    Their service was exceptional!! I initially had a different electrician come, but not only did that electrician say he couldn’t install the fan, but he was going to charge a ridiculous amount after we had already taken down the original fan ourselves and assembled the new one! Needless to say, I was a bit overwhelmed calling around for someone to do the job who I could trust and wouldn’t overcharge me. I’m so glad I found Washington Generators! Erik came out the next day. He was quick, friendly, and charged a good rate. If you’re not sure which company to call, you won’t be disappointed with these guys! I’m keeping their card handy for all future jobs.

    Washington Generators LLC was the first company to respond to an inquiry I had about generators. They sent out a technician to provide a free quote for the install and after answering all my questions we set up an appointment for installation. Highly recommended!I will add, I researched for hours upon hours and in to months. Im an electrical engineer and looked into all facets of the generator ( I went with a Kohler 26KW) and the background experience of the installer. I thankfully choose WA Generator and my install was in Nov 2023. They scheduled me promptly and took care of all permits, site prep and coordinating the install with my wishes for minimal disturbance to my home and blended appearance of installed hardware. Since then my generator has perform flawlessly for monthly tests and when we had experienced our power failure in June ( 10 hours) and November ( 6 days) it started and supplied whole house power in under 20 seconds. The generator ran without issue. Out of cautiousness I checked the oil every day and the Kohler 26KW generator did not seam to have used any oil after 6 days running. The annual maintenance was performed 2 weeks after this and it was thoroughly checked and serviced with great satisfaction.The phone staff, sales, installers ( the whole work crew) and the service tech deserve all top marks for knowledge and experience and the bonus - pleasant to work with at my home.All above was of paramount importance due to my family has medical needs for uninterrupted power.I wholeheartedly recommend WA Generator and Kohler 26KW to all who are in the market for the comfort and peace of mind to get it right.Thank you to your whole team

    My first time as customer, but highly recommended by neighbors. The service was done professionally and friendly. I highly recommend this company as compared to other providers of Home Generators as prior provider that I bought the unit from was slow in responding and often made you feel like you should appreciate that he is taking your money. Also not to mention Washington Generators is more cost effective by 25%.

    Last Oct, I had Washington Generator Company installed a-22KW-generator. I didnt write a review then because I wanted to wait for some time to see how the generator works and how the customer service of this company is. It turns out that the generator has worked fine and the customer service that Mr. Corey, the owner, demonstrates is exceptional. He deeply understands that customer satisfaction is the main core of his business success. He puts money in the passengers seat and customers satisfaction in the drivers seat in order to fulfill his commitment of making sure customers happy with their investment of buying his companys product or service because he knows that having a new generator installed costs at least $15K to customers (in my case, I paid about $20K). In addition, his technician, whose name is Jose, is excellent in workmanship and detailed oriented. Jose explained thoroughly how he executed his work plan to customer and walked customers every step of the way from start to finish. I greatly admire Corey to go to extra mile in contacting customers and Im appreciated his commitment and Joses workmanship. I strongly recommend Washington Generator Company to anyone who wants to have a new generator installed or any product or service that Washington Generator offers. You will be happy with their service in the end.

    Initially technicians were both good at first, inconsistent in middle, but very good at end of a persistent warranty repair issue. Thus it took months to be resolved, in part due to GENERAC parts supply as well as techs. So although maint. service cost too high, they did very good work.

    I have outstanding experience with my new 48 kW generator installation, which was installed by three experts from Washington Generators: Kurt, Codey & Jose. The project manager (Kurt) was responsible for the rather complicated installation of the 2nd generator. He was an excellent communicator and kept me informed of all aspects of the installation. The project took a bit more than the projected 3 days and the 4th day was almost a week later, but luckily completed just 2 days before an unplanned 4 hour power outage.. We are continuing our interactions with project planner Corey Gilgan, to bring in a new gas line. In summary: highly recommend the business and the installation team without reservation!

