    Service was outstanding for a clogged toilet that a plunger couldn’t fix. They came within an hour of calling them on a Sunday morning and there was no emergency fee. Kyle was the repair guy and was respectful, communicative, and personable. The reason for a 4 star review instead of 5 is that their prices are about 20-75% higher than their competitors, even after using a coupon from their website. I would use them again, but only if it’s emergency.

    Had a toilet issue, not urgent, but still they were able to get out to me within 24 hours of my phone call. The technician that came out, Jamie, did a great job. She answered all my questions and walked me through what was causing the issue and what to do in the future if it comes up again.

    We had a messy toilet blockage at 9 o’clock at night. A lovely Roto-Rooter plumber arrived within the hour and took care of our problem quickly. He also provided us a lot of education. It was a really fantastic experience.

    The emergency response was great they responded in less than an hour and cleaned the drain. The restoration division responded the next day did a good job of cleaning and disinfecting. They then put fans in the area told us to they would be back the next day to check the situation. It’s been over 48 hours and we haven’t heard anything from them I have left multiple messages and no response. So we are a bit frustrated with the next step

    The plumber came right away and did a great job fixing the clog. He was very professional and worked hard. No complaints even though it’s a bit expensive. He did mention someone would call to schedule a follow up visit, but nobody has called me yet.

    Roto-rooter came in to remove all damage after a leak in the kitchen and basement. Everyone from the company was great. Devan and Mike were the young men I saw the most. Hardworking and very polite. Very good attitudes and nice communication with each step. I would definitely use Roto-rooter again.

    Roto-Rooter was very responsive to my sewer issues and had a repair person at my home the very next day. My only suggestion is that they do both, first clean the sewer pipe, and then immediately after, have the sewer line scoped to make sure all debris was captured during cleaning. In my case, the scoping was not done immediately or within a day of the clean out. However, their customer service was excellent, and they sent a scoping professional immediately and found additional debris and cleaned it out properly. I would recommend them.

    Kate was the first person who I have encountered in the plumbing business that spoke to me like a person, took her time to give a full understanding of options and did not pressure me into doing one thing over another. She did a great job, taught me a lot about my system at home. People need to hire more people like her. Her knowledge, respect and honesty goes on matched.

    No time is good for a plumbing emergency, but the holidays (with guests!) are the worst. Adam came within 18 hours of my call, was professional and kind and explained what he thought the issue was and what to expect. He fixed several problems that had likely been festering for a while.     I had a great experience with them! They said they were going to be at the house between 10am and 2pm and at 1030am, they showed up. Jovanny was great. He was very attentive and he explained everything. All the possibilities, what could happen, how to resolve it, and he did a great job and got the job done quickly. He also called his manager to come take a look, which he came and explained and gave me advice. Then he called Brian to come in to put the camera to see the pipes into the house and out to the main line. He also explained on how to take out the trap and gave an estimate on how much it would cost to avoid future problems. The guys were very knowledgeable and knew what they were doing. Recommend 100%

    Professional, courteous and made sure I understood what was going on the whole time. The price is pretty shocking at $600 to snake a drain (and not with any emergency fees – that was just the base price), but we had to have it done.Still, Im thankful for them. Just starting to question the value at this point. Our local plumber would have been half the cost, and I always thought this was meant to be a better value than calling a plumber for drain snaking specifically.

    No one wants a plumbing problem, but if you have one you want Kait. I was skeptical of Roto Rooter because it is such a huge chain. I anticipated attempts to recommend unnecessary additional services, and maybe speak down to me. Kait came to the door and blew all those preconceived notions away. She was to the point and reviewed my options with pricing. It was even educational. Kait provided prompt services with exceptional customer service.

    Roto-Rooter service was exceptional. I called and was greeted by a friendly customer representative that was able to get a technician over to my house to clear my clogged kitchen drain within 1/2 hour. The technician Glen was polite and was able to to resolve the issue in a timely manner. He made sure the lines were clear and even instructed me in ways in keeping the pipes clear to prevent future clogs. Overall - great job with a highly recommended company.

    James was fantastic, his work ethnics are great this was a very difficult repair and he stayed right on target to repair everything and make it work. I was extremely happy with him and his work.     Matt was very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. We had a blocked toilet and tub along with a very old, slow-flushing toilet. He explained everything in detail to help us understand our house better and provided ideas for potential improvements in future. We didn’t get the sense that he was rushing to leave without truly understanding and fixing the problem (unfortunately the case with other plumbers we’ve had to our house before). I will absolutely use their services again.

