    Thanks to Theo and West Houston Electric for replacing my entire panel, meter base, installing copper grounding, a whole-home surge protector, and an interlock kit for my generator!     Theo Nikolla with West Houston Electric is an excellent Electrician! We called Theo to get an estimate for a EV car charger. While inspecting our system Theo identified severe deficiencies in our main panel and electrical system that other contractors missed (that were significant safety hazards). We are grateful to get these problems identified and addressed. Theo is highly competent, honest and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend him!

    I am so thrilled with the work of Drew, Rolondo (sp?), and Kyle. They were absolutely meticulous! I’m talking design-level meticulous. The care with which they did everything is greatly appreciated. From the first meeting with Drew and how he outlined everything that would happen - offering options - I was at ease. I must add that we had a quote that was 1/3 of yours but the level of detail addressed made me more at ease with West Houston Electric. I do believe we got what we paid for. We are quite pleased.     The experience I had with Joseph at West Houston Electric was the best electrician experience I have had to date. He was honest, thorough, and very knowledgeable. He walked me through everything that we were contemplating doing and provided detailed estimates. He even advised me on some upcoming generator work that we are contemplating. The best part was - he had everything in the truck he needed to complete all of the work and did it right then and there (and there were definitely some special parts that my job required)! No more having to schedule a second appointment for the work to actually be completed.Working with West Houston Electric was a breeze - from the scheduling, to the communication leading up to the appointment, all the way through the job concluding.     We had somewhat of an urgent situation. From the very first contact, the lady who answered my phone call was professional, courteous and understanding. She was able to get someone over to our house within a couple of hours. The guy who came to fix our issue was also very professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. He did a thorough job and was very efficient. I’m pleased with our experience with the company and I’d contact them again in the future for any issues. I’d highly recommend them.

Im happy to work with him again- he also fixed a few other items he actually recommended a few years ago and I also signed up for the annual service plan.

    I called W HOUSTON ELECTRIC and asked for a technician at 2 pm. Rolando was at the door at 3:15pm. He checked out the problem. He found a bad burnt out socket in the kitchen. He isolated it. He checked the panel in the garage. He made sure all was good and safe. Rolando will be my go-to Electrician for all my future electrical needs. By the way, all other outfits I checked with, asked for a day notice and one offered to come on the 26th of Nov. I’ll never call them again.

Their reviews were impressive, we were hopeful for quick service as our breaker switch kept tripping leaving us with no power in areas of our home. West Houston was able to get a service person out that day. Landen came out (we could track his arrival via a link sent by text) and he diagnosed the problem and conducted a safety check to make sure that there wasnt a deeper problem within our electrical system in our home. He explained every step, the cost, gave options and then we decided on what was best for our needs, very personalized service. I had confidence in Landens knowledge, skill and suggestions, whether we decided to go forward with the suggestions or not. We feel very good about our choice to use WHE and will use them in the future!

    Great experience with JD and Caleb.None of my bathroom outlets worked after Hurricane Beryl. There was a 3 week wait as you can imagine all of the emergencies from the Hurricane. I tried to figure the problem out on my own without any luck, spent well over 4 hours. I gave up. I was happy for the appointment day.There was a text notification that they were on the way there 10 minutes out.I explained my problem and what I had tried to do already. They were very professional, respectable, and wore shoe covers indoors. We did a walk around to identify the affected areas. They were upfront about what the diagnostics package covered. They got to work with their diagnostics, found the main problem, another problem, and fixed them. Included a safety inspection.I would choose West Houston Electric again.

    West Houston Electric responded to an outage involving my homes breaker box the NEXT DAY! The team of JD and Aaron were courteous, knowledgeable and they energetically got right down to business (working at times in the rain) in order to resolve my problem. They had to move heavy furniture, remove all covers from plugs and switches in the affected area of my home, even checked the attic to quickly and capably fix my problems and ensure more of them werent at hand. Key: careful explanations were provided each step of the way. Their patience with consumer ignorance in this area was so refreshing and virtually unheard of! I appreciated it enormously.I found the companys pricing to be very fair, their state of the art technology is evident from the moment of scheduling, and the work is guaranteed.I dont normally give reviews but these people really impressed me and treated me so well that I feel compelled to share the good word about their organization. After inspecting, I was surprised they could do everything that very afternoon—which was a great help to my scheduling. After a few hours, the job was done and off they went.     I contacted 2 companies to get a quote on adding a GCFI near a commode. I ended up going with West Houston Electric because of their tech Neomar Bricen. Both companies gave me a quote, but Neomar went an extra step to ask me if knew the amperage draw of the new bidet I am installing. We ended up researching the info from Toto website, it only gave the max wattage draw so he back calculated the amperage. The reason was the circuit was only rated form15A so he made sure it can support the additional draw.This extra step & explaining adding a higher rate breaker was not advisable. West Houston Electric was 2xs more but the service justified the cost.