    Got my generator from Costco installed through them. Very professional, on time, they explained all the steps, got all permits, worked on scheduled days, and worked on the Costco rebates and manufacturer warranty paper work etc. I also got maintenance plans for 3 years, they just did the first yearly maintenance too.     Washington Generator LLC is a great company with which to have dealings. They are a full service operation. Whether the generator purchase is directly through them, or they are called to install a generator purchased at Costco, they take pride and they work with the homeowner to make the entire process professional and well done. The team that installed the generator and with all the electrical and natural gas requirements were outstanding. They knew exactly what to do and how to do it with care and with a polished and finalized look that was amazing. I would hire them any time and without hesitation. Admittedly, initially, the cost seemed to be a little higher, but they took care of everything. No headaches with permits and scheduling. All done when needed and without unnecessary extra work or phone calling or irritation. The crew that worked here was wonderful, the telephone support superb, even the supervisor who checked things out made sure that our every concern was met and dealt with. He made a special trip himself to pick up some equipment that he thought would aid the crew so they could just continue their work. Absolutely unheard of quality and pride in their work and craftsmanship not seen in many years. They are great!

    Completed installation of a Generac 16KW Generator yesterday in Redmond, WA and can honestly advise that Washington Generators is one of the most professional companies I have had the pleasure to work with in recent years with many companies and contractors.From the very start of discussions with Eric who help guide us with which type of system to purchase, to Jeremy and Eric who performed initial installation of the generator unit and gas line hook up, to finally Zane who completed installation yesterday by installing all of the electrical and conducting a very thorough demonstration of how the unit operates during a power failure,it has been a remarkable experience.     My lead technician Tim Sayama was excellent as was his team (Jon & Austin). My install was a bit more complicated than anticipated but they handled it professionally and were excellent communicators along the whole process.I had the Generac 24kW Guardian/200 amp installed 5 weeks ago and they are currently helping out with an issue. I strongly recommend that customers connect their generator via the Generac MobileLink app before the installers leave. I tried to do so myself and was unsuccessful. You have 90 days to connect in order for Generac to honor the extended warranty (I bought a 3 yr service contract from Washington Generators as well).Washington Generators was very quick to respond (same day) and I am confident they will troubleshoot and fix the issue.Most importantly - product works. Power has gone out twice since the install just over a month ago and it simply works.Thank you,Lisa

    They installed a backup generator for us, and everything went smoothly. Before installation, they called to set up an consultation appointment. During the consultation, they provided options for us to install a smaller generator for selected switches and appliances or a larger generator for the entire house. Given where we wanted it installed, we also required the neighbor’s permission since it was within 5 ft of their property and have it notarized and recorded with the city. They provided us the information and links necessary for me to get this completed before installation and were responsive when I had questions.The day of installation was a full day affair, but they took care of everything with little interruption to us except for the hour they needed to have the power off to switch everything over to the generator. All permitting and inspections were taken care of by them with the City, and received a Costco rebate as well.My only complaint is that the wait time for an consultation and then additionally for the generator to be installed was several months. I requested a consultation in November. The consultation didn’t happen until January, and then the actual installation didn’t occur until end of March. My understanding is that they had a lot of demand and generators were in low supply.We are happy and satisfied with the service, just wish it could have all happened sooner, but it sounds like it was out of their control.

The installation crew knows their stuff, and does a great job making sure the owner is fully informed along the way, including a comprehensive review of he operation of the new Generac. I have other questions along the way and they were happy to answer them. I cant rate this transaction high enough, but suffice to say, in a time when quality is the exception, working with Washington Electric was a pleasure.

