My AC has not had a maintenance in about a year was what I thought about as I was driving my car when I saw an EDS AC van in front of me. I remembered their phone number on their van and called. Spoke to Jenny who was very pleasant and helped me with making an appointment for 8am on Christmas Eve. Miguel was the tech that visited and maintained my AC. He was very knowledgeable, professional and so well spoken. He advised me on getting a cleaning of my blower wheel in my air handler and a new contactor for my condenser. Miguel assured me that overall my AC was in good condition for a 9½ year old unit. I give EDS AC & Miguel 2 thumbs up.

We had a case where three other companies failed to get our AC back online. We asked EDS for a senior tech and Randy Walker Jr. came to the rescue. Randy was on time, took the time to learn the history of the problem, and got the air back on in less than an hour. One call to EDS and they put an end to a miserable 7 days without AC. Our unit is newer and more computerized than most, and a lot of companies just don’t have the experience working on systems like that. Randy was also professional, polite and obviously understood our situation. We appreciate the help and great service. We will call EDS and request Randy for our next AC service, to keep things running smoothly. Great job!

I had a great experience with EDS AC repair. My AC stopped working late on a Saturday night, so I called them early Sunday morning. They were very responsive and provided me with a thorough explanation of the pricing and all the available options, even though it was a Sunday morning.Austin, a gentleman from EDS, called me back and said he could come over shortly. He arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the issues with my AC. He was able to fix it within just 2 hours. Austin was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend EDS for AC repair, and if you have the chance, ask for Austin. He was not only professional and knowledgeable but also kind and considerate. Where do I even start!!! Our AC finally saw its last day and we called EDS for a new system and from the time we called til the New AC was finished they gave nothing less then Excellence!!! Adrian was our technician and he was so kind and generous with his time and his performance and quality of work was excellent … he arrived at our home at about 8:45 or 9 am and did not leave until a little after midnight and literally stayed until everything was perfect and we had issues with a few things going from and old system to a new system… they even opened the warehouse back up which was late at night to get what was needed and finish… wow… I was impressed with EDS, Adrian and his two other guys who helped… Thank you so much for your quality of work and the way EDS handled everything!!! I’m very happy!!!

Amazing experience with this company! Very professional and extremely fast quality work. Had an emergency on my old Lennox system where the unit failed catastrophically from my compressor coil quite literally exploding. The warranty had ended since my system was old therefore leaving me to need a new system and quick. Called EDS and within the hour Nicholas the technician was at my house to diagnose the issue. He was very upfront and professional and explained all of my options clearly and concisely. Repair cost was going to be over half the cost of a new system and after a bit of research I found that the price he was giving for repair/replacement of my current system was honest and true for many others who have had the same issue as me. After deciding on replacing the entire system as mine was quite old and agreeing on a very fair price, he made some phone calls and was able to secure an installation the very next morning. Install crew came and had the job done in about 6 hours and made sure to hang around and ensure everything was operating as it should be before leaving and answering any and all questions I had. From having my original system fail to having a completely new system installed less than 24 hours later, I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome.All around very pleased with my experience with this company and my technician Nicholas from start to finish. I don’t usually write reviews unless the service was exceptional and in this case, it exceeded all expectations!

It makes the process much more personal and feels safer. we’ve used a handful of other companies throughout the years here in South Florida, and EDS is by far the best we have found.