    Update: 08/01/24, I had a problem with one of my GFCI outlets not resetting after testing. I called West Houston Electric and they sent J.D. Smith out the same morning. J.D. did an excellent job of replacing the defective outlet which is now under warranty for a full year.Original Review:I contacted West Houston Electric the day after another electrician failed to show up as scheduled to finish a job installing replacement GFCI outlets. Fiber optic installers cut my power line A and burned out my outlets. Although the contractors replaced the underground power line, I was left without power in GFCI outlets.Theo Nikolla showed up right at the beginning of the scheduled service window. I was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He showed me the burnt cables and other issues and did an excellent job of replacing the outlets. He also replaced an older whole house surge protector with a newer and stronger model as well as installing a copper grounding rod.My house is 24 years old and he pointed out several areas where upgrades would improve safety. I agreed with those recommendations and plan to have him back next week to implement them.I am very pleased with my first experience with West Houston Electric. As an aside, my three dogs also enjoyed meeting Theo. He is very friendly and customer oriented.

    West Houston Electric called me immediately after I booked online and set up my appointment. They were clear and courteous. They reminded me of the appointment through text communication and let me track Christian to my home. He was on time and very polite and friendly. He was clear and direct about the repairs needed and not pushy at all. He addressed our issues honestly and kindly. I would highly recommend West Houston and Christian, and would definitely use them again.

    Came out the same day I called about my A/C circuits not working and diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly, and didn’t charge me since the breaker box was under warranty (they recently installed it), even though the issue was caused by something I did in error.     No regrets from the moment I first called to ask for help with regard to my electrical issues, Cathy reassuringly made me feel listened to. Then she sent over Christian and Landen to diagnose the problem further. It was such a pleasant surprise to see them at my door on time. They even brought their own door mat and plastic coverings for their shoes as a sign of respect for their customers before entering the house. They greeted me cordially and wasted no time to find out what was the matter.They sure did come well prepared with their expertise and necessary equipment as a clear sign of professionalism. And to top it all, Christian helped me understand several electrical stuff in a very practical way without a slight sense of intimidation nor confusion. Christian always had logical answers to all my questions and Landen was quite efficient with his work too. As a customer, I really felt heard, respected, and acknowledged.     Great service received from West Houston Electric and Theo Nikolla, I first had an appointment for an estimate which was done for free, and then had my service appointment, both time I had a great experience from Theo, I was a little scared because I found out about WHE by googling and that’s is something that can go wrong some times but not this time, great experience, great service and very professional.

    West Houston Electric installed an EV charger and a light at my house.The installation of the EV charger was difficult because it involved running conduit under my house in the crawl space.Joseph and Miguel came out to my house on time. They worked tirelessly to install the EV charger and light. They did a fantastic job: they were on time, professional, and cleaned up after they were done. They performed a safety inspection and pointed out several deficiencies with my existing electrical service, which I greatly appreciated. I am very happy and satisfied with their work and highly recommended them for your electrical work.

    Easy to schedule online. They responded to confirm the appointment the next day.Brian was great as a technician! He was professional, found the issue quickly and resolved it, as well as went over options with me to consider for the future based on his safety inspection without being pushy.     Drew was exceptionally personable and professional from the moment he arrived in our home. The team at the Call Center were also extremely friendly and easy to work with, great customer service all around from the team.Drew was able to provide the immediate fix we needed on his first visit, and gave us a recommendation based on the state of our home to ensure we would not have the same problems later on down the line. This company offers financing options that we were happy to take advantage of to cover the cost of the full service that we needed.My sister was present for the big job scheduled a week later, and she noted that Drew and Pablo were both very friendly and cleaned up after themselves once they were done. Drew even stuck around for my fiancé to get home to further show him the work completed.Everything looks great and is working as we would need it to. I would recommend West Houston Electric!