    We wanted to get a generator that would come one automatically when our power went out. We were going to get quotes from a few companies but once we made contact with WA Generators we knew they were the right option. From the very beginning everyone we spoke to via telephone or emails were knowledgable, professional, friendly, and prompt. The man who came out initially to do the estimate, Corey, was very nice and explained the details of what would be done. Mitch and Tim were the technicians who did the actual installation and upgraded our panel. We could not have asked for better young men to be in our house for the length of time it took to install, replace, and set up the generator.     WA Generators installed a whole house generator at my home. All phases of the installation were excellent, from the estimate, to the office staff, to the installation. Special shout out to our installers Mitch and Mike, who did a phenomenal job, were professional, knowledgeable, polite and a pleasure to work with. Office staff was also very flexible and accommodating when PSE had not completed their prep-work and adjusted the schedule with no problem.     Installed whole house generator and continue to perform annual maintenance under a multiyear contract. All service and installation electricians have been excellent. The workmanship was great and the generator has worked precisely as intended on the few times needed over the past few years. The service plan is expensive but they arrive on time and get the service done quickly and always check in as they leave to discuss what they did and what they found. The generator did have a electronic problem several years ago related to a part failure that Generac apparently had issues with nationwide. While I had been told that as a contract customer I had priority for repairs that repair call took a bit longer than I expected, if I recall a couple of weeks, though it was eventually remedied without cost.

    Initially, I was able to get lots of information on the phone and thru emails from Eric. He was very helpful. Kurt came out today and installed three pendant lights over my kitchen counter. He was very professional and did a great job. He took time to explain how things worked and answered my questions about other jobs I plan to have Washington Electric do for me in the very near future. He cleaned up the counters and floor and left everything in excellent condition. I would definitely use this company again. I am planning on having them install can lights in my very dark great room in the next few weeks. I recommend this company without reservation.

    Washington Electric installed a Standby Generator on June 2020 at my house.As a mechanical Engineer with years of experience in design and construction of major engineering projects I rate this company as top notch. The manner in which they presented the scope of work and the estimate is very professional and detailed compared to other outfits that I asked an estimate for.The cost estimate format Washington Electric presented me ( using photos & Excel spreadsheet) allowed me to make an engineering judgement on what items I need incorporated to the project to give me more bang for my buck.The installation crew very knowledgeable on what they are doing, friendly and finished the job on time as promised. Also the crew left the work area clean of debris.Icing on the cake here is that the quality of the completed work (gas piping & electrical wiring) are all excellent.I want to mention too that Kathryn at the front office and Kurt a technician in the work crew are great and very responsive.

    Installing a backup generator is major surgery, so I looked far and wide for a qualified contractor for this job. In the end, they were right next door.How impressive they are showed right from the visit of their salesman. He did not try to sell me bells and whistles and spent his time understanding my needs and looking at the feasibility of the project within a budget. He is very competent and prepared and knows the subject inside out.Once we decided to go for it, it was really easy to get things scheduled - remarkably easy, considering that working around my schedule is a nightmare.The installers were simply amazing. Besides the basics, showing up perfectly on time (five minutes early, to be precise) and leaving an immaculate place when they left, they did not stop working for a minute and were perfectly trained and competent. The city inspectors were impressed themselves.Overall, it was a great call to be a customer of Washington Electric.

    WA Generators provided excellent customer service, installation and follow up. I had three bids and choose WA Generators. They were accurate with recommendation for the maximum size generator permitted for my entire house (without upgrading my current gas line). The techs were polite and did an excellent job installing gas line and converting to a new circuit breaker box. They completed installation in one day. They had gas inspector and electrical inspection completed prior to Thanksgiving (and returned to connect generator to gas line). Everything was done in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend using Washington Electric.

    Washington Generators sold me a Generac 10 kw partial home outdoor automatic generator, transfer switch, and took care of all aspects of installation.They came in WAY under price compared to another competitor, and offered financing through a big financing company called Synchrony.Office personnel and sales rep was very helpful and responsive/friendly. Estimate was very detailed and easy to understand.Day of installation the guys were here 10 minutes early (which for me is on time), and in freezing temps, heavy rain which then turned to snow, with gutters overflowing from rain and snowmelt off the roof (I was able to fix that, but they never complained), they troopered on and got everything installed nice and neat, and most importantly, operating like a kitten. Their lead Tim knew his stuff, and made sure to spend a little extra time sorting out both the main circuit breaker panel, and new Generac panel with accurate labeling and clean wire placement. The guys were friendly, respectful of my house, and communicated very well.I highly recommend Washington Generators and hope my Generac lasts for many years. I cannot honestly speak to the quality of the unit itself (other than many good reviews online), since it’s only just been installed and we haven’t needed it’s services yet during a power outage. But it was tested thoroughly, and works as advertised per tests.

