I called SLS out for an emergency service last weekend, a downstream effect of my water heater going out. They fixed that and also took a look at the water heater for no extra charge.While they dont stock the heat pump water heater I wanted to replace my expired gas unit with, they did give me a good quote for installing it if I bought it myself. So I did. They did a great job; installed everything very neatly, capped my gas line and cemented up the vent hole through the chimney, and even cleaned up the rust stains that my old heater had left. Took everything with them, no mess at all. New water heater works like a dream. Very happy with the service!

The team which came to help out with my issue was very diligent and professional. They gave me a heads-up call to confirm our appointment and, while working on my issue (which took longer that we originally expected to be), called another customer to apologize about potential delay and to update on the expected arrival time, which to me is an indication of people carrying about their clients. If all the SLS Plumbing crews are like that - solid 5 stars hands down. Thank you guys!

We used SLS for an emergency valve replacement on our shower and the experience was fantastic! Scheduling emergency service over the phone was very easy, and a tech arrived within the next hour. Tony was very knowledgeable and even helped put back up the shower trim that came with the valve. Definitely would use them again!

Existing water heater was 13 years old and my wife noticed it started leaking last night. Called SLS as recommenced by my neighbor and Scott answered the phone immediately. As my other neighbors were had experienced the same problem with their water heaters in the last 3 years, I found out that I needed it to be replaced.He quoted me a price over the phone for a new water heater and labor and I trusted it to be fair as he was recommended by a good neighbor that uses their services for his other properties that he manages.Scott was able to send a team out in about 1 hour and Tony and Jake were very courteous, efficient, kind and professional. It took them a little while with a few unforeseen challenges but they worked with me and Scott took care of any unnecessary charges that could have easily incurred.It was a smaller tank than what I had but I was assured that it would be more than sufficient to take care of my household for at least the next several years.I will definitely be using SLS Plumbing for future services that I will need.

Fixed my kitchen faucet and helped me with issues in my bathroom with water pressure.Adding to my review. 9/20/24Just had Tony from SLS again for a toilet repair. Was great with scheduling, and upfront with costs and options. Extremely helpful when some unexpected issues came up. Scott came out right away so they could problem solve and get everything completed. They are very good people! Again, friendly, professional and competent!Im glad to know I have someone to call that I am comfortable with if I ever have plumbing issues in the future!

Bill answered the call Sunday morning at 9:30. No answering machine. Water Heater not working, not leaking, pilot light wont stay lit. He provided cost of new water heater and explained Sunday additional costs. When told it could wait until Monday, he scheduled service call for 8:30 give or take a few minutes. Scott & Tony, were here at 9:00 AM, after a flat tire. They introduced themselves, were driving SJS Plumbing truck and put on booties in the entranceway of the house. After I explained problem, they explained cost to replace the parts, explained expected life of water heater 9-12 years, mine was 12.5 years old, sanded the ignitor/burner which didnt help. Water heater replaced. They were respectful, explained options, costs and moved old and new heaters through the back door when I requested. They thoroughly cleaned up, made sure the water heater was running. Would recommend SJS Plumbing. I called them as they are local to me. As with all contractors, get a written estimate prior to having the work done. Didnt do much shopping as it was a Sunday. Price is comparable to what Ive heard others pay for new water heater installed.

He quickly identified the issue and explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. Their rates were very reasonable, and the quality of work was outstanding. I would highly recommend SLS Plumbers.

I was extremely satisfied with the service from SLS. We initially had another plumbing company come out, and they recommended that our cast iron pipes be replaced to the tune of over $20,000. They claimed the pipes would likely fail and then if we didnt get them repaired it would cost upwards of $30-40,000 to repair the entire line if it failed. Conveniently they had a same day discount if we did the service immediately that we would be able to get 10% off, a nice pressure tactic. As a temporary solution, they recommended hydro jetting the pipes and repairing a specific spot for around $6,000. Jetting was going to be around $4,000 by itself.Thankfully we received a second opinion from SLS with a much more reasonable price. They were able to offer the same service for hydro jetting and also a camera recording before and after of the line for around $1,000. The plumbers that came to do the service showed up the day after we called them and finished the job in about 1 hour. They also took the time to discuss preventative maintenance options in the future and educate us on our options. They didnt think our pipes needed any level of repairs at this time and mentioned they see things significantly worse than our pipes that still function properly.Id recommend reaching out to SLS if youre at all worried your current plumber may be taking advantage of you. Scott was incredibly kind when we initially called and took the time to give us his opinion based on the information we provided over the phone. I was very impressed with SLS start to finish.

I was very please with the service I received from Tony the plumber. I was looking for a company that did both plumbing repairs as well as HVAC, as I have a humidifier as part of the furnace. I choose SLS based on some of the positive customer comments I read. Some of the plumbers I used previously seemed to charge more than the service provided. When I called for the appointment they gave me the price and estimated cost. Tony arrived at the time scheduled, did the plumbing repairs and also checked and installed some of the replacement parts for the humidifier that I had purchased. He was very professional, didnt waste time, and completed the repairs to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will be utilizing them in the future if necessary.

