    Darryl arrived on time. He was very thorough in assessing the current electrical and gas service to the residence. He asked good questions, provided options, and answered all of my questions.     Tony Huffman did excellent maintenance work on our generator today. He let us know when he would arrive, very efficiently replaced the oil filter and spark plugs, and then tested our generator. He let us know that the electricity would cut out, so we could save our work and turn off our computers. He even wore shoe covers inside the house, which is better than we do ourselves. Thanks to Tony for excellent service!

We had a bracket come loose supporting our pipe mast and Ricky found a solution that will secure the pipe mast and not come loose again.     Interacting with their back office leaves much to be desired, but the repair tech James was outstanding: showed up for an emergency call to repair my Generac in a storm at midnight, and did a thorough exam and correctly diagnosed the problem. He provided expert insights on whole home generator requirements, conducted a detailed analysis of our electrical panel and breakers, and advised on the optimal placement for the generator, concrete pad, and propane tank. Brian also explained the best positions for the transfer switch, electrical cable runs, and propane piping in a clear and understandable way.     Have a 2016 generac generator serviced by Benfield. Wanted to give a shout out and thank you to Ricky Potter, the technician who just did my fall check-up. He found several issues that could have caused problems in case of a power failure. As we were going on travel soon, I really appreciated his thorough inspection and taking care of the issues on the spot. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very thorough. Took the time to explain what he had done and provided a follow up report , which was the most detailed and helpful I have received. I assume it’s new format and I like it very much!

    I recently had Benfield install a whole home Generac back-up generator. As part of this process, they also had to replace the propane line from my tank to my house.I can’t begin to tell you how glad I am that I chose Benfield. Everyone that I spoke to, or worked with, were extremely professional, polite, honest, and friendly. They were very clear, from the very beginning, of exactly what I would expect throughout the whole process. This included an exact timeline. They stuck to their timeline exactly, and everything happened exactly as they said it would. They even finished ahead of schedule! The shop foreman (not sure if that’s the right term), Mario, worked with me hand in hand through the whole process. He discussed literally everything with me, so I was always completely informed. Whenever I had a question or concern, I could email Mario and he’d have a person reply to me within an hour. I can’t stress enough how well Benfield communicated everything with me through the entire process.Furthermore, Benfield were complete professionals. It was blatantly obvious that they are experts in their field and knew exactly what they were doing. Even the county inspector noted “Yeah, we don’t have to worry about these guys, they’re always perfect.” I think having a reputation like that with a county inspector speaks miles about them. Mario and his crew know what they are doing, and they’ll go through everything to make sure you get exactly what you want and need.The generator has been amazing. We lost power for about 8 hours once, after it was installed. Everything in the house worked great, without any stress or surge. The engine in the generator operates very smoothly and can power the entire house at a relatively low rpm, which will prolong engine life.The installation price was very fair. I ran the numbers on everything myself, and considering the time and people involved I think they’re quote was a very fair deal.The Generac generator is a great investment, and the people at Benfield are THE people you want to install it. Go with Generac and Benfield and you will not be disappointed!