    Had a shower drain clog. Company was very easy to deal with. Called, scheduled an appointment and had constant contact until the technician showed up and unclogged the drain. At $645 it was a bit pricey for how much time it took but I guess you’re paying for results and not time.No issues with rhe service or customer service but woulda felt better if the price was like $300.

    Best experience one could hope for when faced with emergency plumbing issues. They arrived well inside the time window given by the dispatcher; were friendly, professional, and fast; cleared out a root ball in the sewer line 35’ outside the house, and miraculously created no mess in the process. They scoped the pipe with a camera and showed exactly where the issues were. Price was quite reasonable for the work and time.

    Excellent experience as a first time Roto Rooter customer! Made the call and the technician was here within an hour and no extra charge for coming on a Sunday! Stephen was very knowledgeable and fixed our clogged kitchen drain pipe in the basement! He gave us tips for keeping the drain clear and we were able to use a $40 coupon to help reduce the cost. We were given an estimated cost which remained the same on completion!

    They were prompt with initial visit for the sewer back up, diagnosed the problem and got us up and running for the night. The next morning the clean up crew arrived promptly and cleaned and dried the area. Currently the crew is jack hammering out the floor to replace the defective pipe.     The service man arrived exactly on time. He surveyed what needed to be done. He was dealing with iron pipes from 1926 and an old soap stone sink, which posed a big challenge. But he was up to it. He opened the access and cleaned out the pipe where the clog was. He made several intelligent recommendations on what my options were moving forward, which were greatly appreciated. Its always comforting having service people who are experienced, knowledgeable, and hardworking. He did a super job getting us back to normal.

    Alex came and unclogged the sewer pipe. He was professional, courteous, patient and thorough. The cost was high than expected, but because it is not based on hours, he was persistent to ensure the flow of water was right before he leaves and cleanup afterward. The experience was excellent. When you are dealing with sewer line clogged, you want to have someone to fix it ASAP and I am glad that he was available in short notice, on Saturday!

    This was my first time using Roto Rooter. I waited the 4 hour window 12-4 and never got a call so I called around 2:30-3 to ask about a time for my water heater repair. The plumber was late on a job “and should have called” to inform me but he was busy on a commercial job. I begged the manager to get a plumber out to my home since it was a safety issue and she was able to get the plumber here by 5 pm. Mike was awesome. He repaired the problem but the price was high. I really liked the plumber but Roto Rooter needs to follow up with their appointments. They over charge especially for parts.

    Called Roto Rooter to unclog my Grease trap as it was overflowing and they showed up promptly and did the work efficiently.     Glen, the technician who helped us out was very knowledgeable. He was able to identify the main at first glance within the first five minutes of walking into our home.     The folks from Roto-Rooter replaced the sacrificial anode in the water heater that they also installed a year ago. They replaced the filter for our well-water. They also checked out a couple of concerns that I was worried about. Their experience in checking out leaks was logical and put my mind at ease. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter’s plumbers; it was by chance that a coworker recommended them to me before the pandemic was in full swing. They re-piped the plumbing in my house at that time, and did a wonderful job. Very skilled, so I am happy to have found them!

    Had a great experience with Roto-Rooter today. We had 2 clogged sink drains. I called the office and was given a time frame and received a call when they were 20 minutes away.Repair person Aaron arrived and assessed the issue. Found out we needed a plumber. He explained what the problem was and I wasnt charged because he couldnt unclog the drains.Frank, Plumber arrived as promised and quickly figured out how to solve the problem. Frank cleared both drains and was very easy to work with. I feel very confident issues are fixed.I will continue to use Roto-Rooter for any future plumbing & Drainproblems.

    Roto-rooter gave us a window and then called to let us know when someone was coming. Rafal came in the window they told us he would. He was professional and knowledgeable, figured out the problem and fixed it (It was not straightforward) as soon as possible and avoided a much bigger problem down the road.     We’ve had a drainage issue at our house affecting two of our urinals. I called Roto Rooter today and was delighted when Stephen H. showed up the same day, 3 hours after my call. Stephen helped point out the issue quickly and fixed both urinals within 2 hours after having taken both out of the wall. Stephen was friendly and did an excellent job in such a short amount of time.

    The technician was so thorough and fixed our issues. He was so friendly, personable, and knowledgeable about what the issue was and how to fix it and how to try to prevent issues in the future too. the only negative, I called at 7:30pm and was given a window of 7:45-9:45pm. I got a few updates from from dispatch that i was “next on the list” but no one ever came. I called at 11:30 pm and they said possibly after 1am someone may be available. I asked to get on a list for the morning. I was give a window of 8am-12pm and the technician showed up just after 12. I don’t necessarily have an issue with the response time, I just wish they were more realistic and honest with me regarding the time line rather than keeping me waiting.