My hot water tank was leaking badly on a late saturday afternoon. I got the name and number of SLS Plumbing from my property mgmnt company. I called SLS and a real person answered the phone. Scott listened to my issue and sent a technician right out. The leak was stopped, the tank was drained, and I ordered a new hot water tank. Two technicians came to remove the old one and install a new tank. The technicians were very professional, courteous and friendly. They answered all my questions. They wore booties over their shoes so they wouldnt dirty my floors. They were in and out in about two and a half hours. They took any and all debris with them and completely cleaned up after themselves. Scott and Jake were a pleasure to work with! I will definitely be using SLS for all my future plumbing problems! Can’t thank SLS enough. I was in my basement last week and I noticed one of the walls in my crawl was wet around my drain line. I was able to recreate the flooding. A different plumber came out that was recommended to me. He was professional, inspected the line, and told me “in my experience…” I asked him to scope the line to diagnose the issue so I could see it with my own eyes and he sold me on “that’s an additional charge that won’t fix the issue.” He gave me a monstrous quote so I got a second opinion. I googled my area and SLS came up. Called and Scott answered at 5PM and booked me for the following morning.They came out and immediately encouraged scoping the line. They found two blockages, rodded the line and cleared both. We tried to recreate the flooding and could not. They suggested that I address replacing the line (which includes digging outside) but that I could do it on my own time.When I do decide to replace the line, and if I ever needed the line cleared again, I will call SLS again. I have nothing but positive words to speak of Scott and the PROFESSIONAL plumbers of SLS! Short story long... I spoke with Scott over the phone and gave him the run-down of my problem, my home lay out and what I thought could be some potential problems for my plumbing issue. He was more than obliged to give me his opinions, including where to start if I were to attempt to solve it myself. I attempted and failed. Called him back the next morning, not in emergency mode, and told him I needed help. He was pretty busy and I have a strange schedule myself; could be a couple days. I could tell on the phone that kind of bothered him and he wanted to solve the problem sooner. He ended up having a crew make an end of day stop for me THE SAME DAY! Im terrible with names but I believe it was Tony and Joe that came over. They were the epitome of professionals - knowledgeable, fast and hardworking. This was the end of their day. Im sure they were hoping it was a fast, easy fix (as was I). It wasnt. It was dirty, nasty and time consuming. Im a blue collar worker myself and I can say I would have been pretty upset with what happened. Ill leave it at that. Joe and Tony werent, or at least didnt let on that they were deterred. Absolute professionals! After all that, at the end of their day, when most folks are racing out the door to get home and start their evening routines they also cleaned up MUCH more than I expected them to - and again, quickly! These guys are not trying to milk the clock by any means! After all was said and done, yes, it did cost me more than I was hoping - but not much more! And these are well trained (cant say professional enough), highly skilled individuals that absolutely deserve every penny (and more) that theyre making! After reading all the reviews, seeing one nasty one, and seeing one well thought out response (usually business owners dont take the time to go into that much detail about negative responses), I thought SLS deserves a detailed review - and IMO, if you want what I believe is the best of the best, people who know what theyre doing, people who know codes, people who work hard with a great attitude at the end of the day - call SLS. Excellent service at a great price. Diagnosed the issue with my toilet and fixed it. I thought I needed a cast iron flange replacement due to spinning flange bolts but instead of doing that, they told me it was just the wax ring and a missing nut on the flange bolts. Saved me $100. Would use them again with any plumbing, heat, cooling, or electrical issue.

I had a broken sewer pipe 5 feet under the ground. The pipe was was broken right outside of the foundation. These guys hand dug the hole because the machine would have damaged the property and we had a party scheduled just a week after this repair.The team they sent was as professional as anyone could ask for and respectful as could be. If I could give 10 stars I would. For 6 years we have not had hot water pressure in our upstairs bathroom and we finally said enough is enough, lets get it fixed. After 2 other plumbers couldnt figure it out, I reached out to Scott at SLS and explained my situation. He was thorough in the breakdown of pricing and approach for the job. His plumber, Tony, who has been with him for 18 years (Scott is a great guy so I can see why), showed up at 8am on the dot, which was the time I was told. When Tony realized there would be the potential of cutting open a wall, rather than wing it he contacted Scott and got his opinion. Scott came by and diagnosed the issue. He pinpointed exactly what kitchen cabinet had to come down (once we realized the issue was further down in the line) and low and behold found the copper pipe that was completely clogged. Took about 3 hours and we have hot water in our upstairs sink again. Fair price, great communication and what I really appreciated, Tony works C L E A N (wiped my countertops down as if it was his own). Thanks guys this was a great experience!!

I have used S.L.S Plumbing for home and busines since they opened their doors and this review is long overdue. From price to professionalism to prompt service, it would be next to impossible to find anyone who can compare! Every job they have done for me has been completed in the time they state and at very reasonable prices, and other then the stellar work, you wouldnt even know they had been there! I called because I needed a new water heater and valve since mine broke. It was nice to get some one actually answer the phone instead of a machine and this was on a Sunday. Tony and Joe were able to come out first thing in the morning and get everything installed. I liked how the valve was done and existing pipe modified to not touch the flue like it was before. The new water heater works great and lasts longer on hot then my old 25 yr old unit. Definitely will use again.
