It started out a little rocky because we got conflicting information from first Jack and then the second man, but Bob was able to clarify what needed to be done and how it would be handled. Devon and Hayden came on Monday and they were both great. They explained everything they were doing and always alerted me to when they would be shutting the power off so I was prepared. They worked quickly and were very nice and polite young men. They completed the work on time and did a great job. We are very pleased and would happily recommend your company to our friends.

We selected Hometown Electric and Plumbing to complete our residential project. The project was to relocate our 200 ampService panel for all of our house circuits as well as install a Generac 24 KW whole house generator with an Auto Transfer switch. This was a very complicated project. From the very beginning we had a comfort level from Daniel who came ( on time as scheduled) to look at our needs and give us a cost to the expert technicians doing the work. Nathan, Aiden and Ashe did an excellent job and all were very well experienced in the work being done. They were very efficient and thorough explaining each step to us. They were careful in keeping the power shut offs to a minimum and did a good job cleaning up. We can happily and whole heartedly recommend them for all electrical and plumbing needs.

He was very knowledgable, explaining every detail of what was needed to fix the leak under my kitchen sink, and went out of his way to find the water main to turn off the water to my apartment. I cannot thank him enough for a job well done! Thanks to him I no longer have a swimming pool in my kitchen.

Jack and Jerry were both great! Very professional and helpful... which is the same experience I have had with EVERY interaction with Hometown Plumbing over the past year or two. They communicate well, show up when they say they will, and so far Ive not had any problems with any work that has been done. We signed up for the maintenance program this year, and it gives me peace of mind knowing Ive got a reliable people to call on when I need help. Im definitely interested in checking out the electrical and HVAC services which were recently added as well. Highly recommend!

Hunter Hobbs was our Tech. We had a clog in our main line. Hunter was very knowledgeable and helpful in assisting our problem. He also pointed out items that we need to watch. Hunter is a personable and respectful person, it was a pleasure having him in our home. He is a real asset to your company.

Had an issue Sunday night with our gas water heater, Ben was here Monday and we were able to take showers that night. Both technicians were courtesy and respectful, and the new piping looks way better than what was here when we bought the house, even the gas piping. Mason was polite and professional. Arrived on time assessed and found the problem in a relatively short time and ordered the part. (I was very impressed - as the company who installed the unit had been here twice and couldnot seem to find or fix the issue even as it was in evidence while they were on premises.) Mason then returned with portable heaters for us to use as it was going to take a few days to get the needed part. Hometown called to schedule install and Mason worked past normal hours to get the install complete and unit running. I cant say enough good things about Hometown and Mason.

Our water had been turned off for two days because of a water leak at our meter. Another plumbing company said they could not come for three more days. We called Hometown Plumbing and Electrical, Inc and they sent a plumber Luke Turner, within two hours. Luke gave us a good estimate for the repair and quickly fixed the leak within an hour and we had water again. Luke is a pleasant young gentleman who did an excellent job.

This company was wonderful to work with! After being stood up three times with no-call no-shows from another company; these guys were a saving grace and a delight to work with. Office staff Morgan and Samantha were excellent in their communication; they ended up needing to reschedule but gave me the courtesy call as heads up and kept track of the technician for our appointment to give me an accurate time for arrival. The technician, Austin, showed up on time for our original estimate and was so polite, well-spoken, and courteous! He gave me a written estimate with multiple options for fixes and proved to be very knowledgeable. He completed the work promptly and cleaned up his mess once he was finished. The service fee was a lot more affordable than many of these other places as well.It is clear that this team has had excellent training, and have learned all the little things that make or break a service!I will definitely recommend them to my peers, friends, and clients in the future!

