On Sunday, 8/4/2024, I had a backup problem in both my bathrooms involving both toilets, the shower stall and a bathtub. I live on a ground floor in a condo complex. Needless to say, immediate help was necessary. I Called Roto Rooter, which has served me well in the past, and sure enough they came to my rescue within less than 3 hours. In less than 2 hours time after Gabriel arrived, my problem was solved. There was a small bit of cleanup left for me; however Gabriel made an effort to leave a minimum of water and soiled wall behind. This technician was very capable, knowledgeable, respectful and polite. I am so grateful for Roto Rooters service, and yes, I will continue to recommend Roto Rooter to my friends and family. Felt a little overwhelmed on what plumbing company to choose due to looking online at reviews/prices etc. Someone recommended Roto-Rooter, and I was a bit hesitant at first since they are a larger company, but they did not disappoint!Before they even begin working they assess the issue and provide a ballpark quote of what the work will cost. (Not many do that)Tomas came out and assessed our issue (clogged main line was backing up through the basement) and even though he seemed young, he was super knowledgeable, extremely professional, and went above and beyond in explaining and giving helpful tips to avoid it happening again.Will definitely use in the future if need be, and 100% recommend!

Two previous plumbers and almost $1,000 later we still had the same problem inside a few weeks each. The Roto-Rooter plumber that was assigned to this issue seemed to perform an initial thorough inspection. He explained to us what needed to be done and after the previous two plumbers my doubts were at a maximum High, yet a majority of what he explained seemed to make sense. Although the cost was a little more than the two previous combined my wife and I held our breaths and approved. Although things seem to have been corrected I have waited a while to send this evaluation. His performance was clean professional and to this date successful. I appreciate the company warranty that is provided and Hope I would never need to use it. We apologize for not recalling the name of the gentleman but hope that job history will show that and he gets a company pat on the back. If we ever have another plumbing issue your company will be the first that we call and we will be happy to refer your company to others.

After he was done they ran a camera through the drain to show what they had done and future problems that may arise. Felipe was excellent and very professional, I cant recommend him enough. They are a little bit more pricey than some companies but it comes with a 6 month guarantee and I think its well worth the price when it comes to this kind of stuff in your home.

I called to receive assistance with a water heater and to obtain a second opinion regarding a plumber (and I use the term very loosely) who has done previous work. Pat (#1899) was the tech. He was relatively on time (he reported having driven an hour to get to our house, which told me why the wait was longer than I expected, and it had stormed around the same time), which was greatly appreciated. (The above plumber arrived five hours later than he stated the day prior). Pat was friendly, kind, VERY patient (I asked a LOT of questions) and HONEST, professional, and felt safe to be around. He explained what was wrong with the hot H2O tank, explained that some previous work on the heater should not have been done and why. He replaced the tank today (the above plumber said it could not be done until Monday; I had to then cover the heater with viscain plastic until the leaks from the pipes above the tank were fixed as they were the reason why our heater was not working). Pat reinforced what I figured was accurate regarding the plumber. I think the whole process with Pat was about three & 1/2 hours (to include his having to travel to obtain the heater). We have much more plumbing work that needs to be done, and I will be a repeat customer. I am so VERY appreciative and thankful regarding the assistance I received.

We recently had a water back up in my home. We hired Roto Rooter b/c they had great reviews on yelp. Our first experience with what is normally a very stressful time was made easier by the team. The first point of contact was with the plumber Spiro, who was very professional and honest. His advice on what can and cannot be done was in line with second opinions that we had received. In the end it was an issue with our building and not our individual unit, so nothing in our unit could be done. They did not charge for coming out and assessing the situation.The water remediation team came next, we would like to give a special thanks to Theodore Zalesiak the field supervisor. Most of his time was explaining to us what is happening and walking us through the whole process. His patience and communication and knowledge was invaluable. Jose Lopez, part of the labor tasked to remove all damaged goods in our unit (flooring and wall) was detail oriented, communicative and went above and beyond. While working in our bathroom he detected a leak coming from behind one of our tiles in the bathroom, he filmed it and shared it with us. We would not have known about the leak otherwise b/c it rarely occurs now that we are keeping an eye on it. We felt taken care of by the company. Everyone was very helpful communicative and always available for any questions or concerns we had. I recommended them to my neighbor who went through the same experience and I would recommend them to everyone who wants an honest and professional experience.

However, Mike was beyond awesome, knowledgeable about what was going on, extremely empathetic and sincere to my unfortunate ejector pump break that is now also resulting in a complete carpet rip up (not even 3 y/ o basement :() and water restoration process. He thoroughly explained all of what might have occurred and why. My only reason for NOT awarding him this job is because I reached the developer, and they sent someone out. I expect they felt some level of guilt, but no worries, Mike was still able to replace another space restricted kitchen faucet instead, and delivered!!! He is extremely personable, yet professional, and really set my mind at ease after this awful occurrence. He described the water restoration process and Theodore to the most minuet detail, which was reassuring when Theodore showed up and delivered as promised also. Please have cash on hand as I didnt. Because of his delivery, I really wanted to tip him, but had no cash on hand since this happened so last minute. What was more genuine is how he kept stopping me from running to the ATM every time I tried to create an excuse to leave. :) I only wish I had the strength to give more praises and accolades, but the sewage water from the broken pump has me about to faint. lol n not

I had concerns about a possible main sewer line leak or clog, I called and setup a late afternoon appointment for the next day. The tech (Eraldi) arrived on time. He asked very helpful questions about my problems and decided to call a field supervisor(Kelly) to use a camera to check my line after cleaning it out.It ended up that I had a pretty bad root problem in 3 different spots in my line. I had a issue with my tub pipes. The water was not receding. They were the original pipes of my home, which was built around the late 40’s to early 50’s.I called Roto Rooter to rod the tub drain but their tools would not fit because of the old pipes. The resolve was to cut the area underneath the tub to get to the pipes and replace them with PVC.What they found was rusted and corroded pipes that was completely clogged.It was extensive work, but Jason, Jesus and Tyler showed up and completed the job. In the end the drain was unclogged and my family was able to use the tub and shower successfully! Had an issue with my main line back flowing in early October. Roto Rooter was our first and only call. Technician arrived within 2 hours. The issue was resolved. Unfortunately, 3 weeks later we began having the same issue with the clogged drain. Roto Rooter again sent out a technician within two hours of the call, and resolved the issue free of charge. We have been satisfied with their level of professionalism.

The technician came to our home and tried to clear our drain but couldn’t. He called for help and when the other technician he determined that my drain pipe was collapsed and needed to be replaced. The cost for the initial technician was $265 and the repair cost is going to be $4,400. I was hoping that they would not charge for the initial tech as he did not complete the service and I did hire them to do the more expensive repair. They did discount some of the cost from the first tech.

David determined the cause (2nd floor shower cartridge spraying water when running) and made the repair. He also brought in a field supervisor to help us deal with the days worth of water that leaked into our walls from top floor to basement. David was very professional and communicative, explaining all of his work and letting us know when he would be back after picking up the needed part for installing. I was very happy with Davids work and appreciate his professionalism.
