HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! David and his helper just did a home service line repair and range hookup. Both were leaking; Centerpoint did an inspection and shut off the gas. The Katy Plumbing team were prompt, polite, and professional from the initial receptionist scheduling the next day service to their on-site service technicians. They worked with me on the price, and did a proper job, no shortcuts! This is a company I would definitely use again for any of my plumbing needs.

Today I had an emergency with a broken water pipe connected to my outdoor faucet, including water leaking inside of one the room. I called up Katy Plumbing Co., sent Mr. Greg Chavez and his assistant and he resolved the problem in the time needed: highly professional, friendly, explained to me with concise and precise terms. Made a clean job, including tomorrow mid morning to fix the wall hole. Highly recommended!

Victor was awesome - emergency after-hours leak in the wall from the AC condensation drain overflowing due to a poor connection into a clogged drainage line for my guest bathroom sinks. Victor and his assistant were thorough, kind, and quick to assess and repair. He sent detailed reports with electronic receipts to my email to be able to relay to my contractor to fix the wall damage after. Scheduling for their emergency after hours service was quick and easy over the phone and the scheduler had great customer service. Highly recommend, & very professional!

I called Katy Plumbing Co as it was referred to me by a friend. This would be my first experience with them. I explained my situation and they scheduled-sent someone out the very next day.The plumber (Victor) showed up on time and was professionally dressed. I explained my situation, which was complex. Essentially, I needed a gas pipe for a new oven relocated about 5 inches and lowered about 3 inches. The gas pipe is located on the 2nd floor, in 3 story townhouse. So it very difficult to access. The plumber explained what he needed to do, which involved cutting the floor open so he could access the pipes; I understood and agreed. He was very knowledgeable and quickly developed a game plan. We measured the spacing where the oven went, and measured the oven dimensions to ensure a proper fit and pipe relocation.His workmanship was awesome!! The following day, after a visit from an electrician, for some re-wiring, the new oven was installed. No gas leaks, everything works great and fits perfectly.Thank you Katy Plumbing Co and Victor, for the fantastic work. When it’s August in Houston and your air conditioning stops working you’re in trouble…and many times you call companies who can’t get to you for days, especially when your unit breaks on a weekend as ours had. Thank goodness, good fortune smiled upon me because only about a week or so before the unit failed, I had signed up for the annual service agreement with Katy Plumbing Company Heating and Air. Knowing I had this, I called and spoke to a lady named Linda. She was so very understanding and helpful—not the typical “sorry you’re in a bad place sir but we do not have a technician available for 3-4 days”….. No, Linda was empathetic and she had one of their top A/C technicians, Mr. Roberto Montelongo at my home as quickly as possible. Roberto was very polite and very kind. He diagnosed the problem and it turns out it was a short in my compressor. My unit was under warranty, so he took the time to find the right replacement compressor and then even drove to the distributor shop to pick it up himself on Saturday Morning before they closed at Noon . He got my compressor and brought it back to my house. He explained to me that he had called his supervisor to get permission to install it right then because they normally did not do installations like this until Monday. Knowing I had a whole house full of people he got permission to do what was best for my family and I so appreciate that!!!! Roberto explained to me that he used to install whole units for many years before he became a service technician so installing my new compressor was something he was very experienced at doing. He did a great job getting the system working again, all within a couple of hours. He took the time to explain to me exactly what he was doing during each step—I wanted to see what Roberto was doing out of curiosity as to how they replace a compressor. Because of the team work at Katy Plumbing Company Heating and Air between Linda and Roberto and Roberto’s Supervisor (whoever that may be) I had a working system again as quickly as was possible. If you don’t have a service agreement with Katy Plumbing Co. Heating and Air you should get one. It could really save you….just like mine did within only about a week or so of purchasing it. The company also offers an annual fee plan, which provides access to a technician anytime in case of an emergency—like having 911 for plumbing!

Pedro T did a fine job for me repairing my backflow that was damaged in the last freeze - the pipe was cracked (metal) and the whole thing needed replacing. He was thorough with explanation and was able to do work right there on the spot. I asked him to check auto-fill for pool as well and he said it was good giving me explanation on how it works all without additional charge. He didnt try to push or offer anything additional that I didnt need. That meant a lot for their reputation in my eyes.