    Washington Generators helped me install whole house stand-by generator and added work of getting an electric car charging outlet in my garage. Its a sizable work given the location of the electrical panel. Everyone came to my house were polite, professional, and highly capable.     The purchase and installation of our generator was the easiest process we have signed up for. The crew was fantastic, even the guys crawling around in the attic and under the house with the new gas line were happy, energetic and skillful. The generator works like a charm. We had our first annual maintenance scheduled and performed. The young man was again very knowledgeable. Even when he was not sure how to set the WIFI, so the generator could talk to my phone, he stayed with it until he figured it our.Great company, great people.

When finished he gave the equipment a good wipe down and explained what was done. I like the comfort an annual maintenance gives us.     Washington Generator installed a whole house generator for us via the Costco program. The whole process was handled well and very professionally. The installation is great and even the electrical inspector noted that he never finds issues with Washington Generator jobs.They took all the extra precautions for COVID during the install and followed through to finish the installation over two days as there was a lot of word to do with this install. They made sure before they left that everything was working properly and that I knew how to operate and manage the system should I need to.Would recommend them to anyone looking to have a system installed

    We have just had a new 11KW Generac generator installed by Washington Electric and while we do not normally write reviews our experience was so outstanding we felt compelled to acknowledge their wonderful service. They were not the only bid we received but they were the only company that was willing and able to come up with a reasonable and effective plan for a complicated install. You might assume that that they would have been the most expensive estimate we received however, they were the most reasonable of our three bids. They arrived on time as scheduled, acted professionally and completed the install in the time promised. We have used contractors before, but have never before had such a positive experience. In conclusion I would recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a company that does what they say they will, does it in a timely manner and with a high level of integrity.

    Overall a positive experience and would recommend this company to others. We obtained multiple quotes from top rated Generac dealers and their prices were competitive. Scheduling was a bit long at 6 weeks, but understandable with peak Winter season. Both techs arrived near the scheduled 7:30 AM start time, were courteous, and cleaned up the areas at the job site.The install ended up taking 2 full days, which was a disappointment, as it required me to work from home both days. Not all desired circuits could be moved to the ATS, due to some circuits sharing wiring – it would have been beneficial if these roadblocks were identified during the quote/spec process instead of day of install.

    Washington electric completed installation of my generator today. Working with Washington electric has probably been one of the best service experiences we’ve had. I had a couple of bids. Eric did a great job explaining needs and options and helped with the gas company as well. They came in with a better price option so being competitive and informative gets the business. Also timely in scheduling. I appreciate that they offered to move me up in the scehedule when a change in their schedule came up. The installation team was top-notch Kurt and Zane and crew probably made record time with installation today.     SELECTIONHaving had mixed results with contractors, we were very careful in selecting a generator dealer. We found 15 local dealers from the Kohler website which we evaluated for years in business, number of employees, website quality, Yelp reviews, Better Business ratings, and Washington State information. This narrowed the list down to three which we asked to visit our site and provide an estimate. Of these one was rejected since they only did the electrical work leaving us find others to do the propane plumbing, plus they never provided a quote. The other two gave a similar favorable impression. Where Washington Electric stood out was the quote was provided during the first visit by Eric (the owner) and the price was very reasonable.INSTALLATIONEric and Kurt arrived promptly and had most of the work done the first day. They finished up the second day and easily passed the inspections. They had everything working before they left. The installation quality was very impressive.PROBLEM RESOLUTIONThree months later, a problem occurred where the generator wouldnt start. Eric and Kurt determined that the generator controller was the cause. A replacement was ordered from Kohler and installed solving the problem.