Having recently moved to TN we wanted to have the HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical inspected for issues we have already identified as well as for peace of mind that proper maintenance has taken place over the years...and if not, what needs to be fixed. Mason from HVAC, Kooper from Electrical, and Austin from Plumbing were all very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I think it was Sam that took my initial call and scheduled the appointments and then Morgan who confirmed them - those girls provided good customer service as well. I opted to have an outlet fixed b/c my coffee pot kept going off (and we cant have that) and an old light switch replaced...thankfully the heating was just an annual servicing and got a good bill of health, but I had no hot water in one shower so I got that fixed and needed help changing the water sediment filter in a crawlspace that was causing little rocks in the laundry and making my hair disgusting. Austin made a video of the process so that my husband can do it in the future for free. My only financial regret was that service b/c it was expensive for what was needed to be done but it couldnt wait in my opinion b/c my own handyman was traveling. It can be tough to justify the cost of this type of labor but these fellas deserve what the going rate is and the customer has to hope we get what we pay for. Anywhooo, overall Id recommend this company and will consider using them again for future needs.

We discovered a small leak in our comode. We werent quite sure where it was coming from, but thought it might be the seal in the floor. We called Hometown and Jeb responded. He arrived at the time expected. He went to work quickly and discovered the probelm was actually the seals in the tank were worn out. He gave us 3 pricing options and we found the middle option to be very fair (according to plumber standards). He went to work and the job was done efficiently the first time.

We read the reviews for your company, and felt confident that your technician could identify the cause of our problems. For a few years now, our dishwasher would not drain consistently. The plumbing had actually been “fixed” three previous times. It seemed to be going from bad to worse. Kyle Turner went straight to work, following the drain lines from the sink through the basement. He assessed the water heater, and told us that it was needing to be replaced. It was 24 years old, so we didn’t doubt him. We agreed to have both issues resolved today. He was so methodical, and quickly showed us that the previous plumber had the drainage installed incorrectly, and that was why the dishwasher wasn’t draining. Sure enough, we ran the dishwasher, and it worked perfectly! He replaced the water heater, and found that the person that installed it initially had the wires backwards. Yikes! We were so pleased that we asked him to replace an outside water faucet and put a shutoff to it indoors, and put a proper shutoff on our main water line. Wow! We are thrilled to have things working safely and efficiently. Kyle is a true professional. He’s an asset to Hometown Plumbing. We signed up for the maintenance program, and if needs arise in the future, we know who to call and recommend!

I had a huge plumbing issue on Saturday which caused my basement to flood. I called 5 other 24 hour emergency plumbers and not one reached out. Devin with hometown plumbing was the only one that called back and even came out to my house at almost 10:30 at night. He was very thorough about explaining to me what my plumbing issue was and was right back out to my home to fix the problem. His craftsmanship was awesome and took the time to show me how the pump I needed would work to help out with my plumbing needs. I would highly recommend them. I do have other plumbing upgrades that need to be done and I will only use hometown plumbing for the job

Hunter Hobbs is a very personableand professional young man sent out by Hometown Plumbing Inc. He did a perfect job at installing 2 electric bidet toilets, 4 sink pop-up drains and a new heavy duty PRV valve. He also inspected a leak in the crawl space underneath the house and found it was coming from the HVAC system, not from the plumbing. The amazing part is he was able to complete the job in less than a day!We have nothing but high praise for his work ethic and for the entire company. We will definitely be using Hometown Plumbing Inc again. In fact, we signed up for their yearly maintenance program and received a 15% discount on all charges. In case you didnt get it yet, this RATING is EXCELLENT!

I was worried showing up late in the day they wouldnt be able to tackl such a large job at our house including running electrical wire and replumbing for a tabkless water heater but we signed the paymen notice at maybe 3 pm and they put priority on our job inclduing more tech’s. I believe we had five techs in and iut of our house and within maybe 2-3 hours they had the job complete! Amazing service and im happy i chose this company to get the work done.

