I called JG services a few minutes past closing time with an emergency. Although it was after hours& they normally do not do emergency calls, Jamie recognized a safety concern and Instructed me to call consumers energy right away. Knowing I was going to be displaced, Jamie followed up that evening to make sure I had secured a safe place to be. In the following days, JG services worked with me to navigate the crisis. The technicians that performed the work were professional, and Worked hard to make sure Permits & inspections were in place as quickly as possible. Meanwhile, the office worked with me to sort out quotes for the work and helped me understand what was and wasn’t covered by insurance.The thing I most appreciate about working with JG services is that through every step they made sure that safety was never compromised for the sake of cost or completion. My realtor recommended JG Services for a new to me home that was in need of a electrical panel update and relocation. I also had several GFCI outlets installed and some unsafe wiring up in the attic addressed. First, I had to reschedule due to some other emergency contract work that needed to be done on the same day that I already had scheduled for JG to come out. Jamie was flexible and great to work with in getting rescheduled promptly. The team of techs that arrived were all polite, friendly and professional. They diligently worked and exceeded my expectations with wiring cleanup and job site cleanup. I cant speak more highly of the guys that were here as well as everyone Ive had contact with. Ive even requested additional work quotes to have them back out and address some non-critical items that would be better left to a professional.

Ive had several electricians come out to estimate the cost of a hot tub installation. Edgar came out from JG and he was by far the most knowledgable, patient, and enthusiastic of the bunch. While I havent yet selected an electrician, this alone deserved a review.I will say that I was surprised with both an unknown $100 visit fee at the end (unlike all of the other electricians) and the general cost of the estimate was at the highest end of them all as well, but still, Edgar stepped up and made the visit worthy of a recommendation.

They immediately gave me a call to let me know that they dont service the city in which my house is located, but they did have some recommendations for whom I could call. So, while I couldnt use JG for my work, they were professional and prompt and courteous all of which are good signs.

They added can and wafer ceiling lights in several rooms, new Lutron switches, hung all new lighting fixtures and swapped out all the electrical outlets. We were on a tight timeline with our other contractors and JG Services fit us into their schedule very quickly. Even though we kept adding items, JG Services was amenable and quickly responsive the 3 times we called (they dont know it yet but we have one more item for them :).Their electricians are some of the most courteous and professional tradesmen weve ever worked with. Always polite, cleaned up after themselves, consulted with us when needed and very respectful. We completely trust JG Services to provide exceptional, quality electrical service and will continue to use them for all of our electrical projects.

We were given a fair price quote for the items we thought we needed and then additional items that were safety concerns that we had not been aware of. Never in any part of the process did we feel pressured to spend any more money than we were comfortable with or feel that we had not been thoroughly a part of every decision. The crew was on time for the 3 days of the job, wore protective foot coverings when entering our home, and face coverings the entire time they were on our property. We had a minor plumbing emergency overnight, and I called Jaime the next morning. Even though he was booked, he did some shuffling and was able to accommodate us which we were so grateful for (especially since we called 5 other plumbers who were too busy and had to turn us away). Jaimes master plumber fixed our severely clogged kitchen sink, and came back the next week to repair piping under our sink that wasnt done properly to begin with. I definitely recommend Jaime and JG Services to anyone looking for plumbing or electrical work -- hoping we have a chance to work together again in the future!

I was referred to JG Services by another company. They did trouble shooting over phone and had a good idea of what was wrong. They had someone to my home in 20-30 minutes. Their representative came in confirmed what was spoken about during the trouble shooting. Put us to a priority level and got us done in just 2 days after the initial visit. They also handled everything with Consumers so I was able to go along trouble free for the weekend.I already plan on having them come out for some other electrical needs that I have plans for.

Jaime and his team at JG Services are top notch. We contacted Jaime for removal and replacement of our old water heater after waking up to a flood of water in the basement. JGs master plumber was out to assess the situation within an hour of our call, and was able to come back first thing the following morning to replace the water heater -- the plumbing team was nothing but professional, kind, and courteous.After our positive experience with the plumbing service, we requested a quote from Jaime for some long-overdue electrical work including adding grounding to our electrical panel, rewiring our fire-hazard of a garage, and removing some bare wire running down the side of the house. Jaime walked through the entire scope of the project, patiently answering all of my questions and promptly provided a quote with several different, reasonable options. Jaime and Edgar came out on a freezing cold January day to complete all the work and, again, were true professionals.I cannot recommend the JG Services team enough and plan to use their services again in the future.

Wow, these guys raise the combined features of competence and customer service to a new level!Jaime promptly responded to my request to install an overhead light fixture and remove an old one, and he gave me very reasonable quote. I had other questions for him about additional electrical issues and he assessed the respective situations and gave me great input on the needs that I have. My panel needed updating (and he carefully explained the pros/cons of doing so), and when I told him to proceed with the repair, he made sure I understood what was included in the adjusted quote, and completed the job while he was at my place so everything could be done in one service call. His is definitely no pressure, in his careful explanations of various potential projects, but he is very attentive to the customer fully understanding what needs done.I highly recommend Jaime, and his very competent colleague, Edgar. They worked quickly and thoroughly completed the jobs, and summarized everything theyd done for me at the end. They also managed to be cordial throughout. They cleaned up every bit of their work area. We noticed a glow coming from a ground wire in our basement while our dryer was running which was super concerning. We called the next day (Monday) and they were able to get someone out that day to look at it. The electrician (TJ I think) spent time to recreate and figure out the problem, he explained everything going on and what the options were. Thankfully he was able to do all the repair that day. So grateful for Jaime and TJs help! Ive always been a little worried about it being an older house and feel so much better having the Ground Wires up to code and the few other fixes he did 😅

JG Services installed new exhaust fans in all of our bathrooms and did a fantastic job. They advised us on which type of fan to select that would do the job, without having to rewire our electrical system (I had purchased fans that were too big) which saved us a lot of money. Jaime inspected our electrical panel and installed a whole house surge protector. They also installed a number of Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter outlets that were failing. Jaime took his time to explain everything they were going to do and made sure we were completely satisfied. He arrived exactly at our appointment time and completed all the work in one day. While installing one of the fans, they found a water pipe that was in the way. After informing us, they purchased another fan that would fit and installed it. I am EXTREMELY pleased with their work and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for any electrical work. We will be using them to do additional work in our home as needed.