The team at EDS are fantastic.Whether I deal directly with Ed, a technician, his sales team, or the office staff, everyone is always a pleasure to work with.I work for a Construction company located in Palm Beach Gardens and both General Contractors have chosen EDS to provide HVAC and Plumbing services on many projects for several years now.After purchasing property to house our own incredible team, we also choose EDS to assist in renovations made prior to relocating to the new facility and we continue to use EDS for routine maintenance of our HVAC and Plumbing Systems.We recently scheduled our first non-routine service call because the back rooms in the office were not cooling as well as other areas within the office. After running some tests and checking both ac units, there were no concerning issues found…. For those experienced living in Florida during the peak summer months, you are likely familiar with this situation and know how difficult it is to resolve.In an effort to maintain a more evenly dispersed temperature throughout the entire office, we decided to move one of the thermostats. Both were mounted very close to one another causing the unit which controls the back of the office to register the set temperatures being maintained by the 2nd unit which provides air conditioning in the front of the building.Thanks to Austin, our knowledgeable technician, and as a result of listening and hearing our complaints, Austin provided a solution; rather than simply moving on to his next service call.As you can imagine this is not an easy task and I imagine the time needed to do this task was not worked into the service schedule for the day. Regardless, the team at EDS worked hard to accommodate our request the same day, rather than rescheduling this service to another day. I spoke with EDS Air at 10:45 am and told them we needed a new central air system. Donald Connelly met me at our location at around 11:40 to give us an estimate for a new system. The price was correct! Ian and Brian showed up at around 2:00 pm AND knocked the entire project out in JUST OVER 3.5 HOURS. They were gone by 5:30 pm. Excellent work. The new A/C system blows air at 53 F from the ducts. Thank You EDS !

UPDATED. Have been using them for routine maintenance as well as for repairs. One of the best things about them is that they always get out to your house super quickly, which is SO valuable when its the middle of the summer and your AC is broken. Admittedly, we did have a few spontaneous issues with a new unit immediately after one of their routine maintenance visits, but they really did right by us and kept sending techs out until the issue was completely resolved. Recently, we had an old AC unit break and when others tried to upsell us and tell us to buy a new AC, EDS told us the unit could be fixed. If you want a company that is reliable and honest/honorable, these are definitely your guys.

EVERY person I have dealt with in these 3 years have been super pleasant and this last experience did not disappoint either.I had some drainage issues with my unit and Raymond explained the problem & solution in a way that I could understand. He was also very funny and easy to talk. He cleared the drain and cleaned up the space quickly and efficiently. Feeling comfortable with the service man in my house is very important to me and feeling confident in the information he gives me is equally important. Raymond is a keeper!I also must give a shout out to Nancy in the office who is ALWAYS very helpful when I call for appointments. She is very patient, pleasant and goes out of her way ensure the best service is provided for me. I do feel like she has my best interest at heart and that means a lot.

Ed runs a top notch company. After getting a ridiculous quote from another company, I reached out to E.D.S. and they sent someone out the next day. Tony was fantastic and took the time to explain everything we might want to consider and what to not waste our time on. After reviewing our current setup and system, he came up with a robust solution, above and beyond what the other company could offer and for less money. Since they werent able to come out for a few days due to the workload they had, they had someone come out and charge up our old unit to keep us comfortable. We got a quote from EDS in the summer of 2018. At the time we decided to hold off on a new unit. Yesterday (2/3/19) our unit crashed with our three day old baby at home. We called EDS at 6pm and by 630pm had already heard from two representatives assuring us we would be moved to first on the list for Monday. The crew showed up at 830am and installed the new system same day. The experience could not have been better from start to finish. Tony, Eric and Anthony were absolute rock stars and rescued us from what could have been an AC nightmare. Please call the folks and ask specifically for them if you are ever in need. Their responsiveness, professionalism and customer service was truly one of a kind for the service industry in South Florida!

My husband and I were freaking out when our AC went down last night. NOT the time you want your AC to go down. We turned the AC off, thinking it might just need a rest, but when we turned it on this morning, still nothing. I called around to several companies and was amazed to find out that EDS air conditioning could have someone out here today.My hubby called and spoke with Nancy, who was very pleasant and told him that she could have someone out here between 1 and 3pm. Score! Craig called us back within the hour to tell us he would be here at 1pm. What a pleasant surprise to have him show up at 1:00! Weve been a customer of EDS for years and replaced our AC with a new top of the line smart TRANE which we absolutely love! The new TRANE is so quiet we hardly know that its running and the thermostat blows my old NEST thermostat away! Today was my six month service and Sergio my favorite technician was here! Our unit is 13 years old so thought for sure we would be told we needed to buy a new one, but nope! Don was really nice and did what was needed. We will use them from now on!

