Someone recommended Superior Plumbing from Gray. I called them Monday evening at 630pm and they responded immediately. He gave me an estimate over the phone to replace my water heater and said he could be at my house the next day between 4-6pm. He messaged me Tuesday at 3:20 pm saying he was on his way. He arrived exactly at 4pm. He replaced my water heater in a very timely manner and was gone by 5:30 pm. He charged me exactly the amount he stated. I am very impressed with this company! Our garden irrigation pump quit on us. JJ came out to investigate and did a thorough look at the system. As it turns out, everything was still operative but had become clogged. After cleaning, the system was up and running again in less than an hour.The best part of his visit was the look on his face when he discovered that we werent going to have to buy new hardware. We were relieved that no additional cost would be incurred, but he was excited for us too. THAT is someone who cares about the customer. Would highly recommend, good service by a good human being.

We needed to make sure our system had a Pressure Control Valve ahead of the City’s activating their new line—non-emergency but still a little nerve-wracking. I was relieved that the experience was nothing to fear! I had read some positive reviews of Superior online; so, I called, and I got a friendly response from a real person and an appointment for a few days later. Jon arrived within the first 30 minutes of the 2-hour appointment window, was very friendly, and got straight to work. When he had checked for the valve, he explained what he saw and also gave me some helpful advice for winterizing our outdoor hoses/spigots. He seemed very knowledgeable and sincere. Everything went smoothly, and I gladly put the Superior magnet he gave me up on the fridge for future use. I would definitely recommend Superior to anyone needing plumbing help and/or work done!

We initially used Superior Plumbing for a Friday late afternoon water leak under our home. JJ responded quickly and was able to diagnose the issue quickly and it was repaired the next day within a hour when he was able to obtain the part.Naturally when we suspected a leak in our waterline coming to the house we called them again. The issue was diagnosed quickly and an accurate and detailed estimate was provided within a day. We will be scheduling that repair very soon.

Our hot water tank began leaking, and we needed to replace it immediately. After several attempts to contact plumbing companies who had call services that required going through option trees but resulted in not being able to speak with a person, I was able to contact Superior Plumbing. Over the phone, I was explained the pluses and minus of the different types of water heaters, got a price quote, and had the replacement installed within three business day. The plumbers arrived on time, installed the new tank, and were accurate regarding the hot water would be restored. In addition, they wrote out the information needed to send in for the warranty. The water heater is working well. I was impressed by their service and professionalism. I plan on using the company for all my plumbing needs.

Superior is my families go to for all our plumbing needs. If you have any plumbing work I would highly recommend Superior Plumbing and I do. I have used this company many times, home and business (I will be making a separate review from our business and the great work Superior has done there as well). As for our project at home, JJ installed a toilet as well as the plumbing for the toilet which involved ripping up the floor and dealing with the blackwidows ( thanks JJ lol ). He also ran about 50ft of pipe through the walls for the hot & cold for the waterheater he installed and to the sink that he installed and had to do the plumbing for the sink drain into the main. It was a lot of work and JJ had it done in no time and did it all at a very fair price. They always get right back to you with any questions or concerns you may have. He did it promptly on the day he said he would, and he worked me into his schedule on the same week as requested services. He installed a new water heater before, and knew how good he was from that experience. Prices are very reasonable and he was very easy to work with. Will use him again to finish off the renovation project. Had them back out to finish the shower install, custom run some plumbing to a double vanity from single supply and drain in a very tight space and unclog my tub drain. Another Positive UPDATE:Below is my prior service with Superior Plumbing. Yes, it is positive too. Our house sits about 900 off the road. This time I had him install a spigot in the lower part of the yard, closer to the street, so we had water available there. Flawless, perfect work again!PRIOR:JJ, the owner, was very responsive to my request for service. It was no emergency, but service was scheduled quickly and he arrived on time.This was a service through First American Home Warranty. JJ replaced two leaky toilet valves, not just one. He also did the necessary paperwork to have the kitchen sink faucet replaced by the warranty company as it was non-repairable.As this is a new house to us, I had a couple of other things I wanted him to look at and I will DEFINITELY use him for those items.His vans are clean and new. He has set himself up to have a very successful business. Based upon his very professional business practices, he will definitely have a successful business.So yes, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Superior Plumbing. They will be the contractor I chose for the upgrades I will be doing in the future.

We had been on well water for 17 years and had started having problems with the well. We decided to get on Kingsport City water which meant we would need a plumber to connect pipe for us from our existing line to the city meter. We contacted JJ with Superior Plumbing in June. He came out gave us a ball park price. Although there were issues with scheduling from the city, JJ stuck with us for 6 months! Once things started happening on the city side of our project, JJ was right there working with us on his side of our project, even after all those months! He was on time, did an impressive job according to the city crew. He kept his original estimate quote to us even though through the past 6 months prices on everything had gone up quiet a bit due to supply chain shortages and the economy! Called around to find a plumber and superior had the absolute best response time and availability of all of the businesses I called. They came out quickly for the evaluation and when they came back to do the work it was done faster and for less money than originally quoted, which superiors quote was also the one I found to have the best quoted price I had gotten from having called around. They were quick to respond to my drain problem. Water was not leaving the house and backing up in the bath tub. They checked some pipes, and spent a lot of time looking at my septic tank (which I already had exposed) to find the issue. They identified the problem which was collapsed septic tank outlet lines. They are not licensed to fix this problem, but they did make a few recommendations for it. They went above and beyond what they had to do from a customer service perspective. I will use them for any future plumbing needs.