    I won 2 hours of work from Washington Electric at a charity auction and they didnt disappoint. Our technician didnt waste anytime getting started and worked efficiently to install a ceiling fan box in our master bedroom, fixed some outlets that only worked with a light switch and installed a box over some exposed wiring on a light pole in the backyard. The work he did was superb, and very clean in appearance. I will be calling them again for other jobs we have planned in the future.     We contracted with Washington Electric for installation of a standby generator because some friends recommended them. A crew led by Kurt showed up promptly at the appointed time and they immediately went about their business. They obviously had done this kind of job a number of times before and it showed in their ability to get the job done efficiently in one day. They were very knowledgeable, great to work with and cleaned up when the work was done. Washington Electric took care of all the details to get the job done, including the necessary building permits. Final City inspections were conducted easily and quickly the next day. The electrical inspector said that Washington Electric is the best on these kind of generator jobs and he rarely finds problems with their work.

    We contacted Washington Electric through a Big Deal of the Day through Angies List. Eric at Washington Electric was very responsive through Angies List message system and other emails. We exchanged a rough description of the job, and he asked for photos, which we uploaded on Angies List. The job was scheduled for one week later. Two electricians were here - they even called from the freeway saying that traffic was bad.They assessed the job, and offered to start right away, saying they would finish in 6 hours. However, they finished in ahead of time. In addition to installing the new circuit panel and did extensive grounding. They placed two 8 grounding rods outside the garage wall.The next day a City of Seattle electrical inspector was here, reviewed their work and quickly passed it with no reservations. We are very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family, or to use them again.We paid $395 for the Angies List deal, knowing our job would require more work and additional cost. Washington Electric gave us a $500 credit toward the overall price.

    I recently hired Washington Electric to improve the lighting on the outside of my house for security purposes. They installed 3 can lights and 2 flood lights on the North and South end of my home. They did a great job. So much so that I had them install two power outlets on each side of my house and dig a trench and lay power along my property line for future outdoor lighting needs. They did a great job and even troubleshooted some problems I had with my landscape lighting.They always responded to my emails fast and returned my calls generally the same hour. Good local electrician in our opinion.

    I moved from my former company for my yearly generator maintenance because they doubled their price. Washington Electric only charged 60% of what my former company wanted. The technician showed up on time and was quite familiar with my generator type. Previous experience with this generator (where the generator representative came out to discuss my issues) revealed that the gap on the spark plug should be 0.022” and not 0.025” like their maintenance procedure says and like the pre-gapped plug in the kit comes. I discussed this with the technician, and he was glad to go with the 0.022” gap, so he regapped the plug in the kit. He gave me feedback on the state of the generator (looked great!), cleaned up the area, and was off within 45 minutes. Great service at a great price. I highly recommend this company.

    Reliable and Within Budget. Eric showed up on time for his estimate appointment. His van with his company logo on it was clean. I received the estimate to add an additional outlet in the guest bathroom and the master bathroom a few days later. I found him very easy to work with.We scheduled the appointment. He came and did the work on time and within the estimate he had prepared. He came prepared with all the GFIs we had discussed. I noted that the holes he had to make for the new outlets were well inside the boundaries for the new switch plates or covers. The outlets and covers he brought matched both the color and the style of the others in the bathrooms. I was afraid that a gap might show or the colors would not match. He vacuumed up all the debris that he created. If I hadnt heard the vacuum, I wouldnt have known he was there.While up in the attic to run some wiring, he noted to me that I should get more insulation (and a possible tax credit). He said that it would be easy to rent a blower and loose fill insulation. That was an added bonus.He did mention that I might want to considered getting a whole house surge protector if I had a large number of delicate electronic items.I would use him again.

    WA Elec showed up at 7:20 a.m. with 3 trucks and 4 or 5 technical people, expedited moving the heavy parts into place, stockpiled the electrical and natural gas piping supplies and worked for 10+ hours straight to complete the installation. They didnt even take a break so we provided hot food and drinks for them. They also communicated exceptionally well with us whenever the electricity or gas had to be temporarily shut off during the installation process. At the end of the installation, they cleaned up the area where the gas piping and generator were installed, vacuumed the garage floor where they connected the generator to my house electrical system and provided a detailed demonstration of how the system works. 101% positive experience. No one could ask for a better installation experience than what was provided by this crew.