    Roto-Rooter guys did an amazing job for me this past week. They remedied flooding from damaged pipes using a snake, camera and descaler and then they took up my congoleum floor of 38 years and cut away water damaged wallboard around bathroom fixtures. The kitchen and bathroom are now all ready for reconstruction. Erik Daigle did an amazing job with Wichie setting up and removing the giant dehumidifiers and fans which they monitored over a 72 hour period, coordinated by Anthony Burke, the water restoration manager. All of the 9 or 10 guys that were involved in various ways during the week were punctual, courteous and willing to explain everything to me. I am really impressed with their professionalism and so very grateful that they were there to help in my emergency.

    We are really glad we called Roto-Rooter when our downstairs toilet backed up and overflowed yesterday! James arrived shortly after we phoned. We showed him what had happened -- the stoppage affected all the pipes that go across our basement and lead to the town sewer system. It was a big job that required removing the whole toilet and running the Roto-Rooter machine up, down, and around bends and corners. It took three hours of hard work. James did a great job and really knew what he was doing. There must have been many blockages on the long line but he cleared it all up.     I just bought this house and the very first night, at 8 p.m. the toilet wouldnt drain. A family of four with one toilet in the house is a risk but having no toilet is out of the question.Would have been 5 stars if dispatch hadnt caught themselves up in a couple lies. We have an agent finishing up a job in your area! Hes finishing up so just travel time. I had called to check up on arrival time after an hour and got a different answer from a different representative saying he was coming from City W (not in the area). He actually came from City S and had to be woken up. Could dispatch have needed to switch techs? Sure, but the timeline and travel time from both cities point towards over promising/lying.Once he arrived, though, he was professional, courteous, and efficient. Tried to save me money by graduating the efforts from cheapest to most expensive. He discussed/ showed where he thought the clog was and enlisted my help to hear where the auger was in the pipes from the basement. Sadly, it wound up being the most expensive because of where the clog was.Because of the work done, I now have a 6 month warranty on the pipe from clogging; a value added in peace of mind. A pity the toilet didnt clog during regular business hours but at least Roto-rooter got us sorted.Would recommend for after hours emergency type calls but would have preferred to call around due to the pricing if I had the option.

Could not have found and corrected issue without his expertise! He had the knowledge and the tools to get job done and was pleasant and personable too!     There are a lot of good things to say about Roto-Rooter (RR). They are generally available 24 hours/day, 7 days a week. When I had a problem on a Saturday evening, they had a technician at my home within 2 hours. He tried pretty standard remedies but was unable to solve the problem, so he arranged to have another, more experienced technician come out the next day. That person was able to completely solve it.Although RR is not always the least expensive place to go to for a plumbing problem, their fee is a flat fee, contingent on resolving the issue: no matter the day or time of day, or number of visits it takes.. This relieves a lot of stress.RR does try to hawk its Pipe Shield product, an enzymatic gunk cleaner to be applied once a month. I think the jury is out, as far as my research can determine, on the superiority of this product, and one can always just say no.This is my third time in 20 years using RR to solve the same persistent pipe clog problem (a defect in the basic construction of my drainage pipes), and the fact that they have had success (lasting about 10 years) is why I will continue to call them when I need this kind of service.

    The only reason I’m giving Roto Rooter 5 stars is because the tech that eventually came to my house, Rafal Lepicki, was knowledgeable, helpful, skilled, and friendly. He patiently explained his understanding of the problem, how’d he address it, and my options for service. Rafal also offered advice for long term maintenance and recommended several products and strategies for avoiding slow drains and further root intrusion. His work and service warrant a 5 star review.The downside of using Roto Rooter was that the call center and dispatcher were infuriating to work with. I called for an ASAP sewage blockage and was told a tech would be there in 2 hours. 3 hours later I hadn’t heard any news so I called back and they told me that they didn’t have anyone to send and that their technicians can only work when it’s daylight (?!?!?) and that there was nothing that they could do. After some insisting, they again said they would send a tech over in 2 hours (presumably armed with a flashlight to combat the unanticipated setting of the sun). Again I heard nothing and as it was getting late in the night, I again called back and said to wait until morning. The following morning Rafal arrived at 9am and saved the day. Presuming you can get past the call center/dispatcher, I can recommend Roto Rooter.

    Nick and Dan came in to clear out roots from my Sewer pipe something that happens every 3-5 years. They were both professional, clean, and thorough. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is due yo the price hike. I paid $250 more than I did 3 years ago and RR’s new charge for removing a toilet (which had to be done to clear out the sewer line in this house) was $300 which is a bit much. Nick gave me a $200 discount which took the sting out of it but overall it was still $250 higher than I had to pay last time.

