    Had an issue that required immediate service (tank pumping) on New Years eve afternoon. I called at least 10 services (all more local to me) - no one had staff willing to come out. (including one service that committed, then called back to cancel). Sorry - wait until Thursday (2 days away - not a great solution). I finally reached Bay State on the list - thinking it was a long-shot - they are 45 minutes away from me in Norfolk. They were very understanding, and had their on-call technician at my house 2 hours later - and he was great (sorry - didnt catch his name). They addressed the issue. Im incredibly fortunate that I made one more phone call and found Bay State. I highly recommend reaching out to them. Their customer service shines far above what others were willing to do.

    Scheduled quickly! Fast Service! Nothing like the gross experience I remembered. I bought the house about 2 yrs ago, and didn’t know where to call. I had seen their trucks around and Googled them. Turns out, they knew my system, tanks, size, last date done, etc etc. They arrived, did the job, and answered my questions (as a first time home owner, whose only memories/knowledge of the process were from my childhood.). It was great!. Much more reasonable than I expected too. Highly recommend!!

    Great experience getting our septic tank pumped, even tolerated my terrible dad puns and shitty jokes (there’s a bad one now). Easy to book, fast response time, respectful over the phone and once in site. Very knowledgeable, answered my questions, gave some advice, and really knows his shit. No pun intended. Well, maybe a little.

    I use Bay State for my food, grease and oil separation tanks at a food manufacturing plant. They are always super attentive. Dotty is the best! Great communication! Always on time, but usually early. Personally, I have used Bay State while working at 3 different companies over the years and have never had any issues.

    I have an upgraded Title V compliant system for a house built in 1988 but which I purchased at the end of 2021. Upgrade done in early 2022 to comply with the current Title V requirement included converting the first tank into a liquid/solids separation tank, installation of a second tank as a liquids tank from which the contents were pumped into the mounded leaching field. A couple of weeks ago, shortly after the storm that dumped 2 of rain in one day, there was some drain water overflow in my basement by the stand pipe into which the washing machine drain hose was inserted. Seemed to be a one time event. Today, I went to the basement which smelled a tad funky, like a mouse had died. A few hours later the Mrs. was yelling about water leaking again. After calling three other providers. one which no longer serviced the area, the next which had no openings until after the weekend (this was on a Thursday) and a no return call, I called Bay State, explained the problem and they said they would be over in a hour. Sure enough, one hour later Quintana came, examined both tanks and determined that the filter in the separation tank was clogged and needed cleaning He also pumped tank #1. We ran the water and flushed toilets and all is now good. Cost was less than a tank pumping cost in my prior house in CT. The two other providers I talked to mentioned Bay State and indicated that they had the most coverage in the area. Recommended!

    Bay State showed up within the time frame they gave and the price was reasonable. The gentleman who serviced the tank was both professional and informative. He explained there were some things we should be paying attention to due to the age of the system, and a few tips to keep the system working properly. Well be calling them again.

    Bay State Sewage bought out the company I had servicing my septic system. The old company had trucks that leaked hydraulic fluid on my driveway every time the showed up at my house. Bay State has newer equipment and NO leaking trucks. Performed the job at a reasonable price. Happy flushing once again.

    Been dealing with this company for the better part of 25 years. Recently had them do a title 5 inspection and some upgrades to my septic system. Every time I have called them they have been responsive to my needs and professional. Pump truck drivers seem to be professional and the technician that did the title 5 inspection and the follow-up upgrades was very professional and a good dude. I would give them five stars but then theyd have nothing to strive for. Would recommend!

    Had been a customer of New England Sanitation for many years prior to the merger with Bay State Sewage. Always prompt, professional and reasonably priced. Called to schedule a title5 inspection and anticipated to wait a few weeks but they were able to get it done in a matter of days. The 2 employees that came out did a great job and left almost no signs of ever being there, despite having to excavate 2 areas for inspection access. Very happy with the service over the years and recommend to anyone in the area needed any sewage services.

    Ive had regular maintenance and an emergency call through Bay State Sewage and, every time, they have been amazing!     I called for routine septic care of our home, first time using Bay State. The person who answered the phone was very kind and helpful. She noted the previous owners had also used them and could tell me when the last time they had service.On the day of service, I was kept up to date as to when they would arrive and I could event track them.     Years ago, we had a sewage backup in our apartment building that completely filled the basement. We thought the building would be condemned.Baystate cleaned it spotlessly and saved the day!We would have paid three times the amount that we were charged. I hadnt realized the last owners buried the cover under more than a foot of dirt, John dug it out and gave me a great deal on a riser so I can avoid all the shoveling and rinse the filter myself.     Our facility has been using Bay State Sewage for several years. They have provided fast, reliable service for all of our septic tanks, grease tanks, grease traps, as well as drain snaking and line jetting. We have a 23,000 gallon septic tank for our main building, plus 8 more 1,500 gallon tanks for our out buildings, as well as 3,000 gallon and a 1,500 gallon grease tanks. Bay State can pump all of those tanks and be off site by 10:30am; they are a large enough company to handle it.They are also very responsive for emergency services, and can problem solve tricky drains with cameras, snakes, line jetting etc.Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they and their trucks are neat and clean. its a pleasure doing business with Bay State Sewage, I highly recommend them.

I have never been disappointed with their service, whether it pertain to pumping, replacing a pump, fixing the board, or power jetting a sewer pipe.When you find a service person that works there is no need to search for someone else.     The serviceman who came was pleasant and efficient. My only negative about this particular visit was that I received an automated call saying we were the next stop. (This was a change from receiving a personalized call-which allowed interaction with someone.) What wasnt apparent was that-despite being the next stop- there was a huge delay (2+ hours) because the truck had to be emptied. This made being the next stop a moot point.

    Back in mid-February 2023, when we had a problem with our septic system causing a backup into the cellar, Bay State was able to send someone within an hour as well as get a specialist (Budge It Drains) to blast through the main line. It turned out that we needed to replace our 40-year-old septic tank, and we followed their recommendation for people that could do that with excellent results. Bay State also continued to pump out our old tank every two weeks to keep the level low enough until the changeover took place in early April. Highly recommended.