I couldn’t be happier with the service we got from hometown plumbing! They got us in the first time on a Saturday, and Noah came out and did his best to unclog our pipe. Unfortunately we needed major repair, and Noah came back out and did a fantastic job fixing our pipes and explaining the entire process. I did a google search to find a reputable plumber and we were not disappointed with Hometown Plumbing from Gray, TN.The technician made initial contact when expected to, arrived on time and was up to troubleshooting our issue. He was courteous as well as competent.Kyle provided an accurate quote when asked and answered all questions and addressed all concerns that we had. He was in our home for approximately 4 hours and, after cleaning up, waited to make certain that the new commercial grade hot water heater he installed was working as he expected . He explained the warranty, described a service plan, legibly wrote pertinent information on the unit itself, including warranty date and set temperature of the unit. He removed the old unit.We would not hesitate to recommend this company and intend to request Kyle as our service technician should the need ever arise.An unanticipated expensive home repair is never pleasant but we feel as though the value we received for the money extended was more than fair. Our gratitude for a job well done.

Very pleased with Nick’s work. He was punctual and very efficient. He took his time explaining the issues with me and answered my questions. He cleared a severe clog and replaced a toilet flange. He was scheduled late on a Friday and I assumed he would just access the situation. I was pleasantly surprised to see he stayed to fix the urgent issue that created a leak into my basement. I’ve already scheduled him for a much larger project. The work is not cheap. This is the 3rd plumbing company I have had out. I have complete confidence the future project is in good hands.

Ok, so where do I begin? We were in deeper crap than you could have ever clogged in a toilet. What we thought was a simple leak from a failing toilet, turned out to be multiple issues. From a broken regulator to a water heater leaking rusty water, we were needing some help, and fast. Called Hometown Plumbing on a Saturday, scheduled a service call for Monday. Promptly at 9am, in walks Ben, a well-mannered guy with a great sense of humor. Ben did a thorough inspection of ALL things water related and discovered these issues. When he told us about their amazing warranty, we were hooked. Only $9.99 a month, and it covers ALL fixtures installed by them, plus anything not covered would double the length of the warranty. After some short thought, we decided to replace EVERYTHING. Faucets, water heater, regulator, and anything water-related that was not an appliance. Ben was able to get started immediately, which is rare with a job so big. Despite being shorthanded, he did the ENTIRE installation part of the job by himself, with a little help from the bosss son with tear down and prep. Bens work is SUPER clean, and he also has a perfectionist outlook just like I do when it comes to things, even the ones you dont see. He was pleasant to talk to the entire time, which was nearly 2 days. He engaged in conversation, which most contractors do not do, and made the experience feel more like having family around. Not only was he friendly, but he also even helped move a large package that was delivered from my driveway to garage. On many occasions, I was curious of how the process was going, and would sneak up on Ben. He was very understanding of my curiosity, and even joked about my ninja powers, as he never seemed to hear me coming. Hope this guy is getting paid extra for not only providing quality work, but also quality conversation and peace of mind, something I havent seen in quite a while. Thanks Hometown Plumbing for one of the easiest plumbing experiences we have EVER had!!

My only complaint would be that the pricing seemed high in comparison to recent work I’ve had done in the last year from another reputable plumbing contractor. I had a $1500 job done that took all day less than a year ago and this job took an hour and a half and it was over $1000 just to install a new vanity I had already purchased.

It’s hard to find good professional service these days regarding plumbing and so that’s why I’m glad we found Hometown Plumbing Inc out of Johnson City TN. They were awesome! The plumber, Dave, patiently walked us through our options with fair estimates and explained things in an honest simple manner. No gimmicks or trickery, just pure professional honesty and integrity. That’s how you secure future business. And the work was clean and tight as his assistant Dustin came by to help with the job and also provided excellent service. Dave and Dustin planned the job, communicated the work to be done, and then executed the decided upon work with speed, accuracy and precision. Good work and friendly employees, but they’re expensive. I do like that they answered the phone unlike others and got me scheduled within 2 days. I had a busted water line under my mobile home and they had no problem fixing it. I actually had other company say they didn’t work on mobile homes. Overall happy with my service, just wish it was a little cheaper. Also something I didn’t like was the plumber who came out really tried to push me on more work and services’s than I needed, but I imagine his company pushes that, so maybe a little less of that and just do the job I called for.