    Time was further winding down later into the night. We felt panic set over all of us as we struggled to think of a solution to our clogged drain beneath the musky and poorly lit basement that wreaked of putrid waste. We had tried to snake every possible entry point but to no avail as our basement continued to flood. I then had the quick idea to call for an emergency plumber, hoping that this sort of service existed. Who or where exactly this service came from didn’t matter and RotoRooter was the first option that appeared with plenty of positive reviews. I didn’t think twice and called them, explaining my situation with haste. They were going to dispatch someone within two hours, with a promised call an hour before their ETA. The hand strikes quarter past 9, and suddenly there was a couple of bangs. I rush to the back with no one in sight and proceed to the front, calling out in the darkness. A man, Aaron, appears and I introduce myself to him, relieved that help was finally here. He came down to the basement and all eyes followed. He learned of our situation and explained exactly what he thought was going on and set expectations with all honesty and complete integrity. He also taught me valuable information that was indispensable. We decided to utilize his services because of how forthcoming, and honest he was, along with his great sense of humor. He got the job done in what seemed like an eternity, down to about half an hour. If the story seemed to come to an abrupt end without much detail in the latter parts, that’s because Aaron got the job done before I can even make sense of what happened. He will be our go to guy if something like this ever happens again. And like that, he was off into the night again, ready to save lives and to restore flow and order.

    Scheduling was easy, and the technician who came was able to fix the clogged bathtub drain pipe by snaking it and getting some hair out, so I was happy that the problem was solved efficiently. During the initial phone call when I asked the people on the phone how much the job would cost, they refused to tell me and said that the technician would tell me when they arrived and assessed the situation, and that I could refuse the service if I wanted to.     Luis came out quickly and within half an hour of my call. He is professional and clean in his work. He is friendly. He wasnt able to find a clog in 15 feet and when he left, the drain was still not open and barely seeping water out of the sink, and the P-Trap was newly leaking at a joint. I am in a multi-unit building so 15 would have been already outside my unit and we both figured the building would have to access a main waste line from there. I didnt know I could ask him to run further down the line to see if something was blocked farther out right then however, and we ended up having to have a call-back 4 days later to get the line clear. Joe (supervisor, who is an awesome and knowledgeable guy) came the second time (1/10/2020) and ran 75 down the line and cleared it. Joe also fixed the P-Trap so it was not dripping and advised to consider having the sink to drain tailpipe replaced so it is a better straight connection and easier to run augers through in the future.

    Emir was great as he walked us through a very messy and upsetting situation. Part 2 happens tomorrow...Emir and his Associate came in today to perform the final step of Jetting. Very professional and took the time to explain as we watched a screen. I would have no issue calling Roto-Rooter again, should the need arise. Hopefully, it wont happen anytime soon.

    Ray came to rescue for a clogged main drain pipe to the septic. Very professional. We felt completely happy with his work. After unclogging the pipe, Ray shew me through the camera how it looks and had us pressure tested the drain. Listen, the sound of the water flow through the pipe is like music. 5 stars job!

    Jamie from Roto Rooter came out and worked his tail off. There was a huge clog in our sewer main almost 100 feet from the house. He wran cutters down to attack the roots and soften the blockage in the line. Then he jetted the line athe way way to the city main. While retrieving the jet he was showing me a live video of how clean our line now is. I recommend 😊

    Had a nightmare sewer pipe blockage which persisted for days. The Roto Rooter team of 4 techs who addressed the issue over a 3 day period were fantastic.Burim, Sergey, Angelo and Glen were always pleasant, courteous and extremely knowledgable.The regional manager, Emir (#2893), took it upon himself to make sure the issue was resolved. Sent a camera down the3 pipe, only to find a plastic brush causing the blockage. He came to my house on his day off, detected the elusive problem, and volunteered to even return later in the day to assist the scheduled high powered jet procedure to dislodge the brush. He wanted to personally assure that the3 job was finished correctly.My thanks and deep appreciation to Emir and his crew who have helped my family through a very stressful week.     This is my first time calling Roto-Rooter, and it was a great experience! My kitchen sink was not draining, and i tried all the usual remedies... but still not working! Then Jeff Dulude, (Technician #140) showed up right on time! He was professional, friendly and figured the best way to solve this problem in a 100 + year old plumbing system.     I purchased my old Money Pit house a few month back and the tub never did drain right. then a few weeks ago I woke up on a Sunday morning and my tub was clogged!     My water heater was broken for a few days and everyone one I called was saying that I needed a new water heater without even coming by the house.
