    Last week, we encountered an issue with our tankless water heater, as it wasn’t providing hot water. We called A&L Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Inc., and to our surprise, an appointment was scheduled right away. Tiffany was reassuring and professional, assuring us that their team would resolve our problem. The entire communication process was smooth and transparent, leaving no questions unanswered.A few hours later, Shawn M. from A&L Plumbing arrived at our home and quickly identified and fixed the problem, which was caused by the exhaust pipe detaching due to construction work. Shawn is an incredibly pleasant person, kind smile, and impressive professional skills. He even wore protective shoe covers when entering our house, showing great attention to cleanliness—small details that really make a difference.The appointment itself came with a flat fee of $145, with the possibility of additional charges depending on the fix. However, in our case, the company only charged us the $145 for both the visit and the repair.Overall, we would rate A&L Plumbing 5 stars out of 5.     Incredible staff and company! We cant thank them enough! Our furnace gave out 3 days before Christmas,staff came out that day to inspect, order new furnace next day and was able to install new furnace on Christmas Eve! Again, Thank you so A &L plumbing for delivering us heat before Christmas!!!!

    I dont always write reviews but was compelled to do so with A & L Plumbing. I had a leak in my kitchen faucet. It started leaking even when the faucet was off. A & L answered my call, sent someone out, they sent me a text that allowed me to track where the technician was and when he would arrive. He was there within 1 hour of my initial call!! When he got there, he was professional, communicated clearly, fixed the problem and even gave me some tips on how to avoid it in the future. The price was very fair, especially when considering the excellent level of knowledge, communication and service. Do not hesitate to use them for any Plumbing, Heating or Cooling needs.

    We had an emergency with our toilet. The flange was extremely old, cast iron and broken. I was able to make an appointment the same day for same day service, they were very accommodating with the booking!Mike M was very helpful and remained patient with the disaster that was uncovered when taking the toilet off the ground. He was very friendly and did a great job installing the new flanged. I would highly recommend A&L!

    A&L installed a brand new heating system--radiant heating beneath my floors and a new boiler--this spring. They did an expert job. Truly efficient and completely professional. Then they took care of smaller projects before we moved in--new toilets, sinks, a special pump we needed for hot water. Again, they addressed every project with careful attention, sending the best technician out for each job, large or small. They were quick to send someone over each time I called. The office is pleasant and completely on top of everything, and the technicians are always pleasant and more than willing to explain problems and their solutions. Couldnt be happier.

    A and L replaced our failing HVAC system including tankless hot water in the middle of Covid. They were organized and efficient and gave us info on getting rebates from mass save. Recently we asked for our first service call and the technician arrived within 2 hrs and evaluated and repaired the problem. Both tech and office staff were courteous and professional.     A&L did a terrific job for me in a difficult situation. After returning home after nearly six weeks out of the country, I entered my house and found a flood on my basement floor and no heat in the house. A&L came out promptly and fixed both problems in a very helpful and professional manner.

    Couldnt have enjoyed the experience more, especially since it was a water heater explosion that needed attending. As you can imagine we were in a frenzied state of repair when they arrived. I cant speak to price, as we didnt do a lot of shopping around, but the value was certainly felt. I dont expect I will be price shopping in the future, as I will be looking to A&L for my future work.

    They came promptly to inspect my water heater. They live video chatted with the water heater manufacturer, using an iPad, and discovered it was failing (leaking) due to original plumber (not them. A company out of Billerica) had installed the water heater venting upside down, incorrectly, which caused the water heater to begin to fail. They were able to get me on the schedule before Christmas and fixed it all within one day and fixed the venting. I dont know how their price compares to other companies because they are the only company around MetroWest that actually have an office manager who answers the phone and promptly calls people back. Literally other companies only have answering machines and most companies never called me back. One other company called me a week after I left a message. Imagine if I had a plumbing emergency! If you want a company that is there to answer your call and help you asap, I recommend A and L plumbing. They are a family owned company which started in Sudbury and moved to Marlboro. They run the business from a home, detached garage office business. You can drive to their location to pay the bill or chat with the office manager in person. I used them because they are highly recommended in all local Marlborough Facebook resident groups. In addition, I had them clean my furnace. They are the only company to alert me that there was a fire hazard on my furnace. A device that prevents the furnace condensation from freezing in winter was not attached to a device that auto shuts off. The cord was getting too hot. They showed me to unplug it or install a device that could shut it off automatically so it only runs in cold weather. If I kept it plugged in, it could lead to a fire in the attic, where furnace is.