    I am happy to write a review for Washington Electric for their recent generator installation at my residence. I was prepared to buy a much bigger generator and was convinced by the salesman that I didnt need one that large after looking at his calculations. Installation is absolutely perfect. I am a very detail type person and I cant find anything they did that wasnt of the highest caliber. They take no shortcuts, all the proper permits, inspections, gas piping run perfectly level and painted after install. All electrical conduit routes well thought out and installed level . Complete operation testing afterwards, familiarization with me and follow up by the home office for future service work . Just completed the first year of being installed, worked perfectly on several occasions. Was sent a text and email everytime it turned on for weekly maintenance run, turned off or a power outage. A good friend just had them complete a much larger installation of a 20+ KW generator with several additional features. He is absolutely amazed at their attention to detail and speed at which they complete the job. Purchased through Wa. Elec. simply from my recommendation. They probably do more installations of Generac generators then all the other dealers / installers combined. When deciding on a generator, talking to them is an absolute must.Terry

    Everything about this Washington Electric installation exceeded our expectations, from the very comprehensive initial on-site evaluation by Eric to the super high quality of the of the installation by Kurt, Jeremy, and Mitch. They replaced our 15-year-old Generac emergency standby generator, which also required the complete replacement of our main electric service panel. They did this on February 8th, the day of a huge snowstorm here in Seattle, but you would never have known it from their very positive attitude and the attention to detail they took over 11 hours to ensure everything was completed with no shortcuts. We’ve never seen an electrical crew so fastidious about cleaning everything up, to include replacing some dry wall they had to remove. Even the L&I inspector commented that this was a step above and beyond. I’m not an electrician, but the insides of the electrical service panel have never looked this organized… quite a safety improvement over the rat’s nest of wiring from 15 years of electrical mods that Kurt replaced. And Jeremy even dug out our driveway so we could get our car back in the garage before they left. Just 48 hours later, we lost power for a day. It was so wonderful starting the generator up and shutting it down from inside the house, using a semi-automatic cut-off switch system recommended by Eric. Plus, this 16 kW Generac purrs like a kitten compared to our old 12 kW Generac. We are extremely happy with both Generac and Washington Electric… we will highly recommend them to our friends!

I began using them because theyre one of the few electricians in our area who actually knows what to do with my Generac whole-house natural gas generator AND theyre recognized by Generac as PowerPro Elite service providers. So I started there but then Ive also begun using them for other electrical projects around my house through Angies List Big Deals and just because...Kurt is GREAT! Hes the individual weve most worked with but others have also been here (Tyler, for instance) and theyre without exception professional, willing to answer any question, explain anything theyre doing -- and they do it cheerfully. They dont waste time, they take care with my home and they clean up after themselves both indoors and outdoors.Theyve replaced transfer switch parts, installed new can lights, a new outdoor GFCI outlet on the new deck were having built, moved our post light, swapped out switches -- all for less than others have quoted and theyve done it in a quality way.I highly recommend you check out Washington Electric -- if you have a generator, dont forget to ask them about yearly maintenance... its important!!

    Found Washington Electric through Angies list and contacted them to do an electrical walk through of our home. We had just moved back into it after having rented it out for several years and there were some issues with a couple of the outlets. Eric came out, tested all the outlets, light switches, and inspected the electrical box. He talked me through some of the repairs that he suggested and offered a number of options of how I might approach some of them (for example, one of the outlets is dead and there are a variety of ways to approach fixing it, all of which have various costs and implications associated with them. We discussed options and Ive hired him to come back out and make the repairs.This is the second time Ive worked with Washington Electric, and I will continue to use their services. Eric knows his stuff and is very customer-centric, which is a great combination.