Last Sunday night, I had a big plumbing problem that could not wait until Monday. A neighbor told me to call Katy Plumbing because they had Nighttime Emergency Service. Within 45 minutes of my calling Katy Plumbing, their Emergency Plumber, Troy Divin, was ringing my doorbell. Troy is a 3rd generation Plumber. He is very professional and knowledgeable with good manners. Not once did he complain. Troy did an amazing job, and hes a great person, too. It had been raining, and it was pitch black dark so he was walking through patches of mud in the backyard with two curious dogs following him. Not once did he complain about the dogs. Troy uses top of the line equipment. He used a sonar type gadget to find an outside pipe that was causing our problem. He found it by walking through the house with the sonar beeping over the pipes which led to the pipe outside. Without that equipment, the pipe couldnt be found because someone had covered that pipe. The pipe had been invaded with roots from a bush. Troy removed the pipe and replaced it with a new one. Price was reasonable for a Sunday night. Troy was great!!

In an emergency, Katy Plumbing Company came through. The existing water softener system had a broken pipe along with other issues. Katy Plumbing Company sent out Ryan and he diagnosed the issue and gave me my options. I ended up having them install a new system. Ryan was very helpful and coordinated with an electrician and installed my new system. Wendy was helpful in organizing the financing options. In a matter of days I was able to move on with a new system and I look forward to having maintenance on this system as the company who installed amd maintained my old system basically disappeared. I have an A/C that has been dripping water for the past 10 years because of a line blockage. Four A/C companies and three plumbers had charged to fix the problem but it was never fixed. Luke H. from Katy Plumbing came and cleared the blockage. The dripping stopped. He had good tools to diagnose the problem. He had a camera that went down in the pipes which showed the blockage on a colored screen. I watched the process as the clog was dislodged and cleaned out; and water flowed down to the drain freely. Luke even dropped some cleaning tablets in all my other A/C drain lines to prevent bacteria growth. I was very impressed and 100% satisfied with their service; and their price was good too. I recommend this company to anyone who has clog issues with A/Cs or plumbing. They are the best plumber Ive ever used.A family owned business with integrity and qualified technicians. Luke H. was on time, courteous and professional.

Zee and Gavin came out a few hours after my call. They were great and quickly found my leak in the wall, got in there and had it fixed within minutes. They answered all my questions honestly (I have a pretty good amount of knowledge myself) and even gave me recommendations on various contractors to do the drywall repair and potential remodeling. It is a Saturday so there was an after hours fee to just show up and additional charges for the service. It was very expensive for the amount of time but, I paid for their knowledge, expertise, equipment, and urgency so I’m fine with it. Overall great experience and would recommend.

Luke and his partner were fantastic. They were actually ahead of scheduled time but I was running late and they waited for me. I can’t be more appreciative of them waiting the extra 10 minutes. Once inside they got to work immediately they had the drain cleared in 10 minutes it was rather amazing. They even suggested some tactics to keep the lines clean and some monthly maintenance to do for that. All in all great job.

Angel Hernandez put in a whole house water softener and water filter and a back flow prevention device (for sewer backup prevention) with his crew and they did a very professional job. Angel answered every question I had to my satisfaction. His crew worked tirelessly and did an excellent job. Angel installed all this in a timely manner and I will be using him to install a bathtub next. I have used The Katy Plumbing Company for the last 13 years and they have always sent out a qualified and knowledgeable crew to do the job. Ryan came to repair a leaking pipe and, while he was here, I had him do my annual whole house check that comes with their membership. He explained that this probably happened when I had my roof replaced almost 2 years ago (they likely accidentally hit it out of place). I was very impressed with Katy plumbing. The office staff were friendly and helpful. Ryan an excellent technician with years of experience came out on a hot holiday weekend to help diagnose what was wrong with our air conditioning unit. He got us a temporary fix to help cool off the house within 24 hours while Katy plumbing worked on ordering our parts under warranty. They figured all the warranty issues for us and within a week had our parts and got our system fully running. They have convenient payment options and do not ask for money until repairs are completed. Ryan the technician explained what was wrong so we could easily understand and showed us the issues. I am very happy with our service from Katy Plumbing. The photo below shows the coil that needed replaced.

Miguel Garcia with Katy Plumbing just completed a service call. I call Katy Plumbing about 11AM because I needed the water shutoff behind my refrigerator repaired so Lowes could install my new refrigerator. Mr Garcia was able to come to my house right away. He found my pipe at the shutoff valve was also corroded and needed replacing. He completed the work before 1PM, was very professional and the price was very reasonable.

Why do emergencies always happen on a Friday before a long weekend?? I don’t know but, thank God Peter was available to come and fix our leak. The main line was leaking and the only thing I could do was shut off water to my house. What were we going to do without water for hours or days? Thankfully we didn’t have to find out, as Peter showed up within a couple hours late on a Friday evening. Working into the dark of night he finally found the break and replaced the broken pipe. Great service from a great plumber. Thank you so much for saving our Labor Day weekend!!
