tool to finish the job for me. I am very impressed. Will definitely hire again.Waiting on the permit, will update how it goes but I don’t expect any issues going by the technician’s professionalism.

    Rusty and Jamie are the best! We had 4 or 5 different projects that needed help. They were fantastic getting everything done right and quickly. And they saved us a ton by fixing an A/C problem. It wasn’t the electrical problem the HVAC vendor said it was. They’re troubleshooting masters. I highly recommend them.

    We used Mr. Electric to redo most of our light fixtures in our home, they also installed dimmers in every room (some had fans.) Really professional, showed up early and finish work in the two days. We had 11 new fixtures to install and two sconces. I was worried because some of the fixtures required assembly, but they did it without any issues. Very meticulous in their work, they tested everything before leaving and promised to come back if anything was not working right with the dimmers. Its been about four months now and no issues.

    We have been searching for months for someone who would hang a big chandelier in a difficult spot. We literally went through a dozen electricians but, when we talked to James Dickson, he was able to give us hope.     I needed to replace a kitchen exhaust fan. I called Mr. Electric of McKinney who promptly set me up for a quote, in house, with no charge, as I live in Allen.They gave me an 8-4 window but said they would call in advance so I can be free during the day.On that day I received a call at 9:30am and an email alerting me that Rusty and Jamie would be there around 10:30am. They arrived at 10:24am.They were great! They assessed the job, gave me a price, which I accepted and they went to work immediately.Job was completed within two hours.I was very pleased with how Rusty and Jamie were professional, courteous, and friendly.     Cole and Bryan were great and easy to work with. Answered all my questions and concerns. They installed a new timer switch in my garage and got my outdoor lights to work again. They even came back the following business day to investigate why a switch in my breaker panel was tripping after the installation and replaced the switch with a new one. Jeff, ops manager, was helpful in getting this done and his responsiveness was greatly appreciated. Can’t speak for other reviewers, but overall I had a great experience and would recommend Mr. Electric - McKinney to others for sure.

    Rusty and Jamie performed some electrical upgrades in my home garage/workshop. They gave me an estimate on a Friday and the same people came back on Tuesday to do the work which I appreciated. I needed more plugs on separate circuits and they were able to complete the job quickly, neatly, and followed all of my directions perfectly to locations of plugs. I could tell they were honest and felt completely comfortable leaving them to do the work unattended. I now have new circuits in my fuse box dedicated to the high amp equipment I will be running. I will definitely call Mr. Electric again and will specifically ask for Rusty and Jamie for my next upgrade or repair!

    I called Mr. Electric after a friend suggested I get the wiring checked on my just purchased home. Mike came out, listened to my concerns and explained to me what he was going to do in the inspection.     James and Tom did an EXCELLENT job!!!! Not only did they replace our fuse box ( which was the original one from 1972 ), but we also had them put can lights in our kitchen along with lights under our cabinets. By the way these under the counter lights are the newest, most economical, FABULOUS LED lights which one has to see to believe! We absolutely LOVE the transition, and we cannot say ENOUGH about James and Tom!!! They are such professional and knowledgeable electricians!!! I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Electric...... James and Tom!!! The person I spoke to over the phone was so nice and professional. She sent someone out quickly. The electrician believed he fixed the problem. A few days later it came back. The tenant was irate at this point. I text Mr. Electric and the same lady was so nice. She took it upon herself to reach out the tenant make sure she knew we would get it taken care of. Sent the same electrician out. He was able to find the issue. Electrician personally called me sent me videos and explained clearly what was happening. Sent me links to pages I could read about issue. He was great. The person at the office also followed up with me after. They made me feel like I knew them forever.
