Mike and his son installed our radon mitigation system. They were extremely courteous and friendly. They made sure to put down a drop cloth from our front door to our basement door in order to protect our ugly carpet! We are still impressed with how clean and neat the whole system looks. Weve had great results.Before the electrician came out to finish the job we noticed the system wasnt working so I called Mike. He picked up the phone right away and helped me troubleshoot. Eventually we found that it was because one of our outlets needed to be reset. I appreciated that he was prompt to answer and talk me through the whole thing. Since the electrician finished his part, we dont have to worry about that being an issue anymore.OH! And they are less expensive than others I got quotes from.So glad I found them!

Our radon levels werent terribly high (~3 pCi/L), but we wanted to make the basement as safe as possible for everyone in the house. Because the levels were already fairly low, we didnt have unrealistic expectations for the results. But we were pretty shocked when the post-install test came back with a level of 0.5 pCi/L.The team was very helpful and professional throughout the process. The installation was great and were really happy with the results.

Mike installed our radon mitigation due to a high level of radon in our water. He was extremely professional, thorough and super knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of our questions and didn’t rush at all. You can tell he cares about providing quality work. Would highly recommend!

They provided clear information about the potential increase in our electric bill due to the fan and helped me choose a location where the fan noise would impact our home the least. Their initial test post-installation and our own test this fall both came back great. Very friendly and even let me keep the concrete core from my basement floor!

Great Experience from Start to FinishMike and the team at A. Douglas Thibodeau were amazing. We were under a time crunch due to selling a home and they came through in a big way. Communications were timely and professional. The installation of air and water radon mitigation systems were completed in a day and testing results received within a week. They were able to refer me to another great contractor to take care of another issue and even worked with that contractor on scheduling to allow both installs to occur on the same day! Outstanding professionals!!!! If you have to do radon mitigation, this is your team!

When I bought my house I tested for Radon in both air and water. The air was good, but my water tested high. I called several other companies and they all tried to price gouge me for some bubble up thing that cost over 5 grand. Mike explained to me that my levels were low enough that I could us the system he installed at half the price. I would recommend him 10 times out of ten.

There are many options for radon abatement, but I wanted a company that would provide a custom installation tailored to my specific concerns. Mike and his crew did just that. They went above and beyond to ensure the system was hidden away in my finished basement and installed in a neat and professional manner on the exterior.