They make terrible situations more bearable (anyone that lives in Florida during the summer knows the horror of that A/C going out at an inappropriate time.) Starting with that first call and talking to Jenny to explain the problem to the excellent Techs they send out (Danny for our last call, he was awesome and even took time to chat with my 6 year old) they make my family and I feel like they truly care. I have to give a huge thank you to this company and to the tech Nicholas who came to my house to fix my air conditioner. First of all my ac broke and I know everyone knows how miserable it can be. Over the weekend I was without air-conditioning because I had to wait until Monday so they could get the parts through the warranty. It wasn’t the best weekend being that I didn’t have Ac and I’m stuck in the house due to COVID-19. So you can imagine I was really edgy. However they really went above and beyond to fix everything in a timely manner. I’m not going to get into all the specifics but there was a little bump in the road but they fixed everything 100% and what they did for me will keep me a customer for life! I will definitely refer them to all my friends and family. I also own an insurance agency specializing in home and auto insurance. Our service man Donald was very help ful even when he told me the bad news that the unit was toast. He got me up and running enough to make it to Monday when the unit was to be installed and said if I needed he would come back on Sunday to get us through the weekend. Thanks to his help and EDS service the weekend went well. On Monday they came to replace the unit Michael and Ezequel came and put in the new unit. They worked quickly and very neat so I had no clean up at all. The air works fantastic and now I feel better about the heat. Thanks EDS they made replacing my ac unit a breeze.

Last night my 22+ year old AC went out. I called around to several companies for quotes and had several estimators come out to the property. Most of the estimates were all in the same price range and with similar equipment.I ended up choosing E.D.S. mostly due to the great experience I had scheduling the appointment with Carolyn, (very friendly and someone came within the hour) and the professionalism and the expertise of Tony who came out to provide the quote.The kicker is that later in the day another guy from another company came out and diagnosed my problem as a bad capacitor, a pretty cheap part to replace, although what he wanted me to pay for 15 minutes work + the part was complete highway robbery. He then left with my capacitor when he realized I was not going pay him that exorbitant sum. I relayed this situation to E.D.S. and they are coming soon to install a temporary capacitor at no charge so I can have a cool night until installation tomorrow. I am still going with the new system because mine is very old and very dirty and I want clean air. I am very happy with my decision in choosing E.D.S.

Had an A/C problem after dinner time. Don called a short time after I called EDS with some phone troubleshooting, then at my door about 40 minutes later. Found a clogged drain line, cleared it, and worked on it further to keep it from happening again. Took it in stride we interrupted his evening and made sure we were all set before leaving. Very responsive and straight to the issue. In my case, by breaker switch was so old that it would not stay in on position but I could not have found that myself. Quick trip to home depot and I was able to replace the switch myself with some guidance from the EDS tech on the phone after he left. Very efficient.

Final Update: The service tech arrived as scheduled and fixed the mini-split under warranty. Currently the unit is at 100% and feel that the problem was solved. I appreciate the thorough job in finding and correcting the problem.have a mini-split AC for my garage and it was loosing freon and freezing up. $1500 to change a part and a 1 year warranty on the work. 1 year and 2 months its doing the same thing. So since I dont really use the system for cooling, Im stuck having to repair it again since its clear to me that it was not fixed the first time. Update, Blake contacted me regarding work on the split. I misunderstood the original CSR about the issue. My memory of the repair was less than perfect. However, we scheduled an appointment so that the unit can be looked at to see what the root cause is of the unit.

Installers are professional and all work has to have pictures for the boss. If he doesnt like something then he sends people back to tweak what he doesnt like. Thats awesome in itself. I had someone stop by today to tell me a fuse on my my condo roof needs upgrqding. I paid for the whole job. No mention once of sorry... its gonna be this much more. Heard that from other companies like Aztil, ECM and Sansone before. I am very happy. Competitive prices and they try to at least match other peoples advertised prices. They are better than the rest and techs actually care about their work. Even my condo hallway was vacuumed when they were finished. Great work guys!

He made a number of changes to unnecessary sensors, wiring issues and replaced the old thermostat with new. I feel confident that after his visit that my problem is finally corrected.
